She was growing impatient.
Junko had been made, from Nanno's blood, just as she had. So why had he not come to her? Like he had with her?
Junko was becoming increasingly frustrating. She thought to control the girl, cause havoc but this girl was hard to control. She didn't follow direction well, and the way she caught her looking at her, was she sizing up her competition.
She played the fool, the older sister role. But she knew what she was calculating. Is this what Nanno had seen in herself.
Nanno. She had seen no evidence of her survival. She was paranoid, of course. She continued to jump from school to school, causing war amongst students with her new prodigy. There was no sign of Nanno. So why did he not come to her? To congratulate her?
'What are you thinking about?' Junko had been watching her, battle with her internal thoughts.
Yuri smiled at her, a fake smile she had gotten rather good at using. 'I was wondering why he hasn't shown himself to you yet.
'Ah yes. Your beloved demon man.' Junko scoffed to herself.
Yuri felt her smile falter, her eye twitched in annoyance of the girl.
'He is The Demon. Our creator, Satan himself. Perhaps he does not visit you because you have not shown your worth.' Yuri noticed a dark look from Junko at her statement.
'Or perhaps he isn't interested. You told me he asked you to dispose of Nanno. You couldn't do it without me, perhaps he's lost interest, disappointed in you.' Junko smiled manically at her as she spoke.
Yuri lost her smile, a dark look crossing between the two girls. 'He will come. Just you wait. Satan will not forsake me.'
With her last statement, she left Junko, it was time for her to rest. Locking the door behind her as she did so, untrusting of Junko.
Sleep took over her, slowly but surely she felt her exhaustion take over, until she was fast asleep, falling into a familiar feeling she had once felt before.
