"What is this?"
"It's like a city!" As they all stood in front of the entrance gate, some of the other examinees said:
The gate itself was massive.
while they were waiting to begin. Hatsuki overheard some of the other students already talking about Izuku.
"That guy's the one who was about to trip in front of the school gates, right? they said.
"The one who winced after being called out"
"At the very least, we have one less rival to worry about, huh?" Another person said:
Izuku was probably feeling like everyone was already against him when Hatsuki heard them all. But she was aware that she wasn't. She wished to reach out to him and encourage him.
She intended to walk over to him and talk, but as soon as she took a step in his direction, he turned away, and Present Mic's voice yelled out loud. She was taken aback.
"Okay, Start!" he yelled
"What's wrong? There are no countdowns in a real fight!" he continued.
Hatsuki turned to face the gate and dashed inside, following everyone else. When she turned around, Izuku was still standing at the gate.
She wanted to pull him in, but it was an exam, and it wouldn't last forever. She just hoped he was going to be able to pass the exam.
Her footsteps ran along the ground, and she moved in the opposite direction of everyone else. As she ran, she noticed one of the fake villains standing up. She looked around to see if there was anyone around.
The fake villain was a three-pointer; in fact, there were several of them. They were all three-pointers. Hatsuki was concerned because there were so many. Fortunately, no one was nearby, as far as she could tell. She needed to act quickly.
"She couldn't possibly take on seven three-pointers by herself, could she?" Some of the teachers were observing
We shouldn't doubt any of our potential students at U.A., the principal of the school said.
Target acquired. I'll kill you! As it prepared to fire a shot, the robot said, She quickly focused her eyes on the robot. and activated her quirk. As everything around her seemed to slow down, a colorful sphere began to form in the palm of her hand.
She let go of the sphere, and it vanished. The U.A. faculty and pro-heroes who were scoring each examinee were watching. As the sphere vanished from the screen, their faces were filled with confusion.
"Did her quirk fail?" Some of the heroes pondered.
"No, I don't think it did," All Might said as he paid attention to what was going on.
"Did anyone else notice what happened to the faux villain?" he asked, pointing to the screen and looking over at them.
They all didn't know what he was talking about. They then started paying close attention to her on the screen.
What appeared to be a failure turned out to be a success. a split second after the sphere vanished. Boom!
The robot in front of her exploded, but not only that but all the others behind it exploded one after the other.
It shook the surrounding area, and some of the other examinees felt the shock wave, but not too strongly.
All of the faculty members were stunned, unable to comprehend what her quirk had just done. Her power fascinated them all, and they yearned to learn more about it.
Hatsuki took a deep breath after that attack. "I didn't realize I was using so much force. However, the energy from the robots should be sufficient to get her through the rest of the exam."
She started running again, hoping to find more faux villains, but she came to a halt when she heard a scream.
She looked back and saw one of the examinees stuck to one of the faux villains' pieces. Hatsuki became concerned when she realized he was stuck because of her quirk.
She dashed to his aid. removing the metal piece that was on top of his arm She assisted him in getting to his feet. Fortunately, he was not seriously hurt.
She considered using her quirk to assist him but refused because she wasn't sure how it would react to him and it was a part of her quirk she couldn't control. So, after getting him back on his feet, she went on the hunt for more ways to earn points.
Present Mic then came over into the air. "Six minutes and two seconds left!"
"I've got to hurry," she said as she ran, becoming anxious because she only had 21 battle points. Fortunately, as the number of villains decreased, she focused her efforts on assisting those who appeared to be in need.
Being a hero does include rescuing those in danger. As a result, it had to be factored into the practical
As she continued the exam, she was lucky enough to draw out another group of faux villains; the only concern was whether she could take them all out with the rest of her strength.
She still had some energy left, but this time there were seven 2-pointers and seven 3-pointers. What did I do to find so many? she wondered worriedly, even as she felt grateful. With her 21 points, she could be the only one to take them all out, bringing her total to 56.
She was once again concerned about others being around, but with the end of the practical approaching, she couldn't worry too much about it, so she tried her best to keep it in mind.
As the faux villains gathered around her, she had to hold her breath as another color sphere formed in the palm of her hand.
It was draining her quickly, and she wasn't sure she could do it. She was concentrating so hard not to lose control that all she needed was for it to be slightly larger than before. As she let go of the sphere in her hand, everything around her began to slow down. It vanished once more.
It took a few seconds longer than her first attack, but that was expected given the larger sphere. She jumped into the air and pointed down at the group for this attack. As soon as her feet touched the battleground again.
Boom!
The fake villain in front of her exploded into the air, followed by the other 13 robots. Everything began to feel as if it were moving normally again. Hatsuki was overjoyed that she was able to use her quirk without losing control and that no one else was harmed. So, hopefully.
But the backlash from her quirk caught up with her, and she collapsed exhaustedly to the ground. She huffed, "Not yet; it's not over."
She struggled a little to get back up, but she was able to run again, albeit much slower than before. I have to be careful, or I'll pass out.
With her remaining strength, she had no choice but to concentrate on rescue points. She eventually made it to a section of the center where more examinees were gathered.
But when the 0-pointer appeared, everyone stopped and looked. Whiplash is caused by punching the ground. Hatsuki lost her balance and fell to the ground as a result. She lacked the strength to get up and run. She didn't realize she'd already reached her limit. Maybe even beyond it.
"Help", she said, and even she noticed someone else whose leg was stuck under a piece of concrete.
Izuku noticed the two of them in trouble. When he saw Hatsuki, the image of her giving back his notebook flashed through his mind. and he ran towards the 0-pointer.
Hatsuki noticed him, and the scene of him charging in to save Katsuki from the sludge villain resurfaced in her mind. She wanted him to forget about her and keep running at that moment.
He didn't have a quirk, so how could he help her and the other girl? But then again, he never stopped surprising her.
His legs turn a different color as if they were charging with energy. He then leaped into the air. He took down the 0-pointer with such a powerful force and only one punch.
All of the examinees were astounded. Hatsuki knew she shouldn't have done it, but there was so much energy coming off of him that she couldn't help herself. She wasn't concerned about her quirk spiraling out of control because she was exhausted. and was able to get back up with enough strength to pull the girl out of the concrete, whom she noticed had some sort of gravity quirk.
Izuku then descended quickly from the sky. Izuku's energy ended up backlashing on her, and she became too exhausted to try to stop him from splattering all over the ground.
Thankfully, the gravity girl was able to use her quirk to save Izuku's life. But I guess she overdid it because she proceeded to throw up.
Time's up! The present mic is announced.
Hatsuki was relieved that it was over, and Izuku was fine. His body was shattered, but he was still alive. Her face brightened with a smile. He helped her once more, and she was grateful. Her body then collapsed on her as exhaustion from using her quirk overtook her. and everything vanished, turning pitch black.
