Idea 64.
I have no clue on a pairing as I just wrote this for in general fun.
U.A's Supporting Staff (?)
*All Might POV*
Toshinori wasn't sure how he was going to explain this.
Maybe he didn't need to, at least didn't need to defend himself, but he probably shouldn't have let the hero students tear up the training ground the way they did. It was something they should try to avoid in a real life situation so he probably should have impressed that upon them so they were at least mindful of it to an extent in training. He knew that U.A didn't lack the funds or ability to fix up the training ground but it would be out of use for a little while surely.
Either way, his schedule was clear for now so perhaps he would discuss with the principal about it. However, as he was about to leave he noticed a young woman arriving at the grounds. She was on the taller side, at least around 182cm, with her long green hair in a messy sort of updo but he quickly realized she was wearing a cleaning uniform. Clearly she was a one of the maintenance workers but he didn't see why she would be here when the mess was so big.
"Wow," the woman marveled to herself, staring at the broken down buildings. "The kids really did a number today," she stated with a hum, though she didn't appear bothered, and Toshinori walked over with a polite cough.
"I apologize for the troubles," he told her, catching the woman's attention, and she gave a smile back.
He was still in his hero form but his presence apparently didn't through the worker off her stride.
"Don't mind, don't mind," she waved with her large work gloves, "the new 1st years always get into using their quirks the first time round."
"That they do," Toshinori laughed. "Please allow me to tell the principal about it," he assured but the green haired woman gave a small shake of her head.
"No need, I can't put my kouhai out!" she warmly joked which made the hero flush at his newbie staff status. "I'm Midoriya Izumi by the way," she introduced but an awkward laugh followed as she scratched her cheek. "Man, it's strange to consider the number 1 hero as my junior staff."
"Please take care of me," Toshinori appealed back which made the woman chuckle.
"Do your best then, sensei," she kiddingly ordered but her attention went back to the collapsed buildings. "I'll get this cleaned up in a second so don't worry," she reassured but Toshinroi was still concerned.
"Are you certain?" he tried again and Midoriya raised an arm to flex.
"Leave it to me," she grinned and she took a few steps towards the rubble before prying off one of her gloves.
Toshinori waited to see what she was up to and the woman crouched down, placing her bare hand on the ground nearest to broken building, before pulling out a piece of paper with her free hand. Midoriya studied it for a second, mumbling to herself, when all of a second the ground rumbled and the rubble exploded apart, or rather broke down, and in a matter of seconds the building was reconstructed as if nothing had ever happened to it. Toshinori was taken aback at the suddenness but Midoriya was heading off to the newly restored structure while wondering aloud about inspections. The blonde was still staring at her retreating form and Midoriya turned around and noticed his look of certain disbelief before flashing another smile and giving an energetic waving before going on with her work. With that, Toshinori took that as a sign to get on his own way and he had a chuckle to himself.
U.A certainly had excellent staff beyond the pro hero ones.
I call it Fix Up but Izumi's quirk is straight up 'Overhaul'.
In this idea Izumi is Overhaul's younger cousin, though neither of them know that, and she was eventually adopted by Inko and then is now currently a maintenance worker at U.A. Her hobbies are fixing things, playing with legos since she can assemble and disassemble them, her job, morning walking, and trying canned coffees.
She's about 24-26 here and although she has overhaul as her quirk she mostly fixes things normally and only uses her quirk for the fully broken stuff. She can't really heal people due to her lack of medical knowledge but maybe I'll have her be able to do minor fixing later.
As I mentioned, I don't have a clue on a sort of pairing. As I was coming up with the idea it was just Izumi doing her daily job stuff and interacting with most of the characters as a sort of means for me to write and explore each character and their thoughts and worries.
