Once the sky turned dark, Jay, Carlos, Evie and I changed into Isle worthy outfits. I swear, Evie made these yesterday because I have never seen these clothes in my life. I wore a black leather skirt, a black tube top, red ankle boots and a cropped red leather jacket with a broken heart stitched into it with black thread. "I feel so weird in all this leather." I commented, following my friends down the stairs to where a limo was waiting for us. "I'm so used to the comfy clothes now."

"Well, we only have to wear this for a couple of hours then we'll be back before dinner tomorrow." Evie stated.

"Who has the keys?" Jay called, hurrying to the limo door.

"I do." A voice said from behind us. I turned my heel and saw Ben hurrying down the stairs.

"Ben!" I exclaimed.

"I'm not coming with you." Ben assured. He tossed the keys to Jay who scrambled to start the limo. "But I just had to see you before you left."

"You're so sweet." I whispered. I reached up and cupped Ben's cheeks. "But Ben, you need to promise me something, ok?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"If...if we're on the Isle for more than twenty-four hours...you need to come save us. We…" I shut my eyes. "The Isle was a horrible, horrible place. Please, I can't...I can't be trapped there again, none of us can."

"Of course." Ben said. I opened my eyes and smiled at him. I pulled Ben down, and we shared a loving kiss before a voice cut through the dark.

"Shotgun!" Dude shouted.

"No, dude, stay." Carlos ordered. "The Isle is way too dangerous."

"Did he just…" Jay trailed off.

"Talk? Yeah, I know, I'll tell you later."

"We'll be back as soon as we can." I said to Ben. "Ok?"

"Ok."

"Love you!" I pecked Ben's lips before I hopped into the limo. Jay got into the driver's seat and started the limo.

"Ok. Once we cross the bridge, park under the pier in the old garage." Evie told Jay. "Got it?" Evie then rounded on me. "You know what you just did, right?"

"No, what?"

"You just told Ben you loved him." I blinked.

"Oh...oh...yeah, I did." I realised. My eyes widened. "Oh Gods." I pressed my hands to my eyes. "Yeah, this is gonna bite me later." As we drove, I turned to the window and watched the scenery roll past under the pale moonlight. The sprawling landscapes of Auradon soon turned to water as the Limo drove over the golden bridge. We soon came to a stop on the Isle. When we hopped out, we covered the limo with a couple of tarps. "It feels so weird being back." I muttered, crossing my arms as I stepped away from the covered limo.

"We'll get Mal and get back." Jay said.

"That all depends if Mal even wants to come back."

"Hey, guys, keep it chill, all right?" Carlos said. "Last thing we need is our parents figuring out we're here."

"Ok, split up." I ordered as the four of us gathered. "Go to her usual haunts. Carlos, Dragon Hall, Jay, Main Street, Evie, hideout. I'll head to Curl Up and Dye. If Mal did come back, she'd need a new do and that's the best place to get hair done. Meet back up in the Hideout in an hour, no more, no less." Everyone nodded, and then we dispersed.
