Bonne Leceture~~~ My friends welcome back to the second chapter of Kohime Saber and this time Kotaro will finally be transforming.

Not only that but we will also be introducing the great rinrin, as well as the Megid.

So with that said, let's do this.

Opening: Almighty from Kamen rider saber

Past

Third-person P.O.V.

"Gah!" We hear as an armoured warrior was knocked to the ground of a burning village before quickly kneeling back up.

The warrior's armour consisted of a black and white bodysuit with a white torso and leg armour, his left arm was black with a long red stripe going down the arm and leg, his right arm was completely red and decorated with a dragon head on his shoulder. His helmet was split red, white and black just like the rest of the armour, with a sword blade in the middle, and the front of the mask decorated with that same X shape with yellow eyes.

In his hand was a silver blade with a red flame-like hilt that had an x symbol on it much like his helmet and going down it the blades was coloured red with an unknown language. His belt looked like a scabbard with an open book inside with the picture of a dragon.

This was Saber, the knight of flames.

All around him were the petrified statues of his fellow swordsman, their weapons in the ground and mechanical books much like Kotaro's scattered all around him.

"How… did it come to this…why… would you two betray us like this," he said, looking up to see five people looking up at him.

Three of the people were wearing red cloaks, though one of them was holding on to an open book and behind them was a large purple vortex.

Next to them, we're two armoured warriors, one which looked orange with a phoenix theme while the other was purple and had a dark dragon theme.

The phoenix warriors armour consisted of an orange and black bodysuit with a black torso as well as arm and legs armour which also had an orange feather design going down it.

On his shoulder was an orange phoenix and his helmet looked like an orange explosion with black spikes going up the head. His sword looked similar to the other ones except it was orange and black. He had a similar belt with a book that had a picture of a phoenix on it, this was falchion, the knight of ash.

The dark dragon-themed warrior looked similar to Saber except for a couple of details like the white being replace with purple as well as in the arms and the red lines being replaced with gold. He also had a black trenchcoat and a black dragon on his shoulder with a visor and silver armour chest. His helmet was purple with a silver visor with red lines and a golden sword coming from his helmet, his sword looking similar to his helmet. This was Caliber, the knight of darkness.

"Why did we betray you?" Falchion said, brandishing his sword "How about this, if you survive this we'll tell you".

The two riders then dashed towards Saber as he moved back up and readied his sword.

Caliber moved in first, swinging his sword at Saber who blocked the attack with his blade however this left him open for Falchion's attack knocking him back.

Saber then continued battling against the swordsmen blocking each strike with his sword but it was clear he was being overwhelmed.

He then looked over and saw one of the dropped weapons of allies, which looked yellow instead of red.

He then picked up the blade before continuing to battle the two rider's blocking each strike with a sword of his own.

As the fight wages on, we see a monster on the roof of one of the burning buildings as he leaned back on the destroyed roof.

He had a mostly black body with two wolf heads on his shoulders, a red and black face with sharp teeth a long red scarf and a black sword next to him.

"Yare yare daze, so much negative energy" he sighed, leaning back while sitting down as he watched the three warriors fighting.

Saber then returned his sword into the belt before quickly pulling it out causing it to flash with bright red energy.

KAEN! JUJIZAN

He then slashed into the air twice, forming two flaming x's before he sent them towards the two riders.

However, they just reflected the attacks with their blades, causing the slashes to bounce back at Saber knocking him back as the book flew out of his driver returning him to normal.

Falchion then picked up the fallen Brave Dragon book "Thank you, this will be very useful" he said, as the other pulled out several other books.

"No….NO!" He declared, gripping his blade as he began running towards Falchion.

"Nani!" He said, as Falchion moved in and raised his blade

The red sword began blowing bright as the warrior swung his blades towards Falchion who's own blade was glowing.

When the two blades clashed a giant explosion of light engulfed the air, the two warriors being tucked up into the while blades dissolved into energy much to the surprise of the hooded figure and Caliber.

9 years later

Third-person P.O.V.

"Finally" Kotaro yelled, as he tiredly collapsed onto the ground sweating a lot as Kan'u crouched down towards the young author.

"Are you okay Rekka-sama?" she asked, as Kotaro looked up at her.

"We've been walking… for… hours…" he groaned, tired and barely able to move anymore.

"W-We haven't been walking for that long," she said, as Kotaro looked up "IT'S BEEN 24 HOURS!".

"Well we're here now, so that's all that matters," she said, as Kotaro gazed at the village in the distance.

The village looked like the usual old Chinese village you'd see in games or from documentaries but it was still surreal to see it in person.

The pair then made their way towards the village, seeing the main gates in the distance.

As they got closer to the village, the pair found what looked like a large rock with Chinese characters carved onto it with flowers and incense set in front.

"A…Shrine" Kotaro blinked, as Kan'u looked down with a frown.

"It is a memorial for those struck down by bandits…" she said, making Kotaro looked down "Oh…".

The two then proceeded to pay their respects before continuing their way towards the village.

'Whoa… this is the past' Kotaro thought, as they walked through the Chinese village seeing the people living their life normally.

"Surprisingly, even a place like this can be plagued by the bandits…" she then gripped her hand looking down "What does the Magistrate think he's doing".

Kotaro looked at his travelling companion, never seeing her as serious as she was now.

"Kan'u…" he mumbled, about to say something but then…

"There they are!" An enraged voice roared as if someone had stolen from him.

"Bandits!" Kan'u said, running ahead much to Kotaro's surprise.

"Kan'u! Wait!" He said, following her but then suddenly a chicken flanked the two.

"What the!" Kotaro jumped, falling as Kan'u moved back.

"GO! GO! GO!" A group of kids screamed, holding several eggs and potatoes as they road a group of pigs.

"Let's go! You've just been struck by the legendary RinRin Bandits!" The leader of the group yelled as they ran all over Kotaro causing mud and dirt to cover his clothes.

The leader wore a yellow jacket with a black top underneath with a red scarf around her neck. She wore black gloves which ran to her elbows with red leather gloves on top.

She even wore what looked like black bike shorts with two leather belts around her waist. Lastly, her feet weren't protected by shoes or sandals, but she simply wore some kind of material like her top and shorts which left her toes and heels exposed.

She waved a stick around like some cavalry leader with her she had red hair which was short and framed her face, only tamed by a tiger-shaped hair ornament.

"Rekka-sama!" Kan'u gasped, checking the boy's body before looking over at the kids.

"K-Kids…" Kotaro said, looking up as Kan'u sighed "They're just playing. I thought it was real bandits".

As they watched the kids running off, they then heard several footsteps.

They looked over to see the Magistrate, the leader of the town, who was covered in dirt and mud "Damn it, where are those little brats" the Magistrate growled before noticing Kan'u and Kotaro.

"You two! Have you seen a group of little brats causing a commotion!" He said, as Kotaro slowly got back up.

"Oh yeah, they went that way," he said, pointing the complete opposite direction of where the kids went.

"Good, those little brats are gonna pay for making a mockery of me!" He declared as he left along with the group of guards.

"Of course, the Magistrate only cares about money" Kan'u sighed, shaking her head as Kotaro sweatdropped.

"Come on, how about we go look for somewhere to stay" he suggested, as Kan'u agreed and they began walking through the town to find an Inn.

Inn

Third-person P.O.V.

"Oh so you saw RinRin and the little ones," The owner of the inn said, as Kotaro and Kan'u sat in the restaurant of the place "So they are at it again huh?".

"Just who are those kids! And why would they even dare to call themselves bandits" Kan'u stated, as the hostess smiled.

"Oh they're just kids, they're just playing their harmless little pranks" she smiled "Oh you should've seen the drawing of the Magistrate they drew on the side of his house, he was so mad".

"Has this been going on for a while?" Kotaro asked as she nodded.

"Oh yes, for a few years now but nobody knows where the kid's hideout is so the Magistrate hasn't been able to punish them" she explained.

"I'm guessing this Magistrate guy isn't the most popular guy in town," he asked, as the owner growled.

"Of course not! All he cares about is taxing us! He doesn't even care about helping any of the townspeople's problems" she growled, as the two sweatdropped.

"What about the kid's parents? I would assume they wouldn't want their children to be playing pranks like that" Kan'u asked, as she looked down.

"Well… the parents of most of the members are fine with it…" she said, as I blinked "Most?".

"The leader… RinRin's parents… are dead" she explained, surprising us.

"They were killed by bandits when she was small." She explained, "Her grandfather took her in and raised her out in the forest, but he eventually passed away too so now she has no one".

Kotaro was honestly shocked at this 'I knew bandits were bad but to have stripped a little girl of her parents… and to have lost her grandfather as well…' He thought.

An image of a younger Kotaro standing in front of two caskets as his grandfather stood behind him flashed before his eyes, as he gripped his hand.

Kan'u looked at her master, honestly worried at the look he was making.

"So anyway, are you two staying in town for long," she asked, but Kan'u shook her head.

"No, we just need to stay here for the night" she explained, as the owner nodded.

"Hmm, and I can guess you're gonna be needing some new clothes as well," the owner said, as she gazed at Kotaro's dirtied and muddied clothes.

"My son's gone to study in the capital so if you want, you can have some of his old clothes" she suggested, as Kotaro smiled.

"Really thanks" he smiled.

"Although, we only have one bed left I'm sure that's fine for a married couple such as yourselves," she said, making the two blush brightly.

"WE ARE NOT MARRIED!" They screamed, at the same time.

Bedroom

Third-person P.O.V.

We see Kotaro sitting on the bed as Kan'u slept next to him, a pillow blocking the two from each other.

The hostess wasn't lying about there only being one bed left, so Kotaro offered to sleep on the floor but Kan'u wouldn't have the messenger of heaven sleep on the floor.

The two eventually came to a compromise of sharing the bed, though very reluctantly.

However, Kotaro seemed to not be able to sleep, as he looked at the mechanical book in his hand.

'This day has been so hectic and strange, who was that guy that brought me here… what do I even have to do as the messenger of heaven… and how am I meant to get back home he thought.

He sighed, before getting up and walking towards a desk in the room before pulling out a few things from his bag mainly a notebook and a pen.

"Guess I'll spend my time writing my experience's here" he mumbled, but as he wrote in his notebook his thoughts began to shift to what he had learned earlier today.

'And that girl… I can't believe she lost so much especially at such a young age he thought, before looking over at Kan'u 'I wonder if Kan'u had a similar experience…'.

He then shook his head before continuing to work.

The next day

Kotaro P.O.V.

The next morning, after having our breakfast, me and Kan'u had decided to go out and look for work.

The owner of the Inn had given me her son's extra clothes, and I gotta admit they were pretty comfortable.

I was currently wearing a black jacket over my cleaned blue shirt with black baggy pants and a brown belt around it. The look was complete with my black hat on my head.

"So you these kinds of jobs often Kan'u?" Kotaro asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"A travelling warrior such as myself needs to do whatever is needed to survive" she explained.

"If I needed to work in exchange for shelter or food then I will do so If I happen to run into some bandits and capture them to claim a bounty, then I'll do so" she explained, as I nodded.

"Guess that makes sense, but it's pretty different from where I'm from," I said, looking around.

"What is the land of heaven like? Rekka" she said, as I blinked.

"Oh uh well, that's kind of a long story," I said, about to explain when we started hearing a commotion.

We looked over to see the Magistrate now cleaned up in front of a large group of soldiers.

The Magistrate was a hefty looking man with a magenta coloured suit and was balding with blonde hair on the back and a blonde moustache.

"Listen up all of you!" the magistrate snapped. "Even if she is a brat, that stupid drawing was too much! She may be small, but she's crafty so don't let your guard down, and I'll pay any of you as much money as you want for the one to bring her in!" he said, as the soldiers looked awkward or worried

We were both concerned about what was happening until we heard some comments from the other passerby's.

"The magistrate is going to send out soldiers to arrest Rinrin," One person said, "How lower can he get" the other civilian sighed.

"Why would he dare to arrest a child," Kan'u said, shocked as I gripped my hand.

"We volunteer!" I declared, surprising everyone around us even Kan'u.

"Rekka-sama," she said, shocked as I turned to her "Just trust me".

"Who said that! Step forward" he stated, as I walked forward "What is your name".

"My name is Kotaro Rekka, I'm a travelling Novelist trying who wants to see the world" I stated "I heard you are having trouble with Rinrin. It would make trouble for you if you had sent so many guards to go down there, so I would like to go down to at least speak with her and see if I can get her to apologise".

"You?" The Magistrate stated, with a raised eyebrow "You look like a weak and feeble person, how do I know you'd be able to handle her strength".

"I may not have a weapon like your soldiers, but I have something a little bit better," he said, lifting the mechanical book before pressing the button.

Brave Dragon!

This caused several people to gasp in both confusion and shock, as I slowly opened the book slightly causing a stream of fire to shoot out of the book shocking them even more, I then quickly closed the book so the dragon would not come out.

I then walked towards the Magistrate with an innocent smile on my face, as he had fallen with a scared shitless look on his face "So, do I have the job?".

"Y-Y-Y-Yes! Yes, you have the job! And you can have whatever money you want for it" he said, as I smiled.

"Then we have a deal," I said, before turning back to Kan'u.

"So shall we start going," I asked, as she nodded and we started heading toward's where the kids were.

Forest

Kotaro P.O.V.

"Rekka-Sama, are you planning on using your beast to attack those children," Kan'u asked, as I looked at her.

"Huh? Oh no, I was just trying to intimidate the Magistrate so he would give me the job" I explained, as we walked through the forest "It was pretty funny to see his reaction though" I smiled.

"I'd have to agree with that" Kan'u smiled, before quickly changing to a serious look "Let's hope those kids don't cause a fuss".

"Yeah, I'd have to agree- GAH!" I yelled as I noticed a rock flying towards me as I quickly moved out of the way before falling.

"Rekka-Sama!" She said, before looking up to see a young boy on a large tree with a pile of rocks in his hands.

"This road belongs to the Rinrin Bandits! Leave now!" he declared, tossing more rocks at us.

"Hey! Stop that right now! It's Dangerous" Kan'u said, knocking the rocks away with her spear.

"No way! I'm not gonna let you arrest our boss! Especially by some nerd and an old lady!" He cried, tossing more rocks.

"That's not what we want to do! Please just hear us out" Kotaro said, as Kan'u readied her weapon.

"I have had just about enough of this!" She said, leaping into the air before using her weapon to cut down the tree causing him to fall.

"AH! I'M GONNA FALL! I'M GONNA FALL!" he screamed, shocking me but he was quickly caught by Kan'u.

"I'm saved" he sighed, with relief not noticing the face Kan'u was making.

"Oh no you're not," she said, her face is covered by her hair as one red light was shown.

"I think it's time for a little punishment," she said, as the boy screamed in terror.

10 minutes later.

"GOOD! BOYS! DON'T! THROW! ROCKS! AT! LADIES!" Kan'u said, with each word being followed by her span king the boy much to his cries of terror.

She eventually let the boy go, who proceeded to run away in tears from Kan'u's wrath.

"Feel better," I said, patting her back.

"Marginally" she sighed, before we turned to the path "Let's just keep going,"

Eventually, our path was cut off once again this time by a bunch of kids, the rest of the RinRin Bandits.

"You may have gotten past Yao! But you're not getting past us! We won't let you arrest RinRin!" The eldest of the kids stated, making me frown.

"Look just listen to me," I said, stepping forward "We're not here to arrest her, all that we wanna do is ta-ALK!" I screamed as I fell down a pit trap under me.

"Rekka-Sama!" Kan'u gasped, as the kids began laughing.

"We did it!" "Hahaha, What a dummy!" "I can't believe he fell for it!" "Yay!" The children cheered.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing" Kan'u said, annoyed.

"Oh yeah! What are you gonna do old lady!" "Grandma!" "Ugly!" They all cheered, making her even angrier.

"That's it!" She said, quickly leaping over the pit I was in towards the kids.

When I finally crawled out I saw Kan'u doing several childish punishments to the kids like noggie's, pulling their cheeks or giving them Chinese burns.

"W-Wow" I blinked, looking at all the kids crying out in pain as she gave them their deserved punishments.

"Kan'u, don't you think that was a bit much," I asked, climbing out.

"Naughty children sometimes need to be reminded of their manners," Kan'u huffed, crossing her arms as the children's glared at us.

"Grr, you two jerks won't lose to RinRin!" One of the kid's boasted, making us sigh.

"Okay, listen we don't want to arrest her, all we wanna do is talk and see if we can convince her to apologise to Magistrate" I explained, making them blink.

"Really!" They asked, and I nodded.

"What about her," they said, looking over at Kan'u.

"I'm just here to support Rekka, he's the only one with authority to arrest her" she explained.

"And as you can see I'm not really on the same level as her, so I don't think I'll be able to arrest her by force" I smiled, making them smile back.

The kids then agreed to run back, but not before calling Kan'u names again which she didn't enjoy but she let it go and we continued our way down the path.

The path soon opened up to a clearing surrounded by rocks with patches going around the edges, one going higher onto the mountain while the others rose a small hill to a simple hut on top of a ledge.

In front of the hut was RinRin, holding a staff with a blue cloth tied near the end with a blade shaped like a flame.

"That must be her, she probably expected someone to go after her," I said, Kan'u readied her weapon.

"Please stay back Rekka, I have a feeling things will get dangerous" she stated, and I nodded taking a few steps back.

"Are you RinRin?" Kan'u asked, making the young girl frown.

"RinRin is my secret name! Only my friends and family can call me that! And you are most unworthy of calling me that!" she declared.

"Forgive me then, let me try again," Kanu smiled. "Who am I talking to?"

"I am Chouhi, followed by Yokutoku!" the young girl cried out "Even babies know to fear that name! I am the great leader of the Rinrin Bandits!"

This made me blink in surprise as I thought about it 'Why does her name sound so familiar I thought, taking out the romance of the three kingdoms from my bag.

"Hmph, I have already sent the rest of your comrades back to the village" Kan'u declared, causing RinRin's eyes to widen.

"What! What did you do to my friends!" RinRin yelled as Kan'u smirked "Just a little punishment".

"THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA MAKE YOU PAY TWENTY TIMES FOR THAT!" She declared, leaping off the top of the hill.

"I'm not gonna lose to an old lady that looks like she's more talk than action" Kanu frowned at this statement, taking a stance.

"So it seems you won't listen to me. Fine, I will just make you listen by force!" she said, as the two dashed towards each other.

"Take this!" Chouhi yelled, swinging her spear and sending several strikes toward Kan'u's way who expertly blocked the incoming attack.

However, Chouhi did a surprising move when she allowed her spear to be hit, using the recoil to make the spear come behind her, which she grabbed with her other hand and used the momentum to make another swing.

Kan'u quickly blocked the attack but what surprised her was the strength of the little girl, the attack was enough to knock her back to the ground, skidding against it.

"Kan'u, are you okay?" I asked as she looked over at me.

"I'm fine, I was just caught off guard," she said, spinning her spear around "Looks like I'll need to change up my strategy".

Chouhi then rushed towards the girl, however, Kan'u used her superior speed to dodge the attacks, she was planning on tiring Chouhi out then take her down.

"Amazing,.." I mumbled as I watched the two warriors battle.

Six hours later

Third-person P.O.V.

'Okay seriously how long can they keep this up' Kotaro thought, placing his finished book in his bag as Chouhi and Kan'u were continuing to battle, heck the sun was even setting.

He watched as they both leapt into the air, their strikes hitting each other but they just pushed them higher into the air from the recoil alone until they hit each other at the same time and came back down to the ground.

'Okay, now that was just an anime move' He thought.

Chouhi finally seemed to be running out of steam alongside Kan'u.

As she came down from a leap, Chouhi made a quick strike towards Kan'u's back with her spear who blocked the attack.

"What a waste" Kan'u sighed, still blocking Chouhi's attack.

"What do you mean?" Chouhi blinked.

"I have never seen a child as strong as you before and yet you just sit here and play bandits."

"That's none of your business!" Chouhi snapped, stepping back.

This gave Kan'u the chance to take a breath as she stood back up "I was told in town that your parents were killed by bandits."

"S-so what? What is it to you?" Chouhi huffed.

"Because I know what it's like," Kan'u said.

"My family was taken by bandits as well, and my brother was killed in battle with them not much longer" she stated, surprising Kotaro.

'Kan'u…' he thought.

"That's why I fight so that no one will have to suffer the heartbreak and pain that I went through because of them!" she explained.

"What does that have to do with me?" Chouhi questioned.

"Haven't you wanted to change this world? The constant wars, the unending bandits, the deaths of innocent people?" Kan'u asked, turning around to face the younger girl.

"Aren't you sick of it? Don't you want to do something about it?"

Chouhi cringed before, rushing toward her opponent attacking wildly at Kan'u however the attack wasn't nearly as precise as before which led Kan'u to easily dodge the attacks but still evident it was filled with raw emotion and anger.

"Who could understand all this?!" she cried, striking the same spot over and over again. "I've-I've always been alone! I don't know what to do!"

Chouhi slammed down her staff one last time and Kanu couldn't deflect it anymore, losing her weapon.

Chouhi reared back for another strike, but it was stopped by Kotaro who quickly rushed in to stop the spear.

He then looked down at the girl, seeing her eyes which was red and filled with tears.

"Chouhi… you're not alone… you have all of your friends and all of the adults back in the village looking out for you, can you say you're alone after all that," He said.

This caused Chouhi to break down into tears, falling to her knees as she made large sob's whilst wiping the flowing tears out of her eyes.

Kotaro smiled, as he moved in before embracing the girl "It's okay, just let it all out" he said, as Chouhi continued to let all of her bottled-up emotions out.

RinRin's house

Third-person P.O.V.

"Huh, first we just wanted to talk to her and now we are here staying the night in her house" Kotaro sighed, as he sat in Chouhi's house whilst Kan'u was in the bath.

After Chouhi finished up her crying, she agreed to apologise to the Magistrate tomorrow.

Kotaro and Kan'u were going to head back to the inn, but we're stopped when Chouhi insisted to let them stay in the house.

The two agreed, just to keep the little girl happy and the smile she made when they agreed was worth it.

"How is the water? Is it hot enough yet?" Chouhi asked, running into the house from where she prepared the fire for the water.

As she did, she quickly discarded her clothes to join the bath with Kan'u, Kotaro was busy with his journal and didn't see.

"It's just fine" Kan'u sighed with relief, as Chouhi quickly ran in.

"Then let me join in too!" She yelled, much to Kan'u's surprise.

"H-Hey!" Kan'u said, only for it to be followed by a large splash sound.

"Well, at least she's having fun" Kotaro mumbled, continuing to write down what he had gone through today.

As he continued writing, he thought back to what he had learned about Chouhi and Kan'u,

'Wow, I knew the bandits were a problem in this era, but to have seen the effects of them first hand is shocking' he thought.

'I mean, because of the bandits Chouhi had to live all by herself after her grandfather died, and I doubt it's fun to live in this small of a place' he thought, before sighing.

'That's no way to live especially for a child especially at her age and who knows what Kan'u had to go through' he thought.

"Rekka-Sama the bath is free," Kan'u said, making him turn around.

"Oh thanks, Kan'u, psssh" Kotaro spat, his face turning bright red when he saw the two.

They were both wearing sleeping clothes, Chouhi's fit perfectly but Kan'u's one was made for a girl Chouhi's age so it showed a large amount of her body.

"Wh-what?" Kanu blushed, noticing how her companion was looking at her. "Ch-Chouhi was k-kind enough to let me borrow her sleeping clothes!"

"Oh uh, right," Kotaro said, clapping his cheeks as he got up before walking towards the bath which made Chouhi blink in confusion.

"Why was he so embarrassed? Grandpa and I had baths together all the time, don't you two do the same?" she asked, innocently making Kan'u blush brightly.

"O-O-Of course not, we only just became travelling companions! Of course, we wouldn't do such a thing like that!" she said.

Chouhi turned her head in confusion before she just shrugged her arms "I don't get it… but okay!" She chirped before going off to get the pillows and blankets.

"I only have two pillow's but you two can have it," Chouhi said, making Kan'u blink.

"Oh right, sorry about taking so much, even if we are guests," Kanu apologized, moving to help Chouhi.

"Oh don't worry!" Chouhi beamed. "I lost the fight so it's only right! Don't worry about me, Kan'u!".

A few minutes later Kotaro walked out of the bath before he joined the shared futon along with Kan'u and Chouhi who acted as a barrier for the two.

"Hahaha, today has been so much fun I haven't slept with anyone in so long" she smiled, before covering her mouth with her blanket to hide her blush "When it's like this, I feel like I'm with Mama and Papa again".

Kotaro smiled at that but Kan'u blushed sitting up "N-n-now do not be saying such things! I'm nowhere near old enough to be considered your mother!" She yelled, "At the most, we can be considered your brother and sister".

Chouhi blinked in surprise, while Kotaro sweatdropped 'I think she took that the wrong way'.

"Brother and sister?" Chouhi blinked.

"B-besides, I haven't done anything that could have gotten me pregnant," Kanu huffed, defending her age, but then she finally realised what she said, blushing an even deeper shade of red.

Luckily that seemed to go over Chouhi's head, "When can I call you two my big brother and sister!" She said, stars in her eyes.

"Uh, yeah I guess" "I suppose" Kotaro and Kan'u answered, making the young girl beam.

"Yay!" Chouhi cheered, throwing her hands into the air.

"Then from now on Rekka and Kan'u will be RinRin's siblings!" She said, grabbing the arms of the two next to her before flopping back down and hugging them "Now I won't be alone anymore".

"We'll be together forever, right?" Chouhi asked, looking up to her new siblings.

"You'll come with us to change the world?" Kan'u asked, making Chouhi look up "Change the world?".

"Yes, my dream is to help change the world and I believe Rekka may have the power to do so" she explained, making the young child look at her new brother with curiosity.

"Uh, it's kind of a long story, you'll see what she means soon," He said, scratching his cheek.

"Okay, I can't wait," she said, flopping back down as Kotaro and Kan'u smiled as well before laying down on the bed with the younger sibling.

However, as they slept Kotaro couldn't help but look at the roof 'Change the world… huh?… can I… do it?' He thought, before closing his eyes to sleep.

That night in the village

Third-person P.O.V.

Outside the village, we see a man on the hill above it, as he looked down at the unassuming village.

He had curly blonde hair with blue eyes and wore a sleeves grey shirt with blue stripes all over it and blues trousers and black shoes, he also had golden chains all over his body and shape fangs.

"Heh, so that's where the ride books energy was found" he smirked, before pulling out a mechanical book like Brave Dragon, except this one, showed the picture of a man climbing up a giant beanstalk.

"Not really in the mood to kill everyone, guess I'll have one of the boys do it," he said, as he raised his hand causing it to glow.

This summoned a grey humanoid monster with a brown cloak around its body.

He then lifted the book before pressing the button on it.

Jack-kun to Domamenoki

He then slotted the book into the monster's body, causing it to spasm and flinch.

It then turned into green energy, before flying towards the village causing it to be covered by a strange fog.

The man smirked as he walked off, disappearing into energy as he did.

The next day

Third-person P.O.V.

Kotaro yawned and stretched as he, Kan'u and Chouhi walked back to the village "Geez, Kan'u did you have to wake us up so early".

"Of course, after all, we want to leave as early as possible" she explained, as they walked down the path.

"So after we head back to town, where do we go next?" Chouhi asked.

"Like before, wherever the rumours or the wind take us," Kanu smiled.

"Really? Then let's go! let's go! Let's go!" She said, running on ahead through the forest as Kotaro and Kan'u followed.

However, when they did, they saw strange fog covering the village.

"Uh, is that normal?" Koutaro asked as Chouhi shook her head "No, the towns never had fog like that".

"Rekka, I have a bad feeling about this" Kan'u said, as Kotaro nodded "Alright, well let's check it out," he said, as they made their way towards the town.

When the group entered the foggy town, they found that it was completely covered with plants and roots which were all moving towards a giant beanstalk.

"What is this…" Kan'u said, speechless as they walked through the transformed town.

"Rinrin's never seen anything like this before," she said, looking up at the roots.

"It almost looks like a corrupted version of Jack and the beanstalk," Kotaro said, as the two girls looked at him with confused looks "A story from my home"

The two nodded, as the group looked around the inverted town until they heard some voices.

"Boss!" They looked over to see the rest of the RinRin bandits running towards them.

"Guys! The heck's going on" Chouhi asked, as the kids stopped in front of them.

"We don't know, we just woke up and the whole town was crazy," One of the kids said, as another nodded "Yeah, and there was a bunch of monsters taking the adults up that giant beanstalk".

"Monsters? Are you certain" Kan'u asked, and as if to answer their questions several monsters began running up.

They had a mostly black body but with vine covering their whole bodies like armour.

Surprised by the monsters sudden appearance Kan'u and Chouhi readied their weapons.

"Those monsters…" Kotaro mumbled, staring at them.

"Rekka, you know these beasts," Kan'u asked, as he shook his head.

"No… I…" he mumbled, before a sudden flash of knowledge coursed through his mind.

"They're called… Shimi? Monsters that are based on corrupted stories… I think…" he mumbled, looking down at the glowing brave dragon book.

"Monsters based off stories? So cool!" Chouhi said, her eyes sparkling in excitement.

"No, it's not! Rekka, do you know if they can be destroyed" she asked, as he slowly nodded.

"Y-Yeah, I think so… just destroy the body and they should go down…but I'm not certain" he explained.

"Then let's beat them up already!" Chouhi yelled, running towards the monster much to the surprise of the others.

"Chouhi" Kan'u said, before looking back at Kotaro "Rekka, can you get those kids out of here?".

"Right" he nodded, as he hurried the kids towards the edge of town who Kan'u joined Chouhi.

The monster threw their vines towards the two warriors, however, Chouhi spun her spear around to cut the vines down.

This gave Kan'u the chance to rush in for the attack, cutting down the vine before throwing it towards the wall.

Another leapt up from one of the roofs' but shout stopped into it with her spear before tossing it towards the ground.

Kan'u then slashed a group of monsters knocking them back, however, they soon got back up.

Kan'u readied herself but was shocked to see all of the monsters regrowing their limbs like plants.

"Big sis, what do we do! These guys just keep getting back up" Chouhi asked, as Kan'u gritted her teeth "I'm not sure just keep fighting".

Meanwhile, we see Kotaro and the kids who were successful in escaping the town.

"Stay near the entrance to the forest, stay there until it's safe to come back," Kotaro said, as the kids looked at him.

"What about you? You're gonna help them right?" they asked, making Kotaro blink.

"Huh?" He blinked, "Uh, no I-"

He then began feeling something, as he looked at the Brave Dragon book glowing before nodding.

"I'm… going to go back in there," he said, as the kids nodded running off.

Kotaro then turned towards the town, as he looked at the book "I got a feeling this can work out" he said, pressing the button on the book.

BRAVE DRAGON!

He then began running back into the town to assist his new family.

Back with Kan'u and Chouhi, they were being cornered by the monster. Each time they tried to take them down they simply grew their body parts.

"What do we do!" Chouhi asked as Kan'u looked at her "I'm not sure, just keep a good distance between them and us" However as she said that…

"ROOAARR!"

This caused the two to jump, as they looked over to the origin of the sound.

There was once a God Beast possessing a great power that would destroy everything... it was a Brave Dragon!.

From the sky, they saw Kotaro's dragon flying through the sky as it shot balls of fire towards the monsters burning the, down to a crisp.

"Woah! Is that a dragon!" Chouhi jumped, as the dragon roared before flying up the beanstalk.

"Wait… that means…" Kan'u said, before looking over to see Kotaro running towards them.

"Rekka, what are you doing here I told you to leave it to us, it's not safe here!" Kan'u said as Kotaro looked at her.

"I'm sorry, I just didn't feel right… leaving you guys to those monsters, I want to help even a little bit" he said, making Kan'u frown.

"Rekka…" she mumbled, she was about to continue when they heard a roar.

"What was that," Chouhi said, as they looked up to see the dragon crashing towards the ground.

"What!" They gasped when suddenly they felt a huge quake.

They looked over to see a giant monster standing about 15 meters high. It had a mostly armoured body with flowing brown hair and sharp teeth.

All three were shocked at the giant, as it looked around the area.

"Rekka, what is that thing," Kan'u asked, as Kotaro gulped.

"It's called a Megid the leader of the monsters, a giant one at that but if we defeat it then everything should go back to normal" he explained.

"But how are we meant to fight something that big!" Kan'u yelled as Chouhi raised her fingers.

"Um, it's staring at us," She said, as the two followed her gaze to see the megid staring at them.

"The wonder… ride… book…" he barely said, as Kotaro took out the red book.

'Does he want this' he thought, looking behind him to see the dragon recovering.

"Kan'u, Chouhi I need you two to run," he said, as they looked toward him.

"Rekka?" "Big brother," they both said, turning toward them as Kotaro smiled before running past them followed by the dragon.

"What are you doing!" They both yelled as he looked behind him.

"I have no idea!" He yelled, running underneath the megid forcing it to turn around to chase him.

"Rekka!" "Big brother!" The two yelled as the giant chased after Kotaro.

The giant threw some rubble toward Kotaro however the dragon flew and blasted them into dust.

He then flew towards the giant before sending several blasts, however, all this did was annoy the giant.

The giant growled as it whacked the dragon out of the way, causing it to crash towards the beanstalk before turning towards Kotaro.

It then gripped a roof of the beanstalk before tossing it to where Kotaro was going to block his path.

"Shit," he said, turning around to see the giant stomping towards him.

Kotaro stepped back, not sure what to do as the giant reached for him but right before it got him Kan'u and Chouhi slashing at the giant's hand causing it to flinch back.

"Kanu, Chouhi. Whatever you guys do, I want you two to run as fast as you can…" he said, with a serious expression.

"What are you saying, Rekka," They said looking back at him with smiles.

"I promised that I would dedicate my life to protect you no matter what," Kan'u said, and Chouhi nodded.

"Yeah, and RinRin doesn't want to let her new brother die" she smiled, as they looked up at the giant before with amazing ability, leapt onto the building to draw its attention.

'Kan'u…Chouhi…you two are always the ones saving me…why…why can't I protect you guys as well he said, before looking at the brave dragon book.

"Please… please give me the power so that I can protect my friends and my new family" he yelled, which caused the book to shine causing him to drop the book as it began shooting a giant flaming tornado from it.

"W-What…" he gawked, staring at the beautiful colours of the flames.

Meanwhile, Kan'u and Chouhi were awestruck at the flaming tornado "What… now?".

From within the flame's, Kotaro saw the silhouette of a sword within it "Do… you want me to reach for it".

He looked at his hand, before gripping it as he then plunged his arm into the tornado.

"G-Gah!" He cried out in pain of his arm burning, but he didn't give up as he reached for the sword before used all his strength to pull it out revealing what it was.

SEIKEN SWORDRIVER.

What he pulled out was a red sword within a black belt which worked as its scabbard, it was quite odd-looking even sporting three small rectangle-shaped ports on it.

"A… sword… no… my… sword," he said, picking up the now-closed brave dragon book.

He looked up at his comrades continuing to battle the giant as he slapped the driver onto his waist.

He then lifts the red book, before once again pressing the button on it.

BRAVE DRAGON!

This caused the dragon to wake up as it flew from the beanstalk before it began flying around him.

Kotaro then lifted the book before he slammed it down into the slot closed to the sword hilt, gripping the hilt shortly.

Kotaro closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before looking up at the monster "Let's do it".

(Play Inferno from Fire Force)

He grabbed the handle of the swords and unsheathed it from the belt, making the book snap open.

Rekka Battou!

"Henshin!" Kotaro then proceeded to slash his sword in an X pattern, forming an X shaped flaming slash that flew out.

Woah! Oh! Woah! Brave Drag~~~on!

The dragon then began spinning around him very quickly as its body shined before entering into him, transforming him into the new Kamen Rider Saber, the flaming X slamming into his visor to complete the transformation.

Rekka Issatsu!

When the dragon of valour and Kaenken Rekka meet, the crimson sword destined to penetrate evil will be created!

"Kaenken Rekka? Just like my name" he said, looking at the sword "Well nice to work with you".

"WOAH! Big sis did you just see that! Big Bro just did an awesome transformation" Chouhi said, gawked as Kan'u nodded.

"Yeah… I did" Kan'u said, looking down at Kamen rider Saber 'This power… you are the messenger of heaven, Rekka'.

The giant roared, summoning several smaller monsters that began running towards Saber.

However, he dashed towards the monsters, each and everyone one of them as he dashed past them.

This caused the monsters to burn up, some more monsters tried wrapping Saber in their vines.

However, Saber just pressed the books face, which engulfed his hand in flame burning the vines away.

He then dashed towards the monsters and quickly slashed at them burning them down.

As he was fighting the monsters, the giant continued its rampage attacking straight for Kan'u and Chouhi.

The two dodged the attack, before slashing their weapons at the giant's hand causing it to scream out in pain.

In anger, the giant swung its arm at the two destroying the roof they were on, sending them flying toward the ground.

"No!" Saber yelled, summoning Brave Dragon which roared before flying to save Chouhi while Saber leapt to save Kan'u.

Kan'u closed her eyes, bracing for impact but then opened her eyes when she felt someone catching her, looking up to see that it was Saber who was holding her like a princess.

Saber landed on the ground, before turning towards Kan'u red face "You okay".

"Y-Yes, t-thank you," she said, as Saber placed her on the ground while the dragon flew towards them dropping Chouhi as it did.

"Wow! Big Brother you look so cool!" Chouhi said, excitedly making Saber bashfully rub his head "Hehe, thanks".

They then heard a roar, as the giant picked up some rubble before throwing it at them.

"Oh crap!" Saber yelled, as he quickly used Kaenken Rekka to cut down all of the rubble flying towards them.

"Alright…I'm finishing this" he said, as he inserted his sword into the driver before pulling it out.

HISSATSU DOKUHA!

REKKA BATTOU!

KAEN! JUJIZAN

Saber and the Dragon's body were engulfed in a flaming aura as they both dashed towards the giant.

With the amazing speed, they both began slicing up the giant's body simultaneously, and when they reached above the giant Saber inserted his sword back into the driver.

The dragon quickly spun around Saber and the giant, forming a flaming ring of fire as the dragon entered into Saber's body.

HISSATSU DOKUHA!

HIRYUU! SHUUGEKIHA!

Saber then absorbed the ring of fire causing his foot to be engulfed in flames, as he sent a flaming kick towards the giant.

"I'm the only one… who can decide how this story ends!" Saber declared as he sent the kick towards the giant.

Saber passed through the giant's body as he crashed onto the ground, as the giants soon exploded causing the entire area to be engulfed in bright light.

When the gluten died down everyone was surprised to see the town back to normal as all the adults looked around confused.

Saber looked around, confused as well when suddenly he saw something falling to the ground.

He walked up the item and found a new mechanical book based on Jack and the beanstalk.

"Huh, was this the original book?" He mumbled, picking up the book as he pulled out the brave dragon book, returning to normal.

He then looked over only to be met with a bunch of adoring villagers including Kan'u and Chouhi.

"How did you do that?" "That was amazing!" "Was that giant and dragon real!" "How did you get that Armor"

"Uhh, just give me a sec," Kotaro said, stepping back with a sweatdrop.

"Step aside! Step aside! Make way!" They heard as the Magistrate began walking through the town. "You!"

"Huh?" Kotaro blinked, surprised pointing to himself as the Magistrate nodded.

"Were you the one who defeated those wretched creatures?" the magistrate demanded.

"Uh, yeah but not by myself," Kotaro said, scratching his cheek before his hand was clapped by the Magistrate's hand.

"Please! Become my royal bodyguard! With you we will be able to expand this wretched town into an unstoppable nation" he begged.

"Uh, wait what" Kotaro stammered, completely confused.

"With your help, I can finally leave this backwater town filled with these idiots and move to the capital where I-" he said before Kan'u stepped forward.

"I'm sorry but the Messenger of heaven most definitely cannot take that offer," she said, shocking everyone.

"Huh? Messenger of heaven what's that" Chouhi asked, as Kotaro turned his head.

"I'm supposed to be this saviour guy but I'm not sure my self" He mumbled, as Chouhi smiled.

"Wow! That sounds so cool that must be why you had all those cool power" Chouhi said, excited.

"M-Messenger of heaven" The magistrate gawked, as the rest of the villagers began cheering on Kotaro.

Kotaro smiled at all the cheers and delight of all the citizens, before he Kan'u pat his shoulder "Shall we go, Rekka-Sama" she asked, as he smiled.

"Sure" he nodded, as the group of three began walking but the Magistrate quickly grasped his hand.

"T-Then I'll pay you to triple the amount of my guard! Just please work for me!" The magistrate pleaded as Kotaro sighed before crouching down.

"How about this, I'll consider your offer if you just do one thing for me," he said, as Magistrate looked up "what?".

"With your hard work, try to make this town as best as it can be! Change who you are and maybe you can help this town grow through you and the villager's efforts" he said, standing back up.

"Just think about it," he said, as he began leaving with Kan'u and Chouhi while everyone else kept on cheering.

Road

Third-person P.O.V.

(Play Saber's ending theme)

Kotaro and Kan'u were walking along the road with Chouhi far ahead in front.

They had just finished watching as Chouhi was saying goodbye to all of her friends and promising to come again someday, heck even the pig was crying.

"So, still think it was a good idea to bring her along?" Kotaro asked as Kan'u nodded

"Yes, she has a lot of potentials that she has yet to tap into, besides…" she said, looking over at Kotaro.

"We are her only family now, so it only makes sense to bring her along," Kan'u said, as Kotaro nodded.

"Yeah, you're right there," Kotaro said, as Chouhi called them.

"Hey! Big bro! Big sis! Come on" Chouhi called, as they nodded.

"We're coming," Kan'u said, running up ahead before turning back to Kotaro "You coming?"

Kotaro looked up at the two, before smiling and nodding "Yeah".

He then began running as he followed them to begin their journey to change this world.
