Chapter 1
Sector 2814
Within this Sector we see a lone ship flying through it with two Green Lanterns on there regular patrols
"This is Green Lantern Greledo Ferjo in Sector 2814 heading to Ungara for routine patrol in the space ship currently owned by Abin Sur despite the fact we have the rings that allow us to FLY in space... Abin Sur any comments"
"Even though our rings gives us many abilities we must not relie on them for everything, for if a time comes when our rings don't work what then Greledo"
Abin said as turned from his chair and faced Greledo who could not think of an answer, before there rings glowed brining up a hologram display.
"It would appear our rings have detected some unknown energy... searching the database for further information"
A red alert came up detailing what the unknown energy was.
"Well now it would appear our database has identified it on numerous worlds that once supported life only to be devasted by some kind of gigantic plant life, this maybe our chance to find out what happened to these worlds"
Greledo Said as Abin began to change course to investigate it only to be stopped by Greledo.
"Hold it I'll go and check and before you say anything I get there quicker before this ship can and you've still need to patrol this sector... alright"
Abin took a minute to think but decided it was best to let Greledo go as it was a investigation mission only.
"Fine... but be sure to record everything" He said as he pushed a button opening a door to let his green skinned friend out.
"Understood" He said as the light of his ring engulfed him as he left to investigate.
Hour later.
Planet Elem
Greledo ring took him to a nearby planet which was showing a much higher reading of the unknown energy, Greledo seeing the world pointed his ring at it to get a more accurate reading knowing full well how draining it would be on his ring.
"Interesting... this world is literally brimming with the energy and there are lifeforms down there as well, according to the ring there moving into the Industrial Age and yet this energy could be used to form a new clean energy source for them... need to study the lifeforms more closey and see how the energy is affecting them"
Looking at the readings from his ring he headed to a spot where a sudden large amount of energy just emerged.
Konoha.
As Greledo approached the Village he saw something he never saw in his entire life... a Giant creature.
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
It's powerful roar sent hundreds of people flying away, it's tails destroying builds left and right.
Greledo seeing wreckage of a building about to fall on a human like creature and it's off spring, he sprung into action and shot a beam from his ring which grabbed the wreckage allowing the creatures to move away as he let go, he saw another creature on a wall with blade looking at him, the creature speaking a language Greledo did not understand but hoped his ring might be able to help.
"dsajoiw youdhfge now"
'Come on transulator'
"Di yok hear me"
'Almost there'
"What and who are you"
'Got it'
"My name is Greledo Ferjo a Green Lantern"
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Another roar caused them to turn there heads towards the creature which began to power something above it's mouth.
"TAILED BEAST BOMB TAKE COVER"
The human looking creature launched the attack leaving a trail of destruction in it's path before Greledo using his ring he manage to grab hold of the bomb and divert it's path into the sky where it detonated safely above the village.
"Thank you for saving us stranger" The creature said which should have brought joy to Greledo but instead it just brought more answers.
"What is that creature"
"It's the Kyubi no Yoko or the 9 tails... a creature of pure hate and destruction... how did it get into the village, and is that the Sharigan in it's eyes"
"The Shari or what (Noticing his ring is glowing) I need to recharge my ring... IS THAT ANOTHER GIANT CREATURE"
Just before the creature could say what it was Greledo flew away into the forest to recharge his ring as it was a bad idea to recharge during a battle as it was the only time a Green Lantern was vulnerable.
"Ok... WHAT in the universe is going here my ring detected that energy emitting not only from that monsterous creature but the human looking one as well"
He said as he opened a small pocket dimension on is uniform for his hand to enter, a few seconds later he took out his Green Lantern Battery.
"Got to do this fast, who knows how long that creature will stay tied up"
He said as he pointed his ring at the lantern.
"In brightest day, in blackest nig..."Before he could even start charging his ring he saw the creature teleported right in front of him and two other humans one male and the other female, the giant creature looking confused.
"There has to be another way, seal the fox back in me I'll take when I die" The female said as tears fell down her face.
"You and I both know that would only buy the village a few years at best... I'm sorry but there is no other way" The male said as he summoned an altar and placing an infant on it.
"What is happening, where am I... no not AGAIN" The creature said surprising the Green Lantern as he saw the creature about to attack the altar, using what left of his ring he fired a few blasts at the creature
"NO YOU DON'T"
But saw it did nothing but got it's attention.
"I don't know what you are, but I DON'T CARE" A massive hand came crashing down on Greledo who tried to use his ring to cast a barrier on himself but the low power caused it to failed completely killing him instantly, between the fingers a small green light emerged and flew straight into the sky.
"I don't know if that was it's soul or not but I WILL NOT BE SEALED AGAIN" He said only for golden chains to wrap around him as the male human finished making a deal with a dark creature.
"What is happening to me"
The fox said as his body began to split into to two, thinking quickly he raised his other hand and attempted to stab the infant only for the parents to get in the way and get stabbed instead.
"NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO" Was the last word fox the parents said there goodbyes to there child as the fox was pulled into said child his hand that was holding the dead Lantern released it's grib but unknownly dragged the Latern Battery into the seal.
After it was sealed away did others arrive at the scene.
"Quickly check Minato and Kushina now" The elder said as he went to the altar and saw the infant with a seal on it's stomach.
"nnnarruuuttttooo" Ksuhina said as the elder brought him other.
"Please Hiruzen... watch other him... (tears began to fall down her face) we didn't... much choice" With her last words her eyes closed forever.
"I will watch over him, that I will promise" Hiruzen said as he looked at Naruto.
Planet Oa.
With the Great halls of Oa a meeting was under way with the Guardians of the Universe who reviewing the footage taken by the deceased Lantern Greledo Ferjo.
"According to the readings this 'Energy' is natural to the planets where it's discovered but also the habitants also appear to generate this energy as well"
"We already knew that those worlds generated this 'energy' what we need to know is what happened to them that caused them to be barren and lifeless"
"That is the question, another smaller question is that even though the ring returned to us the battery did not and is not responding"
"That is a small matter... for now I believe we will construct a satellite that will monitor the world in question till we know what to do... those who agree"
"Agree" Was everyone's answer.
Naruto's mindscape.
Within the seal the fox is currently trying to figure a way out.
"Damn seal, Damn Minato, DAMN KUSHINA"
Looking around the seal, the water only a few inches off the ground already the fox is annoyed.
"This place looks like a sewer" The fox grabs it's stomach in pain.
"Damn it... my chakra needs time to stabilize... finally this seal has some use after all, what's this"
The fox looks at it's hand see's something glowing, looking closer he sees the Green Lantern Battery.
"Is is that a lantern... that creature, what was it doing and what was it"
Raising it's hand to it's head, a look of anger and hatred was seen.
"Doesn't (Crushes the Lantern" MATTER"
A Powerful green explosion comes from his hand causing the fox enormous amout of pain as the Green energy begins to envelope him.
"No NO WHAT'S HAPPENING... THIS IS IMPOSSIB"
Hokage's Office.
The Green Energy vaporizing the fox before expanding to the gate and going through as the seal was designed to contain the fox and not the Energy which began to change the Infant Naruto Chakra coils doing something that has never happened before, not only eradicating chakra from his body but allow it to generate it instead turning Naruto into a living Green Lantern Battery.
