"Well, I call to order the first war meeting of the…What are we?" I stopped talking as I realized that our little alliance didn't even have a name, everyone just looking at each other before Uncle Zeus spoke up.
"What if we call it Dóxa tou Olýmpou(Glory of Olympus)?" He provided before grumbling as everyone just rolled their eyes.
"What about Utopia?" Azazel chimed in, everyone looking in thought as Michael smiled at the answer.
"The perfect world. A paradise that all dream about and long for." He said, Azazel smirking as he nodded while Odin let out a chuckle.
"I'm in agreement. We are currently trying to create the perfect world so Utopia is quite the perfect name indeed."
"I'm fine with it." Buddha said with a shrug, the other gods nodding in agreement as Theo smiled and nodded.
"Then, I call to order the first meeting of the Utopian Alliance. First order of business is that we must decide the chain of command and before anyone ask, I'm not accepting myself as a candidate. I have too much work already." I spoke up before anyone could, the other leaders looking amused as Azazel shrugged.
"I'll put my name forward, but I'm certain most of you won't vote for me." Azazel said with a smirk, chuckling as everyone nodded in agreement.
"At least you're conscious of it. So, who else is putting their names in or are we stuck with the lazy pervert as our top leader?"
"I'll put mine forward/ The same here./ Sure, it might be more fun now that my eternal rival is gone." Uncle Zeus, Buddha and Ra answered respectively as they raised their hands, Yasaka nodding as she wrote their names down while I blinked as I turned to glance at Odin and Jade.
The elderly men noticed my look and Odin snorted in amusement as the Jade Emperor chuckled & shook his head.
"We're not putting our names forward. I've been in too many wars to have the energy for another one."
"Same here. Fighting that idiot Wukong for a century straight was not good for this old man's bones."
"I was the one who had to finish the fight and seal him away for a millennia." Buddha interrupted the Jade Emperor with a frown, making the old man snort as he nodded.
"Yes, after I tore away his tail, his staff and forced him to use up most of his qi."
"Still was the one who beat him." Buddha grumbled, everyone smirking as the Jade Emperor just rolled his eyes before Yasaka cleared her throat as she nodded at the list.
"So, we have a perverted leader, another perverted leader, a man that is far too playful to be taken seriously and a lazy old man."
"Eh, I'll put my name forward too. It gets bored having to fuck hundreds of women on a daily basis." Dagda spoke up with a smirk, everyone just staring at him before Yasaka spoke up.
"So, like I said, two perverted leaders, a playful man and a lazy old man."
"…What about Sirzechs Lucifer?" I asked, everyone blinking at that before Azazel sighed and shook his head.
"Normally, I would agree with you, but most of our subordinates will rebel if we put a devil in charge since it is a devil that started this war and killed hundreds of thousands of their friends and family."
"Then, what about me?" Shiva spoke up with a hand raised, making me blink before I turned to the others.
"Everyone in objection to it? Other than Zeus?" I asked, smirking as Uncle Zeus just lowered his hand with a grumble while the others glanced at each other before shrugging.
"It works for me. I've known him the longest and while a bit too destructive, he's a good leader." Odin spoke up with a smirk and everyone blinked at his answer.
"Thank you? I feel like I should punch you." Shiva said with an unsure frown, Odin chuckling as he gave a thumbs-up.
"Well, if he trusts him, then I will." Uncle Zeus muttered with a frown, everyone rolling their eyes before I smiled as everyone agreed with Azazel's words.
"Then, as of today, I appoint Lord Shiva the Great Seraph as ruler of the Utopian Alliance. Now, the next order of the meeting is to divide everyone into the different divisions that will be needed for the war and this is why I didn't want this position." I spoke with a smirk, enjoying Shiva's groan as the other leaders burst out laughing.
"So, we firstly have the Analytics and Magic-Specialists Division."
"Yeah, that's about everything." I nodded as I stared at the new change of command, copies of the page appearing in front of everyone as they all read through it.
"The First Division: The Analytics and Magic-Specialist Division, with Lord Azazel as its commander. The Second Division: The Espionage and Ambush Division, with myself as its commander. The Third Division: The Close-Ranged Fighters Division, with Lord Buddha as its commander. The Fourth Division: The Demolitions Division, with Lord Zeus as its commander. The Fifth Division: The Sensory Division, with Lord Ra as its commander. Finally, the Sixth Division: The Medical Division, with Lady Amaterasu as its commander. Additionally, Lord Odin, Lord Michael, Lord Jade Emperor and Lord Lucifer has been appointed as Ruler Shiva's second-in-commands with command over the Intelligence Division. Does that appease what everyone wanted?"
"I'll be in charge of drinks." Lord Dagda said with a raised hand and I snorted as Shiva smirked.
"Nope. I'm putting you in charge of Sensory along with Lord Ra. With his Heavenly Eagle Sight, your Nature's Presence and the sensory abilities of your division, no enemy would even get close to our headquarters. Speaking of which, is this our HQ?" He asked as he turned to me, to which I blinked before shrugging.
"It's quite all right. The people here might be a bit cold towards you all and your respective soldiers, but they will help you if needed."
"Good! Now, my first order is to get a list of every soldier under your command, from the lowest foot soldier to the highest commander that you could trust with your life. Then, I want a full list of your supplies, such as food rations, equipment that your armies use and-!" Shiva was cut off by the door bursting open, the clueless man who burst through quickly freezing in his tracks as jade-like crystals froze his feet to the ground while a blazing spear of solar energy nearly pierced his skull if not for a sheet of black ice made from Cocytus' waters barely stopping it.
"Soldier! Knock first!" I exclaimed as I stood up and walked towards him, Lord Jade and Ra deactivating their spells and giving the man a chance to breath.
"M-My…a-apologies, m-my Lords…a-a-and Ladies. I-…I have urgent news…from Heaven."
"What happened?!" Michael asked/ ordered as he stood up, the messenger taking a deep breath before our eyes widened at his next words.
"12 000 Evil Dragons and 54 000 High-Class devils have destroyed the Gates of Heaven and are currently laying siege to the First Floor!"
"Where in Father's name is Michael when you need him?!" A rather tall man with a large muscular build and luscious brown locks growled as he gripped the open jaws of a giant dragon with purple scales.
Scoffing at the deep purple glow in the back of the dragon's throat, the dragon's roar was cut off by a wheezing screech as the man opened his mouth and unleashed a pillar of pure golden flames that turned its throat to ashes.
"Hello, Uriel! How goes this section?!" A handsome blonde man exclaimed as he landed on the ground next to the tall man, spinning his sword and unleashing a flurry of invisible air blades that cleaved right through the few dozen devils that ascended from above.
"What do you think, Raphael?!" Uriel growled before gripping the air besides him, the invisible devil in his grasp choking before they let out a wheezing scream as golden flames burned them to cinders.
"Brothers! Is everything okay here?!" A breathtaking & voluptuous lady asked in concern as she landed next to them while retracting her ten golden wings, Raphael rolling his eyes at his sister's concern while Uriel snorted.
"No need to worry, Gabriel. The beasts have lost their common sense if they thought Heaven wouldn't be this protected."
"Lord Uriel! Section 1-D has been cleansed of the filthy sinners!" A four-winged angel exclaimed as he landed with a salute, Uriel grinning as he nodded before his eyes widened as a horrifying presence was felt all across the golden clouds that was Level 1 of Heaven.
Swiftly spinning on his heel, Uriel faintly heard Gabriel's gasp of shock and horror as hundreds upon hundreds of deceased souls were devoured by a monstrous dragon, two of its heads breathing out torrents of black flames & violet beams of energy as the third head roared loudly while eating anyone close to it.
"I thought Azi Dahaka was sealed away." Raphael muttered in horror as he watched the beast rampaging before he felt himself growing faint as three more Azi Dahaka tore through the clouds of Level 1, each of the nine heads roaring as loudly as the others before his head snapped to the Gates of Heaven.
A growl escaped his lips at the sight of a giggling Rizevim skipping through the ruined Gates, an army of dragons and devils following after him before he quickly reached out as Uriel unleashed a guttural roar.
"Wrath is a sin, brother! Do not act upon it!" Gabriel shouted as she watched her brother's wings flashing between gold and black, the Great Seraph growling as he turned to glare at them before taking a deep shaky breath as he nodded.
"A-Apologies for my behaviour, brother, sister."
"It's all right, brother. I understand how you feel, but losing yourself to your rage is never good."
"Yes, brother. Now, let us show these fiends how Heaven responds to threats to its inhabitants." Uriel grinned and Raphael let out a low chuckle as he nodded, instantly dispersing the clouds in their path as they bulldozed towards the main threats.
Watching as one of the Azi Dahaka noticed them, Uriel pulled his fist back to unleash a flash of golden holy flames only to smirk as a trident of golden holy water pierced through its side & pushed it out of the way.
"You two go take of Rizevim! The rest of the angels and I will take care of them!" Gabriel shouted as a sea of holy water burst out from the clouds below them and rained down from the ones above them.
Raphael and Uriel nodded as they weaved and dove around the Azi Dahaka that tried to stop their advance, a wall of water blocking off the cursed flames that Azi Dahaka blew out.
"Ah! My uncles! How have you all been?!" Rizevim waved with a happy smile before unleashing a burst of demonic energy that surrounded him in a bubble just as a blazing golden sphere crashed into it.
A manic cackle escaped Rizevim's lips as he snapped his fingers, his demonic energy pulsing outwards and repelling the holy sun before he raised a hand covered in demonic energy and caught the blade dowsed in holy energy.
Raphael growled as he tried to push his blade further, making Rizevim frown slightly for the first time before he smirked and ducked his head, Uriel's fist making the air on his neck quake as he missed his hook.
"Not too bad, Uncles!" Rizevim exclaimed with a grin as he pushed Raphael away, leaping and flipping away from Uriel's axe-kick before he grunted as a whip made out of golden water wrapped around his neck.
Gabriel frowned as Rizevim broke out with a burst of demonic energy, but smiled as that was enough for her brothers to reorient themselves, Uriel growling as he burst forward while raising a battle-axe made out of holy flames high above his head.
A growl escaped Rizevim's lips as an abundance of demonic energy flooded his limbs and caught the axe by the blade, but that was a diversion as Uriel grinned while Rizevim gave a silent gasp.
Shakily looking down at the golden aura-coated blade sticking out from his chest, a cackle escaped his lips just as Uriel spun his axe above his head and decapitated him.
"That was too easy." Raphael spoke with a frown as he ripped his sword out, a flurry of golden aura-coated winds disintegrating the corpse as Uriel nodded while catching the decaying head of Rizevim.
"Good job, Uncles! But this was just a clone. It's wonderful what you can do with the Holy Grail and no limitations." Their eyes widened as Rizevim let out one final cackle before his head fully turned to nothingness, the two Seraphs quickly looking up as a devastating explosion rocked the entirety of Heaven.
"The Sacred Tree!" Raphael exclaimed as he felt his connection to it being severed, quickly unfurling his ten golden wings and blasting through the floors as Uriel tried to follow after only to growl as he saw Gabriel struggling with the last of the four Azi Dahaka clones.
'Damnit! Where the fuck is Michael?!'
Raphael was a blur as he tore through the floors of every floor of Heaven, reaching the Fourth Floor in the blink of an eye before his very own widened at the sight of another Rizevim holding two golden apples in his grasp.
However, he felt nothing but distraught and devastating sadness as the Sacred Tree of Eden burned down, cursed purple flames hungrily devouring its decaying form while the Tree of Life was completely vaporized with only its stump still in the ground.
"Father, forgive me for I have sinned." The entirety of the Fourth Heaven trembled with fear and Rizevim reeled back as a destructive holy aura slammed into him, the apples in his grasp greedily eating up the energy as Raphael's body distorted and grew in size.
Twelve golden wings converged and merged into six bright wings of silver light. The top two wings folded over to cover his face, the lower two covering his feet while the middle two spread out wide and were coated in hurricane-like winds of golden light.
Silver flames wrapped around his wrists while a crown made of golden winds formed on top of Raphael's head, six eyes wide open and glaring balefully at Rizevim as the air around him twisted and churned with holy energy.
"Ne, ne, ne i a tabaan almighty; a saga caosg i full c tia busd.(Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory .)"
"Well…this isn't good." Rizevim spoke with a smirk as he watched Raphael floating closer before letting out a shrug as he sent the two apples into a pocket dimension.
"I would love to fight you, Uncle, but unfortunately I have somewhere else to be. Toodleloo~!"
"Gnay ge angelard g trian leave kures.(Do not think that you will leave here with your soul.)"Raphael howled in Enochian as he flapped his two middle wings, Rizevim smirking at the rather monstrous hurricane of holy golden aura trying to hit him before he slicked his hair back.
All twelve of his wings unfurled as his iris turned golden and his sclera turned pitch black, clenching his left fist before swinging it forward.
The world slowed down before the ground in front of him was vaporized in an instant, Raphael's eyes widening behind his wings as his holy hurricane was disintegrated by a giant beam of gold-black unholy energy before it was stopped just moments before it could impact him.
"Like I said, fighting you would be fun, but I need to be somewhere." And with a wave, Rizevim disappeared in a silver flash as Raphael slowly floated back to the ground, transforming back into his human form before falling to his knees just as Uriel and Gabriel burst through the hole he had left behind in the ground.
"W-What?" Uriel whispered softly as he stared at the destroyed Tree of Life and Sacred Tree of Eden, Gabriel rushing over to her brother and hugging him tightly as Raphael just shook his head.
"We lost, brother. We lost."
"Man, do you ever think that perhaps we're working for the wrong guys here?" A brown-haired young man asked with a frown as he looked down sadly at the crowds of people protesting and waving around flags & signs while he and a group of guardsmen were held afloat in the air by their bat-like leather wings.
"Two things, rookie. Firstly, none of us care for that thought as we make enough money to live lavishly. Secondly, don't say something like that if you want to still be alive tomorrow." A middle-aged man with shoulder-length grey hair spoke as he glanced at the young man, who sighed as he nodded.
"I know, sir. It's just…I've always had this dream of joining the Rating Games when I was just twenty years old and now I find out that my chances of making it big would have been slim to none because I don't have special blood in my veins."
"Welcome to life, little man. We have black coffee in the mornings and sleeping pills at night." A few of the other guards joked, making him smirk as their leader snorted.
"Enough of your stupid shit and start acting like a guard of House Agares."
"Yes, sir!" They all saluted, making the leader shake his head with a sigh as he looked back at the island that they were guarding.
Even when he has been guarding it for the past millennia, the island of Agreas was as majestic to Lyonel as it has been the first time he saw it on his first day of being one of its many guards.
A massive resort sat on a large island, a dozen or so large rivers flowing throughout the island with the ends of them falling down to the lake below it while the water from the lake was filtered & diverted back up giant pipes into the rivers once more.
However, the reason it had so many guards was because of the smaller island attached by a golden bridge to the main island, where hundreds of guards that he's known for centuries all guarding the Government Office.
Not only was it the office for the Satan Beelzebub, who was currently in Lilith, but it was also the place where all air flow in the Underworld was controlled from and it was thus one of the most important places for all of Devilkind.
"Oh, so they shifted it from Lilith to here. I was wondering why the air was fresher here compared to the other places in the Underworld. Thanks for that bit of info." Lyonel's eyes widened as he spun around before he froze at the sight of a smirking Rizevim in front of him, not even caring for the hundreds of giant pitch-black dragons tearing apart his team & screaming civilians on the ground.
"INTRU-!" Lyonel was cut off by a sharp pain in his body, his eyes flickering down to see nothing but air keeping his head afloat before his vision went white as Rizevim dismissed his silver magic crest & lowered his hand.
Looking up at the giant island floating as well as the army rushing down towards him, Rizevim grinned as he snapped his fingers, the army stopping as a monstrous silver crest in between them and Rizevim.
There was only a moment of silence as the army hesitated before all hell broke loose as hundreds upon hundreds of numerous dragons tore through the crest, a loud alarm blaring on Agreas as all of the dragons charged towards it.
Rizevim was in bliss as he watched his clones of Apophis, Azi Dahaka, Nidhoggr and Yamata no Orochi tearing through the devils whilst knowing that the same thing was happening throughout the rest of the world.
'Now…for Armageddon.'
