But, a Time Eater had followed their father through home. Fortunately, together Sherlock, his brother and their father can/must find and send away the Time Eater before it eats up the whole of time and space.

As the Doctor dangled in the doorway during his regeneration, the TARDIS hit a building and the raggedy-dressed man just sort of... fell out. While wandering the streets of London in search of his box, the Doctor encounters an interesting pair out on a really-this-isn't-a-date before continuing his evidently unavoidable crash-landing. And every time the three meet hereafter.

Between season two and three of Sherlock, and before eleven travelled to Christmas, Sherlock and the Doctor share a chance encounter. Inspired by a post from tumblr.

At Danny Pink's funeral, Clara Oswald is approached by John Watson, Danny's old friend from the war. But John's friend Sherlock is there to talk to Clara as well- for a very different reason.
