"Man, I have missed the private jet." Thea said as she and Roy got off the Queen Family private jet, which had just landed at the San Francisco airport.
"Yeah, it's nice. I don't know how you managed to put up with traveling in coach." Roy said.
"Careful, remember, not only am I goddess, but I also control your sex life." Thea reminded him, since she'd brought him up to speed on what she'd been up to over the past few years in this reality.
"Right, sorry, still getting used to the fact that my girlfriend is now a literal goddess. You're rubbing that in Oliver's face when he gets home right?" Roy asked Thea.
"Of course. Especially since he should have his pre-crisis memories intact." Thea said, right as a car pulled up and two people got out of it. One of them was a tall white guy with black hair wearing a dark polo shirt and jeans and the other was a pretty black woman with red hair and seeming to favor a purple 70s look.
"Well, well, baby Queen, it's been a while." Dick Grayson with a smile as he walked up to her.
"Flying Grayson, I told you not to call me that." Thea said with a smile of her own as they hugged.
"It's been awhile. I thought you were dead." Dick said.
"Yeah, a lot of people said that. I was in a pretty dark place after my dad and brother died and I needed some time away and it took the help of a new friend to help me get my life back on track." Thea said.
"Really, what was this friend's name?" Dick asked.
"Diana Prince." Thea said as she saw Dick exchange a look with the woman.
"Did she by any chance take you to a hidden island called Themyscira?" Dick asked, much to Thea's shock.
"Wait, what?" Thea asked.
"I know Diana Prince is Wonder Woman." Dick said.
"Okay, we can get into this later, but for now, I think we have other introductions to make. This is my new boyfriend Roy Harper." Thea said as Roy held out his hand for Dick to shake, which he did and honestly, Roy was relieved to see that Dick was around Oliver's age, since when Thea was younger she'd never sleep with someone older than her who was also likely Oliver's friend.
"Nice to meet you." Dick said.
"Likewise. How do you know Thea?" Roy asked.
"Through our families. My last name may be Grayson, but I'm the oldest child of Bruce Wayne. Adopted of course. I don't think that man can hold onto a woman long enough to have a biological child." Dick explained.
"Okay then. Who's this you brought with you?" Thea asked, since this was bringing all sorts of questions to mind.
"My girlfriend Kory Anders." Dick said as Kory joined them.
"It's nice to meet you. But what brings you to San Francisco?" Kory asked.
"We'll talk on the way to the hotel." Thea said.
"Actually, considering we've got a whole tower to ourselves, you're staying with us." Dick said and Thea nodded as Dick and Kory helped them with their bags and they got in the car and headed into the city.
"Wow, you guys live here?" Thea asked when they arrived at what she now knew was called Titan Tower, since she and Dick had exchanged stories, where she told him about her time on Themyscira and how she was now the avatar of Artemis and he told her about how he'd been Batman's first sidekick and how he'd formed his own team out here in San Francisco, though it hadn't been active for nearly a decade, due to a majority of the team going their separate ways and the fact that San Francisco hadn't been in need of them for years.
"Yeah. Courtesy of Wayne Enterprises, It's both our home and our base of operations, though it hasn't really served that purpose in years." Dick said.
"Well, I get the feeling that we'll be booting that back up, but who were the other members of your team, since you made it sound like Kory was the newest member." Thea said.
"I was. The original titans were made up of myself, Donna Troy and Garth Bernstein." Dick said.
"Wait, was Garth by any chance an Atlantean?" Thea asked.
"Yeah, how did you know that?" Dick asked.
"Because that's who I was sent here to find. I need him to train me to fight like an Atlantean. I need all the combat training I can get for whatever threat is coming." Thea said.
"Well Dick, sounds like it might be time for the titans to come out of retirement?" Kory asked her boyfriend, who nodded.
"I agree. It sounds like whatever is happening is something that requires the Titans." Dick said.
"I'll take all the help I can get, since Roy's already on board, since believe me, he's got some skills, but he needs a suit." Thea said.
"I'll call Bruce, see if he can help with that." Dick said, since he'd already revealed that Bruce Wayne was Batman to them.
"Good idea. And also, see if he'll get us some advanced equipment." Thea said, since compared to the bunker or Star Labs, this place was relatively underwhelming as a superhero base.
"I'll see if he'll spring for it, though I'll make it clear that I'm not the one in charge anymore." Dick said.
"Wait, what?" Thea asked.
"This is your mission, we're just jumping on board. You're in charge now." Dick said and Thea nodded.
"Okay then. Now, can you help me find Garth, since I really do need to start my training with him." Thea said.
"Yeah, I keep tabs on him. But maybe you've seen our other former member Donna Troy, since like you, she's a member of the Amazons." Dick said as he showed her a picture of the original Titans' lineup, which was him, Kory, along with two other people, a man and a woman, the woman who Thea did recognize.
"Yeah, I remember Donna. We trained together on Themyscira and I always felt like there was a sense of resentment from her towards me and Diana, maybe because she was jealous that we could return to the outside world." Thea said.
"I don't know. She was the first one to leave after she ghosted us." Kory said.
"Next time I'm on Themyscira, I'll ask her about that." Thea said and Dick nodded.
"I'll take you to Garth tomorrow. For today, you and Roy get settled in." Dick said and Thea nodded as Kory showed her and Roy to their room.
