Chapter 20

Quarantine Ward, Hallway.

Tsunade came out of the room and looked around looking for O'neill's team, despite Quarantine Protocol's stating that any new lifeforms must remain in there rooms for 72 hours, however that rule was for a single lifeform and for First Contact, that rule no longer applies due to Kaguya's Invasion, instead they were to remain in the Ward with freedom to move about till the 72 hours was up.

As Tsunade wondered around the hallway she saw O'neill, his lieutenant and the Tok'ra Agent Isnew quickly she walked towards them hoping they might understand what Naruto and Ken are saying, walking past the alien doctors who wanted a talk with her.

"O'NEILL" She shouted getting his attention.

"Lady Tsunade how are the boys doing"

"The boys are wake and are speaking Ancient, please tell me you can understand that language" she said as O'neill took a moment process what she said.

"Ok... first thing first glad to hear the boys are awake, next how are they speaking Ancient the knowledge was removed from them and I'l..."

"I speak the Ancient Language sir" Before O'neill could finish his sentence his lieutenant spoke.

"Hailey go with Tsunade and help them translate and hopefully figure out why they are speaking it"

"Sir" She said as she went with Tsunade back to the boys room with everyone else following them, as they entered the room they saw the boys grabbing there heads in pain

"What happened" Tsunade said in a panic.

"We don't know they just started grabbing there heads for some reason" Kushina said as she tried her best to help Naruto who was looking away from the window as did Ken which Tsunade noticed.

"Jiraiya close the blinds now" Without question he closed the blinds which seemed to help Naruto and Ken a bit.

"Right Hailey your up" Hailey gave a nod and walked infront of there beds.

(Do you understand me) The boys hearing this nodded there heads, giving the people a sigh of relief now that they can understand them

(Ok... tell me whats wrong)

(I don't know my head feels like it's in a vice grip for some reason, my stomach hurts and everything is too loud and too bright) Naruto said.

(same here, for the love of god someone get me fetch me a raw egg, two shots of tabasco, salt, pepper and a god damn gun to shot myself)

Was the response from Ken which Hailey let out a small chuckle at it.

"What are they saying" Kushina said.

"It sounds like they are having a hangover or more accurately a headache"

"Hangover... the boys have been in a 3 day coma how are they having a hangover" Jiraiya said.

"Can they understand us" Kushina said but saw the boys look at her and nodding which a wave of relief to her.

"I think its more like they studied too much than a hangover sir, studying too hard and a hangover do have some of the same symptoms such as headaches, stomach pains and in some rare cases sensitive to light and sound"

Tsunade said getting attention from everyone in the room.

"From what Isnew said about what Kaguya did to the boys, they have been awake for nearly a week before she planted those devices in them"

"But those devices were removed, and you and... Orochimaru... healed them right" Kushina said.

"And then they went into that coma for 3 days, which I'm beginning to think it wasn't a coma but rather a very deep sleep instead to recover from that experience, so now that they are awake...

"They having to deal with the other side effects form that experience, but that dosen't explain why they are speaking Ancient" Jiraiya said as he planted his hand Ken shoulder with a smile failing to notice the heavy sigh from Tsunade who understood why they speaking Ancient and Isnew whispering something into O'neills ear who simple nodded

"Right folks lets give these some alone time for now... except you Hailey your translating for them"

O'neill said as he began moving people out of the room except Isnew, himself and Hailey before closing the door.

"Right then Isnew tell them" he said but saw the boys stiffening at the sight Isnew, well Naruto stiffened Ken was ready to attack but felt the firm grip from Jiraiya's hand which calmed him down a bit.

"Thank you Colonel, let me introduce myself to the boys my name is Isnew I'm a Tok'ra agent sent to figure out what Kaguya was doing and try to stop her and it was I who sent that message alerting both the Tau'ri and your people about Kaguya"

Naruto looked at Ken.

(Ken do you believe her)

(Well the Tok'ra have always been against the Gou'ald and it would explain why during the blackout she came to our console to install that crystal)

(True that would explain it and the replicator which would have the necessary capabilities to hack into the communications without...) Before Naruto could finish that sentence his head flashed images of computers and programming and he began speaking a list of computer programming subroutines.

"Naruto are you ok" Ksuhina said with worry as she Naruto grabbing his head again.

(Naruto how do you know so much about computers, your world just began to use them) Hailey said.

(I don't know I was just think about Isnew planting that crystal and then these images and words just started coming aaaaAAAA... there it is again)

While Naruto was grabbing his head Ken took a gamble on what might be happening to them.

(Naruto are you ok)

'What's happening to us... naruto was talking computer programming for a mo...' Images flashed through Ken's mind about computers before the he realized what was happening.

'No... the knowledge was gone but me and Naruto actually learnt something from it'

Looking at the adults in the room Ken realised that they will figure it quickly and the good chances that when he and Naruto will return home that they'll be confined to Konoha and used by the village for the Ancient knowledge now in the heads.

"Hailey what did Naruto say before the headache" O'neill asked.

"Naruto was talking about computers and subroutines sir"

"Then it's just as I feared"

Everyone turned there attention to the Tok'ra.

"The Knowledge was removed but due to them being young and having the knowledge for so long they actually managed to retain some of that knowledge, and considering Kaguya was having them fix the ships in her fleet"

"Oh shit the boys knows how to make Ancient ships" Jiraiya said getting a nod from Isnew.

"We have to keep this a secret, if our hosts find out about this there will be a good chance they'll keep the boys here"

O'neill said as Kushina grabbed hold of Naruto, Jiraiya looked at Ken and saw his face dropped, he knew that Ken was against the Shinobi life and yet Danzo forced him into it, when Ken manage to escape Danzo and taking Naruto with him through the Stargate to train him, it wasn't so that they be ready to be Shinobi, no it was so that they wouldn't be bullied or forced into it.

Naruto looked at Ken with worry as did Ken when he looked at Naruto.

(Is this... is this what it feels like when you don't have a choice) Naruto said getting a nod from Ken.

(Yes it does and that's why I wanted to train you so that you can defend yourself, so that you can make your own choices and make your own path in life and not the path others are forcing you in life)

Naruto smiled hearing this as ken got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

"Wait what did Ken say and where is he going" Ken turned around for a moment and spoke one word before entering the bathroom.

"Ken said he's going to the toilet and that he was training Naruto so that he can defend himself when he makes his choices in life" Hailey said getting a small smile from Jiraiya, Tsunade and Kushina but were a bit confused when Hailey said choices in life.

After Ken was finished with the toilet he washed his hands in the sink, thanking the nurses for leaving a foot stool so that he can properly reach the sink he looked in the mirror seeing his reflection.

Seeing his reflections brought only memories of what Danzo had done to him

Flashback.

Root Base., 6 months before Ken's first mission.

Ken was busy in his room dodging strikes from his 'Instructor' when the door opened revealing Danzo and two of his guards.

Ken's instructor stopped what he was doing and kneeled before him while Ken rested his back against the wall.

Danzo looked at Ken with disgust, his training was progressing nicely but his loyalty training wasn't going anywhere, so he decided another path to break Ken.

"No.13... (Ken looks at Danzo) it would appear that you have forgotten why you are here" Ken giving him a dirty look.

"What do you want Danzo, more secrets about the future or this world" Ken said as months ago Danzo had one of his Root Agents try to implant some loyalty into Ken's mind but instead found out that Ken was or more accurately his soul was from another world with knowledge about theirs.

"You are a tool nothing less, if you do not understand that meaning then you are of no use to me... 47 come forth"

A small child around the same age as ken comes from behind Danzo's back his pale skin and short straight black hair gets a reaction from Ken.

'Sai'

"47 kill no.13"

After a second Sai raced towards ken his blade already drawn to his side as he slashed at ken only for Ken to block it with his blade, quickly Sai raised his blade again and launched smaller faster strikes at Ken who quickly retreated from Sai and launched several bolts of lightening from his hand at Sai taking hits to his leg and arm from it as the other bolts proceeded to hit Danzo only for his guards to quickly put up a barrier protecting him.

Ken stopped where he was as Sai was on the ground as Ken was much faster than him, quickly he took out his brush, ink and scroll and quickly drew.

"Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll" From Sai's scroll 3 lions came out and went straight after Ken who began dodging them the best he could but was tired due to his training before Danzo came into the room.

Raising his blade he quickly slashed at one of the lions turing it back into ink and dodged the second one before blasting it with lightening quickly he turned around hoping to destroy the last but wasn't quick enough as it bite down hard on his arm holding the Tanto causing him to drop it, quckly before the lion could rip his arm off he fired another bolt at it destroying it.

Looking at his arm he saw it was not only bleeding badly but he couldn't move it as fast.

'Gotta to stop Sai before he send more... but how, Danzo will just send someone else, my illusions won't work I'm too exhausted and in pain'

"Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll" Ken hearing this saw 3 more lions coming after him, his options running low, he knew what Danzo was forcing him to do.

"aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Ken shouted as he flattened his hand working and channeled his lightening into it, quickly he rushed forward dodging the lions and before Sai could react he plunged his hand into Sai's chest his lions quickly turning back into ink.

Sai looked at Ken with wide eyes before looking at his chest Ken's arm was already elbow deep in him as he felt sparks of lightening hitting his back told him it was the end of him, before the darkness could claim him he looked at Ken one last time and smiled before Ken who had a look of absolute horror on his face drew his arm from Sai who collasped on the ground.

Danzo seeing what happened simple smiled knowing full well that killing for the first time could break a person and he was hoping for that, hoping for Ken to break as it would allow him to mold Ken into his own tool ready to use against Minato.

"Take the body away" His Root guard quickly took Sai's body from the room.

"Listen well 13, you area a tool and nothing more if you cannot accept that then I will have no choice but to put you back in your grave"

He said as he walked out of the room leaving Ken alone, the moment the door was closed before Ken collasped on the ground crying his eyes out.

"Sai... I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry"

Flashback End.

Ken left the bathroom and saw everyone looking at the screen like something was happenening.

(What did I miss) Naruto looked at Ken.

(Some alien is telling the whole Galaxy what just happened)

Ken walked in front of the T.V his eyes completely wide as he recongised the Alien.

'Holy shit it's an Asari... holy shit I'm in Mass Effect (face slapping himself) ooohhhh shit Reapers... why can't I catcha break'

Ken ignored the this and went back to bed and placed a pillow over his heard, Tsunade seeing went over in worry.

"Ken are you ok" She said but saw only tear that fell from his face before using the pillow to close himself off from everyone.
