Cat Noire and Ladybug just saved the day, so Adrien did the same thing he did now with his free time ever since he got the cat miraculous. Watch the news, what was on was about the election for mayor that had just ended and Andre Bourgeois won again. Properly through bribery and trashing his opponent's reputation, Adrien thought grimly. That was until Nathalie said "Adrien it's time for school." Adrien immediately went to school excited because they (his class) was holding class elections for president and vice president of the class. Until he found out the Chloe and Sabrina were running for president and vice president respectively and have been in those positions in the class in the past years where Chloe abused her power. Adrien would've ran himself but was too busy for it which he guiltily told Marinette when she asked him to run, luckily she ran for president. So, he didn't have to feel guilty. After class had ended Adrien was at his fencing instruction with his fencing teacher, Armand D'argencourt who vented all throughout the lesson about his recent loss in the mayor election and how he intended to rule Paris just like his ancestor Darkblade. When the news crew came up to him and said "So, how do you feel about your recent loss (Armand growled). What you only lost by a landslide, is it true that your ways are outdated and old fashioned." That's when Armand left the lesson and destroyed a poster of the mayor, sensing that he'll become an Akuma. Adrien went into the bathroom and transformed; he was right Armand did become a Akumatized person dubbed Darkblade.
Cat Noire and Darkblade face off in a fight with Cat Noire using her staff and Darkblade his sword (his Akuma object), that's when he used the same trick of leaving an opening. He did during fencing class but Cat Noire learned from her past mistakes and instead swept his legs with her leg. While falling down Cat Noire grabbed the Akuma object while saying "Cataclysm!" Thus, destroying the object. He then trapped the butterfly in a jar for Ladybug to capture but realized too late that Ladybug can't call up miraculous cure as the enemy was no more, now what was he suppose to do with all knighted people "I wish I can separate them from Armond with a Cataclysm." As soon as she said cataclysm her power activated only this time it was green instead of black and her outfit changed too
Her bodysuit contained a zipper that went down the middle, the cat pictured on her skirt was replace with a claw picture there, the three vertical strips now had what appeared to be black nails on them, her hair gained green highlights in it as well getting longer (not the tied part) that reached the middle of her back and she appeared to be more older then before (like an adult)
She would've taken in the sight but knew her timer was on so she tested the cataclysm against Armond's clothes (so that way what she thought didn't happen, no one would get hurt) while thinking of all the knighted people. It worked like a charm with the people who were knighted were transformed back into their regular selves. Just then Ladybug arrived on the scene and said "What happened? How did you save all these people? And what's with the new look?" "I don't know but what I do know is I'm running out of time so see yah and capture that Akuma." Cat Noire said and then left, leaving Ladybug dumbfounded. Marinette won the class presidency with Alya as her vice president, apparently Marinette made this great speech about how they (the class) shouldn't vote for her just because they don't want Chloe but because they want Marinette and she will get what every they need through her organized skills.
Plagg went to Master Fu and told Master Fu about the recent development of Cat Noire gaining a new power/look. Causing Master Fu to say "It seems that Cat Noire got a next tier power up that allows him/her to release people under the control of an Akumatized person. How he/she got this power is because not everything is known about the miraculous powers. This is impressive maybe..." "Maybe what Master?" Wayzz asked, only for Master Fu to say "Something I should've done a long time ago."
