Story 7: Isekai Restaurant Chapter 5

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Chapter 5: Foodgasms? What's that?

- Silas -

I served Ramen to the trio of old men in the shop and returned to the counter once more.

Bang, Issac and Hayato were in the shop.

The door opened and an old man appeared. He was wearing a ragged and patched up set of clothes and a pair of cheap sandals. He had silver-white pompadour hairstyle and a goatee and was hunching down.

"Hohoh I didn't know there was a new restaurant in this area." he said while looking around the shop.

"What would you like, Sir?" Lavinia asked him politely.

I did notice that not many people were able to even notice my restaurant. I still didn't know what the selection criteria was but I made a personal rule to never be impolite to any of the customers no matter how they looked… until they started to mess around. This rule was followed by every member of the staff.

"Hohohoho some tempura and a bottle of Sake would be best. But I don't have anything to pay you with." he said, scratching his head, embarrassed.

The guy looked like a goofy old man and I don't know why I found him funny. "In that case, the first meal can be on the house."

A simple bottle of alcohol wouldn't cause anything.

"Hahahaha thank you so much. I really owe you for this."

I passed him the tempura and a bottle of alcohol and picked a seat nearby. There were very few people in the restaurant today so I could have a chat with the oldies.

"How is young Ikki doing, Silas? I haven't seen him in a while." Bang asked.

"I stopped by his training yesterday. He has been working hard. Even his new teachers are very impressed with him." They actually were.

"The boy reminded me of my own apprentice. That foolish boy, Garou… To hang on with sheer grit and fight against everyone at such a young age. I would have taken him as an apprentice in a heartbeat if I could teach him anything."

"Oh, is he that good?" Isaac said, caressing his goatee.

"Kamikaze had been throwing high praise for the boy and he never does that."

"So, how about you Silas? Won't you learn some Martial Arts?" Hayato asked me.

I just smiled at him. "I was learning some tricks from Kisuke. he might not look like it but he is a very accomplished swordsman himself. I don't know if I will get to use Martial Arts though? I am just a chef."

"And who decided that chefs cannot learn martial arts? To catch better prey and to prepare truly great ingredients, a chef needs to possess incredible willpower, strength and skill. For example, the Tempura you made was from the Sake Salmon. While it is a fish with only a Capture Level 2 it's extremely difficult for a chef, even experienced ones, to keep the flavours locked when cooking it. You have managed to do something which I think only a hundred or so chefs around the world can do. Good job on that one. But for higher level ingredients, you will have to complete the process in a fraction of the time taken for this Tempura. For some dishes I know, it can be as low as a thousandth of a second. Without proper knowledge of Martial Arts, such a task is impossible."

It was the new old man who said this, attracting the glances from all the people around him.

But I was attracted to something else entirely. "You know the name of the ingredient."

"Hahahaha I have eaten different types of food in my life."

"Silas boy, is there something special about this dish?" Issac asked, sensing my shock.

"I… get provided with any raw material I need by the restaurant itself when I pay the money but even I don't know where these food products come from. There were some extremely outrageous things in the list of ingredients. Ingredients costing billions. It's just that I have only been learning to cook for a year and a half so I don't want to waste those ingredients. I will try them when I get better."

"Billions?" Hayato asked, quite shocked.

"The things from the Dark Continent can go for that price." He scratched his goatee.

"You just get the ingredients in the shop? For money?" The new old man asked, surprised for the first time.

"They are just kept in my refrigerator or my store room when I buy it. Oh, this restaurant is a bit special." I explained about the restaurant to the guy and after an initial shock, he listened to everything quietly.

"So you can buy anything you want for money."

"Umm."

"Even GOD?"

"Yes. There is one such ingredient." I answered.

"How much do I need to pay for it?"

"This… I am sorry but I still can't cook it and this is a restaurant and not a butcher's shop. I am afraid selling raw ingredients is not allowed. I can sell only food cooked by myself."

He sat back and then shook his head with a smile.

"As I thought, it would never be so easy. I hope you get there soon, child. GOD is not something money can buy so you don't even realise how lucky you are."

The man went on to explain some things about his world. He worked as a Knocking Master. He was a hunter in his younger days. Just because of this, he got along well with Issac. He said that his name was Jiro.

He even joined the old guys and just at that time, the shop opened once more and two people entered the room.

One was an old man wearing a kimono and another was a girl with orange clothes.

"I didn't know there was a restaurant near the school? Is this place new?" He asked, looking at me.

"Hmm. Yes. What would you like to eat, Sir?"

"Hmph, as if this small place could serve food to satisfy us?" The girl snorted.

The old man sighed, "Be respectful, Erina."

"But grandfather…"

He shut the girl up and looked at me. "We will take whatever the chef recommends. Price is not an issue."

I raised an eyebrow at the price comment.

"Alright."

I prepared a very simple dish. An Egg fried rice but with Strawberry Rice, edible Billion Bird Eggs and several other ingredients which would make the dish price at around five hundred thousand.

The guy said that price wasn't an issue. Let him think about it.

As for the girl, I made a bowl of udon noodles. The guy asked me for the chef's recommendation. The Chef recommends some humility for the girl.

The aroma of the dish was kept in the kitchen so they had no idea what I was making. I covered the dish and called for Lavy to serve the dish.

I looked over the counter to observe the reaction of the two.

Lavinia removed the covers and both their eyes glazed over.

"Why is my dish different?" She asked, looking at her noodles.

"It's the Chef's recommendation for you." I smiled.

My restaurant served Demon Lords and Heroes. A little brat questioning my restaurant's tastes cannot be left alone… no matter how cute the girl was.

She glared at me for a moment but still took a bit of the udon.

"Umm ahhhh~"

She started rubbing her thighs together and moaning, startling me all of a sudden as everyone looked weirdly at me.

"I swear I didn't mix anything illegal within the dish." I quickly raised my hand.

What the hell?

Was she one of those scammers who will try to blackmail people after causing such scenes? Where are the cameras?

I looked around the place in panic and then threw the girl a wary look.

The old man beside him didn't mind anything and instead laughed.

"Hahahaha don't worry about it. This just means that Erina likes your cooking. Our family reacts differently to delicious food. Erina was blessed or rather cursed by an ability called the God's Tongue and she can perceive tastes to a very minute level. This makes her incredibly selective of what she eats. She doesn't mean to insult you." He explained.

"So this…"

"Is how she reacts to the taste which she gets won over by."

He then took a bite of his own food and paused for a moment before his clothes burst out from his body and he went on for a minute long rant on the details of the dish. I didn't even think that much when I was cooking this. He stopped after a minute and then looked at me and I couldn't help but ask. "So, these bursting clothes ability was yours?"

"Hmm."

Damn… that must suck. Everytime he ate good food, he would lose his clothes. I mean imagine this ability of a woman… that would be a nightmare. An inborn training tool to make someone into an exhibitionist.

What kind of a messed up world was this guy living in? The very thought made me shudder.

Not to mention, his clothes bill must be huge.

The man and the girl both concentrated on eating after that and then ordered different things too.

From the cheapest dish to the things going in millions.

For a minute I was scared if they were going to be scammed but the guy paid everything and added a twenty percent tip.

I made five million and eighty seven thousand yen from just this guy.

"Say, young man, why are you wasting your talents in such a remote place. I am sure that with your skill, you could get jobs anywhere you want. I actually want to invite you to the Totsuki Academy for the position of a teacher."

Totsuki Academy? Teacher?

I looked confused at the guy who raised an eyebrow but seeing no change in my confused look, he was a bit flustered. "The Totsuki Culinary Academy for the best chefs in the world." He offered more information.

"Ah, I am satisfied with my restaurant. Thank you for inviting me though."

"What were the ingredients you used in your dishes? I didn't recognize most of them." For the first time, the girl enquired.

"Those…"

It led to a short explanation to what this place was and then the man proceeded to talk to Jiro, even asking if he could procure some ingredients from the Toriko world to help his daughter who got ill whenever she ate anything which she didn't find delicious. He even made me pack the best dishes I could make to bring with him to his daughter.

"You know, Silas-kun, the ingredients in the Gourmet World are costly beyond your comprehension. Some of the items cannot even be priced after selling off an entire planet. At this rate, you might not be able to get access to several ingredients." Jiro-san said.

Oh.

I looked at the man curiously who took this chance and continued.

"I suggest that you get a hunter as a partner if you truly want to advance as a chef. Hunters and Chefs make pairs to hunt down ingredients and cook them. They are partners in the truest sense. Even I went on hunts with my Secchan in my younger days. Besides, there are plenty of Chefs who hunt on their own too." He smiled.

"This… I will consider the suggestion. Thank you for your advice, Jiro-san. By the way, how strong are these monsters?"

"They are… hmm, any halfway decent ingredient would have the strength to destroy a big continent at best."

….

….

A period of silence came down over the room.

Even the other oldies looked at Jiro-san in shock.

"On second thought, I will hold on to going hunting for a while."

"Hahahaha don't worry. The more delicious food you eat, the stronger you can become. This is the beauty of our world. Train, eat and get stronger to explore the best parts of the world."

We talked about various topics and even Issac wanted to venture into Jiro-san's world and see it for himself. Bang and Hayato wanted to join too.

Really, these oldies are too energetic for their own good.

Two days later, the door to the restaurant opened again.

This time the arrival was a surprise.

The orange haired girl called Orihime came looking around the area nervously.

"Umm, hello."

"Hello. Welcome to my restaurant. What will you be having today?"

"Ano… I… you are the one who saved me, aren't you?"

"... I am. Are you alright now?"

"Ah yes. Thank you for helping me… and my brother." She bowed deeply.

"It's fine. The… supernatural police of that world would have done that anyway."

"Ohh…"

"So, what will you be having today?"

"This…" She hesitated.

Thankfully, Kisuke entered the shop behind her. "She will be having a job at your restaurant if you have one."

"Say what?"

Kisuke went on to explain the situation.

She was living alone after her brother's death. Her parents had died even before her brother and after her brother's death, she was given an allowance by her aunt who stayed far away.

The incident that day had caused her house to crash. The landlord was an ass and had evicted her from the place and made her pay for the damage. Partly because there were no culprits found for the incident. Now, that part was taken care of by her aunt but she had reduced her allowance by a lot because she too thought that the girl was making up stories.

… talk about a messed up situation.

"So you are looking for a part time job in my restaurant."

She bowed. "Please."

"Hmm, well alright. The damage was partially caused by me because I interfered in the work of whatever soul police was doing back then. I think I can take responsibility for this."

I explained to her the schedule. I did need some more staff in the restaurant. It's not like I didn't have any empty rooms.

As soon as I said those words, text appeared in the air in front of me.

Restaurant Level Up.

Level 2 Privileges Unlocked.

Cooking Skill has levelled up to level 2.

Staff System Unlocked.

Congratulations!

I pushed away the thought of reading the text as I addressed Kisuke for the time being.

He stayed for a while and I explained about the shop to Orihime.

This girl, Orihime, she's… Lavinia V2.0. Enough said. She's like Lavinia but with even more creative imagination, which was somehow possible. I don't know how?

Do I attract this type?

I shook my head and drove the narcissistic thought away from my mind and got back to work.

Kisuke explained the true reason for it. She was heavily in contact with spiritual beings which made her 'Spiritually Aware', which was a short way of saying, she's stuck in this mess now.

He will find a way to help her but there was some mess and he was also busy with Ikki and Carrot top.

I will need to think of getting her something to defend herself.

The System Updates helped but only in the restaurant.

The new system functions meant that the shop protection now extended to the staff members as long as the shop was open

The staff could open the door to the Restaurant even if I wasn't present. In this way I personally didn't have to be there to allow them in.

My new Cooking Skills were at a completely different level. I used the money I had gotten from old man Nakiri and tried some dishes which cost an insane amount of money and high level mastery to prepare and succeeded.

Currently I was relaxing, chilling in my hot tub. The Restaurant Level increased the quality of the shop overnight. Same with my house attached to it.

Lavinia had taken Orihime out to show her the town while giving me a thumbs up and I knew exactly why.

The door slid and I heard Shuna's voice. "Sil-sama, do you need help washing your back?" Her voice was trembling from embarrassment so I didn't tease her more.

"Sure. Thank you." I got out of the bathtub and sat on the small chair, my back facing her. She had seen me naked several times already, even slept in the same bed but she was not Lavinia. Shuna was extremely shy although these days we had done a lot to get her to relax. I mean it was impossible not to when we have someone like Lavinia running around without clothes.

She got a bit red but slowly started applying soap on my back.

"How are you adjusting to this world, Shuna?"

"I-it's a beautiful world. Everyone is quite happy to make a new branch of the tribe in this world to assist Sil-sama."

"As long as you all are happy. I don't want you all to force yourself beyond what is necessary." I replied.

"Yes. We are all happy to explore this new world. The things from this world are very famous in our world and a trade network will help the ogre clan from both worlds. The girls and children are especially fond of the clothes and beauty products which are also being traded to other countries."

She finished washing my back and rinsed the soap with water and asked me to turn to the front. I could hear the stutter in her voice.

"Alright." I did turn and could see her ear getting red from embarrassment as she looked at my naked form.

She slowly started applying soap on my chest while I noticed her sneaking peeks at my lower part.

Her hands finished with my chest and came down to my stomach and my erection twitched making her yelp lightly.

"Shuna, you don't have to force yourself."

"But I want to, I…"

"Are you sure you want to proceed with our relationship? You already know about Lavinia and me and I don't even know if there will be someone else in my life later on. We have very long lives. Are you sure you want to do this?"

She nodded resolutely. "I… have liked Sil-sama since the day he saved our tribe. You looked really amazing fighting to protect us. I…"

I didn't let her speak any further. It would have been too cruel of me to make her say anymore when she was already doing this much.

I lifted her chin and took her lips for myself, stopping her words in between. Her eyes widened and her hands slid down my chest and to my sides as my tongue explored the depths of her mouth.

"In that case, I won't allow you to back out anymore."

I looked at the hazy eyed oni who was completely in a daze and my hands worked slowly to remove the kimono from her shoulders. She regained her bearing and I smirked, "Can I?"

She nodded meekly.

I stood up, making her stand in front of me and her kimono fell to the ground around her as she stood before me just as the day as she was born.

Shuna was quite a bit shorter than me so when I hugged her, my length was touching her stomach instead but she didn't shy away this time. Her hands wrapped around me and one of mine went behind her head as I once more claimed her lips.

I made her sit in my lap on the edge of the bathtub, my hands went to her perfectly sized breasts. Lavinia's breasts were big but Shuna's were sized perfectly to fit in my hands. I massaged her left breast while kissing her neck and my right hand went down slowly towards her core.

"Mmhhh Sil-samaahh." Her voice quivered as my finger touched her hooded clit and I slid my finger through her cleft once, tracing the line. I did find a slightly viscous liquid on my fingertips. Seems like our little princess is more excited than she was letting on.

"This is not water now, is it Shuna?" I raised my fingertips and showed her the wetness and she turned and hid her face in my neck. "Don't be shy. I kinda like it." I gave it a lick."Hmm, it tastes like cherry blossoms."

"S-sil-sama is being mean…"

"Because you are adorable to tease. It just makes me wanna tease you even more." I kissed her ears as my fingers went down and started rubbing her core at a slow pace. She had probably never touched herself before this and was trying to stifle her moans which just made me tease her even more. I slowly pushed one finger inside and it gripped me with the force of a vice. I slowly moved it to and fro to get her used to my finger before increasing another one.

"Want me to stop now?"

"N-no."

I smirked and increased the speed of my fingers once more and a few minutes later she shuddered and collapsed in my arms as I felt a gush of liquid on my fingers.

I let her collect her breath and the first thing she did after coming out of her daze was to hold my hair and pull me on for a kiss which I happily obliged to.

We pulled back and she spoke in a very low voice. "L-let me help you out."

"Oh, do you know how to?"

"I read some books."

Hentai Doujinshi for the win!

I gave a mental thumbs up to the mangaka and nodded at her.

Shuna was petite. Her hands gripped my length and one hand couldn't encircle around my length.

She slowly moved her hands up and down. I was already a bit wet at the tip from our former activities and it aided her. She was being very careful to not apply any force.

I moved a strand of her hair behind her ears and slightly applied some pressure on the back of her head. She understood my intentions and bowed her head, lightly placing a soft kiss on my tip. I caressed her hair to encourage her as she showered my tip with kisses before slowly taking the tip inside her mouth.

"Be careful with your teeth." I suggested as she took more of me in.

She was new at this but if there was something she didn't lack, it was diligence and enthusiasm. She more than made up for her inexperience with it.

Not to mention, it was my first blowjob in this life and getting it from such a cute girl at that. I wasn't going to complain about anything.

"Move your tongue around the tip gently. Yes, just like that. Very good." I caressed her hair and she looked up at me with those big pink eyes and adorable look with the only exception being my cock in her mouth which made it strangely erotic.

Her eyes seemed to light up at my compliment as she increased her efforts and I laid back and enjoyed her ministrations, instructing her in between.

I got to my climax soon after and pulled out, shooting everything on her breasts instead. We got cleaned up and I carried her to our bedroom.

Lavinia and Orihime will be out for a while so I better make the best use of the time.

By the time they returned, I made Shuna come twice and climaxed once more from her growing expertise in giving a blowjob. She was a fast learner.

I don't know why but she was feeling a bit insecure about her position in this place for some reason and we had a long pillow talk session where I assuaged her doubts.

By the end of it all, I felt we were both much closer than before.

- Inugamigyōbu Tamazuki -

"Are you sure this place is worth it?" Terari Oni asked him, looking down on the town in front of them.

"Are you questioning me?" He narrowed his eyes as he looked towards the giant Youkai.

"N-no. That's not what I meant. I was just wondering what you were going to do with this place. It's just an abandoned town."

"This is also the one town between the Human Territories controlled by the Five Principal Clans and the Kyoto Youkai which is completely unoccupied. Recently, a few bugs have taken residence here but they can easily be removed. By controlling this place, we can control the information network from both sides and pit the two factions against each other. When the Kyoto Youkai are sufficiently weakened, we take them down and make Kyoto the territory of us Shikoku Youkai."

I have heard that the leader of the Western Youkai Faction, Yasaka, is extremely strong. A Nine Tailed Fox is known for its strength and vitality. Do you think we can face someone like her?" One of them asked, fear tingling in his voice.

"Nurarihyon made a legend for himself after defeating a Nine Tailed Fox, Hagoromo Gitsune several hundred years ago. We, the Shikoku Youkai will do the same and then take down the Nura Clan with Kyoto as our base."

They looked towards the building in front of them. "That's the base of the critters. Some countryside oni have made this place their base and are doing business with humans. Our goal is to finish them all in a week. Get to work."

"Yes." The group dispersed.

Rimuru –

He slurped the soba noodles and felt the warmth spread through his body. Yup. The noodles at Silas' restaurant are the best.

"So, how is your trip to teach students going?"

"Oh, the kids are adorable. They were a bit feisty but they came around soon enough. I came here temporarily for some urgent talks." He stated as Shuna brought some more food.

"Something important?"

"Hmm. The kids… They were suffering from excessive magicules. If left untreated, they will only live a couple of years more. It's a side effect from being summoned at a young age."

"Do you need me to ask other customers for a way to help them?"

"Ah no. I found a way to cure them. I actually came here for a completely different reason. Two things. First, I am proclaiming myself as a Demon Lord to use my name to prevent others from summoning people from other worlds. Second, the method to treat the children requires them to make contracts with Spirits. Spirits can bless normal humans too. I was thinking if you have humans who need any power boosts, you could bring them along. Since we cannot name humans, getting them blessed might work too. Lavinia, the little girl who follows her along, the Ikki fellow, they can all get a power up."

"That's… neat. I think Tanya and my new employee Orihime might get a much needed power up too. So, how do we get there?" Silas asked.

"Here's the map. I suggest taking the Star Wolves because it's a long distance. We will meet you there. You could fly if you were alone but taking others will be a problem if you are alone. I have already informed Benimaru about the details."

"How long will the journey take?"

"Around two weeks and a day to reach there. We will wait for you at the entrance of the Dwelling of Spirits."

"Hmm."

"Oh, by the way, who is this Orihime girl you talked about?"

Silas went on to explain his adventures in Kisuke's world.

"Shinigami? And you backhanded one into a wall… bwahahahaha. That's the funniest thing I have ever heard."

"Hey, I carried him to get treated as well. Unfortunately, Orihime was caught in this mess and I gave her a job. She also awakened powers so I was thinking about awakening her Device and then finding a way to get her stronger."

"So, what kind of person is she?"

"She's… like an orange haired version of Lavinia."

….

"That's quite an image alright." He looked towards Shuna. "Does this mean you have more competition, Shuna-chan?"

Silas scoffed while Shuna blushed but shook her head. Rimuru however sensed something different between the two. It was like the chemistry between the two was much better. Did he…. He eyed Silas and instantly sent a bro-message through his eyes.

The smirk he got in return gave all the answers he needed.

Lucky bastard.

"Any message from Ainz?"

"He is exploring the other countries in his world under the guise of an adventurer. By the way, I need your help."

"Hmm."

"Can you scan this and see if you can make more of these? This was with Tanya when she came to our world. These enable the magicians in her world to fly as well as do several other things. I was thinking if we could mass produce these, they would sell quite well. Especially in Zeref's world where magic is more common..."

"Ah yes. I did get a Faith Type magic skill from that zombie thing. I will see if I can reproduce this."

"Okay. I will pick up Ikki and the rest tomorrow and start the journey."

- Narberal Gamma -

"Some rats have entered the area. Will you take care of them, Nabe-chan?" Yuri asked as she did the paperwork for the next manga issue.

Silas-sama had asked them to establish a business to fund their future missions in a world full of Gods and monsters. This was a monumental task and it was given to them. Such honour…

He had appointed a child, Tanya, as the head. At first Naberal was a bit taken aback by the decision but soon enough she understood the Supreme One's reasons for this. The child was someone with work ethics who would make even Demigure feel proud of her.

She didn't know a ten year old could command such fear in the people working under her… and yet she did. The business was picking up pace but that was to be expected. After all, it had the minds of not one but three Supreme Beings behind it.

Even the unassuming humans beside him are beings who could fight Gods and Demon Kings alike.

Lord Rimuru had sent Kijin to support Silas-sama and establish a base in this world as a foothold.

Although individually they weren't as strong as the guardians of Nazarick except some, they had the potential to grow more, especially after being named.

This was something which she hadn't known before. Naming.

A simple ritual where the master empowers a subordinate with their own power.

She and Yuri also had the opportunity to experience it.

Silas-sama gave them their names all over again and soon as it happened, Naberal felt a surge of power like none other. The limits of Yggdrasil holding her back were all gone and she could now level endlessly. Even the forms she could take increased and she gained a new Unique Skill: Mimicker. A Skill which allowed her to take the form of anything she had seen and copy its power. The forms and the copied Skill did depend on her power but it was still a phenomenal Skill for someone like her.

And now it was time to show her Skills.

Five Kijin appeared near the door almost instantly. They were trained to be Shinobi by Souei, one of Lord Rimuru's subordinates and were in charge of the security of the main building.

"There are a total of seven intruders. They are all Youkai. The strongest one of them is still waiting on a building to the west. What are your orders?"

"Check their intentions. If they are here to cause trouble, eliminate them without hesitation. Silas-sama must be sleeping at this time. Make sure there is no disturbance." Yuri commanded. "Naberal, take the lead in case they get violent.

"Yes."

She headed outside and observed the location they were keeping an eye on. And as expected, one, a youkai with a hat attacked the Oni who were patrolling the area. The Oni was well trained and dodged quickly as gashes were left on the surroundings with the wind.

Wind Magic in front of her… how dumb.

So they were here with unkind intentions. That saved a lot of trouble. She was not very keen on diplomacy and torture was always a much better option to get information out of unwilling intruders.

"Set up a barrier. We must not disturb Silas-sama's sleep."

"Yes." The five Oni behind her bowed and disappeared in the shadows.

A barrier appeared almost instantly, taking several buildings and all seven of the intruders in range.

She appeared in front of the intruder. He looked like a middle aged man with a hat and small round glasses and a coat covering most of his body. He was taken aback at her appearance as well as the barriers. "Don't bother wasting your words. I dislike the sounds of critters. You will get more than enough time in the dungeons."

The maggot was about to say something but she didn't allow it.

"Twin Maximise Magic: Chain Dragon Lightning."

He apparently didn't expect the sudden attack either as he tried to dodge. Two of the other intruders tried to jump in to save him too but they were killed too.

Oh well…Yuri didn't say she needed to catch everyone. One or two examples will make the rest cooperate easier.

The one who seemed like the leader brought out a sword with a dark aura and shouted orders to his leftover subordinates.

Hmm, so he needs to be left alive for information extraction.

She dodged to the side to avoid the slash from a sword and created a barrier to block a sudden attack of what seemed to be sharp feathers from an intruder with bandaged mask with strange writings on them.

The leader took the opportunity of the distraction and changed into a different form with a white mask. The aura on the sword became denser as he jumped towards her to attack with a loud roar.

"Protection Energy - Negative."

A spell to protect against negative energies.

"To use such an attack against a resident of Nazarick. How foolish. Then again, cretins were never known for their intelligence."

She brought out her own Keuranos MK 3 and countered the attack and at the same instant she used a Tier 3 Lightning Spell from her fingertips. The leader of the intruders tried to dodge by jumping back but what greeted him were two lightning blasts which burned his arms instantly.

The guy howled from pain but then a strange thing happened, he stabbed his subordinate near him. The sword's aura spread and it absorbed the energies from the fallen Youkai and strengthened the leader once more. His wounds healed but the subordinate took its last breath. The guy, as if a man possessed, started attacking his subordinates near him to absorb more power.

She let him do whatever he wanted.

It was important to show him the futility of his efforts to break him and make the interrogation easier.

When he was finally done, he roared into the sky as his power rose to another level… However, it was still not a match for her.

As if such a power could ever be a match for the gifts of the Supreme Ones.

She used an Invisibility Spell and Dimensional Jump to appear behind him and before he could even realise, both his arms flew into the air.

The sword he was holding in his hand fell down as well and so did all the power he had absorbed.

The next second, a well placed lightning spell on his face made him unconscious.

Naberal began to secure the prisoner but at that very moment the bandage masked Youkai grabbed the sword and took to the sky, making a run for it. Did it think it could run away from her? Even after all this? Sometimes the stupidity of these cretins surprised her even after all this time.

However, before she could make a move, the Youkai was shot by a blast of light, directly blowing up its head. Naberal turned her head in the direction of the attacker and found… Tanya, in a pink bunny dress with a rifle in her hand.

"Keep it down, will ya. A growing child needs her sleep." She shouted through the window of her building and then closed her window.

Well… that took care of everything.

She sealed the sword away.

It would make for a decent gift for her master.

- Makarov -

The number of thoughts going on through his mind when he gathered with some of his guild members on Tenroujima island were innumerable.

These thoughts had started when Warrod had contacted him about the topic.

The true history of Fairy Tail.

The teacher of the Founders.

The truth of Black Wizard Zeref.

The information had shaken him completely.

To think that his own father was taught magic by the infamous Black Wizard Zeref who was in a relationship with the first master Mavis. The latter fact was even more surprising than the fact that Zeref, a figure from four hundred years ago, was still alive at this point.

But then he came to know about the truth of the history of Zeref and Makarov couldn't help but feel pity for the guy.

His thoughts had to wait however as he sensed people coming out from the forest. At the forefront of the group was a black haired guy who looked in his early twenties.

Warrod took the lead and greeted the man and then Makarov understood who this person was. Zeref.

The man's eyes however were looking past him, behind him to be precise.

He looked back to see the target of the man's gaze and found it to be Natsu. But the surprises didn't end just there. The Black Wizard's eyes teared up as he looked at the young Dragonslayer, shocking even Warrod.

"Natsu." His whisper was heard through the silence of the island.

"Hah! Do I know you mister?" The boy asked, confused.

The man collected himself and smiled. "I… yes. Let me introduce myself. My name is… Zeref Dragneel. I am… your elder brother."

….

….

The shocked look on his face was shared by everyone in the place, even Warrod.

No one had known the full name of the Black Wizard till then.

"Brother?" Natsu was puzzled but the man didn't look offended or angry in the slightest.

He sat down on the ground and looked towards the sky in the distance and the rest followed his gaze but couldn't sense anything. Some wondered what he was looking for but those questions were answered as soon as they spotted a giant red dragon approaching the island at a very high speed.

Makarov got in a defensive position. Gildarts behind him doing the same.

"She's a friend."

Natsu stood frozen at the sight of the dragon.

The said dragon landed on the beach and several people got down from its back, one in chains who looked surprisingly similar.

"That's…" Makarov exclaimed.

"Back down Makarov. He…Precht or rather Hades is the Guild Master of Grimoire Heart, one of the three biggest Dark Guilds in Ishgar. He's responsible for many crimes." Warrod spoke, making Makarov freeze on the spot and look at the man in shock.

The second Master was… how?

The dragon turned into a scarlet haired woman and Natsu ran towards her.

"Hey. Do you know Igneel? Do you know where Igneel is?"

The woman took a look at him and then at Zeref and asked, "Is this your brother?" to which he nodded. She then returned her gaze to Natsu. "Ask your brother. He left you with Igneel."

"Do you know where Igneel is? You left me with Igneel?" Natsu threw the questions at Zeref without a moment's delay but the man in question was looking towards the forest.

They followed his gaze and sure enough, someone came out of the forest. A girl with a white dress and long blonde hair walked on the forest ground, barefoot. She looked like a fairy from legends but Makarov had seen her before.

"H-how?"

"Mavis." Zeref whispered.

"Zeref. Warrod, Precht…"

This reunion however was not pleasant for everyone. The second master Precht seemed to have reached his limit and burst.

"WHY? Why do you do this? I have searched for you all this time. To search for the source of magic, the one true magic, dedicated my entire life to finding you and now… you come out of nowhere and treat me like a criminal… you, the one known as the Black Wizard, you who created the entire race of demons… I see. Is it because of him?" He pointed towards another elderly man with a long white beard, confusing everyone in the place. "Did you think I wouldn't recognise your power? I wouldn't forget your power. You were a freak of nature from the very moment you were born. Who would have thought that you would go up and meet Zeref and who would have thought that Black Wizard Zeref would be so emotional to come and take revenge for his own son?"

….

….

"What did you say?"

Somehow, the tone of Zeref's voice didn't reassure Makarov that this meeting would be a peaceful one anymore.

- Mavis -

She had thought that at her age and with her life experiences, there would be very few things in life which could shock her. She was right to think that, even the news of Zeref finding a cure for the 'Curse of Contradiction' was just happy news for her, not a massive surprise. She had known the man better than anyone else. He was her husband after all and thus she trusted him and his talents more than anyone. She knew that he would one day find a cure for the curse. She was just thankful that he hadn't fallen into madness before he did so.

But… never in her life had she imagined this to be the reason for her surprise.

She was a mother.

Her child…

Was this the punishment for taking away young Makarov's mother, Rita's life with her curse? She was separated from her child as well.

Pain, Sorrow, Anger, she couldn't even understand which emotion she was feeling at the moment or at whom the feelings were aimed at, Precht, the god who cursed them, Precht, or even this world. Perhaps the only thought that was keeping her from breaking down at this point was the fact that Zeref must be having it much harder at this point. To stay by his own child's side but not recognise him. The guilt must be killing him. Especially Zeref. For someone like him who had loved and wanted nothing more than a family… this was probably worse than all the centuries he had suffered under the 'Curse of Contradiction'.

Not to mention what her child had been through… to remain and act like a servant to his own father just to avoid the 'Curse of Contradiction' and stay by his side.

"W-what is your name?" She stuttered as she faced him hesitantly. The others had given the three of them some room alone and she was grateful for their consideration.

"I… my name is August. His Maj…" He paused looking at the pained look on Zeref's face and changed his words. "Father named me after the month he spent with you."

"August… hmm, a good name, a very great name." Words were failing her and she looked at Zeref for support but August interrupted before Zeref could say anything.

"Wouldn't you come with us, Mother. We have found a way to remove the curse. We… we could live together." He kneeled.

"I…" Her words finally failed her as tears came to her eyes and she could barely nod. She looked at Zeref and he came by her side as the two of them embraced August as tears fell from each of their eyes. "I would love to go with you two."

She didn't pay any attention to what happened or what was discussed. Something about Dragon Slayers, Acnologia and Eclipse. All she did was sit with August and tried to make up for the time they had lost together.

As for Precht, he was taken away for interrogation by the lady who could turn into a dragon. The reason he was attacked was because he had been taking her daughter as a hostage and making them work for something and despite their previous friendship, she didn't have it in her to spare any kindness for him at this point.

Silas –

I collected the people who wanted to go to the Spirit's Dwelling to get a blessing from the Spirits.

The group consisted of me as the leader, Lavinia, Orihime, Brandish,Tanya and Ikki.

Kisuke took care of Orihime's school and Brandish wanted to join Lavinia so we had to adjust somewhat.

And here we are, standing in the middle of Tempest with over half a dozen star wolves to set off on the journey for the Dwelling of the Spirits.

"I will leave the restaurant to you. If anything happens, you can send a message through Yuri or Naberal to Ainz and he will help." I told Shuna as I kissed her forehead.

"Yes. I will do my best." She nodded with a blush.

Seriously, she is too cute.

Shuna is in charge of the Kijin in my world as well as maintaining contact with this world in my absence. Tanya was mainly in charge of the business but Yuri and Naberal are quite smart and have picked up on the required knowledge to maintain the company meanwhile.

The journey was pretty uneventful. We did meet several monsters along the way and I let Ikki fight to test himself out and he did pretty well. He could fight C Ranked monsters easily and if he used his Itto Shura technique, he could even harm B Ranked monsters which was a serious improvement in strength considering he would have been crushed by a C+ Ranked ones easily before this.

The surprising one was Brandish. I didn't know that the girl had it in her. At thirteen years of age, she could manhandle a C Ranked monster with her newly learned magic, Command T and she would only get better with time.

She also had something called Celestial Spirit Magic but that thing needed keys and stuff which I don't know about. This was one of the reasons she wanted to meet the spirits of other worlds and see if she could make a contract with them. Apparently, her mother was a user of this magic and she wanted to see if she could learn it as well. We agreed.

The monsters were not a problem for Lavinia or me. Orihime on the other hand who recently had her Device Awakened was still trying to find her way.

Her Device took the form of two hairpins which turned into six sprites/ They could attack and defend and best of all, heal stuff. Like seriously, her healing was insane. That said, something was off about her healing powers. It was just….something different. I was not exactly an expert at magic and decided to wait for Rimuru or Ainz to get a second review on what exactly was off about her Device.

That said, her device wasn't dangerous for her or us. This much, even I could understand with my Sage ability. It's just that, even with the Sage, if I tried to truly understand her healing ability, it would have taken me years. Maybe the Great Sage could find it faster or Ainz might have encountered something similar during his Gaming Days.

It's just that, despite her powers, the girl wasn't exactly a fighter. She hesitated to hurt anything. I guess it's just her kind nature holding her back. Not that it was a bad thing. Even just a healer was a massive boon for our makeshift party.

The one who was the most comfortable during this time was Tanya.

She… well, it was almost as if she was having a vacation.

She fought off most of the enemies quite easily. Even a B Ranked one was driven away by her when she used her aerial advantage and slowly sniped it from the sky.

We camped at nights and travelled during the days for the whole week.

We reached our destination by the end of a week as Rimuru had predicted and found their group already waiting.

Five children, around ten or so years old, were waiting with Rimuru, Saitama and Ranga at the entrance of a cave for us.

"Silas, over here. Did you guys have any difficulties along the way?" Rimuru waved at us from a distance as the children looked at us, curiously.

"Not really. The monsters on the way were pretty weak. The only decent one was a dragon of some kind but Lavi took care of it. I saved the body in case you could get any abilities from it." I brought out the body from the space ring Ainz had given me and Rimuru just absorbed the entire dragon quite easily.

"Earth Dragon. They have good defensive ability. This will help. Thanks Sil."

"No problem. So, are they your students? They are really cute."

"Don't call me cute!" said the orange haired kid, while both girls blushed. The black haired one glanced at Rimuru before quickly looking back, blushing slightly more. Heh, something to tease him with.

The funniest part was the tallest of the boys sneaking looks at Tanya.

Oh, this trip was going to be even better than I thought.

- Abe no Ariyuki -

Hmm! He looked in the direction of Tokyo as he sensed his Shikigami Yosuzume being destroyed.

Yosuzume might not have been the strongest but it was certainly not weak enough to be destroyed so easily. This was especially so when considering the fact that he was acting as a spy for him and subtly guiding the Shikoku Youkai against the Nura Clan. With Inugamigyobu Tamazuki possessing Mao's Hammer, the same sword which killed Rihan Nura. He could at least harm the Nura Clan to some extent. As for destroying the Nura Clan with just the power of the Shikoku Youkai was nothing but a dream.

Shikoku Youkai had fallen and while the new blood had potential… the Nura Clan didn't lack those either. Not to mention they had several experienced Youkai behind the clan too.

The best he was expecting was for the son of Rihan Nura and the third commander of the Nura Clan dying in the fight along with a few top brass.

Sanmoto Gorozaemon being involved in the mess made sure that the fight wouldn;t be fruitless.

The shadows were moving. The time for his ancestor's revival was approaching as the Kyoto Youkai under Hagoromo Gitsune had started making their moves.

Any chaos and damage to the Eastern and Western Youkai at the moment would be appreciated. This was the plan and yet… and yet, somehow, Yosuzume was dead.

He divined the place of its death and found that it was near Kyoto.

….

Did one of Yasaka's people find her?

He immediately shelved that thought.

Yasaka's people were infiltrated by the followers of Hagoromo Gitsune and his ancestor for years now. If such a thing had happened, he would have gotten the information almost as soon as they were found.

A more detailed divination showed the location to be a town near Kyoto and not Kyoto itself.

A town bordering the territory of those uppity Principal Clans.

Did any of those make a move?

Yasaka was not the kind to kill people, especially Youkai first. The Principal Clans on the other hand… anyways, it didn't matter who killed Yosuzume.

The fact remains that they must possess Mao's Hammer now.

The sword was an essential part of his plans.

Che. Now, he would have to move personally. And here he thought that he could rest for a while.

Serafall –

She sat in the living room of the Sitri Mansion. Sirzechs had decided to stay there too and for once she was actually thankful because she didn't know what she would do.

Sona was sent to the Gremory Estate to spend the day with Rias so that she doesn't get caught up in this mess.

Her parents entered the room and she put a barrier around the room.

Both her parents looked at her seriously. "What is this about, Serafall?"

She didn't answer his question but instead brought out two files and handed it over to them. The two files contained the same information, basically everything she could find out about the life of Silas Evans.

They opened the file while she observed the faces and reactions of both of them closely. Did they both know?

She found that her father froze a bit when he read the first page while her mother, while surprised at the name, kept on reading but was not as shocked as father.

This however changed as they read more. It was obvious that her mother was completely unaware of anything but her father hid all his emotions.

"What is this Serafall?" He asked.

"Shouldn't I be asking that question father?" She asked, her voice calm. Even she was surprised at how calm she was when it came to confront her father.

"I don't understand what you mean." He pretended to not know.

"…don't. The last page has a DNA test report. We found some of his hair samples from his old home. It matches." It was a bluff. There was nothing at all in his old home. But it never hurts to throw the bait. And it did pay back.

He quickly opened the last page of the file and saw the report. He read the entire page and closed his eyes, looking tired and finally let out a sigh as he slumped back into the couch. His reaction after that confirmed beyond any shred of doubt that SIlas Evans was her brother. The same brother she had thought was dead all this time.

"Why?" She asked. She couldn't find any other words for this

He stared off into the space for a few seconds and then answered.

"It was the best I could do for him."

She looked for him to continue and he did. "Silas… he was attacked along with your mother. He survived the attack miraculously but… he lost the use of Demonic power. We don't know if they had used something or if Silas was born that way. We couldn't figure it out. The attack happened too soon after he was born. So… I did what was best for him."

"... because he couldn't… use demonic power? Were you so ashamed of that, that you threw your own child away? You threw him away because he couldn't use Demonic Power!?" Her power surged as Sirzechs created a barrier around her.

"I did not throw him away!" He roared, taking her by surprise. He never raised his voice. In all her five hundred years or so of life, she had never seen him raise his voice.

"You don't understand it. Your mother was lying in a pool of her own blood and Silas… he was barely alive. Your mother had gone into a comatose state. I… I carried them both in my own arms. I almost felt my wife and son die in my arms while I could do nothing. Nothing! I have fought in the Great War and I have fought in the Civil War. I have seen my father get killed by God in front of my own eyes while I couldn't even muster the strength to stand up and yet, that moment was nothing compared to what I felt when I saw my newborn bleeding out in my hands. Silas… he was alive only by some sort of miracle."

She listened to him quietly, holding back her own words as he spoke.

"Silas' condition was different. It was not like he only had low Demonic Power. His body wasn't producing enough Demonic Power. Not even enough to keep him alive. He could have died if we didn't seal off his Devil heritage. He wouldn't have survived in the underworld."

"You didn't need to send him away. I would have protected him." She shouted in reply.

The rest of her words were stuck in her mouth at the look he gave her.

"Then why didn't you protect him the first time?"

And with just those words, he put a stop to any reply she could form.

"You are not omniscient, Serafall. Neither am I. But I can and will still do whatever it takes to keep my child alive. With his condition, he would have been shunned in the Underworld."

"I would have killed them all." She replied through gritted teeth. But even she knew that it was not a solution.

"But could you stop the voices? They would have still called him, taunted and shamed him for his condition. Do you think I would allow my son to live in such an environment?"

"Then you could have tried other methods. We could have found a solution for the problem."

"Do you think I didn't try? Do you think I am not trying that even now? During the last eighteen years, I have spent a fifth of the entire Sitri House's wealth to find a solution for Silas' condition. When the Bael Heir was found to be unable to use Demonic Powers, I was the one who wanted to form a research committee to find a solution for this problem in case any other pillar devil suffered from it. But that damned… Lord Bael downright denied my proposition and even blocked any of my attempts to create the team."

She did remember that situation and had just let the matter pass because it was not worth the fight. If she had known…

He continued. "Why do you think of all the business avenues, Sitri House has advanced so much in the medical field in the last two decades? Who do you think pushed Sona towards opening a school for Devils who couldn't use Demonic Magic among other things? I did!" Her eyes widened at the last part.

"I arranged for one of my oldest contractor's friends, who couldn't have any child to take him in. They didn't even know about his heritage. They treated him as their own child. He was raised with love and care in a happy family and grew up as a confident young man. That was something which would have been nigh impossible in the underworld. You have seen young Sairaorg's situation. And Silas' situation was even worse. Fortunately, his condition was fixed somehow, but did you want Silas to go through the same or even worse treatment than Sairaorg got from the whole Underworld? The early years of someone's life are very important. An environment like that would have scarred him for life. I didn't want such a thing for my son. So… I did what I did."

He paused and then took a deep breath. "In this time, I visited him once a year but never met him personally. I took away that chance from your mother and you. I had no right to do so myself. But I kept an eye out for him. My contractor was an Ultimate Class Magician who was protecting him all this time while hiding him in the human world. My plan was for him to teach Silas Human Magic if he had the potential for it. We needed to wait until his body was more ready… adjusted to his low Demonic Power." He stopped, closing his eyes and massaging them.

"Lord Sitri, my apologies if I am interrupting but, I have a question." Sirzechs spoke from beside her.

Her father merely looked at him and he continued.

"You said Silas wasn't producing enough Demonic Power to even keep him alive. I assume you were checking him regularly to see if there were any changes in his condition? I mean from what you have told us, there was no way he could have done what he did against Katerea without at least five times more Demonic Power than Serafall and that's a conservative estimate Ajuka made. Such power would make Silas similar to Ajuka and me instead." He questioned and she looked back at him for an answer.

Yes… It didn't make any sense.

"Every year. My contractor, the magician protecting him, checked for any changes. There was no change in the last eighteen years… well seventeen years. I missed my last appointment with him because…" He sighed. "...because I needed to take care of the fallout from Sona cancelling the engagement. The Salos house was not happy and I had to miss the regular appointment. We had planned to meet six months later… which was in the next two weeks for the next meeting but…"

"But…"

"I tried to contact him recently after finding out about the changes and… he's dead. From what I found out, he was killed by the Utsusemi Organisation. Silas' parents were targeted by some Yakuza who were actually a front of the Utsusemi organisation to collect funding in the human world. He protected them but they ambushed him later on. The whole incident was termed as a car accident in which both of Silas' adopted parents died. They did it for the land which they were living on which lay upon a leyline. The magician had brought them the house because he thought that it might have a positive effect on Silas' condition to live in a magic rich environment. It was a good suggestion and I agreed." He sighed.

"Silas himself completed his education from the high school after moving away from the place and then he disappeared somewhere. From what I found out, he seemed to have opened a restaurant but no matter how many people I send, I can't find any trace of him. I don't know what happened in the last six months. I…"

"Why…. Why didn't you tell us? Why didn't you tell me? All this could have been avoided. We could have helped too." She replied… tired.

He just looked into her eyes. "You wouldn't have allowed him to stay on earth. You would have gone to meet him if you knew. There was a chance of danger I was unwilling to take."

Her hands clenched but she knew that he was correct. But she still didn't agree with him.

At this moment she realised something else and looked towards the person who hadn't spoken anything from the start.

Her mother was staring into the space from the moment she read the file and hadn't said a word.

"Mother…" She called hesitantly but there was no reply. She just kept staring at the space in front of her.

"Sena?" Her father called out.

"I want my son back, Desmond."

She wouldn't lie but the tone in which she said those words chilled Serafall's spine. Her mother was always cheerful and happy looking.

"Sena, I…" Her father tried to talk but was stopped by a raised hand.

"I want my son back." She got up and continued. "Any talk we have will be after that." She turned towards her. "Tell Sona that I will be at the Dantalion House at my nephew's place."

She didn't give anyone any chance to speak as she left the room

Somehow even she didn't want to console her father. She could understand what he did but that didn't mean she agreed with anything. It was not his decision to make alone. For that she and her mother had suffered for eighteen years.

She too got up and left Sirzechs following awkwardly behind her.

The coming days would be extremely stressful for the Sitri house.
