Chapter 1:meeting death and the DWMA
"Death, a concept that is universal and all understanding, no one can escape it, no one can run from it, and no one can fight it. Death is something that everyone fears and respects, whose who kill for pleasure end up on a list, Death's list, but who is it that completes the kills on that list, the Meisters and their weapons." Says a man with white rings around his black hair as he's lecturing a special student who has green hair, freckles, and an eye for detail, Izuku Midoriya, soon to be known as Izuku Midori Star.
Izuku's life was not one of peace, first he found out that he was quirk was useless, which meant that he was effectively quirkless, which in his old world meant that he was weak and powerless, his former best friend turned on his saying he was a weakling that won't amount to anything, then three days after that he was kidnapped by witches that killed his mother and father who was home for Izuku's fifth birthday due to his job making him travel overseas. Izuku was taken back to the world of the witches as the god of war arrived and took care of the witches that were dissecting Izuku for his quirk, unfortunately when Black Star saw the boy was scared he knelt down to the boy after he released him as Star's partner and then girlfriend Tsubaki turning into her human form and comforted the boy who just collapsed into her arms crying.
As Izuku raised his hand Death looked at him. "So in this world only these weapons for the meisters have powers?" Asks Izuku
"Yes and no, meisters can have powers as well if their soul is strong enough, for example Black Star has an ultimate move called BlackStar Big Wave, in which The technique is executed by jumping towards the target from behind in a special stance, the user slams their elbow and palm into the user. The result is a star-shaped manifestation in which create an electrical-like force that injures the target. The resulting attack damages the target's vital points in their body." Says Death.
"So if someone has a strong soul then they could be strong?"
"That's not all, those with strong souls can also defy logic and do amazing things, like Black Star catching lasers." Says Death.
"Woah, but how can I even compare to him, my quirk is even useless like it is." Says Izuku.
"And what can you tell me about your quirk?" Says Death kneeling to Izuku's eye level.
"The doctor said my soul can adapt to others and their soul's traits, it's useless." Says Izuku but when he looked into death's eyes he didn't see pity or sympathy, he saw excitement, and new possibilities. "Um sir?"
"Izuku you said your quirk allows your soul to tune to others right?" Says Lord Death grabbing Izuku's shoulders in excitement.
"Y-yes." Says Izuku scared.
"Perfect." Says Lord Death.
"What?"
"This is perfect, the possibilities of your soul are possibly infinite, heck if you were to just hold a weapon you'd be able to resonate with them immediately, not to mention that you could possibly copy techniques and powers of others." Says Lord Death pacing around the room he was in.
"Um what?"
"Izuku, your quirk actually makes you even stronger than you think, the ability to connect to anyone instantly soul wise, the ability to work with someone that you know nothing about in a matter of milliseconds, Izuku, you might be probably the most talented meister this school has ever seen."Says Lord Death, but as soon as he said this Lord Death looked into Izuku's soul and found something that disturbed him. "Hmmm."
"I-is there something wrong Mister Death?" Asks Izuku.
"It seems that Black Star might have been a little late to save your soul from being manipulated." Says Death.
"Wait does that mean I can't use my quirk!?" Asks Izuku in a panic.
"Hmmm I don't know?" Says Death as a knock was heard from the entrance to the death room. "Come in."
As those words are heard a man with purple skin with a beanie on his head walks in with a troubled look. "Lord Death, the kids that came in with Black Star have a problem."
"What is it Sid?"
"They have fragments of other souls inside them, each one having a fragment of the other and all three of the other fragments seem to be from the same person." Says the now known Sid.
As Death looks at Izuku again he can see that he has three different soul fragments inside him. "Bring them here, I think I have an idea where the fragments are." Says Lord Death.
After some time Sid came back with Black Star, Tsubaki, and two others, one being a woman with light taupe hair which she keeps in pigtails, mostly black clothing with hints of yellow and red, and another man with white spiky hair in more casual clothing with the same color scheme but more exciting.
"Death mind telling us why you brought these girls in here?" Asks the pigtailed woman.
"Just watch Maka, girls I want you to stand near the boy with green hair." Says Death.
As Death said this three girls walk up to Izuku, the first one was taller than him, so tall she could just see over him, yet the girl was actually his age wearing what seemed to look like army camouflage clothing with a beanie that was also camouflage covering her raven black hair, the second girl was almost as tall as him just a bit shorter, and wore a more traditional Japanese Yukata with her snow white hair done in a more box Shimada Mage style, the last girl was shorter than Izuku so much he could see over her head, and she had bright blond hair that was down to her waist but her bangs were down to the bridge of her nose covering her eyes.
When the three got near Izuku something extraordinary happened, all their souls began to instantly resonate with each other, healing what had been hurt due to the girl in the Yukata's anti-magic wavelength.
"Woah." Says Izuku looking at the energy that's surrounding them.
"This...this isn't normal." Says the tall but similarly aged girl.
The girl in the Yukata said nothing as she began to shake.
"This is getting freaky." Says the long haired girl.
"Hey are you alright?" Asks Izuku with the other two girls looking at the Yukata girl.
"...please, please don't hurt me." Says the girl shocking everyone.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you." Says Izuku.
"B-but you're a strong male, your soul is so strong." Says the girl.
"...that maybe so, but I'm not someone who harms someone who they just met." Says Izuku.
"But father always said that men could do whatever they wanted to do when they find their soulmate, my mother she..." Says the girl trailing off.
"What a load of bullshit!" Says the tall girl picking the girl up and bringing her into a hug as the other girl joined her.
"We're all soulmates now technically, our souls are stitched together as one in many bodies." Says the long haired girl.
"Y-wait what?" Says Izuku.
"Izuku your soul was fused with fragments of these girls' souls, and now they're permanently bonded to you." Says Lord Death.
"I...I didn't ask for that tho?" Says Izuku. As Black Star approaches Izuku he squats to his eye level and pats his head. "Hey at least you got some people to talk to that went through the same thing as you." Says Black Star as he looks at the Yukata girl. "And don't be afraid of him, he may be strong but his soul is as gentle as the breeze, you can feel it can't you?"
As the Yukata girl feels the fragment of Izuku's soul inside of her she notices that not only is it kind but bright as a star in the night, then walks over to him and lightly bows. "I-I'm Bi Nuno." Says the Yukata girl. "Well if we're introducing ourselves, I'm Remi Winchester, and I'm five by the way." Says the tall camo girl. "And I'm Mary Buki-ko, pleasure to meet you." Says the long haired short girl with a shark toothed smile. "Well I'm Izuku pleasure to meet you all, I'm can you guys tell me your quirks?" Asks Izuku with a tilt of his head.
"What's that?" Says the taller girl, confusing most of the people in the room.
"Um well quirks are um..." Says Izuku blushing in embarrassment because it was his first time having to answering a girl's question.
"From what I've gathered about Izuku's world, quirks unlike here are basically like the powers from comics but with drawbacks related to the power, like a weight limit on telekinesis, or a fire resistance instead of immunity, and so on and so forth." Says Lord Death.
"Well actually you can categorize them into four categories, I'm technically an enhancement type, and Sid-san would be a mutation type." Says Izuku.
"Actually kid, I'm no longer human." Says Sid lifting his Beanie showing the hole in his head.
Izuku faints when he sees the hole in Sid's head.
A few hours later Izuku got back up and wasn't expecting for both Black Star and Tsubaki to be watching him and making sure he was okay along with the other girls that he shared their fragments.
"Hey kid you're back." Says Black Star as Izuku woke up.
"Um sorry about that, I-"
"Ah don't be, we should have warned you." Says Black Star.
"Um do you want me to continue on quirks?" Asks Izuku.
"Well we kind of looked at the notes from the witches that we saved you from." Says Black Star.
"O-oh I see." Says Izuku.
"Well even if we know the types of quirks, we only had weak examples of them, do you know any stronger examples?" Says Tsubaki.
"W-well there's Ka-Bakugo who can create explosions from his sweat." Says Izuku.
"He probably secretes nitroglycerin and can detonate it on command." Says Remi, suddenly she can feel everyone staring at her. "What, oh it's because I know my explosive compounds isn't? Well whoop de do, you caught me."
"I'm just surprised that you guessed that so quickly not the explosive part." Says Black Star before he's hit upside the head by Tsubaki. "Ow!"
"Continue on with some examples Izuku."
"Um well I don't know any good transformation types that are close to me, but there are some heroes with transformation quirks, like Tiger of the Wild Wild Pussycats." Says Izuku nonchalantly.
Both of the adults looked at Izuku funny. "What was is something I said?" Asks Izuku.
"What's the name of the team again?" Asks Black Star.
"The Wild Wild Pussycats?"
Black Star turns his head around covering his mouth with his fist as Tsubaki blushes red. "What's wrong?" Asks the four children.
"I-It's nothing, just grownup stuff." Says Black Star.
10 Years later
Izuku had become one of the most talented meisters in DWMA history surpassing even the likes of professor Franken Stein in adaptability of his weapons, with Remi having the forms of a Winchester-Williams anti-tank rifle, Remington M40A5 sniper rifle, R5 RGP combat rifle, 870 shotgun, R51 pistol, and 1875 revolver, with Mary having the forms of Ōdachi, Katana, Wakizashi, Kusarigama, Naginata, and Jūmonji yari(three prong spear), and finally Bi having an Obi(sash) form that wraps around Izuku's arms and covers his lower face while not in his sepc ops suit which he wears a green helmet with a star shaped visor which only covers the top half of his face with a metallic mask covering the lower half of his face, wearing blueish black modern Jika Tobi, wearing a dark bordering on black greenish blue Shozoku while having a Tantō sheath on the back of his hip, and a holster within his Shozoku, with his normal attire he wears mostly green clothing with Red shoes and has metallic bolted belts loosely attached to his waist, with green steampunk glasses and a green t-shirt with the DWMA logo on its sleeves, pouches with granola bars and candy for the little ones in case he has to save them.
Izuku was currently walking back to the his apartment when he sees someone he hasn't seen in a while, Soul Eater, his father's rival. "Hey Uncle Soul what's up?"
"Well you're going on a very important mission Izuku." Says Soul.
"What kind?" Asks Izuku.
"The kind that will take you back there." Says Soul.
"You mean, my home dimension..."Says Izuku looking down as he says this.
"Hey I know that you're going to be fine kid, besides you'll be with you senpai Tenko Shimura, and his partner" Says Soul.
"Oh Tenko senpai and Dabi senpai, awesome!" Yells Izuku.
"Not only that Amai and all your friends are going too." Says Soul ruffling up Izuku's hair.
"Hehehehehe...so when do we leave?" Asks Izuku.
"Within a few hours, go and get your stuff and the girls, tell them you guys got a mission." Says Soul as he leaves Izuku to get ready.
When Izuku opens the door he sees that Remi, who is still taller than Izuku to fit her whole head on top of his, and still wearing camo clothing now with belts strapped across her ample chest, and was playing a first person military shooter, Mary who was still shorter than Izuku only coming to the top of his chestlooking though, was looking at gothic clothing while having her belts wrapped the same way as Remi but more loosely, and Bi braiding Mary's hair with her belts on her waist like Izuku but is actually her Obi sash keeping her clothing together.
"Girls we got a mission!" Says Izuku.
"Seriously where?" Asks Mary.
"...My home dimension." Says Izuku as all his weapons went to comfort Izuku.
"Hey I know that you don't like that place, it brought you down so hard, BUT STOP SCREWING AROUND AND STOP MOPING!!!" Yells Remi.
"Sorry, but get ready, we're going to be there for a while with Tenko, Amai, and the others." Says Izuku.
"Oh I wonder if Amai has any more goth items." Asks Mary.
Bi starts to shake a bit as Izuku then pulls her into a hug. "I know that this is going to be scary, but we have to make sure that they're not overrun with madness." Says Izuku.
"I-It's not that, it's...new people and if your quirk has this much effect on your soul." Says Bi.
"Yeah, but you guys are going to probably have to hold me back if we see him." Says Izuku.
"You mean that bully that you thought was your friend?" Says Remi.
"Yes."
"Na you and the rest going to be the one holding us back, because no one messes with our partner and gets away with it!" Yells Remi.
"You're forgetting something." Says Mary.
"And what's that Loli!" Yells Remi.
"You know what I'm talking about." Says Mary with a smirk.
"SHUT UP LOLI!!" Yells Remi as she tackles her to the ground, with Mary sticking out her tongue at Remi.
"ENOUGH!" Yells Izuku startling the three girls. "Sorry."
'God damn that was hot.' Think all the girls in unison.
"We're on a time crunch so let's go!"
When they get back to the DWMA with all three girls in their weapon forms on Izuku who has Remi in a side holster, Mary in her sheath, and Bi around his neck and arms. "Sorry we're late, Remi and Mary had another fight, don't know why Mary said she forgot something but eh." Says Izuku.
"I can think of what she forgot, but it's good to see you happy Izuku." Says Amai, daughter of Maka and Soul, with Amai being a combination with a scythe and a polearm axe, think LBX Joker's scythe from the LBX toy-line. Her Meister is Shine Star for Amai, Izuku's adopted sister who took more of her dad's nature and hair color but her mom's looks, and their friend Thorfin Strongarm, a brute of a guy physically, but is just a gentle giant, with his partner Colina Namitanchi-ki who transforms into a war hammer for Thorfin with lightning powers, yes it's kind of a Thor reference, and a giant hook with the ability to move water and earth.
"I-it's good to see you again Izuku." Says Thorfin.
"Hey um guys." Says Izuku.
"We know that we're going back to our home dimension Izuku." Says a voice startling the group.
"Oh it's just you Tenko senpai." Says Shine.
"Yeah, now come on, and you guys might want to make sure Izuku doesn't do anything stupid." Says Dabi waiting at the door to the school.
"It's because witches are involved isn't it?" Asks Amai.
"...Let's go." Says Izuku walking past the group and to the door worrying the others because of what the witches that captured Izuku put him through.
When the group arrived at the death room, they see that Kimial and her weapon Jacqueline was in the room with Lord Death.
"Uncle Death, Miss Diehl." Says Izuku trying not to sound cold to the witch meister.
"Hello Izuku, are you ready for this mission?" Asks Lord Death.
"Maybe...guys if I see someone from my past and freeze up, get me to a secluded spot and calm me down." Says Izuku looking at his friends and family.
"Ha don't worry bro, we'll get through this together." Says Shine as she wraps her arm around her adopted brother.
After Kimial activated the spell to bring them back to Izuku's world they're all on top of a building with no one else around to see them.
As Colina walks through the portal he takes a deep breath then looks out to Japan. "HELLO JAPAN THE MAN COLINA IS HERE!!!"
"Colina calm down." Says Thorfin.
"Yeah girl control your urges." Says Amai.
"...Japan, my home, it's not how I once saw it." Says Izuku looking over the peaceful city, but what the others can't see he can, the discrimination of the mutant and villainous quirks, the corruption of hero society, the pain of those with useless or no quirks, he felt and saw it all when just looking at the people passing by, he did not feel prideful for his home dimension, he was disturbed and disgusted by it, to the point that he felt he was getting sick just by looking at the hatred in people's hearts.
"Well we got a lot to do here just in Japan, I mean we could split up and cover more ground?" Asks Colina.
"No with heroes patrolling we're going to have to stick together, make sure that if one gets caught the others know and are able to pull the other out of their situation, recall points, hidden bases, we're playing this safe." Says Dabi while planting his foot onto the railing and looking ahead and seeing a familiar flame coming towards them. But we have to move now, there's one of those fakes coming."
"Which one, is he strong?" Asks Amai.
"Endeavor." Says Dabi as everyone got why he didn't like the situation at hand and leaped off the roof and made their way through the city streets, avoiding the popular areas and sticking to the shadows as they arrived at an abandoned schoolhouse in the middle of a forest.
"Man alright, so we're probably going to have to hunt for our own food, find a suitable water source, and find a way to be able to keep in contact with each other." Says Thorfin.
"Yep, but the problem is that we know next to nothing about patrol patterns, effectiveness, what rank they have, how powerful their strongest is, the power gaps, everything we know about hero society is past tense knowledge of some big name heroes and teams. Hell we know nothing about what prefecture we were in." Says Dabi looking out the window making sure that they weren't followed.
"That is if we didn't have the internet." Says Mary pointing at a computer that had power.
"That will maybe work, but we're going to have to use it on the dark web, that or any unofficial Vigilante sites, which are going to be next to impossible to find." Says Amai.
"Found one." Says Izuku raising his hand after some work on the computer.
"Damn forgot you work really fast." Says Colina.
"We're just that good." Say Remi rubbing the underside of her nose.
"And I just need to have your guy's phones and the tablets for a bit." Says Izuku as everyone handed him their tablets and phones as he hooks them up to this world's internet and hacks into cellphone towers to get cellular service for them for free. "And there we go."
"You sure they won't be able to track us on these?" Asks Thorfin.
"Even if they get a hold of it, we can remotely make it a brick that absorbs electricity and can't be accessed by anyone besides DWMA personnel, which they have to use their access codes and key words to even get to the login for it then they have to have a facial recognition followed by a padlock like code that they have to put in the number every meister knows." Says Izuku.
"...I forget how scary you can be with computers bro." Says Shine.
"You know as well as I do, that wasn't even my fastest time." Says Izuku.
"Now everyone will be in teams of two meisters and their weapons, Izuku and Shine will be one team while me and Thorfin will be the other team, remember if you find any big targets mark their most prominent locations and put them on the map." Says Tenko as Dabi turns into two gloves connected with a chain going around the back of Tenko.
"Hang on let me get changed." Says Izuku walking into the other room getting his mission clothes on with his belts now holding pouches with all sorts of items inside them, smoke bombs, flash grenadines, kunai, and tasteless and sentless food pellets. "Ready." As all the weapons turn into their weapon form Izuku stores Remi within the holster in his Shozoku, Mary within her sheath, and Bi around his arms and neck.
When the siblings were in another part of Japan they were on a rooftop when they heard a scream and looked down to see a man with a red bandana multiple knives, and a chipped Katana about to stab another pro. "Another fake to purge!" Yells the figure as he is about to deliver the killing stab it is stopped by Amai's scythe blade.
"Ugh I feel sorry for that blade." Says Shine as Izuku kicks Stain away. "I know you're a weapon fanatic but focus."
"Sorry bro, it's just that sword looks really poorly taken care of." Says Shine as she then blocks some knives coming at them by spinning Amai.
"Doesn't matter, protect this guy, I'll deal with him." Says Izuku perfectly timing the spin of Amai and walks through it. "Chizome Akaguro, you have taken far too many lives in needless violence, lord Death has sent us to end your rain of terror." Says Izuku brandishing Mary as she takes her Jūmonji yari form.
"You think that you can kill me? Who else will clean the streets of these fakes if I'm not around!!!" Says Stain.
"I know what you mean, but this is not the way to make peace, your death, will cause the stop of Kishin's influence on this world." Says Izuku.
"The Kishin?"
"An entity of chaos and madness, one that must be stopped, and you're the first step in the path of peace and harmony." Says Izuku.
"Well then, let's see what you got kid!" As Stain says this he rushes at Izuku with his katana in hand as Izuku expertly keeps him at bay with Mary, dodging the knives and blocking the Katana with ease, to the pro hero, it was like Izuku was dancing and Stain was a wild beast.
"I must say, you fighting style is mediocre at best, and sloppy at worst, I bet even a newbie meister would have no trouble reading your movements after one day with Professer Stein, and instantly kill you." Says Izuku knocking away Stain's sword, cutting the straps holding the knives causing them to hit the ground, and stabbing him in the heart.
When Stain looked to where he could see Izuku's eyes he did not see someone who was going to gloat about beating him, not revenge, not anger, but a sense of duty, sadness, and knowing the job is done as he dies he looks at Izuku one last time. "You remind me so much of my nephew, please promise me this, find him, and if he's dead, give him a proper burial." Says Stain.
"There is no need to, Uncle." Says Izuku quietly so only Stain could hear, and opens his visor, think how Den-O's climax form splits open Momotaros' faceplate, with his back towards the hero making Stain look fully at his killer.
"Wh-what have they done to you." Says Stain.
"Those who captured me replace my eyes and tongue with three different people, and did the same to the others that I shared body parts with now." Says Izuku with his mask still covering his face.
"...You're so much stronger than the last time I saw you, farewell my boy." Says Stain as he is turned into a soul and is grabbed by Izuku before the soul was eaten by Mary.
"Bro..."
"The hero's paralysis should be wearing off soon, we should go." Says Izuku with his visor hiding his face again as he turns to his sister and they both run away leaving the hero stunned.
When they get back to the base Izuku just goes to his room and collapses onto his bed, as his weapons help him out of his mission uniform and into some pajamas, with Mary looking at Izuku while holding the soul of his uncle.
"Mary, eat it, you were the one I used to kill him." Says Izuku as Mary nods and eats the soul somehow powering up as they all feel a new power enter Mary's soul through their fragments.
"What just happened?" Asks Mary.
"This power...it's Bloodcurdle." Says Izuku.
"What?" Asks Remi.
"My uncle's quirk, it's his quirk." Says Izuku.
"Do you think, that if we kill people's with quirks we'll get theirs?" Asks Bi.
"Maybe, but it's good to know that we have a secret weapon now." Says Izuku.
"...Ugh." Grunts Remi as she then pulls Izuku's head into her chest as Izuku begins to freak out because she never did this before.
"Finally, it took you long enough Yandere." Yells Mary as she hugs Izuku with her own arms and pulls Bi into the hug as well.
"I-uh-is-um-wha-h-you-"
"Izuku we know that you can feel it, and you've been ignoring it too, just let it out." Says Mary as the two other weapons of Izuku look at her like she's crazy as they feel Izuku go limp, and see he passed out. "Oh great he's passed out." Says Remi.
And that's where I'm leaving this chapter off on, how will I be able to replace Stain, well let's just say that, I WON'T BE SPOILING ANYTHING HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SEE YOU!
