"Matt?... Matt! What's wrong?!" Asked Karen

"I don't know... I just hear screams." Matt said.

"Foggy?... FOGGY! WHAT"S GOING ON?!" Matt shouted.

Nothing but silence both Foggy and Karen were both gone. As Matt watched the entire streets filled with silence. people crying. screaming, moaning. He ponders himself as if he's losing his mind. The only place he could go to was Clinton Church. He knocks on the door. He lays down into the staircase.

"Mother, help me."

and then he disappeared and reappeared he didn't know what happened to him? Or what the hell was going on? His face was filled with panic.

-Cue Daredevil Intro-

Wilson Fisk begins speaking on the phone "Ah, the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. I must say it is a pleasure to hear your voice."

"Cut the pleasantries, Fisk what do you want?" Asked Daredevil.

Wilson smiles and says, "I wanted to discuss our little arrangement."

"There's nothing to discuss, I won't let you terrorize this city." Said Daredevil

"Terrorize? I think you mean reorganize. Besides, we both know you're not in a position to stop me." Wilson remarked.

"I'll find a way." Daredevil said.

"Oh, I'm sure you will. But let's not forget our mutual friend. I believe you know Vanessa."

"You leave her out of this." Daredevil maintaining a steady tone.

"She's sick, Daredevil. She has cancer." Said Wilkson maintaining his composure.

Daredevil is shocked.

"You can't hide from this Fisk. She needs your strength." Daredevil suggested.

"But if you can do me a favor Mr. Murdock." asked Fisk.

"And what is it?" Daredevil questions

"I want you to become my deputy, Mayor." Fisk answered.

Daredevil pauses then say, "sign me up."

Courtroom next day...

She addresses the judge and jury in front of a crowded courtroom, Kirsten McDuffie maintains a steady tone.

"We're here today, ladies and gentlemen of the court, to talk about Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, and his absence. Mr. Castle is well-known for his vigilante actions in the name of pursuing justice, making him a contentious character. But he's entitled to due process by law, no matter what one thinks of his methods."

She stops and looks around the room with a fixed gaze.

"There are grave worries over Mr. Castle's abrupt disappearance. We have to find out where he is and whether he is okay. Not only does his absence impact him personally, but it also raises concerns about the stability of our legal system. The law should not exempt anyone. However, no one should be denied the rights that are granted by it."

McDuffie draws in a breath and speaks again, her words full of conviction.

"We are pleading any anyone who has knowledge about Mr. Castle's whereabouts to come forward. This is about more than just one man; it's about maintaining the values of justice and making sure that everyone is treated fairly-"

The courtroom quiets as she wraps up her remarks, leaving a cloud of her words hovering over the proceedings. Kirsten McDuffie believes that this lawsuit is about more than simply the law; it's about sticking up for what's right, especially when the issue at hand is as contentious as Frank Castle.

As Kirsten speaks, the courtroom door creaks open, and Matt Murdock, dressed in his lawyer attire, rushes in, his expression one of urgency.

Matt Murdock begins to speak "Your Honor, my apologies for my tardiness. I have been unavoidably detained."

The judge frowns slightly, but motions for Matt to proceed.

Judge says "Mr. Murdock, you are aware that this is crucial especially in this courtroom. Please ensure it does not happen again."

Matt says "Of course, Your Honor."

Kirsten shoots Matt a disapproving glance before returning her focus to the case at hand.

Kirsten McDuffie says "As I was saying, Your Honor, Mr. Castle's disappearance is troubling, and we must act swiftly to uncover the truth. We cannot allow vigilantes to vanish without a trace, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions."

The judge nods solemnly, indicating his agreement with Kirsten's statement.

Judge says "Very well, Ms. McDuffie. We will convene again tomorrow to further discuss the matter and determine the appropriate course of action. Court adjourned."

As the courtroom empties, Kirsten approaches Matt, her expression one of irritation.

Kirsten McDuffie says "Matt, do you have any idea how important this case is?"

Matt says "I understand, Kirsten. I apologize for my lateness, but I had pressing matters to attend to."

Kirsten says "Well, next time, try to prioritize your responsibilities. We have a job to do here."

With that, Kirsten storms off, leaving Matt.

Flashback

Mother Maggie kneels in prayer, her son Matthew Murdock beside her. She finishes her prayer with a solemn "Amen," and Matthew crosses himself.

Matt softly speaks "Five years... has it been?"

Sister Maggie nods "Indeed. You won't believe what the kids are calling it "the blip." I laugh every time I hear them mention it."

Matt reflects silently, then speaks.

Matt says, "Thank you."

He leaves the church, heading back to the bar where he, Foggy, and Karen were gathered.

Karen gasps "Matt!"

She rushes to hug him, followed by Foggy.

Karen now tearfully "We thought we lost you." She spoke.

Matt embraces them both, then begins to explain what has happened during his absence.

Now...

"Get away from me man!" Said Turk who's being hunted by someone.

The lone figure jump scares him in front of him.

"You have some information, Turk." Said the figure.

"I-I thought you supposed to be the good guy here." Said Turk

"As of right now, I work for Wilson Fisk." Said the lone figure.

The lone figure is revealed to be Daredevil.
