There is a lot that the team doesn't know about the famous Calvary and the former Director of Shield. And frankly, they'd like to keep it that way. But, some things just happen. Call it a coincidence or fate but whatever it is, has a mind of its own. That is what Melinda and Phil are thinking as they are explaining to the team the reason for the emergency meeting.

"What's up AC?" Skye jokes with FitzSimmons, walking in with her tablet in hand. Glancing up, her smile immediately fades when she sees the look on her boss.

"..."

"What's wrong?" she asks, as May walks in with a similar face, "Okay… something is very wrong because May never shows emotion"

They all watch as May and Coulson take a deep breath before saying, "There's a lot you all don't know about us. We met in the Academy, and we fell in love," Just by saying this Skye's eyes widened dramatically. "It was the first week, and Melinda and I got paired up together. From the first meeting we became best friends. Once we graduated we got married,"

"Oh my gosh I knew you two were a thing" Skye grins, pointing.

"Skye," Jemma said urgently, nudging her friend. "Don't interrupt", wanting to hear the rest of story.

"Oh" she paused, "Sorry"

"We started a family and had a son. His name is Zach. We had three more daughters after that, Daisy, Brooke, and Robin."

At this point both FitzSimmons and Skye's mouths are gaped.

"But before we had Brooke, Daisy passed away"

"Oh my god" Skye breathed.

"Zach was turning two and Daisy, one when someone came in and knocked us out. We didn't hear Zach cry or Daisy being killed. We woke up, and knew everything was wrong. We rushed into the rooms and we found them. Zach was still crying and Daisy was not alive anymore in her crib."

May suddenly found her words to continue, "We called Shield, Special Forces, the Avengers, but even Stark's technology couldn't find anything."

"May and I took a break, it was too hard, but we got back together for Zach's sake, and two years later we started recovering,"

"- And I found out I was pregnant with Brooke."

"- Wait I don't mean to be rude, but why are you sharing all this with us?"

"Because" they pause, "This was sent a few minutes ago"

The email was sent from a fake user, under the name of JohnSonwedding107 (fake email address). The email consisted of a picture of a girl, maybe around 13 to 14 years of age. It basically said that they kidnapped this girl, and will do anything to her and anyone if they don't get what they want. The conclusion of the email said to meet at Lincoln Boulevard Sundown. The crazy part was it was signed. C u lAter.

"Let me guess," Skye says sadly, "Is she Robin?"

"Yes, everyone, Shield has been given this mission as top priority"

"How long do we have?" Fitz asks.

"It doesn't say, but I'm guessing not long"

"We are going to the Academy" Phil says, "Wheels up in 5 minutes!"

"Wait, I thought we were going to Lincoln Boulevard?" Skye asks, confused.

"We need to pick up Zach and Brooke before we head over" May says as she zooms by.

This leaves the Bus kids alone in the meeting room.

"So May and Couslon are married?!" Skye squeals.

"I know, I can't believe it" Jemma comments in her famous British accent.

"Robin is really pretty. I can see the mix of May and AC" Skye mentions bringing up the photo on her laptop.

"Yeah, the similarities are uncanny," Fitz smiled.

"I wonder…" Skye mutters to herself, "if we're missing anything in this email"

Melinda May and Phil Coulson,

Hello again. Don't worry, Robin is safe, for now. Listen to these instructions carefully. We don't want anything to happen to our precious Robin. Meet at Lincoln Boulevard Sundown. C u lAter.

"JohnSonwedding107?" Skye mutters again.

"Fake username," Fitz answers.

"True," she says, not even paying attention. She immediately goes to a new tab and searches (fake website) and comments, Sunny Meadows at California Resorts, means that Lincoln is the best.

"What are you searching for?" Jemma asks.

"Nothing, but dead ends," Skye says.

Meanwhile Melinda and Phil are in his office.

"Phil, this can't happen again" May cries.

It was very hard on both of them when they lost Daisy. Without Nat, Clint, Maria and the other Avengers they wouldn't be where they are today. Zach was a big help, in continuing on, because frankly without him, they wouldn't have had the strength to continue.

Phil stands up with his own tears and wraps Melinda in a hug.

"I know, I know" Phil cries sadly, stroking Melinda's hair.

Melinda lifts her head and softly says, "I need to get the bus up,"

With that she leaves Coulson in the room alone. Sitting down he sees the photos of his children in Melinda's arms, which makes him cry harder. Why didn't they quit Shield? He knew why, because Shield is their life, and protecting people is what they do. They were very apprehensive when Zach and Brooke wanted to join Shield, but they knew that they weren't able to talk them out of it.

Zach and his girlfriend Kora met like Phil and Melinda. It warmed their hearts to think about it. Melinda called it, when Zach called to complain about his partner, Kora in their first week. Now they are inseparable, and planning to get married soon. Both Melinda and Phil met Kora multiple times and really enjoyed her company. She is a pilot and just has a great personality.

Brooke is 17, and she is still in the Academy, but she is working in the Communications division. She loves it. Since their kids are older they don't feel as bad leaving them for a little. Of course any holiday and stuff they take time off to spend with their kids. Of course they all facetime each other every night. Brooke is a lot like Phil with her lighter features and bubbly personality.

Robin is the baby of the family, but don't tell her that. She is like Phil a lot, with a mix of Melinda. She is fierce and passionate, but light and airy. Robin is interested in the Field but in school she loves to travel too. She goes to a regular high school and stays with Melinda's mother, Lian and Melinda's father, William . They go to Lian's house for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Within 5 hours they arrive at the Academy to pick up their kids.

"Mom, Dad" Zach breathed coming to hug his mother and father,

"Oh Zach" she said tearing up again,

"Mom! Dad!' Melinda hears and sees Brooke running down too.

Suddenly they're all in a group hug crying.

"So what's the plan, how are we doing this? Is Aunt Tasha and Uncle Clint coming? Where's your team?" Brooke starts spilling.

"Oh mom, do you mind if Kora comes too?"

"No, of course not honey,"

"Hi, Mrs. Coulson, I'm so sorry about Robin"

Kora remembers very vividly when her boyfriend's little sister was kidnapped. Zach came in crying saying that his mom called Brooke and him together to say that Robin never got off the bus. Lian was making a snack, and was waiting at the bus stop. 2 hours later they got the email.

"Thank you, come on, we have to get Robin back"

They boarded and gathered in the conference room.

"Skye is a consultant and hacker, Jemma is our biochemist and Fitz is our engineer"
