A/N:- This is the seventh chapter of the Fanfiction. A part of this chapter is going to be a tribute to a specific theme of NaruTema Fanfictions. There are a lot of fanfictions which follow the same theme and it is quite common. When you read it, you'll understand.

Also, I have fixed the ending of the story and it will take another 2-3 chapters. It will be a happy ending but Naruto's fate will be somewhat tragic? But, it will be good and unique, I promise.

CHAPTER 7

TEMARI'S PROPOSAL AND THE ASSASINATION PLAN

"Good Night, Naruto-kun!"

After dinner, most of them headed back to their own rooms to get some sleep. Ino planted a quick kiss on Naruto's cheek as she bid him farewell and walked back to her room. Now, it was only Naruto and Temari, standing in the corridor alongside the lawns.

"Let's take a seat somewhere?" Temari asked as he replied,

"Yeah."

Both of them walked to a bench located alongside the small pond at the lawns. The place was enlightened by the moonlight and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. The soft, cool breeze of air leveled up the beauty of the surroundings. Naruto took his seat on the bench as Temari sat next to him, as she encircled her right hand around his neck and rested her hand on his right shoulder.

"How's everything going?" Temari asked as Naruto looked towards the sky, "I honestly don't know, it feels good but sometimes, everything seems confusing."

"Confusing?"

"My mind is just messed up. My so-called girlfriend doesn't love me, her sister loves me, and now, Ino also loves me and I love her back but I never realized it." Temari laughed lightly as Naruto ranted about his situation.

"Atleast, you have your mind messed like that." Temari chuckled as Naruto gave her a confused look, "What do you mean, Temari?"

"I mean, you can worry about these complex things about love and relationship because you get to date these girls or, more simply, socialize with these girls. Look at me, I never dated a guy."

"Wait, really?" Naruto said, astonished as Temari said, "Yeah, silly. I mean, other than our Dango dates during your time at Sunagakure, I never went on a date with any guy. No guy wanted to go with me on a date."

"Why? You are so pretty and beautiful…..Why won't anyone want to go on a date with you?" Naruto asked as Temari blushed a bit at his compliment, "You see, people were scared of me, partly, Gaara was the reason. I never blamed him for that. After you changed him, he became the Kazekage, thus, my status of being the Kazekage's sister became a new reason why no other guy would go on a date with me."

"I see." Naruto said as he made an understanding expression as Temari continued, "What I was trying to say that, other than Gaara, Kankurou and Baki-sensei, you are the only person whom I trust and admire the most." He smiled a bit after hearing that as both of them looked towards the moon, which was shining brightly.

"Naruto, do you remember that time when the Suna and Konoha council tried to get us in a Political Marriage?" Temari asked as Naruto laughed a bit.

"Yeah, yeah. My god what a chaos it was!" Naruto exclaimed as Temari let out a small laugh, remembering the memories of the chaotic, yet memorable incident.

FLASHBACK BEGINS

A 19 year old Naruto was standing in front of the Council of elders of Konoha. Apparantly, they wanted to have a discussion regarding an important topic with the Uzumaki clan head as he was summoned to the meeting by the elders. Well the reasons…enraged Naruto. So much that even Kurama started laughing after seeing Naruto's conditions.

"Seriously? A political marriage?" Naruto grunted as Homura noded.

"Yes, Uzumaki-san."

"But aren't these practices backdated? Why are these things even necessary now?!" He asked, a bit angered as an elder said, "Well, we find that Sunagakure has agreed to strengthen our alliance through this Political Marriage. Since, you are the only member of your clan, we think that you are an appropriate candidate for the matter."

'Alliance? But aren't the 5 nations already the part of the Shinobi Union?'

"They just want you to get married and have kids. Agree with the thing for now, we will discuss later on." Kurama said as Naruto huffed.

"I see, who is the candidate from Sunagakure?" Naruto asked calmly as another elder replied,

"Sabaku no Temari."

This was the last thing Naruto heard, before his blood rose from his feet to his head. He screamed at the elders so loudly that they got their shock for the lifetime.

"WHAT THE HELL? SHE AGREED TO THIS?"

"Y-yes, Uzumaki-San."

"Holy- see, my agreement isn't confirmed yet! I'll talk about this later on!" Naruto scowled as he stormed out of the council, leaving the elders in a puzzled state.

He was walking towards his clan compound as suddenly, a weasel appeared in front of him. The summon handed a scroll to him as he opened it and read out the contents of the scroll.

'Temari wants to meet me? Konoha Café?' Naruto thought as he closed the scroll and handed it to the weasel as it poofed out of existence.

After 30 minutes, he reached the Konoha Café, where he saw Temari sitting in front of a table, waiting for Naruto. He battle fan was rested alongside the wall.

"Hey, Temari." Naruto said as Temari looked towards him.

"Perfect timing. Take a seat." She said as Naruto took the chair on the opposite of Temari.

"You got the news?" Temari said as Naruto nodded.

"Yeah. You agreed to this?" Naruto asked her as Temari looked down.

"The council….actually forced me to do that. I had no other choice.." She huffed as Naruto looked into her eyes.

"Didn't Gaara had any say about it?"

"Nope. He actually supported it."

"Really?" Naruto asked as Temari nodded.

"I don't know…I am already dating Hinata." Naruto said as Teamri looked towards him.

"If you don't want it, you can deny the proposal. After all, your private life matters the most, right?" Temari asked, a hint of sadness in her voice.

"The council will probably deny my request and will force me to get into this mess." Naruto said as there was a moment of silence between both of them. Suddenly, Naruto's face lit up as he exclaimed, "I have an idea!"

"What is it?" Temari said as Naruto walked to her and whispered something in her ear as she smirked while listening to his plan.

"Sound fun!"

HOKAGE OFFICE

Kakashi was taking a break from his paperwork and currently was reading the latest volume of Icha Icha Tactics as the door suddenly opened with a slam, startling Kakashi.

"Lord Sixth!" Shizune entered the room, panting as Kakashi got up from his seat and ran towards Shizune.

"What is it? Any security breach?" He asked, slightly concerned as Shizune replied, "No, it's Naruto!"

"Naruto?" He asked, a bit surprised.

"Please come to the roof of the Hokage Towers quickly!" Shizune said as she lead Kakashi to the roof of the Hokage towers, where he saw a sight which he didn't expected at all. Thousands of Kage bunshins of Naruto were standing on the surface of the Hokage towers, the real Naruto standing on top of the fourth Hokage's head, the desert princess Temari alongside him.

"W-what the?" Kakashi was speechless as he looked at the sight. In a few minutes, several other Jonins, Chunins, even ANBU and the village council Elders arrived the place as the starred at the Hokage monument in awe.

"It's time…" The real Naruto said as Temari replied, "Do it."

"ARE YOU ALL READY?" The real Naruto shouted as all the clones replied, "YES BOSS!" in unison.

"What is he planning?" Kurenai asked as Kakashi facepalmed, "God knows."

All of a sudden, all the Naruto's clones shouted in unison, "I SWEAR TO GOD! IF YOU DON'T CANCEL THIS POLITICAL MARRIAGE BETWEEN ME AND TEMARI, I'LL BLOW OFF THIS ENTIRE HOKAGE MONUMENT WITH MY RASENGAN IN SUCH A WAY THAT THIS CAN'T BE NEVER MADE AGAIN!"

Now, all of them were genuinely scared.

"Did he just threatened that he will blow off this monument?" Guy asked as Kakashi just deadpanned.

Another 1 hour of chaos ensured as the Jonins and ANBUs tried to convince young lord to follow the council's request and spare the Hokage monuments but Naruto didn't listened the them at all. The entire time, Temari was laughing, so much that her stomach started aching due to all the laughter. But, unkown to Naruto, she was slightly saddened on the Inside.

"You people have crossed all the limits!" Naruto said as he formed a Cho-odama Rasengan, which was the size of the meteor that Madara had summoned during the fourth great ninja war.

"We have no other choice than to follow what Naruto wants.." Kakashi told as the council elders understood their assignment. The entire dilemma came to an end when the elders ensured that the Political marriage between Naruto and Temari would be cancelled…..

FLASHBACK END

"You were truly prepared to destroy the Hokage Monument that day?" Temari asked as Naruto replied,

"Nah, obviously I wouldn't do something like that. I just did it frighten the people. I didn't wanted to get us to a forced marriage…"

"About that…." Temari began as he looked towards her, "I actually lied to you back then at the café." She said, which surprised Naruto a bit.

"Lied?"

"Yeah…actually the council never forced me to get into a political marriage. It was my own wish."

'Own wish? Wait-' "You mean…"

"Yeah" Temari said as she fixed her eyes at Naruto's, "I wanted to get married to you."

"Heh?" Naruto replied. He was surprised.

"There is no one in this world except you who understands me. Whenever you are with me, I feel happy, comfortable and loved. I love to be by your side. We went on so many missions together, we fought together so many times. It seems to me that we have a connection." She smiled as Naruto listened to her.

"I…wanted to be your wife for a long time. But, I kind of gave up on that desire after I saw your love for Hinata. But, she betrayed your trust and now, I feel that, I might have another chance!"

Naruto could feel her emotions. Love, Trust, affection, belief. He felts his heart warmed. He couldn't deny the fact that he also loved her company. She is one of the few people whom he could trust blindly.

'Do I love Temari?' Naruto thought. The definition of love seemed to get even complex for him.

"Naruto, let's get married…" Temari said as she placed her head on his shoulder.

"But, what about Ino? Hanabi?" Naruto asked as Temari smirked.

"They won't mind to share their lover with me." She said as Naruto got a bit puzzled.

Turns out that, Temari, Ino and Hanabi already had a discussion about it when Naruto was taking some rest after he heard the truth about Hinata.

"They won't?" Naruto asked as Temari nodded.

'Marrying three girls? Sounds weird.'

"You can give it a try." Kurama smirled.

"But how?" Naruto asked as Temari placed her hand in his chest.

"What do you think about that?"

"That, what do you mean?" Naruto asked as Temari facepalmed.

"I meant, CRA."

"CRA? What's that?"

"You forgot was CRA is?" Temari asked as he nodded.

"Clan Restoration Act. Under this Law which was formed by the Shodaime Hokage, the last member of the clan can do multiple marriages. What do you think, Naruto?" Temari asked as Naruto thought about it.

"You are becoming a harem ki-"

'Shut up, Kurama.'

'Having multiple wives who love me doesn't sounds bad. I know who they are for years and, I think it's a good idea..'

Naruto turned towards her as he smiled, "So, when do we get married?"

"Whenever you wish, mister." Temari said as they did a quick kiss.

"So, what about the seal?" She asked, changing the topic. Although on the inside, she felt like the happiest person currently alive.

"Ero-sennin will permanently strengthen the seal tomorrow.."

"I see…" Temari said as they hugged each other and enjoyed the atmosphere.

A few minues later, they got up and walked back to their rooms. Before parting, Naruto gave a quick kiss to Temari as he walked back to his room. Matsuri was waiting for him at the living room, Mirai and Yuki were asleep at their own bedrooms.

"Matsuri, can you arrange a cup of tea for me?" He asked as she got up from her place.

"The restaurant might be closed at this hour but, I'll manage for you." She said as she walked outside the room. Naruto walked to his bedroom as he sat on his bed. He thought about all the things which happened throughout the day. It felts like a roller-coaster ride! Hinata doesn't loves him, Hanabi loves him, Ino and Temari also love him and he also loves them back and he agreed to get married to all the three girls under the Clan Restoration Act.

'I need to talk about all of these with Kakashi-sensei. Sakura and Sasuke will be surprised to hear about me conditions.' He laughed internally as he heard someone knock at his door.

"Yeah, come in, Matsuri." He ordered as Matsuri entered the room and handed Naruto a cup of milk tea.

"The kitchen was empty so, I made it myself." She said as Naruto took a sip of the tea.

"You made it? It's delicious." Naruto said as Matsuri blushed a bit at his complement.

"You would make a great wife."

Matsuri's heart started beating fast she heard what Naruto had just said. He was enjoying the cup of tea as she looked as him, blushing madly.

He handed her the cup as she bowed at him a bit.

"I wish I had someone back at home who could make a delicious cup of tea for me…." Naruto huffed as Matsuri smiled a bit.

She bid a good night of Naruto as she walked out of his room. She felt happy at his complements.

NEXT MORNING, NARUTO'S ROOM

"How are you feeling, Yuki?"

"I feel very peaceful, I can't hear those disturbing noises anymore. Thanks Naruto-niichan, Ero-jiji!"

Naruto and Mirai laughed at the nickname that Yuki had given to Jiraya while he just grunted about it.

Ino and Temari had already left the onsen for doing some shopping while Hanabi accompanied them. Sumiko and Ayano were standing outside Naruto's room, talking to Matsuri while Jiraya completed placing the seal on Yuki. Naruto and Mirai helped Jiraya with the sealing procedure.

"Now, the monster will never cause you any kind of harm." Naruto said as Yuki hugged him and looked at Naruto with her puppy eyes.

'So cute! Must protect!' Naruto and Mirai thought as they looked towards each other and nodded, seeming like that they were talking telepathically.

"Matsuri!" Naruto called for her as she entered the room.

"Uzumaki-sama?"

"Can you take Yuki with you and play with her for a while? I have to talk with Ero-sennin and Mirai for a bit."

"Sure, Uzumaki-sama." She said as she held Yuki and took her outside the room as Jiraya began speaking.

"My Spy Network says that Geto will arrive at Yugakure in a day or two."

"Here?" Mirai asked as Jiraya nodded.

'Yes, apparantly, he will have a meeting with the Daimyo about some business deals."

Naruto thought for a while as he spoke, "Geto will try to capture Yuki again for sure."

"What do you think we should do, sensei?" Mirai asked.

"I say, we kill him."

"Kill?" Jiraya and Mirai asked in unison.

"Yes. See, Geto is not a noble person at all. He has all these charges of Corruption, Money Laundering, Harassment, Illegal side business against him. But, every time, he escapes from getting arrested only because of his status and money." Naruto explained.

"How do you know all of this?"

"I read about his files and reports that Gaara gave me. Killing him is the best option."

"But, how will you do it?" Jiraya asked as Naruto said,

"Stealth is the best option. Problem is, I am not the best when it comes to stealth missions. We'll need someone who can do that. Ero-sennin, do you know how many people he is bringing along him?"

"Well, according the Info I have, he has hired two mercenaries who will be guarding him during his trip to Yugakure. These mercenaries are chunin level rogue shinobis."

"Chunin level?" Mirai asked as Jiraya nodded.

There was a few minutes of silence in the room before Naruto decided to speak.

"I have a plan."

"What is it, Sensei?"

"Firstly, we'll have to convince the daimyo that Geto was the reason behind all the attacks that took place in Yugakure, Yuki was innocent."

"That is going to be easy since you are going to talk to the Daimyo about it, right Naruto?" Jiraya asked as Naruto nodded.

"Yeah. After the meeting is over. We'll lure Geto and his bodyguards to the forests using a clone of mine henged as Yuki. Once they reach the forests, Ero-sennin, me and Mirai will finish the mercenaries and will capture Geto. Then, we will kill him in the most painful way." Naruto smirked at the last comment.

"Doesn't sound that much difficult." Mirai said as Jiraya nodded.

"Okay then." Naruto said as he stood up, "Let's go for some training, Mirai."

"Sure, Sensei." Mirai got up her from her seat as she walked outside the room with Naruto.

They went at the Onsen lawns where Naruto started training Mirai on her chakra blades once again.

"Mirai, you aren't applying wind chakra to the bladed uniformly…" Naruto said as she slowly handed the blades to Naruto.

"Sensei, I am having some troubles. Can you show me?"

"Yeah sure." Naruto said as he applied his wind chakra to the blade, creating a sharp layer around it.

Suddenly, he started to feel pain in his chest. His breathing became more rapid as he could clearly hear his heartbeat. Mirai saw that the layer of wind chakra around the blades disappeared all of a sudden as Naruto was panting.

"Sensei!" Mirai shouted as Naruto fell on his knees.

"M-my chest!" Naruto stammered, his breathing becoming heavier. Mirai quickly brought a bottle of water for Naruto as he drank water from it while she massaged his chest using her hands.

"Are you ok, Sensei?" She asked, panicked about the condition of her sensei.

"I-" Naruto wasn't able to speak. He just starred at the sky while Mirai massaged his chest, her eyes getting teary as she saw here sensei struggling to breathe.

A few minutes later, Naruto felt that his pain had slowly faded away. Mirai was still there, sitting alongside her sensei.

"I am alright, Mirai.." Naruto spoke as she hugged him tightly, on the verge of crying. Naruto hugged her back as he patter her head slowly.

"I have a very bad feeling about this, Naruto…"
