Summary: The Lotus Ninjas are finally assembled and must work together to take down Baku in his dream dimension.
Now, Donna found herself standing on top of a large semispherical platform floating at the center of white nebula filled with twinkling white stars.
"Hello?" Donna called out.
"Donna!" Ellie shouted.
"Ellie!" Ella cried.
"Ella!" Lee yelled.
Donna's smile grew when she spun around to see Lee, Ella, and Ellie in her view. She and her sisters ran up and hugged each other tightly with relieved faces.
"Boy, am I glad to see you girls!" Donna smiled.
"Me two!" Lee smiled back.
"Me three." Ella grinned.
"Me four." Ellie beamed. Her smile immediately dropped. "But I'm officially freaked out. What the heck is going on here?"
"Yeah, one minute we were fighting Baku, and the next minute I ended up in a forest riding in a horse." Ella replied.
"He's the one who puts all of us in some sort of dream world!" Lee exclaimed. "We all have been experiencing our own desirable dreams!"
"Does your dream have the Turtles in it?" Ellie asked with a flushed smile.
"Maybe." Lee, Ella, and Donna answered with sheepish smiles.
"But that's not important." Lee said in a firm tone. "Right now, we need to find a way out of here."
"Well, before Baku sent me to my dream world, I was able to figure out how to wake up from all of this. The only way to overthrow Baku and wake up every victim, including us, that were under his power is to defeat him in the dream world." Donna explained.
"So, you figured it out?" A sudden sinister voice roared. "I must say you mystics are very clever."
Ellie, Ella, Lee, and Donna huddled together as they quickly summoned their elemental magic.
"Show yourself, Baku!" Lee demanded.
And then, a chilling cyclone cloud swirled over the platform. A gigantic Baku showed himself with devious eyes in front of the Lotus Ninjas.
"Bravo, ladies." Baku said. "No mortal has ever awakened up from their dreams before. For years, I've lurked around the world, bringing humans to their illusional dreams and stealing their life force." His face moved closer to the Lotus Ninjas. "Until one day, you girls. I've encountered mystics before, but every one of them managed to escape from my clutches. But your four possess very unique magical life force. I'm gonna drain you dry until all of your magic is mine!"
"Not gonna happen!" Lee said determinedly. "Let's get him, girls!"
"Ha, no amount of training can prepare you to challenge me." Baku said.
Baku's eyes glowed in dark grey light. Four strange black blobs appeared towards the Lotus Ninjas and began taking shape into…the Lotus Ninjas. Except their eyes and ninja attire are pure black, while their skins are pale grey. The real Lotus Ninjas stared at the nightmarish Lotus Ninjas with shocked faces.
"What!" Lee shouted.
"The!" Ella cried.
"Heck!" Donna and Ellie hollered.
"Why waste your time fighting me when you can fight yourselves?" Baku asked.
While Baku laughed sinisterly, the Lotus Ninjas charged forward as the nightmarish Lotus Ninjas did the same.
Lee darted forward and released a swing of water-shaped blades at Nightmare Lee, who took notice and evaded in a nick of speed before firing ten explosive arrows out of solid black water that sent Lee flying in the air and crashing back to the ground. Ella dashed forward and launched a series of fireballs at Nightmare Ella, who avoided the rapid fireballs in a zigzag motion and then generated black flames from the palm of her hands to release a spiraling blast of black flames that sent Ella flying next to Lee. Ellie manifested ten large spheres made of compressed solid wind and fired them to attack Nightmare Ellie all at once. But Nightmare Ellie manifested a miniature vortex of wind into shapes of needle-shaped tentacles to attack Ellie multiple times that sent her flying between Lee and Ella. Donna formed four large fists out of rock and launched them at Nightmare Donna, who avoided the rocky fists with swiftness and summoned a large hand of stone from the ground that trapped Donna inside. As Nightmare Donna then clutched her right hand, the stone hand crushed Donna and tossed her away next to Ella.
The Lotus Ninjas helped each other on their feet, knowing that they are officially no match for the Nightmare Lotus Ninjas.
"We're getting our butts kicked. I can't believe I'm saying this, but we can't beat them." Ella admitted in a stubborn tone. "We've hit them with everything we got and it's still not enough!"
"Tell me about it." Lee agreed. "I mean, we're gonna give up against us. Those nightmare copies have our magic and our fighting styles."
"So, how are we gonna beat the nightmare us?" Ellie asked. "We need a foolproof plan to get ourselves out of this fight."
That's when Donna suddenly got an idea.
"That's it! They might have our strength and our magic, but it's possible they have our weaknesses." Donna said. "Remember when our mom was the masked vixen in disguise? Back then, we all learned about our elements' weaknesses."
"And we can use that as our advantage and defeat our opposite selves." Lee said.
Ella and Ellie curved their mouths into the wicked smile on their faces. They, Donna, and Lee threw each other an understanding nod.
"SWITCH!" Lee, Ellie, Donna, and Ella yelled.
Lee, Ella, Donna, and Ellie began charging towards their nightmarish counterparts and then crossed away from them with determined smiles.
Donna raised her hand above her head and formed a purple club-shaped energy sphere, hurling it toward the ground in Nightmare Ellie's direction that hit her in a single strike. Ellie closed her hand and formed an orange diamond-shaped sphere as she hurled it straight into Nightmare Lee upon contact. Ella lifted her arms above her head and formed a large sphere of red energy in the shape of a heart before sending it to attack Nightmare Donna upon contact. Lee raised her hand into the air and created a large glowing spade-shaped sphere of blue energy as she spun once and then fired it at Nightmare Ella. Then, the Lotus Ninjas jumped high in the air and hovered airborne in different directions. They all unleashed a synchronized beam with air, fire, water, and earth that engulfed the Nightmare Lotus Ninjas together in an explosion.
"Heh, that was fun." Ella said with a smirk.
Suddenly, Baku appeared right in front of the Lotus Ninjas.
"Oh, how I've been longing for anyone to challenge me in my domain. This should be utterly entertaining." Baku said.
Baku outstretched his arms and created several multiple reddish-black energy balls, shooting them all at the Lotus Ninjas. But Lee, Ella, Donna, and Ellie moved out of the way.
Lee charged forward and fired powerful jets of water from her hands at Baku, who took notice and lifted his hand to evaporate the attack. He then puts its hands together to create a ball of black and red rings of energy and fired it as a powerful energy beam at Lee. Ella dashed next and released a stream of fire from her hands into the air, forming them into a large ball of fire and sending multiple streaks of fire at Baku in a single burst. But Ella's fire magic didn't leave a scratch on the yokai. Baku then lifted his left arm at Ella and shot out reddish-black lasers that attacked her from all of his fingers. Ellie outstretched her arms and fired several orange crescent-shaped blades of solid air at Baku, who destroyed the attack with a swipe of his right arm. Baku then shot out reddish-black lasers from his eyes that hit Ellie in one shot. Donna summoned a huge ball of dark brown mud between her hands and fired a strong stream of mud at Baku, which had no effect on him. Baku aimed his right arm at Donna and shot out reddish-black lasers at her from all of his fingers.
Baku watched as the Lotus Ninjas were beginning to recover with heavy breaths.
"What's wrong? Losing your stamina already?" Baku teased.
Baku charged forward, but the Lotus Ninjas scattered away again.
Baku began shooting reddish-black lasers up in the air from his fingers that rained down at the scattering mystics and then shot out reddish-black lasers from his eyes at the same time. Lee, Donna, Ella, and Ellie were giving everything they got at Baku. But no elemental blasts, beams, or bolts weren't enough to damage the dream-ruling yokai. Baku's increased power, strength, and durability outmatched the Lotus Ninjas' mystical ninjutsu capabilities. But the Lotus Ninjas managed to unleash elemental energy punches and kicks at Baku's face in the air. That made the giant yokai smirk down at the girls.
"It's over, ladies! I win!" Baku shouted.
Baku unleashed reddish-black lasers from all of his fingers from his hands that instantly engulfed the Lotus Ninjas in a full sweep. The four mystic kunoichis screamed out loud in pain.
Once Baku stopped attacking, the Lotus Ninjas laid on their backs on the ground. He instantly laughed with a sinister smile.
"I...can't...fight…anymore..." Ellie moaned in pain.
"Me…too…" Ella agreed.
"We need...some help…" Donna groaned.
"Big time." Lee said weakly. "But…we can't give up. We…have to…keep fighting. We have to save…our mom…our friends…We can't let them down."
Lee, Donna, Ella, and Ellie slowly got back up. They clenched their fists and conjured their elemental magic.
Then suddenly, a golden glowing magic circle appeared underneath the Lotus Ninjas. Lee, Donna, Ella, and Ellie looked at the magic circle with wide eyes, which quickly caused Baku to stare at them in a mix of confusion and annoyance.
"Wh-what is this?" Ella wondered.
"I don't know, but it feels...powerful." Donna replied.
"You can say that again." Ellie agreed.
"It's not familiar to any magical techniques that mother taught us, but it's the only chance we got." Lee said. "Quick, let's do it!"
Lee, Donna, Ella, and Ellie formed a circle and joined hands together. As they closed their eyes, the golden light traveled and engulfed them whole. Even Baku backed away a bit in genuine fear.
The powerful golden light of magical energy began surrounding the girls, transforming them into an entirely new entity in a flash. Once the golden light cleared, Baku watched in utter shock as a powerful teenage girl was floating before him. The fusion has flawless complexion, long golden yellow curly hair that reaches to her mid-black with blue, red, purple, and orange streaks, and amber eyes. She wore a yellow zip-up leotard that has glowing yellow cuffs at the neck, leg, and arm holes. She also wore yellow knee-high heeled boots and yellow fingerless gloves.
When the mystic fusion opened her eyes, she smirked and released a burst of magical energy.
"What? What are you?" Baku gasped in shock.
"I'm Anika." The Lotus fusion spoke with a serene tone in her voice. "A fusion of four mystics as one."
"Heh, it doesn't matter. Fusion or not, you're no match against the ultimate power of a yokai!" Baku shouted.
Baku fired reddish-black energy lasers from his eyes at Anika, who looked at Baku and his lasers with a cocky grin. Anika raised one hand up as the lasers approached her, creating a huge wall made of yellow magical energy. The Lotus fusion's shield guarded her against the lasers, which easily redirected back to Baku. The giant yokai shouted in terror as his own laser attacked him. The lasers sent Baku falling down to the floating platform, causing him to shrink back into normal size.
Baku struggled to get up from the ground. His eyes caught Anika levitating down towards him, causing him to stand up quickly. Baku's face scrunched up in fury and began striking at the Lotus fusion, but Anika evaded and delivered a fast series of punches with her fists surrounded with glowing yellow aura. Then, Anika created a glowing multi-colored ball of magical energy in between her hands and fired it at the giant yokai. Baku gasped with a stunned face and fell to the ground.
Baku gasped in pain as he picked himself up from the ground while breathing heavily. As he was hunched over, Baku stared at the floating Anika with pure anger.
"No…" Baku said weakly as he swayed himself from side to side. "I…I will not…be defeated…by the likes…of you!"
Baku maniacally rushed forward with a fist. But Anika brought up a yellow energized fist and punched Baku hard straight into the stomach. That made the dream-ruling yokai cough in pain.
"Sorry, yokai. But it's time for you to wake up." Anika said with a glare.
Anika's gathered magical energy erupted right through Baku from the stomach to the back, sending the dream-ruling yokai flying through the air. Baku regained himself and looked down to see Anika putting her glowing hands together and raising them in the air. Once her magical energy was fully charged, Anika then slammed her fists down onto the ground, causing the entire platform and dimension to erupt with a burst of magical energy.
"NO!" Baku screamed in terror.
In a flash, Baku was engulfed by Anika's magical explosion.
Back in the real world, everyone woke up from their dream world under Baku's clutches. Lee, Ella, Donna, Ellie, Irma, and Aaliyah stared at each other with wide, confused eyes. Ryoko wrapped herself around Lee's face. Ekron nuzzled against Ellie's cheek. Izuna jumped onto Ella's right shoulder and licked her cheek with affection. And Phantom sat behind Donna and wrapped her long arms around her creator in relief.
"Heck yeah!" Ella cheered.
"We're back in the real world!" Ellie exclaimed, turning to Irma and Aaliyah with a huge smile. "I mean, my dream world was cool and all, but I'm just glad to see you guys again."
"Us too." Aaliyah said.
The girls turned their heads to see Saldana waking up when she lifted herself up.
"Mother!" The Lotus Ninjas exclaimed happily as they hugged their mother tightly.
"My daughters." Saldana said. "Whatever you did, you saved us all."
Lee, Ella, Donna, and Ellie exchanged happily smiles at each other.
Later on, Saldana was meditating peacefully and levitated herself up when Lee entered the dojo to check on her.
"Mother, are you positive that you are alright?" Lee asked.
"Yes, Leona, I'm okay." Saldana replied with a smile. "Thanks to you and your sisters. Although, I was surprised when you told me about Anika in that yokai's dream dimension."
"Well, it was Ellie's idea for that name." Lee grinned.
"Yeah, I did." Ellie said, peering through the dojo entrance.
Ella appeared beside Ellie and placed her hands on her hips while Donna appeared behind them with a greeting wave.
"Yes, I'm very proud of all of you." Saldana smiled. "To handle your fusion without the spell incarnation, even though I've taught you every ninjutsu training I know, I suppose I should look every scroll and grimoire on the subject."
"But I wonder what happened to Baku when we defeated him." Lee wondered.
"Same here." Donna, Ella, and Ellie said.
"Not to worry, Leona." Saldana said with a smirk. "I've took care of him."
At the center of pure darkness, Baku was banging the walls repeatedly inside a floating transparent light blue-gray icosahedron gemstone.
"This is not over!" Baku yelled angrily. "You hear me? I shall have my revenge!"
