It had reached midnight.
Harry was in the castle with Tracey running around, firing off spells to Death Eaters. Sending them crumbling to the ground.
But those were the minor ones.
There was three people missing. Namely Ron and Hermione.
The two hadn't shown up at all. And now the battle had started.
The other one was Voldemort, but Harry knew he was waiting for him to fight himself
A crack appeared in the hallway Harry and Tracey were in, and Neo appeared.
"Not too late am I?" He asked tiredly
"Not at all, help us out!" Harry exclaimed as he ran off with Tracey at his heel
"Who is that?" Tracey asked
"The guy who helped me train and get two of the Horcruxes, Neo Blizzard, apparently he was in school when our parents were" Harry explained
"I'll tell more after the battle" Neo responded as he came across a group of death eaters and muttered "Tenebris Glacies" which froze over the group in dark ice
"What was that?" Harry asked in amazement
"Family spell. Can't explain further" Neo responded "you two go on ahead, I'll take care of the Death Eaters" he was starting to get backed up down the hallway. Towards the Great Hall
Harry and Tracey rushed down to the Great Hall and threw the invisibility cloak over themselves
They went in and found the real battle.
Bellatrix holding out against Daphne, Luna, and Susan Bones, but just barely.
She shot a killing curse towards Daphne and it flew barely by her. With a growl, Tracey jumped out from under the cloak and started taking on Bellatrix alongside Daphne and the two other girls
The snake was right there. Right in the middle of the hall. Waiting to strike on someone unsuspecting. And all of a sudden, Fred went down to an unsuspecting Cutting curse.
The other brothers of Fred all went rampant on the death eaters around them.
Maiming and wounding all of them majorly.
And right at the front of the hall was Voldemort, taking on McGonagall, Kinglsey and Flitwick all at once. And holding his own
Neo was being held against the wall by Death Eaters, but he was standing his ground, using nonstop ice and wind spells… for some reason.
Blaise, Neville, Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnegan were fighting against Lucius Malfoy and Draco and Draco's cronies
And all of a sudden, the snake fell, Voldemort cried out in slight pain due to one of his Horcruxes gone. However, what he didn't know… was that all his Horcruxes were gone.
Harry threw the Invisibility Cloak off and revealed himself to be holding his wand which had shot the killing curse to the snake.
"Potter… so you finally show yourself" Voldemort growled as everyone backed off…
"We meet again Riddle, and don't worry about your Horcruxes" Harry said in Parseltongue
"How would you know about those? I am immortal you fool" Voldemort responded
"Childish much Riddle? Slytherin's Locket, Ravenclaw's Diadem, Hufflepuff's Cup, your diary, the Snake, and Gaunt's ring?" Harry whispered back
"Y-You know!? Well I have years of experience on you Potter, but it's the end for you here" Voldemort responded as he readied the Elder Wand
"It's over Riddle" Harry concluded and held up his own wand and muttered the words "Avada Kedavra"
Voldemort did the same thing.
The two green beams collided and clashed in the middle of the hall, for all to see.
The beams crackled and roared with life.
And one started shifting towards the opponent faster and faster.
Harry's spell hit Voldemort square in the head, and Voldemort started screaming in pain.
"P-Potter D-Don-Don't forget… It is n-never, truly… the end"
As he screamed, all the darkness left his body slowly. As the curse took its effect and killed Voldemort, and the body returned to look like an aged Tom Riddle's.
Harry walked over and took the Elder Wand, being the owner of it since he had disarmed Draco.
Harry collapsed softly as he reached Tracey who was sitting down.
It was finally over. The battle was won.
Harry saw one last thing before he fully blacked out. A red beam that hit him head on. And the person it came from, Ron Weasley
While Harry was knocked out by Ron, chaos ensued
Death Eaters tried making a run for it. All students tried to find their parents. It was a mess… a total and utter mess
"Quiet Everyone Please!" McGonagall cast a sonorous charm on herself
Aurors ran after the death eaters as everyone else sat down
Of course no one saw Ron Weasley cast a stunner at Harry.
Tracey held Harry in her lap, stroking his hair softly, and caring for him.
"It has come to my attention, that we have won this war, but there is much to be done in repair, i ask you all help with this task, and I shall have the Seventh years come back for one more year of schooling. And the regular schooling will resume at the same time in September" McGonagall started
Neo silently cast a disappearing and cleaning charm on Tom Riddle's body. Sending it who knows where…
Meanwhile in The Sea:
Fish were hit by a human body.
Back at the Castle:
"Since Headmaster Snape is gone, I will take his place, also leaving the Transfiguration Professor position open." McGonagall continued
"That is all, I hope to see you all next year" She finished
Many people went to mourn their dead relatives/Friends and perform a funeral for them ASAP.
Harry slowly opened his eyes…
"Ughh… did we win Tracey?" He groaned
"We did win, Harry" Tracey softly replied and kissed his cheek
"Wait what happened to Remus and Tonks! Last I remember they came to fight!" Harry exclaimed as he sat up quickly
"I'm sorry Mr Potter, but they've… moved onto a better place… and in an honorable way at that…" Neo trailed off
Harry looked down…
Remus may not have been the most agreeable person, but he was the last member of the Marauders who were alive… and now they were no more thanks to Remus' efforts against the Death Eaters
Tonks, Harry hadn't known for too long, but her bubbly and cheery personality was something he'd miss for sure… but that left… Teddy… his Godson…
The boy had no parents so it was down to Harry to care for him…
Harry slowly realized this as he looked down
"Kreacher?" Harry questioned as the Elf appeared
"What be Master Harry needing from Kreacher?" Kreacher responded as he appeared
"Bring Teddy Lupin to me please?" Harry asked
"Kreacher shall do as Master Harry wishes" Kreacher responded
"I thought Kreacher didn't listen to you?" Tracey asked in confusion
"Once I destroyed the locket and gained the Black Lordship, he pledged his allegiance to me" Harry answered as Kreacher appeared with the small boy in his arms and handed him to Harry
"That explains it… Teddy looks so cute!" Tracey cooed over the baby
Harry held Teddy in his arms carefully and looked down at him, smiling. He was going to take care of Teddy the best he could, no matter what.
Across the room Neo was talking with McGonagall
"Mr Blizzard, it's a pleasure to see you again" McGonagall greeted
"Anytime Professor. It's good to see everyone again… not in this circumstances of course, I'd rather it be a regular reunion" Neo sighed
"As we all must wish… On another note, I want you to teach again." McGonagall stated
"Professor… I wasn't the best at Transfiguration… and I don't really want anything to do with DADA… there's no need for me to teach" Neo responded, shocked at the offer
"I don't mean those two positions Mr Blizzard, for DADA, I plan on bringing One of my old students, and for Transfiguration, I will teach along with being the headmaster. But on another note… I plan on bringing back classes like Alchemy, Dueling, Flying, and others" McGonagall offered "I want you to teach Dueling as you once did"
"I'll Gladly accept that offer, Professor. Thank you very much" Neo smiled
"I'm glad, now I have to get to the headmaster's office…" McGonagall trailed off as she walked away briskly
Back to Harry
He looked at Tracey and whispered "I'll be at Grimmauld Place if you need me… I just want to be alone right now"
Tracey nodded in response and softly kissed his cheek "I'm just a Floo Call away if you need anything"
Harry nodded as he held Teddy and apparated back to Grimmauld Place.
"Where is he now?" Ron growled
"For your information Weasley, he isn't here" Tracey responded
"Well he has to be here to pay for getting Fred and My Dad killed!" Ron growled
"Weasley, just because it's Harry's job to defeat the ultimate evil, doesn't mean he's the cause of all the bad in the war" Tracey tried reasoning
"He had to save EVERYONE! But he couldn't! He's not a true hero!" Ron shouted
Tracey stood up and looked Ron dead in the eye "If you think that's a hero's job, try being a hero then" she glared at him
"Fine then, I will! Hermione, come on!" Ron exclaimed as he stormed out of the hall with Hermione on his tail… but also the entire Weasley family and a few members of the DA following them.
Tracey huffed as she sat down again and put her face in her hands.
"Did I do the right thing Daph?" Tracey asked
"Tracey… he was being a pillock, like Malfoy, I'd say you did the best thing by telling him off" Daphne patted her back
"And if anything, he's also become more of an arsehole since Fourth Year. And where'd Harry go?" Blaise asked
"It's not my place to tell… Harry needs his space" Tracey sighed and blushed, remembering that she kissed his cheek right before he left
Somewhere else:
Harry set Teddy down in his crib and he laid on the bed. Remembering the kiss Tracey gave him… he softly touched that cheek in happiness. He blushed softly…
Back to Hogwarts:
Almost everyone was now gone. Only Harry's small group of friends remained.
"So what do we do now?" Dean Thomas asked
"We just wait… for when Harry wants to talk again. He needs space. Let him have it" Tracey scowled
Everyone sighed, but agreed hesitantly.
