When Maria returns from the Abbey, Captain Georg von Trapp has to make a decision: does he marry the Baroness, or the young postulant? His head tells him one thing, his heart another.

Georg and Maria find themselves alone in the big mansion for a week... oooh... but they don't understand what they feel for each other yet. What will happen? :-) Read and review please?

Maria wants Georg to sing, just for her. For the August prompt. I liked the idea, so I just made this little one shot. Just a lot of mindless fluff.

When Maria dies, will Georg slip behind his old Captain facade, or can he overcome his grief in order to be there for his children? Will he turn away from God again after all these years? Will Maria's passing finally break our ever-steady Captain?

Maria and the Captain have said all they needed to say - but what do they say to the children? Following on from the events of the gazebo scene, and to the morning when the children are told they are getting a new mother.

Georg and Maria meet in a different way than in the movie. You just have to read it to understand it. That's all I have for a summary. :)

Life has been restored to the Von Trapp family and to commemorate such an occasion, a party is being given. Maria has no intention of taking part in the event, but an unexpected request brings difficulties as she discovers her feelings for the Captain might go deeper than she is willing to admit. From a writing prompt I saw on Pinterest: Write about the color of pain and the taste of happiness.

Maria is sure she isn't cut out to be a Nun. So she is happy to leave the Abbey and start a new life but will she be allowed to follow the path that she wishes to travel.

The only thing that disappointed me about the Sound Of Music was that we never got to watch Maria and Georg actually marry or see slight glimpses of their honeymoon, so I decided to write my own opinion of what their reception could have been like.
