Things have finally begun to calm down after recent events. No strange crimes were appearing out of nowhere, probably because the criminals were terrified by the idea of Venom attacking. Luckily this gave Hiro time to get Peter a newly designed suit while also giving him time to truly recover from his time with the Symbiote. They were also just hanging out at Noodle Burger for some time off from heroics.
"Fred, when do you have your own table here?" Hiro wonders.
"Since I became a Noodle Burger Titanium member," Fred explained, showing the plaque he had on the table. "I also get priority seating in the ball pit." They looked over to the ballpit full of kids. "Feel free to try it out."
"No thank you," Wasabi stated. "Ball pits are where germs go to party."
"Thanks for doing this with me, guys," Peter told Hiro, Fred, and Wasabi, noticing Baymax was with them. "With everything that's been happening, some normalcy is just what the doctor ordered." He then looked over to Baymax with a chuckle. "No pun intended."
"What pun?" Baymax didn't seem to get the joke.
"Glad to see you back to your old self, Peter." Hiro was glad to see him making corny jokes again. "It's been...weird with everything that happened."
"Yeah, try being the one attached to the creature," Peter stated with a groan. He then took in a deep sigh. "It was like I was... addicted to that thing."
"With the power that it gave you, I don't blame you," Hiro stated. "Must have been hard to get it off."
"Rejecting power to constantly heal? Be full of energy and no need of sleep?" Peter asked sarcastically. "And not to mention the constant nightmares when I did sleep, the voices in my head, constant blackouts, and the inability to touch fire or loud noise. And becoming easily agitated and ditching my best friends, and only learning afterward that it was actually an alien I was wearing. Nah, it was easy."
"Yeah! Oh! Hee-hee! Yeah! Oh! Hee-hee!" Weird music got their attention, leading them to watch a strange robot mascot for Noodbe Burger. "I'd do anything for a Noodle Burger 'Cause Noodle Burgers are really swell, yeah If I could, I'd marry Noodle Burger 'Cause Noodle Burgers ring my bell Ding-dong!"
Fred watched the robot come over to their table and stop. "Guys, meet Noodle Burger Boy. He's Noodle Burger's new customer happiness mascot bot."
"Howdy and hello, Mr. Fred." Noodle Burger Boy greeted him. "Welcome back to Noodle Burger, where we do swell well. You can't beat Noodle Burger! I'll have our noodle dudes make your Friday favorite, a Noodle Burger, crunchy style! Bring the heat! WTMP."
And with that, Noodle Burger Boy walked off and went into the kitchen, leaving them all confused. "What did any of that mean?" Hiro asks.
"'Crunchy style' means I like my noodle bun extra crunchy. "Bring the heat" means add chili sauce." Fred recapped. "And "WTMP" stands for "way too many pickles. Obviously on that one."
Then they watched as Noodle Burger Boy came out of the kitchen with a burger that indeed had way too many pickles on it. "That is way too many pickles," Peter commented. "Those can't be healthy for you."
"He's basically psychic," Fred commented on Noodle Burger Boy. "Can I get a little-"
"Ketchup? Coming right up!" Noodle Burger Boy stated as he then shot ketchup from his palm and onto Fred's burger.
" A-ha! See what I'm talking about?" Fred said.
"Sorry, misters, since we just met, I am unable to predict your orders," Noodle Burger Boy said as he started to make a personal file based on Wasabi, Peter, and Hiro to predict their orders. "But I can't wait to get to know you!"
"Not exactly psychic, but it is a killer prediction algorithm." Hiro complimented.
Baymax then came into Noodle Burger Boy frame. "Gee whiz, mister, would you like some Noodle Burger stickers? Of me, Noodle Burger Boy?"
Baymax watched as Noodle Burger Boy started to plant stickers all over Baymax. "He is a robot."
"Yes, he is." Hiro conformed.
"What is his function?" Baymax asks.
"I spread happiness," Noodle Burger Boy tells Baymax. "And stickers! Yay, me!" He then started to place more stickers over Bayax. "You look extra swell."
"Thank you," Baymax replied.
"You're welcome."
Late at night, the door to Noodle Burger opened and Obake made his way inside. He approached Noodle Burger Boy who was on a platform and being charged. When he woke up to the door opening, he saw Obake but being an android didn't see any danger coming.
"Howdy, and hello, mister! Noodle Burger is now closed." Noodle Burger Boy tells him. "Can I help you with something else?"
"Yes," Obake replied. "I believe you can." He then placed a chip inside of his head. "You and I are going to get to know Big Hero 9."
"And then Noodle Burger Boy, guess what?" Fred said the next day at school. "He gave me some stickers." He showed off the stickers with pride.
"That's great," Wasabi said, focusing on his project.
"You guys aren't looking," Fred said as everyone was walking around the labs.
"I don't understand why you wouldn't look, they're stickers!" Fred cried, showing the stickers off.
"That's great, Freddy." Honey tried to encourage him. "You seem really happy."
"Uh, yes, Honey Lemon, I am happy," Fred stated. "I have stickers."
"I was not designed to remove stickers," Baymax commented, noticing the stickers were still attached to him.
Fred ran over to try out the stickers. "Baymax, my man! Did you get scratch 'n sniff?" Fred started sniffing the robot. "Yes. Yes, you did."
"Alright, Pete. Your new suit is ready." Peter said, revealing a new outfit he designed for Peter.
"New suit?" Peter was a little confused about that. "I thought you were just fixing my old one."
"I considered it, but I also figured, why not make some improvements?" Hiro shrugged and pulled open the container holding Peter's new outfit.
Peter's suit design is based on athletic wear and compression clothing, which gives it a sleek and modern look. The suit features a red, orange, and blue color scheme, with the red color being more prominent. The blue color is concentrated around the legs, and the suit has white hand patches that extend up to the suit's wrists. The most distinctive feature of the suit is the large white spider on the chest, which replaces the traditional small black spider or even his most recent golden spider. The spider has long legs that end at the thin blue piping of the suit.
"The suit also features modernized shoes with a sneaker-style design instead of knee-high boots. It still has the web wings that can be deployed." Hiro tells him. "Wanna try it out?"
"And you better try it out quick," GoGo tells them. "We got a tip on something going on downtown."
There was indeed something going on downtown as there was a speeding streetcar making its way downwards and about to crash. The crew were fast at the scene when they saw the car and were fast to help stop it from crashing.
"I've got this one!" Peter then glided in and did a roll before throwing his arms, expecting tendrils to fly out and snatch it. But after a quick second, he smacked himself for not remembering. "Right. No Symbiote powers."
"Well, Spider-Man is going through Symbiote withdrawal," Teresa commented and flew up to the street car. "Yeah, I don't have much to offer on the way of stopping this thing." She then came up with an idea as she looked at her jetpack. "Or maybe I do."
Teresa then made her way to the front of the streetcar and began using her jetpack and pushing her hands against to slow down their descent. While they were all doing so, there was something in the distance tracking them and beginning to track and collect data.
GoGo sped up to the side of the car and began to collect a few people off of it. "This is your stop!"
Fred then came up to it and grabbed a few people. "Don't worry, I'm not an actual lizard. This is just a very convincing costume." Then he leaped and helped a few of them only for one to cling to his back. "Uh, guys, I got a clinger!"
"We're on it!" Honey said as she placed a few Chem balls on the passengers. "Go! Go! Go!"
Peter came in and shot out a web net before throwing them off of the car into the net. "New high score!"
All of them then jumped while Baymax came by and grabbed the street car, finally bringing it to a halt. Teresa sighed as her arms were weak for trying to push the car.
"Couldn't have done that earlier?" Teresa groans.
"Baymax, what caused this?" Peter wonders.
Baymax did a scan of the vehicle. "The emergency brakes were cut. I detect a slight amount of...ketchup."
"Ketchup?" Peter asks in confusion. "That's strange. And I was infused with an alien for a month."
"Two months." GoGo corrected him.
"Really?" Peter was surprised to hear. "Wow. Where'd all that time go?"
Then all of a sudden, Peter's senses went off, alerting him something was coming in. And all of a sudden, a giant impact came behind them, spooking everyone and causing them to flinch and turn towards what caused the impact.
"Now what is going on?" Peter asked.
Then what came out of the smoke, was something none of them was expecting. Clunking its way out of the smoke, standing tall and mighty, there was the Invincible Iron Man.
"Iron Man?" Peter was shocked to see Stark.
"Uh, what's he doing here?" Hiro asked in confusion.
"No idea." Peter shrugged.
Fred then squeals. "Has he come to make us Avengers?"
"Highly doubt it, Fred," GoGo stated.
"Iron Man, if that's who you really are in there, hey, what's going on?" Peter asked as he stepped forward. "Not enough chaos in New York you gotta come to San Fransokyo? Or is this about the whole, I tried to kill Captain America thing?"
Then Stark raised his repulser, causing them all to jump and move out of the way as the repulser went off, sending a giant shockwave of energy that exploded the streetcar. Then Iron Man took to the skies and opened fire on the team, causing them to duck for cover or find a way to cover themselves. Baymax however was taken by the streetcar blowing up, sending them flying and knocking him out.
"Why's he doing this?!" Honey asked as they cowered behind a Chem ball shield.
"I don't think this is the Iron Man we think it is," Peter stated, swinging around Iron Man who opened fire. "Not that there are a ton of red and yellow Avengers running around. But something isn't-" Stark sent missiles toward Peter, who webbed the sensors, followed with him webbing his feet to slam him into the ground. "Alright, I don't know what's going on here, but-"
Before he could finish that thought, Iron Man blasted him, sending Peter flying and crashing into the side of a house. GoGo came speeding in and throwing her disks, trying to find a weak point against his armor. Iron Man then turned and released missiles after her, causing GoGo to speed off down the street, allowing Fred to use his fire breath.
"Eat fire!" Fred cried as he blasted the missiles, sending them up in smoke.
Teresa came flying and shot out a rope to then fly around and wrap it around Iron Man, wrapping him in a rope. Only for the suit to send an electrical charge, sending Teresa flying and crashing into the ground. She rolled and slammed into the ground, groaning and saw Iron Man aim a repulser at her.
"No!" Peter cried as he used his speed and strength to sucker punch the mask, sending it flying. Peter froze in fear as he thought he might have just killed an Avenger. "I-did I?" Then he realized the suit was empty. "What?!"
"Empty?" Wasabi asked, picking up the mask. "What's going on?"
"First of all, big relief that Iron Man didn't go nuts. But that's then upsides by the feeling of concern and a touch of fear." Peter admitted as he passed the team. "I'm gonna go look for some answers."
Peter then swung off and left the team behind to find some answers.
"Well, I know what this calls for," Fred stated as he walked off.
Fred found himself muttering the Noodle Burger Boy song as he made his way toward the Noodle Burger establishment. But when he found himself there, he gasped to see all of the missing poster boys for the missing Noodle Boy.
"What?!" Fred cried as he saw the manager placing up the posters. "Noodle Burger Boy is missing?!"
"I'm afraid so, Mr. Fredrickson." She confirmed. "when I opened this morning, his charging port was empty."
"Empty?!" Fred cried in fear.
"Poor little guy is out there alone." The manager said in worry. "He doesn't know what the world is like. It's not all sunshine and noodle pies!"
"Do not give up on him, Sara!" Fred stated, trying to comfort him. "We will get through this."
"You're right." Sara tried to put up a brave front. "He would want me to be strong,"
But it didn't take long for her to break down and hold onto Fred. He tried to be comforting and patted her back.
"Noodle emergency!" Fred called as he ran into the labs at SFIT. He was trying to get everyone to help him find the missing mascot.
"Sorry, Fred," Hiro said as he was busy working on something. "Peter asked me to track the trajectory of the Iron Man armor, try and figure out where it came from. He thinks the Avengers might have actually set up a shop here in the city considering how fast that suit got here. I can't stop to help you look for Noodle Boy."
"Noodle Burger Boy!" Fred corrected. "How could you forget the burger part? That's where his face is."
"It sure is," Hiro replied, focusing on something. "Alright, Pete, I'm sending you some coordinates. Might be something but I'll keep looking just in case."
"Thanks. If they check out, I'll contact you guys to meet up with me."
"We can help you out, Fred." Honey offered, looking towards her friends. "Teresa? GoGo?"
"How else would I want to spend my free time?" GoGo asked sarcastically.
"I guess I can help out." Teresa shrugged.
Fred then ran over and squeezed GoGo with a hug. "Thanks, girls. Man, you're the best. I promise you, you won't regret it."
That night, Fred, GoGo, Honey, and Teresa were in their suits and on top of the Noodle Burger building. GoGo was less than enthusiastic about the whole thing.
"The night was dark..." Fred narrated.
"I regret it." GoGo sighed.
"But what was even darker was the thought of a world without Noodle Burger Boy." Fred kept narrating.
"No sign of Noodle Burger Boy," Honey commented.
Teresa came flying over and landed beside them, her wings retracting. "It may be time to call it a night, Fred. We aren't going to find it."
"But we can't give up," Fred said. "This was his last known location. There has to be a clue around here somewhere. Anything! Footprint, a piece of clothing, a strand of hair, which, you know, thinking about it, I guess that would be lettuce."
"Gee whiz, mister How about Noodle Burger Boy showing up in person?" Noodle Burger Boy asked and turned up on the edge of the building.
"Well, yeah, that's more than a clue, but I like the positive-thinking Noodle Burger Boy." Fred didn't seem to have it clicked yet. "Wait a minute, if you're here, - then that means you're here!" He finally clicked and ran over towards Noodle Burger Boy.
"Howdy and hello!" Noodle Burger Boy said with a wave before pointing away. "Golly, look over there, mister!"
"What? Where?" Fred asked, only for a surprise when Fred was kicked by Noodle Burger Boy and sent flying with how hard he was kicked.
"Crunchy style!" Noodle Burger Boy said as Teresa flew and shot a grapple line to catch Fred before he could hit the ground. "Hee-hee. Hee-hee."
"Noodle Burger Boy, how could you?" Honey asked as Teresa landed gently with Fred.
"Gee whiz, miss, it was awfully easy. I just kicked him!" Noodle Burger Boy stated as he even demonstrated the kick.
"Yeah, we got that part," GoGo replied. "Why?"
"Well, golly, because I'm programmed to collect information and adapt, so I adapted to the evil style, with all the fixings!" Noodle Burger Boy stated as if it were obvious. "Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee."
"Well, adapt this!" GoGo said as she threw her disk towards Noodle Burger Boy to stop him.
"Looks like your usual order, miss!" Noodle Burger Boy said as he dodged the disk.
"Take that!" Teresa started to randomly fire on the mascot.
"You can't beat Noodle Burger Boy," Noodle Burger Boy stated while he just moved out of the way.
"He can predict every move." Honey was realizing this as she threw one of her Chem balls.
"Predict this!" GoGo cried as she sped in to try and stop him, only to get kicked and sent flying off the roof. "Ah! Ah! Ahhh!"
"Thank you! Come again!" Noodle Burger Boy said as Fred leaped to save her. Teresa landed quickly and fired as fast as she could, only for Noodle Burger Boy to jump out of the way. "Hop!"
"Would you stop throwing people off the roof?" Fred asked Noodle Burger Boy. "Come on!"
"If you are not happy with your service, please fill out a comment card," Noodle Burger Boy said as he then took a comment card out of his head. "I'd love to hear from ya!"
"Hear this!" GoGo began to speed in to try and attack.
"Feel the flavor!" Noodle Burger Boy then leaped into the air and shot out condiments on the heroes.
"Ketchup?" Honey questioned when she saw what she was covered in.
"And mustard," GoGo commented as she wiped her vizor to see.
"Ugh!" Teresa cried when she got mayonnaise. "It had to be mayonnaise."
"Say hello to Noodle Burger, then say goodbye to the hungries!" Noodle Burger Boy said as he started to rapidly punch Fred, but he was luckily protected by the suit.
"Noodle Burger Boy, where is all this anger coming from?" Fred wonders.
"Ah, ah, ah! Why won't you surrender?" Noodle Burger Boy asked then leaped backwards. "Gosh, I can predict your moves, but I cannot defeat you unless I upgrade to combo size!" Then he leaped off the roof into a go-kart and escaped since Teresa's pack was jammed with ketchup.
"Aw, man." Fred groaned when he saw Noodle Burger Boy escape. "I always wanted to make a daring go-kart escape."
Back with Peter, he was making his way over to one of the facilities that might be owned by the Avengers. Stark had a lot of facilities across the city, especially ever since the Man-Spider incident, and all of them he had already come across were already destroyed or already attacked by something. So the armor that attacked them was definitely not a contained incident.
"Guys, I reached the last facility. Anyone wanna join me on this one?" Peter asked his team. "I'd appreciate the backup."
"We're already on our way," Hiro said.
Peter then swung his way downward as he watched GoGo, Tersa, Honey, and Fred were the first to arrive and they looked like they just come from a fight. "Uh, are you okay?" He wondered as he saw they were exhausted. "You look like you just came from a fight."
"I don't wanna talk about it," Teresa replied in anger. "I just need a win tonight."
Baymax and Hiro came down with Wasabi, followed by Peni landing in her SP//DR, and the entire team was finally reunited. Peter then allowed Baymax to break the door open and let them in.
"Knock-knock, Iron Man!" Peter cried as he swung into the building to see it seemed to be either just empty or evacuated. "You missing any armor or other weapons of mass destruction?"
Then all of a sudden, his senses alerted him right before the floor was ruptured, causing them all to jump out of the way to dodge the debris coming. There they see an Iron Man suit and all get ready to defend themselves against the armor.
"There better be a goateed rich guy underneath that armor, or you're about to get a whooping that'll turn your iron butt into tin foil!" Peter dared the armor to strike.
To their relief, the Iron Man opened his mask to reveal that there was indeed a goateed man inside named Tony Stark. "Sounds like you're having a night as bad as mine." He then approached the hole he made on his way up. "Sup, webs?"
"Mr. Iron Man." Hiro greeted. "What's going on?"
"My hall of armor has been breached," Tony explained as he prepared to leap back into the hole. "You might wanna sit this one out."
"Yeah, that's not our strong suit," Peter stated as he leaped into the hole.
"So, we gonna sit here, or follow?" GoGo asks.
As the team descended into the hole, they were met with a surprising sight. In front of them was an entire armory of Iron Man suits that had gone rogue and were currently attacking the one carrying Tony Stark. The situation was dire, and the heroes knew they had to act fast to help their friend.
Without wasting a second, Peter spun his web and used it to connect two armors together before slamming them into each other with tremendous force. He then used a taser web to attack another armor, successfully disabling it.
As Wasabi locked onto his target with his lasers, he managed to slice through the armor and disable it too. However, he was caught off guard and attacked from behind by another armor.
Honey Lemon quickly came to his rescue and threw a chem-ball, which helped to get the swarm of armors off his back. Baymax and Hiro combined their skills to send a rocket fist flying toward one of the armors, punching a gaping hole in it and causing it to shut down.
GoGo's speed was a valuable asset as she raced around the armors, throwing disks at incredible speeds. Her aim was impeccable as the disks knocked into each other, slicing the helmets off of the main armor.
Meanwhile, Fred leaped around the armors, using his fire breath to melt them away and disable them. Peni's spider-like reflexes allowed her to move quickly, grabbing two different sets of armor before spinning around and crashing them into other suits of armor in the process.
Teresa, who was flying around, managed to shoot down a few of the armor with her taser weapons. Finally, Iron Man flew into the fray and slammed his fist right through one of his own armors, effectively shutting them all down and saving the day.
Peter then walked over to Tony and looked over to one of the armors with a strange structure. "What's with the nose? Like in cases you needed to wipe your nose in a fight?"
"I was going through an anatomical phase." Tony defended. "Be lucky you didn't see the armor with the-"
"Another time!" Teresa immediately interrupted him. "Or maybe never the more I think about it."
"Okay, what is going on here?" GoGo went to the point.
"That!" Tony pointed over toward a computer set and they saw to their shock Noodle Burger Boy was hacking into Tony's systems. He was protected behind some sort of shield barrier that would keep him separated from the rest of them. "That walking meal toy found its way in here and has been hacking my systems."
"That's what it's doing?" Teresa was seriously confused.
"Well, he threw one of your life-sized action figures at us earlier," Peter informed Tony.
"It did what?" Tony asked in surprise. Then all of the defenses to the base activated, coming in the form of turrets in the ceiling. "We gotta get out of here!"
"What about Noodle Burger Boy?" GoGo asks.
"I'll purge the data from outside! I can't connect to the network unless I want to lose the armor I'm wearing!" Tony said as they all made their way outside.
When they made their way outside, they watched as the facility released all of its resources to shoot the team down which also included missiles. When the team made their way outside, they missed Iron Man flying off to make his way to purge the systems from all the data.
"So, this is a new one," Peter commented.
The next day, the team went to their labs to figure out their next move to fight off Noodle Burger boy. But to say none of them were entirely sure how to fight a robot mascot that according to the group, could predict their moves was an understatement.
"Okay, I don't get it," Peter said as he looked over the footage from his suit. "Why would a fast food mascot wanna steal Stark tech?"
"Maybe it got jealous of all the stuff Stark's tech gets to do." Teresa joked.
"Or maybe it was hacked." Peni offered.
"Guys, we've got Professor Granville inbound," GoGo warned. "And she looked...happy."
"Please tell me it isn't another visitor," Peter begged, remembering the last time.
"We have a visitor incoming!" Granville crushed that idea. "And he is coming to meet all of you."
"And who is this guy?" Wasabi wonders.
Then the doorway opened, causing them to notice it was Tony Stark wearing the casual sunglasses he likes wearing, even indoors. His arc reactor on his chest was a dead giveaway on who he is.
"I'd be insulted if I needed an introduction," Tony told them as he strolled into the room. Then he got a look at Baymax and seemed to admire the robot. "Hello to you."
"Hello, I am Baymax." Baymax greeted him.
"You definitely are," Tony said with a grin. Then he turned to Granville. "Would it be doable to be alone with them for five minutes?"
"Anything for you, Mr. Stark," Granville said as she then left the room.
Tony sighed as he turned to the team. "Alright, great. Now we can get down to business." He then turned back to the crew. "Now, first thing's first, I know you guys are Big Hero 9."
"Wait, you know what?" Hiro was shocked to hear. "I mean, how do you- how is that possible?"
"Come on, you guys have visors, which might fool a lot of people, including that girl in the basement, but I have a million-dollar company, and am a super genius," Tony stated with a grin. "And also it didn't take long since you all major in the skills the team uses. Lasers, chemicals, speed, I mean, the writing is on the wall. Not to mention that you're all using your nicknames in the field. But don't worry, I have also been keeping everyone else from discovering it, especially since after the whole Jackal incident."
"So, you came here because...?" Hiro was a little confused.
"Even though I purged the data from the building, that Happy Meal toy still made it with a lot of data," Tony explains. "Including my secret stashes of armor throughout the city."
"You have more than one?" Hiro was surprised to hear.
"Yeah, and I think that I know which one specifically he is after," Tony said as he showed them one of his facilities that was housing the Hulkbuster. "This is armor number 44, aka the Hulkbuster armor."
"Hulkbuster?" Hiro asks.
"It was designed to take down the Hulk just in case the time became necessary," Tony explained to them. "Since you guys tore through the other armor, he's likely going to level up his game."
"It would be better to defeat him if we knew where he came from," Teresa stated.
"I tried calling the manager, she said she doesn't know where he was made," GoGo told them.
"I might have a clue," Fred stated as he reached for his suit. "He left it on my butt!"
Then he showed his suit that had the KreiTech logo on it. "KreiTech."
"Why is it always KreiTech?" Peter wonders.
"You know what that means. Krei makes shoes!" Fred stated, missing the point.
Tony then leaned over to the others, leaving Fred out of the whisper. "You keep him around for laughs, right?"
Bringing this to Krei, they managed to get a meeting with him with Tony's help. Krei showed them the blueprints that brought Noodle Burger Boy to life. They saw nothing really special about the robot as it seemed kinda normal.
"Noodle Burger asked us to build the ultimate nostalgic robot boy mascot, and that's what we did," Krei explained and showed the prints and layers that went into making Noodle Burger Boy.
"Ah! He makes me wish I was an old-timey boy." Fred said with awe.
"Fred, not now," Teresa tells him.
"Is he made out of military-grade titanium?" GoGo asks.
"Well yeah, funny story," Krei said as he then showed the old parts of an old project. "The inner mechanism is from an abandoned robot soldier project. It was taking up space in R ."
Tony groaned and smacked his head. "And people wonder why I don't give my Iron Suit to the government."
Honey was trying to wrap her head around it. "So that means, in addition to being able to predict our every move, he's-"
"Indestructible, yes, yes," Krei confirmed. "But adorable. You can't fight that smile."
"I can't believe I gave my heart to Noodle Burger, and now its boy is going to destroy me," Fred stated.
"Well, I swore off dairy, but then Ben & Jerry's named a flavor after me, so…" Tony commented. "Alright, thanks, Krei. Let's go."
"You know, Stark if you wanna talk-"
"I'm good!" Tony called as he left.
"Okay, guys, this really looks like this is going to be a hard one," Teresa called out to the team through comms. "Any ideas?"
"We might have something," Peter stated. "Just get there and try to slow him down."
Noodle Burger Boy had already made his way into Stark's hall of armory. Using the multitude of armors he had already hijacked on his way over, he hacked into Stark's mainframe while everyone else was running for their lives. Finally activating the Hulkbuster armor, he jumped inside and kept the head of it open to keep himself in control.
"Golly gee, mister. This meal comes with a free toy!" Noodle Burger Boy declared as he tried to get a feel for the suit. But then he was blasted in the back, causing him to turn around and see Stark, Teresa, GoGo, Honey, and Fred. "Ah, Big Hero 9."
"Alright, you Cheese-burglar!" Tony quipped as he prepared to fire yet again. "Get out of the armor! And shut down!"
"Gee whiz mister, what does this doohickey do?" Noodle Burger Boy asked as he pushed a button that fired off the fist of the armor, sending it flying toward the heroes.
"Get down!" Honey cried as they all jumped out of the way to avoid the fist.
"Hey, wait a minute..." Fred was starting to see some similarities.
"Yeah, yeah, you can sue me later!" Tony cried as he flew into the air to get his armor back. "JARVIS, where are we getting into the systems?" Then he waited for a response but heard nothing back. "JARVIS?"
"Golly, mister," Noodle Burger Boy said as he fired and shot Stark out of the sky. Stark was sent crashing into the ground, skidding and slamming into the Hulkbuster. Then he seems to have gotten a hand on the repulser charge. "I'm going to deep fry you, extra crunchy style!"
"Deep fry this!" GoGo cried as she came racing in.
GoGo then began throwing her disks to attack Noodle Burger Boy, only for him to quickly activate the helmet to keep his head safe. Then he sent the rocket fist back towards GoGo, causing her to make a quick dodge and roll up the wall onto a safe area.
Honey snuck her way around the armor and prepared a goo Chem ball so she could stop it from working. But that didn't work as Noodle Burger Boy then caught it and threw it back towards Honey. Before it hit her, Fred jumped in the way to stop it from catching her.
"I always wanted to dive to save someone like this!" Fred proclaimed.
Teresa then flew around, shooting tasers to try and take him down, but every strike was only ending with Noodle Burger Boy shooting off a missile that caused the roof above to cave in, and crush Teresa. Luckily her force field kept her safe from being crushed, but that didn't stop her from being harmed.
Stark flew over and aimed his chest repulsor at the Hulkbuster. "Full power!"
But the power didn't do much and just ended with him being attacked and punched into the ground. Then he immediately started to punch Stark with a constant punch, causing Stark's armor to become damaged.
GoGo then sped over and grabbed Honey before the Hulkbuster could attack her. When they got far enough, GoGo released Honey and threw her disk to try and hit the arc reactor. But that didn't end well when NBB stopped it immediately.
"Golly, miss. So predictable." NBB mocked her.
"What do we do?" Honey wonders.
GoGo tried to come up with a plan. "You try to short-"
"Short out my suit with one of your chem balls, while she skates around me real fast and hits me with one of her discs." NBB seemed to have already predicted their plan. "Or I could suggest a new order." He then shot out a net that captured them. "Clean up on table five! Hey! Hee-hee-hee! I do swell, well!"
Fred tried to get out of the chem ball. "We will beat you! Our friends will be here to save us."
"I know everything they are going to do, too." NBB proclaimed. "Heh. That's the Noodle Burger Boy guarantee!"
" Hey! You might wanna rethink that." Hiro called.
Looking upward, they saw that everyone was now wearing each other's outfits. Peter was wearing Wasabi's armor, while Wasabi was wearing his Spider-Man attire, Hiro was inside of the SP//DR suit, and Peni was on the back of Baymax.
"Yeah! We'd like to place an order for payback." Wasabi stated.
"Gee whiz, something changed! My algorithm is out of whack." NBB stated as he tried to predict them while they were all in different attire. "I cannot predict what you will do. So, I guess I'll just have to beat you with brute force. Hee-hee! Hee-hee!"
NBB then shot out a rocket fist, causing them all to run and scatter to do their thing. Peni shrieked when Baymax took to the skies and was working as a distraction. SP made its way over to the Hulkbuster while Hiro was shrieking inside.
"Yeah, this thing was definitely not made for me," Hiro stated.
"Well, that was half of the idea," Peter said as the rocket fist came his way. Then he quickly used the lasers to cut through the armor, causing it to splice into two. "Whoo. My reflexes are coming back."
"Good for you!" Peni cried as she was getting used to the whole hanging from Baymax. "Ever tried hanging from a robot before?!"
"Once!" Peter admitted as he leaped to avoid a chunk of debris. "Wasabi? Give us some cover!"
Wasabi then ran and aimed at the web shooters. "Okay, let's see how this works!" He then shot off the web canisters Peter had reversed for Wasabi to be capable of using. "Whoo!"
The webbing managed to hit NBB in the face, blinding him instantly. SP then got to work and sped over to spin and splice the legs of the Hulkbuster armor.
"I bet you didn't see that coming." Peter mocked.
"Golly, mister, I did not! You're really starting to grill my bun!" NBB said as the suit fell over and crashed into the ground. "That is not swell, mister!"
Then they quickly helped their friends escape their predicament and got them free of their traps. "You good?" Peter asked as he freed his sister.
"I'm fine." Teresa groaned, cracking her back. "Okay, a few things feel broken."
"You can have this back," Hiro said as he stepped out of the SP//DR suit. "I will stick to my robot any day."
SP's face went from one of happy to offensive. "He doesn't mean that." Peni apt her robot on the head. "He just knows we belong together more."
"Hiro," Baymax called out.
"Yeah, Baymax?" Hiro asked.
"Noodle Burger Boy is getting away." Baymax gestured over to the escaping robot.
Noodle Burger Boy was indeed back in his gocart and managed to escape. He drove off and giggled on an escape out of the area. All of them were either out of their normal traveling gear, and wouldn't be able to get there in time to catch him.
"Great, I need to add that guy to one of our dozens of sworn enemies," Peter growled.
Stark groaned as he stood up. "Well, at least we managed to get him out of my systems."
"How?" GoGo wonders.
"The further he gets, the more control I have again," Stark explained. "And now, all I need to do is reset the systems." He then did exactly they and all of his armors started to shut down and stop attacking anywhere they were.
Stark sighed as he was walking around the halls of SFIT with Peter and Hiro as they were discussing better security for his hall of armor. And it turns out that even Stark went to the school a few years back.
"So, if you don't mind me asking..why do many armored suits?" Peter wonders.
"You kidding? With everything that went down, I should have had more." Stark scoffed as he sighed. "But I guess I can return a few of them to New York. Big Hero 9 are enough to keep the city safe."
"Thanks, I guess," Hiro commented.
"Nice to see that this school hasn't really changed much as when I was a student." Stark commented as he walked around. "And a little surprised to see Grandvill back."
"Back?" Peter asked. "Didn't she just start working here?"
"Oh, no, she was a teacher here when I was a student." Stark commented.
Hiro got confused when he heard that and went to check something out.
"You do well for yourself with them." Stark complimented Peter's work. "You know, the Avengers has positions for additional members of the team."
"What...wait, are you asking me to join the Avengers?" Peter questioned.
"Am I?" Stark asked with a grin, placing his glasses on. "If you or your friends need anything, don't hesitate to give me a call." He handed Peter a card with his personal number. "Think about my offer when you graduate. And it pays pretty well."
Then Stark walked off and Peter looked down at the card.
TONY STARK
YOU KNOW WHO I AM
And there was indeed his number underneath.
A spot among the Avengers?
But while things seemed to be going good for Peter, things were only getting worse for Eddie Brock. After being outed for falsifying photos to frame the heroes, he was discarded and a disgrace to anyone and he couldn't get a job anywhere.
"I'm not even asking to staff there." Eddie said over the phone. "Why would I do that? I can't use my name. I can use a pseudonym. Any name. Think... You pick a name. I could be a woman. Have you seen Tootsie?"
But all that happened was that they hung up. And when Eddie looked down at the paper, he saw another photo taken by Peter with the heroes taking down the Hulkbuster armor.
Eddie screamed and threw the paper everywhere, indicating how angry he was with Peter. He wanted to get his revenge. But how?
Then he knew if he could get some dirt on Peter, that could even things up. But where was he going to find that?
The one place he knew where Peter was going to be.
SFIT.
Noodle Burger Boy made it back to Obake and reported to him.
"Sorry I messed up your order, sir." Burger boy tells him.
Obake then walked over and opened his back. "Oh, I wouldn't say that." He then put all of the data together and revealed he was after the identify of all of the members of the team. "I say you did just fine."
