Six months after Sherlock Holmes falls off the top of St. Bartholomew's Hospital, an odd sort of telephone box appears on the corner of Baker Street. It's the Doctor, and he's come to investigate the mysterious goings-on regarding this man called Sherlock Holmes.

When a mysterious crack in time sends Rory to places elsewhere, the Doctor must enlist the help of consulting detective Sherlock Holmes to help get this friend back. But things are not as they seem, and hunters Sam and Dean Winchester get caught up in the excitement as well. An evil force is growing, and our heroes must band together to put a stop to it once and for all.

Rose Tyler was never one to wallow in self-pity. After the Doctor leaves her in a parallel universe, she decides it's time for an adventure all her own. The only thing she doesn't expect is a living, breathing Sherlock Holmes to become her best friend. So, when the Doctor is finally able to get back to her, will she go with him, or stay with Sherlock?
