"Junior." Anguirus said as his spiked carapace got tangled in leaves. "Why is it that you make us tread there on foot? We all have wings. I'm sure learning to fly can't be that hard." being met with the large Seawings stare.
"Because from what I hear from some of the beings here it took them around two weeks to learn to fly as kids so for us I'd give us a week." Gojira Jr. said as he flicked around his name. "Listen, even with our diminished size we can still move through the forest better than the average creature."
"True but when Rodan, Leo, and Lea get back what are we to do if the queen has her throne on higher ground?" Baragon asked as the two leaders looked at each other.
"Make her come down to us." Godzilla said with his normal deep tone to copy his adoptive brother.
"You better not or we will. What's the word?" One of the Rainwings said as the Kaiju looked at one another.
"Murder, kill, obliterate, destroy." Baragon started to name off before being stopped by the Rainwing.
"Obliterate, that's it thank you!" The Rainwing said, lifting his talon up for a shake.
"No problem uh." Baragon started before being cut off by the rainwing who shifted into his normal color.
"Jambu, the name's Jambu." Janbu said as the roar of Deathbringer had rung out from the jungle.
"Jambu what did I tell you about fraternizing with the enemy?" Deathbringer said with Leo not far behind.
"To do it often?" Jambu says with a smile as Deathbringer sighs.
"Besides that you dragons follow me we will make our way to the Rainwing village." Deathbriger commanded as the Kaiju got up and started to walk towards the Rainwing village.
"Leo, a quick second." Gojira Jr. said with his voice calming down.
"Yes Goji?" Leo said landing on the back of the seawing.
"Tell me about this village, what is it like?" Gojira Jr. asked as Leo shrugged his shoulders.
"Besides the fact it's in the trees, nothing out of the ordinary, If I had to place it in human history I would say the late dark ages." Leo would say looking into the history of his lineage when one of his Grandmothers defended a castle from a rampaging Gorosaurus.
"Right, tell this info to Godzilla." Gojira Jr. would tell Leo as he went to relay this information.
Back at the rainwing village Lea had been using her telepathy to communicate with Godzilla about the plan that Queen Glory had set.
"Godzilla I feel it would be best for us to make our way out to this Seawing Kingdom as a chain of islands it would make for a familiar spot to call home." Lea says as Godzilla retorts back.
"What about you, and Rodan?" Godzilla thought out to his bug-like companion.
"I plan to join the school that is being built and as Rodan is hyper active I'm sure he wouldn't mind living around the mountain. I could even force him to take classes." Lea said with an evil chuckle.
"Knowing him he will still get into trouble." Godzilla said with a snicker. "I'll head out to that Seawing kingdom with Junior once we learn to fly."
"Alright then oh, and where are you at the moment?" Lea said as Godzilla let out a whisper.
"Closer than you think." he said, grabbing Lea by the shoulder giving her a jolt.
"You can't do that!" She would shout turning a bright red out of anger.
"Well then you need to be more alert." Godzilla would say as the other Kaiju except for Rodan, and Gojira Jr. had walked into the hut that Lea was going to be sleeping in.
"Good lord, look at the size of those two." Glory said as she landed to see the group of misfit dragons. "Tsunami would have a field day trying to fight one of you."
"Who is this Tsunami you speak of?" Gojira Jr. asked as Glory looked towards the towering Seawing.
"A dragon that looks like you two but smaller and a dark blue." Glory said looking upon the two Seawings being about the same size as Morrowseer and if it wasn't for the bioluminescent scales on them she could have confused them for nightwings. As she was still in a slight bit of shock a laugh came out of the slightly taller one.
"Trust me she is nothing compared to what he has been through." Godzilla said, patting his little brother on the back.
"She will try to argue otherwise." Glory said as the sun started to set, her tribe started to retreat into the treeline for the night. "We will talk more about our plan for housing you guys in the morning." Glory said with a wave before returning to her chambers with Deathbringer not too far behind.
"Lucky, why don't you sleep outside my hut for the night?" Lea said as Godzilla turned around only to be met with a stare from his brother.
"Lucky that's what she calls you?" Gojira said with a laugh as 'Lucky' considered punching him in the face for the comment.
"Yeah because unlike you getting injured has consequences, and also that what the humans would call me way back when." Godzilla said as he curled up into a ball falling asleep with Lea rolling her eyes.
"You damn reptile." Lea would say with a giggle before falling into a rest for the night.
Meanwhile Rodan had taken off from the group embers from his scales being left behind in the wind, as he soared through the night sky emitting an orange glow as he flew. "Strange how even in this new world the skies are always more relaxing than being on the ground." He thought before seeing a dragon also glowing this time in a more vibrant orange. "Hm wonder if that is just a coincidence or I'm seeing things." He thought diving into the trees to conceal himself.
"Great first the dragonets, then Kestrel, and now looking for a massive quake that shakes the earth. Why can't I go back to fighting in the arena." The dragon said looking bored, and tired sitting on a rock.
Intrigued, Rodan sat down in the tree closest to him only for the branch he was standing on to make a small snap when he landed. "Let's hope she didn't hear that." He said quietly as the sound of flapping wings could be heard. Looking in the direction he noticed some guards that looked to be the same as the ones with Scarlet.
"Peril. Queen Ruby has requested you to come back to the palace." One of the guards said sounding old, and rough.
"Ruby? What could she want? It's only been a day." Peril said confused as the guards lowered their spears pointing them at the dragonet.
"That is an order Peril. Disobedience could result in your death." One of the guards said before Rodan started moving closer cooling his internal reactor to cool the magma like blood flowing through him and reducing his glow even farther.
"Alright that's enough out of all of you! Who do you really work for, because if Ruby needed me she wouldn't send Scarlet loyalists." Peril said as a fight started to break out spears vs flames. At least that's what she had thought would happen before an explosive blast of magmatic rock came in between all of them.
"Sorry to interrupt your fun but a 1v3 is not really a positive in my book. Plus if this means I get to annoy that melted face hag then I'm down to fight." Rodan said a roar being let out as his dim red heated into a dark but vibrant orange.
"I don't know who you are but if you don't want to get burned, stay out of my way!" Peril said as she stepped off her rock causing the ground around her talons to be charred.
"Hey you can't just steal my line." Rodan said angered at the fact his whole thing was just stolen. "I'm supposed to be the hottest kaiju on earth." He said before realizing his own stupidity.
"Great even that nut job who bad mouthed Scarlet is here." One of the guards said as Rodan kept flicking his eyes from one of the guards to the next.
"Who cares, just kill them already." The one female guard said charging at both dragons.
"Whoa ok so no roars to signal the start we are just in this." Rodan said, dodging the spear being thrust at him.
"What kind of fool says when they attack?" One of the guards said as their spear hit Rodan and he fell over on the ground.
"AH What the hell why do these hurt so much!" He said falling over on the ground rolling in 'pain'. "God if only my weakness wasn't something so common like fire or sharp rocks!" He continued his sharade giving out little laughs in the middle of his act. "Ok ok let me introduce myself to you, because you can't do so yourself. I'm Rodan the Demon of Fire, the Conqueror of Flames, Efreeti the Spirit of Fire, and so many more titles." He said as the spear sticking in between his scales was set ablaze. "So if you are going to come at me you better prepare for the heat."
"..." Silence was in the air as all the dragons just sat looking at Rodan as if he was crazy but also a real threat now that he also had a seemingly controlled version of Peril's Firescales.
"What too much?" Rodan said as stood there spear still burning just now on the ground. "Ah who cares." He said as he let out a roar that was heard even out in the Rainwing Village.
"Screw this, let's go." One of the guards said as she looked at the Skywing who now had an orange magma like glow in between his scales and even ash was falling from his wings as they burned and healed rapidly.
"Ah come on I just want to have a small tussle." Rodan said as the group of dragons left the area all except one Peril. "So now what to do cause even after that I'm still all fired up for a fight." Rodan exclaimed as he took off the ground.
"What even are you?" Peril asked as Rodan turned around to look at her his orange glow radiating around him.
"Like I said I'm a Demon of Fire." Rodan proudly proclaimed before the sound of an echoing laugh could be heard.
"More like a show off who wants to look his best." The figure said emerging from the forest. "Come on kid, we all know it was just your chance to help out the girl in one of your hero stories again." The figure said as the dirty brown scales showed themselves.
"Anguirus, how long have you been here for?" Rodan asked, looking down in embarrassment wondering how much of his tough guy act was caught by the eldest of the Kaiju.
"Well after you let out the roar that woke everyone up I decided to check up on you." Anguirus said in a mildly annoyed tone as the youngest Kaiju let out a sigh.
As both of them were in the midst of their talk Peril had sat down on her rock and was watching as this so-called demon of fire was talking to this new breed of dragon. "OK OK OK who are you? And what are you." She said looking at Anguirus. "And as for you, what even is a Demon of Fire?"
Before Rodan could even get a word in, Anguirus approached the young dragon, his imposing size looking down on her lessons as he laid down to match her height as she sat on the rock. "I'm Anguirus and I'm a guardian from a far off land here to enjoy my time away from home. As for him He is just over playing party tricks he has learned from some of our friends. I hope he has not caused too much trouble for you tonight." Anguirus said as he plainly lied to Peril's face.
"Not buying a whole new tribe would just show up in this place right after a war for a vacation." She said, rolling her eyes and standing up to look down on the Bettlewing. "There is no way that anybody would just do something like that unless they are crazy.' Peril shouts as she puts her talon out, tapping Anguirus by accident without noticing and continues with her talk about why it didn't make sense.
"So if she is ment to become top threat to that hag then that means that she needs some reason to be on the run from that Ruby person." Rodan said with his normal owl-like head turn when he thinks. "Anguirus I have a request." Rodan said as he walked up to Peril. "I should stick around to protect her as someone very clearly came out to attack her, and as you say always protect the weak." He said as Anguirus looked over at him with a confused face.
"I Know you're lying cause when things don't go as planned you flip to the screw morals side of you so that you don't get in trouble." Angirus said with a deadpan expression.
"Oh but come on buddy." He said putting an arm around Peril. "She obviously can be on her own." He pleaded before noticing the fact that Peril was slightly colder than the magma he used to sleep in back on earth.
Peril would sit there in shock as the Pterosaur put his arm over and his scales were not getting burned. "How the hell can you do that?" She asked as she jumped to the side.
"Look girl I sleep in volcanos and was given the name the Demon of Fire. Do you think a little heat could hurt me?" He said with one of his eyes closed and a grin on his face.
"And like that we take our leave." Anguirus said as he grabbed Rodan by the tail dragging him into the forest.
"Wait but I finally have someone who can stand the heat that is me!" ROdan said as he dug his feet into the ground to no avail.
