So , I know I said no more stories ; but this is a practice fic . Its sole purpose is for me to rewrite other fics , to gain motivation to write them ( mainly CS and KUWA ) ; I hope you enjoy this short fic ; it will be uploaded whenever I have no muse but desire to write . It will not be a oneshot but rather a drabble of stories .
America thought over many things .
He was the number one country , he was everything the others could wish for ; he enthralled and blew fear into them , and they would always despise , loath him as well as sing his praise . He thought too much , in fact . He thought about red ribbons and clear blue skies , hamburgers when they were cooked without care , he thought about the dog he kept at home , of George , all alone , six feet deep , and he thought of nations too proud , so proud that they sometimes broke his heart .
He had let her lend his shirt ; she didn't have to return it , but South Korea did return it . The problem regarding South Korea was that she was obstinate , she did not want , did need , did not want help . She loved him , he knew that , idolized him ; it was back , back , back from the days of the Cold War that she had done so , but then refused to accept his hand . The IMF that had come crashing down had insured that . Forever .
South Korea loved him , but loved her countrymen more .
There had been numerous incidents in her territory ; a subway station burning , smoke clouding the air , a sinking vessel , a sinking ferry . A president who was incapable of running the country pulled down by the candles that lit the night air , and another who looked down on his countrymen occupying the seat of her ' leadership ' .
South Korea loved , and she hated . She was like the rose of sharon that bloomed in her land ; there was no place , no spot for another in her desolate heart , and as South Korea dreamed , America seethed ; because Lee Ha - Yeon was tied hand to foot , because she did not require a hero nor desire for one , Alfred F . Jones was left .
Alone .
Lonely , so , so lonely .
