Chapter 6: Wild West Hoedown

U.A. had reopened and Class 1-A were in their desks, well, most of them.

"Hey, where's Mineta?"

Kaminari asked.

"Don't know. That's weird. Do you think he quit after the USJ attack?"

Sero asked.

"It was a terrible experience. Perhaps he realized that this line of work wasn't for him. Not everyone can handle the dangers of being a hero."

Fumikage stated. While most of the class was discussing this, Izumi was thinking about Mineta. Sure, he was a perverted creep, but she didn't want him to quit his dream because of the attack. She was wondering where he was when the doors opened and to everyone's surprise, Aizawa walked in looking like a mummy.

"Good morning, class."

Everyone was too shocked to say anything until Asui spoke up.

"It's good to see you, sir, but should be teaching right now?"

"Yeah, don't you need more time to recover? No offense, but you look like a mummy."

Uraraka also asked.

"Recovery Girl went overboard in her treatments, and my condition is inconsequential to your studies. Now, we have some important things to discuss. First, has anyone seen or heard from Mineta?"

The class shook their heads. Aizawa let out a long sigh before he continued.

"I see."

"Did he quit sir?"

"At this point, that would be a preferred situation, Kaminari. At least we would know where he is. No. He's been missing since the day after the USJ attack. His parents have already filed a missing persons report and I was hoping one of you would have some clue to his whereabouts."

All the students were shocked to hear this before a wave of fear washed over them.

"No way. Was he kidnapped by the villains who escaped?"

"Does that mean we're next?"

"Oh dear."

The students began to panic until Aizawa got their attention.

"Enough! I know this is a troubling situation, but freaking out about it is not something heroes in training can afford to do. It would be best if you kept a level head at all times, especially during a crisis. Besides, we don't know if Mineta has been kidnapped. For all we know, he's just lost or hiding in fear because of the incident. So leave this to us and the police. We'll get to the bottom of this. Now for the next item on the agenda, the U.A. sports festival is approaching and you need to start preparing for it."

"Ah yeah! This is going to rock!"

Kirishima shouted.

"Is that such a good idea?"

"The villains can attack us once we're all in one place."

Jiro and Ojiro said in concern.

"The school board believes that having the sports festival soon after shows that the threat has been dealt with and the school is safer than ever. This isn't an event we can cancel because of a villain attack."

"But what about Mineta? He's been kidnapped."

"Oh? Do you have some concrete evidence of his kidnapping? Do you know who did it or where it happened? How about where Mineta is?"

Aizawa asked. Ojiro fidgeted in his seat a bit.

"No, but with the timing of his disappearance, you can't deny that it's a possibility."

"While that's true, we can't also deny the possibility that he's fine either. We have records that show he has done this before. Usually 'scouting' women's baths."

"Pervert!"

All the girls thought. In that moment all the concern they had for Mineta vanished.

"Besides, this is an important event for you all."

"He's right! This is where you get scouted by pro heroes!"

Yaoyorozu said.

"Oh yeah. Most students end up getting scouted by pro agencies where they end up working as sidekicks."

"Yeah, but most of them miss their shot at going indie and stay eternally sidekicks. In fact, that's probably where you're ending up Kaminari. You're kind of dumb."

"Man, why do you gotta be like that Jiro?"

"In the past, the Olympics was the most watched sports event. But then quirks came into existence. Now the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of viewership and scale. For anyone who cares about competition, the U.A. sports festival is a must-watch event. Pros from all over Japan and the world will be watching, so this is your chance to garner fame and popularity to aid you in your hero career. One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime. The U.A. sports festival is one of the most important events in your life. Make sure you're ready. Dismissed."

"Yes, sir!"

Aizawa left leaving the class to talk amongst themselves.

"I can't wait for the sports festival. I want to do something to stand out. Maybe a special cheer?"

"Yeah, or maybe a more noticeable outfit."

Ojiro quietly said while Hagakure was practicing her special cheer. Meanwhile, Izumi was still thinking about Mineta. She hoped that he was okay and this was another one of his 'scouting' expeditions. But what if it wasn't and he was in danger?

"Izu? Hey Izu."

Uraraka said, breaking Izumi out of her thoughts.

"Huh? Oh, what's up Uraraka?"

"We were just wondering if you were okay."

"Yes, you looked to be deep in thought. Is there something troubling you?"

Iida asked while doing robot chops.

"Well, it's Mineta. I just hope he's okay."

"Yeah, I'm concerned about his disappearance too, but there's nothing we can do."

"Uraraka's right Midoriya. We should leave this to the pros and the police. I'm sure they'll find him soon."

"I guess you're right. Thanks you two, I needed that."

Iida and Uraraka nodded at this. The class tried to leave but they were blocked in by the other students.

"What's going on? They're blocking the way out."

"Is there something you require of us?"

Uraraka and Iida said.

"You idiots. They're scouting the competition."

Bakugo said as he pushed past the rest of his classmates.

"We're the class that survived a villain attack. At least you all know what future heroes look like. Now move!"

"I heard they're were some pretty big egos in Class 1-A, but you just sound like an ass. Is every student of Class 1-A as rude as you, or are you the exception?"

A boy with messy purple hair said as he walked to the front of the group. Bakugo glared at him while the rest of the class made hand motions to say it was just Bakugo.

"Scouting out the competition? Maybe some of my peers are, but not me. I'm here to send a declaration of war."

"A declaration of war?"

Izumi asked. The purple-haired teen turned to Izumi.

"Hey, I recognize you. You're the girl that fought and killed the bird villain at the USJ."

All the students turned to Izumi who was rubbing the back of her head.

"Yeah, that's me."

The students stared at her in awe, fear, or a mix of both.

"You're quirk is pretty strong. But my declaration stays the same."

"Why send the declaration though?"

"The name's Shinso, from general studies. I wanted to be a hero too, but I didn't make the cut and was forced to stay in general studies. Such is life, but that doesn't mean it's the end. If any of us make a good impression at the sports festival, they can move us into the hero course. And of course, to move us in, they have to move some others out."

Class 1-A was stunned at hearing this.

"So I'm here to let you know, that if you don't bring your very best, I'll steal your spot from right under you."

"Wow, so intense."

Mina said with Hagakure and Jiro nodding with her.

"Tch, whatever you extras."

Bakugo said as he pushed past the students.

"Whoa, dude! You can't go calling people extras."

Kirishima said.

"How rude. How did someone like him get into the hero course."

Someone said. Everyone looked at the voice and saw three students. One was a female and the other two were males. The female had long, dark green hair and sharp teeth. One male had short blond hair, and the other had messy gray hair and sharp teeth as well.

"Um, who are you?"

Izumi asked.

"Oh, forgive us, we forgot to introduce ourselves. We're from Class 1-B, and we're here to make a declaration of war ourselves."

"Another declaration of war?"

"Yes, and to meet the young heroine who defeated the villain's strongest member."

"Oh, it was nothing. More luck than anything."

"Wow, you're humble. Unlike that jerk from before."

The female student said.

"He's not that bad. We didn't get your names by the way."

"Oh, I'm Setsuna Tokage."

The female of the group said.

"I'm Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu."

The gray-haired student said.

"And I'm Neito Monoma. A pleasure to meet you."

The blonde-haired teen said as he stretched out his hand to Izumi. She was about to shake it when Stella came out and stopped her.

"Don't do it, Izumi! I don't trust him."

All the students were shocked to see Stella

"What is that? A fairy?"

Setsuna asked.

"I'm part of Izumi's quirk and I know those eyes. You have an underhanded reason for wanting to shake Izumi's hand, right?"

Monoma just looked away, having been caught by Stella. But he tried to brush it off.

"No. I just wanted to shake the hand of the student who fought so valiantly against the villains. She truly demonstrated what it meant to be a hero."

Monoma appeared to be telling the truth, but Stella wasn't having it.

"Okay then. So you don't mind telling us about your quirk then?"

"Actually, I'm curious myself. What is your quirk?"

Izumi asked with a notebook in hand. Monoma began to sweat bullets. That's when Setsuna pulled him back towards their classroom.

"Forget about it Monoma, you've been caught. Just remember 1-A, we'll be doing all we can to win at the sports festival."

Setsuna said as she, Monoma, and Tetsutetsu walked back to their classroom. Soon all the students dispersed, letting Class 1-A leave for lunch.

Later, outside the school

A small group of reporters was outside the wall of U.A.. The reason? Vio Liettie. She and her crew were seen just waiting outside this specific wall of U.A., and they seemed to be waiting for something. Vio Liettie always seemed to be in the right place for a scoop, so some other reporters joined her. One reporter approached her to ask some questions.

"Excuse me."

"Hmm? Yes?"

"I'm just wondering why you're here Vio. You only show up when there's a story to be filmed. But I see nothing."

"Oh, just a hunch. The reporter's instinct, if you will."

"Reporter's instinct?"

"Yes, I had the feeling that something was going to happen today. Oh? It appears that I'm right."

Everyone turned to what she was looking at and was shocked by what they saw.

Inside U.A.

Class 1-A was in a training gym with Snipe and Aizawa.

"Okay, class. So to help prepare you for the sports festival, Snipe and I will be supervising you as you start the workout course."

The course appeared to be made to test all the abilities of the students in all categories. There was a long stretch where they had to run it as quickly as possible. Another part where they had to climb up and down three sets of walls. A part with tires that they had to maneuver without falling, and so on.

"Let's get started, the first group to run the course will be. Huh? What's that sound?"

Aizawa walked towards the wall where he heard the sound.

"Do you hear that?"

Snipe joined him.

"Yeah. It sounds like, running horses?"

"What are horses doing running in the streets? Is there a parade?"

Before anyone could answer the walls were blown open. Aizawa and Snipe were sent flying but were unharmed. The class looked to see who was attacking them when a bunch of purple people wearing western wear and riding purple horses rushed through the dust cloud.

"Yeehaw! You know the boss's orders, grab and bag the loot!"

One of the purple people shouted as he and the rest of his companions surrounded the students.

"What loot? What is he talking abooooOOOOUUUTT!?"

Yaoyorozu was asking when one of the purple men grabbed her with a lasso and tied her up.

"Got one!"

"Huh? Are we the loot?"

The students were on high alert now that they knew they were the targets. Izumi was about to ask Stella for a transformation, but she noticed the look of shock and fear on her face.

"Stella?"

"No. What's the Sour Bunch doing here?"

"The Sour Bunch?"

"I'll explain later! You need to, WHOA!"

One of the Sour Bunch members grabbed Stella.

"Nuh-uh. No transformations for you!"

"Stella!"

"Izumi!"

Izumi was about to charge One for All when a rope wrapped around her and pulled her towards one of the Sour Bunch. She struggled against her ropes while the one that caught Stella made sure to keep a firm grasp on her. The rest of the class was ready for a fight, but that's when they noticed something. It was only the girls who were captured.

"We got them all boss."

One of the Sour Bunch said.

"Good work fellas. We got all the loot."

The voice was distorted, but familiar. That's when the boss walked to the front of the Sour Bunch.

"No way."

Was all that Izumi could say as she saw the boss.

"Mineta!"

Everyone was shocked to see Mineta leading the group of villains. He was now wearing western wear as well and had large cow horns on his hat. He also had an insidious purple aura radiating off of him.

"What the hell? What do you think you're doing you grape-colored shit stain!?"

Bakugo shouted. Aizawa had just recovered and was asking himself the same thing.

"Taking what I rightfully deserve! I'm sick and tired of jerks like you getting all the girls just because you were lucky enough to be born with a powerful quirk. No more! Now I have the power to take what is mine."

Mineta answered back.

"Mineta! This is nothing more than kidnapping! Do you think this will end well for you?"

Aizawa asked, trying to get his student to see reason. But Mineta just laughed.

"As if any of you could do anything about it. The one who gave me this power is stronger than all of you! Even stronger than All Might! Why should I care about the 'consequences' when I have someone like that on my side?"

Aizawa was disappointed by this development. In the first week of school, not only had his class been attacked, but now one of them was a villain. This was a huge failure on his part as a teacher. He was getting ready for battle, but Snipe stopped him.

"You're still hurt Aizawa. Let me handle this."

Snipe pulled out his pistols and faced Mineta and Sour Bunch.

"Ha! Lookie here, we got a hero who wants a shootout. Well, let's give him one boys!"

The Sour Bunch took out pistols and began to fire. Snipe dodged and shot back. He managed to hit a few of them and noticed something strange. The ones he hit vanished in a puff of purple smoke.

"What the hell?"

Bakugo said in shock.

"It has to be a quirk. Whoever is working with Mineta made these criminals with a quirk."

Todoroki said as he got ready to fight. Bakugo had a grin as he heard this.

"So that means they're not human. That means we don't have to hold back then."

Bakugo threw himself at the Sour Bunch and started attacking them.

"Wait!"

Aizawa yelled, but it was too late. The more battle-prone members of his class were already fighting. He groaned as he made a mental note to scold those students later. Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Iida rushed forward to try and save their classmates while the others defended themselves. Mineta just watched as most of his minions were defeated.

"Ha! How'd you like that you purple shit stain! All you're purple bastards are dead!"

Bakugo cheered, but Mineta just laughed.

"Yeah, so what? The best part of quirk-made soldiers is that I can make more of them!"

Mineta raised his hands and purple portals appeared dropping in more Sour Bunch soldiers.

"Way to open your big mouth Bakugo."

"Shut the hell up sparky!"

Bakugo yelled at Kaminari. The Sour Bunch attacked, some with guns, others in close combat. The students and Snipe tried to fight back, but they were overwhelmed. Bakugo was one of the last ones standing and he saw the Sour Bunch member that had Stella. He knew Izumi was defenseless without her, so he attacked the minion that had her.

"Izumi!"

Stella shouted as she flew to Izumi. Bakugo was soon overwhelmed by the endless numbers of the Sour Bunch.

"Ha! Now it's time for you heroes to take a dirt nap!"

The Sour Bunch aimed their guns at Class 1-A and the teachers, but the walls on the other side were destroyed.

"I think not, because WE ARE HERE!"

All Might and the other teachers had arrived to help.

"Tch! I would've liked to grab Midnight as well. Whatever, it's getting too hot. We're heading back to the hideout boys."

Mineta shouted as he got onto his horse. The Sour Bunch members that had the girls followed him while the others stayed behind to fight the teachers. A large purple portal opened up and Mineta and his minions went through.

"Izumi!"

Stella shouted as she followed. All Might also gave chase but was held up by some Sour Bunch members. After he beat the members holding him off, he dashed to the portal that was closing.

"You will return our students!"

All Might shouted, but the portal closed before he reached it.

"NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

All Might shouted. That's when he noticed a flash of light and noticed the reporters watching.

"Vine-Fruit News exclusive! All Might has just failed to save his kidnapped students! All Might! Why did this happen? How did the villains get the best of you and U.A.?"

Vio Liettie asked as she reached her mic to All Might.

"Great. The media is here."

Present Mic groaned out.

"Why? The attack just happened. Did they know about it?"

Midnight asked.

"We can worry about that at another time. Right now we need to address the press and figure out how to save our students."

Nezu said. The teachers nodded and got to work. Meanwhile.

In a Western World

Mineta and his Sour Bunch had just come from a portal. The girls looked around and saw they were in the Old West. Or something like that, the world seemed to be a part of some set for a theatre. But they couldn't see any seats where they should be, just an endless void.

"Where are we!?"

Mina asked.

"Somewhere the heroes will never find us. Might as well get used to calling this place home. Heh heh heh."

A Sour Bunch member answered. The girls began to panic at this and struggle against their bindings. Mina tried her acid, but something was wrong.

"Don't bother, these ropes were made especially for each of you. None of you are getting out."

Another minion said. Mineta was at the front, happy with his haul. He motioned the minion that had Izumi over to him.

"Yeah, boss?"

"Hand her to me."

The minion nodded and handed Izumi over. Mineta had a lecherous smile as looked at his prize.

"Finally. You're all mine."

"Back off Mineta!"

"Grr, what the hell!? Is Bakugo the only one allowed to touch you?"

"Huh? Kacchan has never touched me!"

"Good, I'll be the first."

Mineta grabbed Izumi's chest and began to grope her. Izumi was flustered and enraged by this. She was about to use One for All to break her bindings when.

"Izumi!"

Everyone looked behind them to see Stella chasing after them in her horse form.

"Grr, get rid of that horse!"

Mineta yelled. While he was distracted, Izumi used One for All to break her bindings. Mineta turned, shocked by what Izumi did. Izumi then punched him in the face and stomped her foot into his groin. While he grabbed his crotch in pain, Izumi leaped off his horse and towards Stella.

"What the hell!? I thought she couldn't break free of her ropes."

"She shouldn't have, boss! She's supposed to be helpless without the power of Sparkle!"

One of the Sour Bunch answered. Izumi was concerned by this. How did they know about the power of Sparkle? She pushed these thoughts to the back of her mind for now. She still had to save her classmates and give Mineta the beating of a lifetime. As she landed on Stella, Izumi changed into her cowgirl outfit.

"Damn it! You know what? I don't want Izumi anymore. I think she'd look better under a tombstone!"

Mineta shouted.

"You heard the boss! Get rid of her!"

The Sour Bunch pulled out pistols and began to fire at Izumi. Izumi managed to dodge the bullets, but it was difficult because of the wagon Stella brought with her.

"What's the wagon for?"

"For the others Izumi! I can't carry all of you on my back."

"Oh, right."

Izumi closed in on the Sour Bunch despite their efforts to kill her. Once she was close enough, she pulled out her lasso to rescue one of her classmates, but which one? She thought about it and had an idea. She lassoed the minion who had Yaoyorozu and yanked him off of his horse. He vanished in a puff of purple smoke while Izumi lassoed Yaoyorozu and pulled her onto the wagon.

"Don't let her take back the loot! Split up, you morons!"

Mineta ordered. The minions nodded and separated into different paths with different elevations.

"Yaomomo, I need you to make me something!"

"Sure, what do you need Izu?"

"I need you to make me a pair of six-shooters."

"O-Okay. What kind of ammo do you want?"

"Don't need ammo."

Yaoyorozu was confused by Izumi's statement.

"Remember, I can play the part of whatever outfit I wear as long as I know the part, and have the right props."

Yaoyorozu realized what Izumi was getting at and nodded. She made six shooters from her quirk and gave them to Izumi. They glowed with bright light as Izumi twirled them around. She focused on two minions on the path above her who had Mina and Jiro with them. She aimed her guns and fired. Bullets of light came out and hit the two minions making them poof away. Mina and Jiro were falling when Izumi grabbed them with her lasso and brought them onto the wagon.

"Whoa! Thanks for the save Izu!"

"Yeah, thanks."

Mina and Jiro said. Izumi nodded and continued to chase after Mineta and the Sour Bunch. On the path below her was another minion that had Hagakure. He pulled out his pistol and fired at Izumi. She managed to avoid the bullets, but some hit the wagon.

"Crap!"

Jiro shouted.

"I got it!"

Yaoyorozu said as she made wooden planks from her body to patch up the holes. Izumi wound up her lasso and threw it at the minion, but it didn't hit him.

"Hah! You missed!"

"Wasn't aiming for ya."

Izumi said as she yanked up Hagakure.

"Hey!"

The minion shouted as a light bullet hit him in the head and made him vanish in a puff of smoke.

"Thanks, Izu!"

Hagakure said as Mina hugged her. Now all that was left was Uraraka and Asui. Mineta saw Izumi closing the distance and growled.

"Hand the girls to me and deal with the hero!"

"Right boss!"

The minions gave Uraraka and Asui to Mineta and joined two others to try and stop Izumi. Mineta sped off as the group reached a bridge.

"Get past this hero!"

The minions shot out planks from the bridge to try and stop Izumi.

"You can jump that right?"

Jiro asked.

"I can, but the wagon won't be able to follow. You all will fall."

The girls panicked at this.

"Don't worry, I can handle it."

Yaoyorozu made platforms from her body. Mina and Jiro threw the platforms on the holes made so Izumi could continue the chase.

"How you holding up Yaomomo?"

Izumi asked.

"I'm... fine... just... keep... going."

Yaoyorozu answered, but everyone could tell she was pushing her quirk to the limit now. She made Izumi's guns, planks to repair the damage done to the wagon, and finally the platforms. Her lipids had to be running low.

"Here."

Izumi threw a bag to Yaomomo. She opened up to see it was full of Izumi's cookies.

"I made those for everyone to eat after the training. Use it to replenish your lipids."

"Thanks."

Yaoyorozu said as she started to eat the cookies. Back with the chase, Izumi had caught up to the minions who shot the bridge.

"She just doesn't give up!"

One yelled as they all pulled out their pistols. Izumi was able to shoot two of them before they fired their guns, but the other two's bullets were heading straight at her.

"I don't think so!"

Mina threw a veil of acid at the bullets. Dissolving them before they reached Izumi.

"Thanks, Mina!"

Izumi said. Mina just gave a thumbs-up as Izumi shot the last two minions. They made it to a cave that Mineta had run into. Izumi got off with Stella transforming back to her normal form. The rest of the girls got off and followed Izumi into the cave, or at least they tried. They were stopped by a barrier that prevented them from entering, but let Izumi pass.

"What the heck!?"

"What is this!?"

Mina and Jiro said as they tried to make sense of what was stopping them. Stella then flew to Izumi's ear to whisper something.

"Izumi, this world is made by the power Darkle, the opposite of Sparkle. They can't enter because they don't have the power of Sparkle. We're the only ones that can save Uraraka, Asui, and Mineta."

"What!? Save Mineta?"

"He's being controlled by the power of Darkle. It influences negative emotions and makes the user obedient to the one who gave them this power."

"Do you know who it is?"

"I have an idea, but I want to make sure it's her first. We should save Mineta and your friends."

Izumi nodded and turned back to the girls.

"Don't worry, I'll save Uraraka and Asui. You all get back to the wagon and be ready to leave."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Yaomomo. Unless you have an idea how to break this barrier."

"No, I don't. What is it anyway?"

"I'll find out once I beat the snot out of Mineta. Be right back."

Izumi went deeper into the cave to find Mineta. She continued until she found a room that appeared to be a bar area. Izumi looked around and saw Uraraka and Asui tied up to some poles on a stage. However, they weren't wearing their hero outfits. Instead, they were wearing clothes that ladies who worked at Old Western brothels wore. She was about to go free them when Mineta landed in front of her.

"Not so fast Midoriya! Maybe I was too quick to want you six feet under. I have another brothel dress that matches the color of your hair."

Izumi scowled as she got ready to fight.

"Yeah, I'll die before I wear that!"

"I don't mind having a decorative corpse. You'll be both a trophy and a warning for those who oppose me!"

Mineta shouted as he fired his guns at Izumi. Izumi rolled out of the way and fired back. Mineta ducked behind a wall and a shoot-out between the two took place. The two fired off shots from behind cover while Uraraka and Asui watched. Mineta was thinking of a way to get Izumi to come out when he looked at his captives. He let out a sinister chuckle as he aimed at the girls. Izumi saw this and placed her foot on the table she was hiding behind. She charged fifteen percent of One for All into her leg and kicked the table at Mineta. Mineta's eyes widened as the table hit him in the face.

"Don't worry! I'll free you!"

Izumi said as she was about to run onto the stage.

"I won't let you!"

Mineta launched himself at Izumi using his quirk. He aimed the horns on his head at her while flying at high speeds. Izumi saw this and placed her arms in a crossguard to block the attack. Mineta hit Izumi and sent her flying into a wall.

"Izu!"

Uraraka and Asui yelled in concern. Izumi got up and seemed to be fine. But the attack made her drop the guns she had. Mineta smiled as he used pop-off to launch himself at Izumi again. She barely dodged the attack by rolling away.

"How is he so fast?"

"It's the power of Darkle Izumi. It increases all of his abilities."

Stella explained. Izumi grits her teeth and charges One for All into her body. Thanks to the boost she was able to avoid Mineta's bull rush attacks. This kept on going until Izumi threw her lasso at Mineta, but he sidestepped the attack.

"You missed Midoriya."

Mineta said with a smirk. But Izumi just chuckled confusing Mineta.

"Wasn't aiming for you."

She said as she pulled her lasso back. Mineta turned to see a barrel flying towards him. It hit him and sent him flying at Midoriya. She pulled back her fist and charged it with fifteen percent of One for All. She punched Mineta and sent him flying into a wall, but she wasn't done yet. While Mineta was dazed, she lassoed him and repeatedly slammed him into the walls, the floor, and even the ceiling.

"Wester Smash!"

She yelled over and over again as she continued to throw Mineta against the building. After a while, she released Mineta and caught her breath. She then freed Uraraka and Asui from their bindings.

"Izu! You saved us!"

Uraraka shouted as she hugged Izumi.

"That was amazing, ribbit."

Asui said with a smile.

"Yeah."

Izumi said while still catching her breath. Mineta let out a groan getting their attention. Uraraka and Asui had menacing glares as they approached him.

"Wait!"

Izumi shouted as she stopped them.

"It's not his fault! He was being mind-controlled. Someone made him do this."

"What!?"

"But who?"

Uraraka and Asui asked.

"How pathetic. Even after all the power I gave him, he gave such a pitiful performance."

Izumi, Uraraka, and Asui turned to see Madame Grape entering the cave.

"Grape!"

"That's Madame Grape Stella!"

The girls were confused by what was going on.

"Do you know her Stella?"

Izumi asked.

"Yeah, I had to face her before with the help of a friend. She tried to take over our theatre so she could turn our plays into tragedies."

Stella explained, anger evident in her voice. Madame Grape just laughed at Stella's anger.

"Tragedies are the most entertaining performances, Stella. Not that I expect someone like you to understand."

Stella just gritted her teeth in anger as Izumi got ready for a fight.

"Oh? It seems this girl has spunk. Sadly, it's not time for the climax yet. We still have a few acts to go, Izumi Midoriya. Now, Stella, if you followed me into this world, did Peach come as well?"

Madame Grape asked. But her question confused Stella.

"Huh? World? What do you mean?"

"What!? You don't know? ha ha ha, HA HA HA! That's hilarious! You don't know! How did you even get here then? Oh my, oh my! No wonder you're lending your power to Izumi. Peach isn't here! I was wondering why you would trade a first-rate actor like Peach for this third-rate understudy, and now it makes complete sense! I truly have nothing to fear!"

Everyone was shocked and confused by Madame Grape's words.

"What do you mean?"

Stella asked.

"Hmph! Why would I spoil the twist even more? You and Izumi have a detective outfit, right? Why don't you use your 'strike of intuition' to figure it out? In the meantime, I'll take back my gift."

Grape held out her staff and purple energy left Mineta and flew into the jewel at the top of the staff. Mineta groaned as he turned back to normal.

"Ugh, what happened? Why does my crotch hurt?"

Mineta asked as he regained his senses.

"Now I shall take my leave."

"Wait! Why did you target Mineta? Why target us?"

Izumi asked. Madame Grape just laughed at this.

"Don't you see? This is all part of my play. The perfect tragedy! And to see how strong you are. I was worried when I saw Stella lend you the power of Sparkle, but I was worried over nothing. You're no Princess Peach. You don't even compare to her. You're nothing more than a dim light compared to her radiance. But you still have a use. As the main star in my play. The tale of the tragic heroine, Izumi Midoriya! Mineta was just the prelude my dear. I have much more in store for you."

Madame Grape said as she left through her portal. After the portal closed the whole place began to shake.

"What's going on!?"

Uraraka asked.

"It was Grape's power that held this place together. Now that it's gone it's falling apart. We need to leave!"

Stella explained. Everyone understood and ran to the exit. When they left the cave, they saw that Yaoyorozu had improved the wagon with help from the others.

"Izumi! What's happening?"

Yaoyorozu asked.

"The place is falling apart. We need to leave, now!"

Izumi explained. Stella transformed into her horse form and Izumi hooked her to the wagon while Uraraka, Asui, and Mineta got in.

"You!"

Jiro shouted as she and the others were about to throttle Mineta. But Uraraka and Asui stopped them.

"He was being mind controlled. He's innocent."

"What!? Are you sure?"

Hagakure asked Uraraka.

"Yes. We saw the villain with our own eyes before she left."

Asui explained. The other girls decided to believe them but kept an eye on Mineta. While it was uncomfortable, he was glad they weren't going to kill him. Izumi saddled up and took off with Stella pulling the wagon. As they ran pieces of the world fell on them. But Izumi was able to maneuver around most of the debris. And what she couldn't dodge, she pulled out of the way with her lasso. Soon they saw the portal that had brought them into this world.

"We're almost there!"

Uraraka shouted. That's when they heard a train whistle. They turned to see a purple glowing train chasing them.

"What is that!?"

"It's catching up!"

Jiro and Hagakure said in fear.

"What do we do?"

Asui asked.

"Throw stuff at it! Just slow it down so we can escape!"

Stella explained. Yaoyorozu nodded and made a cannon and explosive ammo. With Jiro and Mina's help, she aimed it at the train. They managed to push it back with a few well-placed shots. They managed to buy Izumi enough time to make it to the portal.

Back at U.A.

The reporters were asking questions about the attack while Snipe, Aizawa, and the rest of Class 1-A were being treated by Recovery Girl. Suddenly a purple portal opened up and everyone got on guard.

"Yeehaw!"

Izumi shouted as she jumped out with the girls and Mineta in tow. The train chasing them crashed into the portal as it closed. The girls and Mineta breathed a sigh of relief as they were safe now. Aizawa was relieved to see his students were okay, but then he saw Mineta get out of the wagon and walked up to him.

"Mineta."

Aizawa said in a serious tone. The small boy turned in fear as Aizawa glared down at him.

"Do you mind explaining your actions?"

"Wait! It's not his fault! He was brainwashed. A villain made him do this."

Izumi explained.

"Breaking news! U.A. lets one of their students fall under the influence of a villain. With the recent attack, can we trust U.A. with the safety of our kids?"

Vio Liettie asked as she faced the camera. The press tried to get to the girls and Mineta to ask them about what happened. Luckily, the teachers were able to hold them at bay and took all of Class 1-A back to the main building.

"Midoriya, I'll need you to explain what happened."

"Yes, sensei."

Later, after school, Izumi was in the conference room with the teachers. She had explained everything that happened and how Mineta was brainwashed.

"Hmm, this does coincide with Mineta's testimony. It's good to know that our student didn't venture down the wrong path willingly."

Nezu said. Aizawa wasn't sure how to feel right now. On one hand, his student didn't turn evil and was forced to do these horrible acts. On the other, his student was targeted by a villain who could brainwash her victims.

"Still, with what we learned from Mineta, this Madame Grape has proven to be a serious threat who can turn our hero students against us."

"Just one bad day, and she could manipulate their hearts to her whims."

Midnight said. Everyone had concerned looks as this was a powerful quirk to watch out for.

"We need to check the quirk registry database. See if we could find a lead on this Madame Grape."

Vlad said.

"That won't work."

Everyone turned to Izumi.

"It's not a quirk."

"What do you mean? It has to be a quirk. There are no support items that can do this."

Snipe said with most of the teachers agreeing with him. The only one who didn't was All Might, who was in his skinny form. Nezu noticed this and wanted to know more.

"Please explain Midoriya."

"Well, to explain, I need to tell you something. The truth about my power."

All Might was shocked to hear this. Was she about to expose One for All!? But then he saw Stella fly out and knew what she meant.

"What do you mean Midoriya?"

Midnight asked.

"Let me explain."

Stella said getting the teachers' attention.

"Izumi's quirk registry states that her quirk is 'ShowTime' and that I'm part of it, but that's a lie. The truth is that I'm a separate being entirely. I'm what is known as a Sparkle Sprite and I grant the power of Sparkle to anyone I wish to aid."

"Sparkle?"

Cementoss asked, the other teachers were also confused by this revelation.

"It's what allows Izumi to transform. I can prove it, I just need a volunteer."

Wanting to see if it was true, Midnight got up and walked towards Stella. Stella spun around Midnight and she was now wearing the Might outfit.

"Now you have super strength. Go on, give it a try."

Midnight did that and lifted a bookshelf nearby. Everyone was shocked to see her lift it with no trouble at all.

"No way. Isn't that, like, really heavy?"

Present Mic asked with Aizawa nodding. Midnight put the bookshelf down and looked at her hands in awe. Stella undid the transformation and flew back to Izumi.

"That is the power of Sparkle. It is a magical power that is separate from quirks."

"I see. And why tell us this? What correlation does it have with Madame Grape?"

Nezu asked.

"While I have the power of Sparkle, Madame Grape has the power of Darkle. The polar opposite of my power."

Stella explained.

"I see, and does Darkle grant the same abilities as Sparkle?"

"In a way. While Izumi can freely change between outfits, Madame Grape can only give one role at a time. That's why Mineta was a cowboy while under her control."

"That's good to know. Are there any other differences?"

"Yes, the source of our powers. Sparkle is powered by emotions of light. Hope, happiness, love, laughter, etc. Darkle is powered by dark emotions. Anger, despair, hatred, sadness, and so on. It's why she targeted Mineta while he was at his lowest. It made him an easy target."

The teachers nodded in understanding.

"While this is a troubling development, we at least have an idea of our enemy's abilities and can plan for it."

"Yes, though this will be a first. How does one fight magic?"

"We'll find a way Cementoss. I just need to study it and I can come up with support gear to help."

Power Loader said.

"Good, now, before we leave for today, is there anything else you wish to tell us, Stella?"

Nezu asked. All the teachers turned to Stella for a response.

"Yes. When Izumi found me ten years ago, I thought I was ancient. That so many years had passed that the people had lost the power of Sparkle when quirks came into existence. But Grape has shown me the truth."

"How so?"

"When she confronted us in that world she made, she said I chased her into this world."

Everyone was shocked by her words.

"You mean to say, you're from another world?"

Midnight asked.

"Yes. I remember falling asleep in a chest after a big show at the Spakla theatre, and then I woke up to be greeted by Izumi. I was somehow brought into this world while Grape found a way to travel between them."

"That's mind-blowing. Quite hard to believe actually. But it would explain why your powers are so different from quirks. Do you have any idea how this happened?"

Nezu asked. But Stella just shook her head.

"I'm sorry. But I have no idea how I got here. As I said, I was asleep and woke up in this world of quirks."

"I see. Thank you for your help, Stella. I do hope you and Miss Midoriya will continue to aid us."

"Of course!"

Stella and Izumi said. Aizawa motioned for them to leave as they got all the info they needed for now. Once they were gone, everyone was silent as they pondered what to do next.

"So, how do we proceed now?"

Cementoss asked.

"For now, we work with the information we have. We have a foe with powerful magic that can turn our allies against us."

"And what about Izumi and Stella, Nezu?"

"We let young Midoriya continue her studies as a hero student and we allow Stella to aid her. From what they told us, Madame Grape will be targeting Midoriya so we must prepare her so she is ready to face the trials ahead."

Nezu answered Midnight.

"And what about this other world? It's a hard story to believe."

Vlad said.

"While it sounds implausible, I don't believe it's impossible. In fact, this world might explain the appearance of quirks."

Everyone was shocked by Nezu's words.

"What do you mean Nezu?"

"Tell me, Aizawa, with all of our quirk research, has anyone come close to explaining the origin of quirks? Where they came from, how they formed, or why they appeared? After listening to Stella's tale about magic, I believe this connection with the other world may have led to the birth of quirks."

Everyone just sat in silence at this. If this was true, then why did quirks form? Did this other world purposely give their world superpowers? Or was it an accident?

"Of course, it's just a theory. Unprovable until we find a connection to this other world."

"And how do we go about looking for it?"

Snipe asked.

"I'm not sure. For now, I suggest we focus on protecting our students. They have been targeted not once, but twice within a few days. I'm also going to suggest mandatory therapy sessions with Hound Dog for our students. If Madame Grape's power relies on negative emotions, then we need to make sure our students are mentally prepared for her attacks."

The rest of the teachers nodded at this. The night continued with them discussing how to handle this new threat.

And that's the end of the chapter. I hope you enjoyed it, please feel free to leave a review, and I hope you have a nice day.
