The Tension was heavy in the night time air as Chazz and Zaloog stood opposite of each other...
The group stood behind on the sidelines to watch the duelp play out, Connar being in the forefront of them with her hair fluttering softly in the sea breeze.
"DUEL!"
The Dark Scorpions: 4000
Chazz: 4000
"I'll Win this as easily as I stole your keys!" claimed Zaloog as he took the first turn for himself.
"First, I'll summon Golem Sentry in Defense mode!"

"Next- I place a card face down. That will do for now..."
"Good, then it's my turn!" Chazz huffed as he swiped his first draw- "I play the spell card Fiend's Santuary!" he declared, "With this card, I can summon a metal fiend token to the field." he states, "And now, I'll sacrifice my fiend token to bring out Armed Dragon Level 5."

"Go, Armed Dragon! Use those arms to destroy that golem!"
The beast swung its arms rapidly, turning the defensive golem into rubble.
"And for my next move, I'm gonna place two face downs! Then? I'm going to use my Dragon's ability! And? It's a big one!"
"Got that right..." said Jaden, "On the turn Armed Dragon Lvl 5 wins a fight...well then you can trade it in for-"
"Level 7." said Connar, finishing Jaden's sentence while the two shared a grin.
"Level it up all you want! It won't matter." said Zaloog, "And you're about to see why-" he took his draw and began to work his next move.
"First I play Pot Of Greed." he declares as he draws two more cards to add to his hand, "And here I got exactly what I wanted...The One and Only Don Zaloog!" he beams, "And when I say One and Only I mean it...because...I am him."

"Wait so...he's a card?" Syrus asked.
"It's like I said earlier." said Connar, "He's a Duel Spirit."
"Not just me." said Zaloog, "With this, Mustering Of The Dark Scorpions, I can summon all of them!"he grinned, "Now all of the Scorpions in my hand, join me on the field! Scorpion Roll Call!"

"And just like that... Princeton is up against a full field of enemies..." Connar said softly.
"Now I'll play a trap." said Zaloog, "You see on the first turn that all of the Dark Scorpions are out, it allows for each of us to attack you directly! And for each attack...you lose 400 life poingts." he grinned, "Now let him ave it!"
One by one each one took their piece of Chazz...along with half of his life points.
The Dark Scorpions: 4000
Chazz: 4000- 2000
"Oh wow that was a lot of damage to take in one turn..." Connar said worrisomely.
"This isn't how you wanna start a duel!" said Jaden.
"And there's more too." Zaloog chuckled, "For you see, now our special abilities go into effect against you~"
"Say what!?" Chazz huffed.
Gorg: That's right...so first the monster on your field has to go back to the top of your deck.
Chick: And then next, a card on your field returns to your hand
Cliff: And there's more... the top 2 cards of your deck? They go to the grave~
Zaloog: And then one card in your hand is destroyed
Meanae: And finally, a card with Dark Scorpion in its name can be added to our hand from the Graveyard.
"And I'll pick this~" said Zaloog revealing the Trap Card He had chosen, "Dark Scorpion Combination...the card that started it all...and now...it will END it all!"
"Ooof...now there's a heavy hitting combination..." Connar said softly, "You got this, Princeton.
"Yeah, stay touch Chazz!" said Jaden, "You can beat them!"
"Hello? Of COURSE I can!" Chazz huffed, "Now be quiet...and let The Chazz...do his thing." he scoffed, "I play Level Modulation." he declared, "Now you will get to draw two cards, and I get to summon from the grave!" he stated, "A high level monster without paying a dime!"
Once again...Armed Dragon Lvl 7 returned to the field.

DEF: 1000
"Him again?" Zaloog huffs as he draws, "You give e no choice but to play two face downs then..."
"It's my turn!" claimed Chazz, "And first- My Dragon's effect activates!" he states, "Now by sending one monster card in my hand to the grave- Monsters with attack points equal or fewer than my discarded one are destroyed!" he explains, "And the card I'm Discarding is Despair From The Dark! 2800 Attack points!"
"All right! That's enough to destroy all of them-" Connar beamed.
"Hold it! I play a trap!" sai Zaloog, "Retreat Of The Dark Scorpions! Now all Dark Scorpions on the field retreat to my hand!"
"Fine, then I'll just attack directly!" Chazz declared, "Go Get him!"
"AAAUUURGH!"
The Dark Scorpions: 4000- 1200
Chazz: 2000
"I'll place one card face down and end my turn." said Chazz.
"One lucky move! That's all!" huffed Zaloog, "But it won't matter! It Ends here!" he states, "I summon myself, Don Zaloog again!" he declared, "Then I'll play, Mustering Of The Dark Scorpions! Welcome back team!"
"Oh no..." Connar said nervously, "It looks like he's going to repeat his combo from earlier..."
I sure hope what Princeton has left, can save him...!
"Sorry...but they're not back yet~" Chazz stated, "I play- Ojama Trio!"
"ALL RIGHT!" Connar beamed.
"But...why are they on our field?" Zaloog questions.
"So that YOUR team CAN'T be~" Chazz beams, "See, Ojama Trio, creates Ojama Tokens- and they take up 3 of your monster slots." he grins, "And when Destroyed? You lose 300 life points."
"Very Well then...I'll do what I have to...forgive me, Meanae." said Zaloog, "I play Dark Scorpion Tragedy Of Love" he declared, "When Don Zaloog and Meanae The Thorn are on the field- I can send Meanae to the Graveyard to destroy all of your monsters!"
With that, Chazz's field was left empty for a direct attack- dropping his life points down to 600.
The Dark Scorpions: 1200
Chazz: 2000- 600
"Now my special ability activates!" said Zaloog, "You have to discard one random card from your hand to the graveyard!"
"Actually, it would be my pleasure~" said Chazz, "Because the only card I have in my hand is Ojamagic- and when this card is sent to the graveyard, then Ojama Yellow, Green, and Black all come to my hand!"
"Bring them out!" Zaloog scoffs, "They don't scare me!"
"Yeah well, we'll see what I can do to change that~" said Chazz as he took his draw, "Let's go- Pot of Greed!" Now Chazz gets to draw two more cards...and the Duel was sealed.
"Next I play- Polymerization!" he declared, "Scared yet? You will be! Do your thing Ojamas!" he beamed as the three little monsters clashed to bring out Ojama King.

DEF:3000
"Now- I play my spell card- Ojamuscle!" he declared, "Ojamuscle destroys all Ojama monsters that's out- including the tokens." he beamed, "And for everyone that's destroyed, King gains 1000 attack points." he states, "And Since the Tokens were destroyed, you now lose, 900 life points~"
The Dark Scorpions: 1200-300
Chazz: 600
"And now...King's attack points will rise...to 3000!"
Ojama King
ATK: 0000- 3000
DEF: 3000
And that was that...Chazz won.
"Bye bye~" he sang.
The match came to its end, and the spirits soon returned to the proper cards...leaving behind the Shadow Charm used to set them free.
"Well...I guess that's one less Shadow Rider we have to worry about." said Chazz, as he gathered up the newly scattered cards that held The Dark Scorpions's spirits.
As everyone moved to return to their beds...Connar stayed behind...to help Chazz gather them up.
"So...what are you going to do with them now, Princeton?" She asked him softly, as she returned the cards to his hand, "I mean...it's not like we can just...leave them scattered to the wind..."
"Hmmm..." Chazz hummed, "Why don't you take them Connie?" he said softly, "After all...you knew right from the start what they truly were..."
"Oh...I couldn't." she chuckled, "I can't imagine Kaibaman and Dark Magician Girl handling it well if I took in more spirits...the two of them alone are already a handful by themselves but you know? I think maybe...you should keep them." she states, "After all...They would clash with my Spell Casters...it took me a while to figure out how to work Kaibaman in my deck...but you? I think you could really make good use of them." she smiled.
As calous as Chazz appeared to be...she knew he had a good heart...
Of course he eventually caved.
Even if he knew he would eventually regret it...
Better tuck those ear plud in good and tight this time!
