(Note from TME: Serious announcement in Intro AND at end in case people skip the intro, Atomsk is going on a vacation to Egypt tomorrow on April first… this is NOT an April fools joke… he WILL be gone for some time, at best 2 weeks before he returns so unless People see things posted on his end, chances are there is NO stories for Atomsk side of things for 2 weeks at best to 3 weeks at worst if he has delays getting to and from Egypt.)
The scene opens up to show TME while he was waiting for Atomsk while he was talking to Bubblegum, Marceline, and a few others.
"OK… so depending on things… think we should add Mobian humanoids people?... given we have wolf humanoids like Cedric and Cat humanoids like Emerald, pretty sure we can add more humanoids thanks to Maite, Rachel, and others showing up and stuff since last chapter… wonder where Atomsk is…" TME said while he rubs his chin.
After a bit, Atomsk came running in.
"S-Sorry man. Had to finish posting."
"Oh… well sorry for the rush man, wasn't trying to do that… by the way… given how close it is… may want to make an announcement again that you'll be taking a trip to Egypt soon to the readers… in case they wonder why there is a 2 week or so break from you and I in chapter making and what not." TME said when he noticed the readers that followed Atomsk inside from behind him.
"Right… well folks, I'm gonna be taking a little break from writing as I head to Egypt for two weeks with my family. So TME is going solo on any fics till I'm back." Atomsk said.
"Well either that or if Atomsk has good wifi in Egypt… we COULD take turns but yeah… until Atomsk gets back I may just do things solo for a bit… though given that Atomsk could be gone and back when this chapter is posted now that I think about it, could make this announcement moot… still in case this is AFTER he gets back… well now you know why we took 2 weeks off… guy had a vacation… enough said hopefully you all understand and stuff but for now… should get to the intro for real… so… yeah… ready to start chapter 3 Atomsk?" TME asked when he grins at Atomsk fully.
"Hehe, oh yeah. So like are the trio still young or is there a time skip. Also, do they investigate who's really controlling the drones in the last chap? Hopefully the moms of the heroes don't get too mad." Atomsk said.
"Oh don't worry… Emerald, Finn, and Cedric should be good… given what happened with Dawn and her getting grounded… she caused issues and stuff so she would be grounded for a bit… could do a week or so long skip to when she is off her punishment and stuff… do we have anything planned persay since last chapter aside Drone recon and stuff?... very least… we did have things with Marceline going with Un back to the dead worlds after dropping Emerald, Finn, and Cedric off back home so could start there and stuff with small time skips and lemons galore since we didn't have any lemons last chapter." TME said while he shrugs his arms.
"Hehe, that's true." Atomsk said with amused look.
"Hehe yeah… lets just start the chapter simple and have Marceline drop the kids off and bring the kids for the Dead worlds back and we start the fun with Death and maybe Life after Un goes to some lessons hehe." TME said while he looks REALLY amused now before looking at Marceline.
"Looks like you'll be having a lot of fun soon so better get ready hehe… who knows may have you bring Bubblegum as well if she waits at the border and stuff… given things can't just bring her to the wood nymph forest and what not." TME said while he remembers that until this drone thing… Bubblegum may not be well liked in the Wood nymph forest so best if she doesn't enter and waits for Marceline's return.
"No kidding. At least I'm here for fun." Marceline said.
"Yup… anyway… its scene change time!" TME said as the scene changed to the Wood Nymph forest border…
Ooo/ Woon Nymph forest border/ Border building/ Emerald, Finn, Cedric, Maite, Rachel, Azure, Un, Marceline, Bubblegum, Aura (Hybrid Deathclan warrior girl), Elena (Jungle princess)
Currently the scene showed around midnight for Marceline's safety mainly, the group listed above appearing from Emerald's magic teleport near a large building as Emerald looks at the others.
"We can walk from here with Marceline… sorry we can't teleport inside but… if I can be honest… many would not like it if Bubblegum shows up there… especially since even if she is telling the truth of the drones… if she appears via a teleport… could get her killed on sight if many think she is trying to invade or learn things she SHOULDN'T… reason why the drones are found out is because Grandfather Oak and his connection to the trees… even if invisible the trees work to protect the secrets of the forest and the Trents there would make intruders pay mercilessly… for men they would just eat them if they don't show much of a fight, capture men for the wood nymphs if they do put up a good struggle… or capture and have their way with women… Trents are normally a mostly male species after all and aside hybrids like this girl I know named Jade who I became friends with recently… may introduce you and Cedric to her Finn… but all in all… the forest doesn't show mercy to those who are weak… the Candy Queen may be strong with her mind… her body… not so much…" Emerald said when he had a serious look on his face when he looks at Marceline and Bubblegum mainly.
Bubblegum felt offended as Marceline pats her back.
"We get it." She said.
"No… you don't… if Bubblegum appeared in the forest and you wanted to say try and kill Grandfather Oak or something if he imprisoned her because of this Drone thing… and if you do… YOU Marceline would make EVERY wood and plant based being all over the world come and destroy the Candy Kingdom and invade the Nightosphere JUST to get revenge on you… I'm not going to be kind when I say this but your wife has one of the worst impressions with Grandfather Oak and many right now because of him not liking Bubblegum AT ALL… he hates Royal promises that her gumball guardians enforce… he doesn't like the drones and even if he did hear and listen to the reasons on her not making the drones… its a fact that many Wood nymphs know she used to spy in the past so her own methods in the past are not clean… honestly it would be best if she waits here at the border for you and I… I can help make a portal to the dead worlds so we don't have to do much but until she gets permission to enter the forest, which again before she says anything, she has no right to do anything in… well… enough said… if she or anyone from the candy Kingdom tries anything to my home…" Emerald said before a magical stake was before Marceline's chest before she could react.
"I would even kill Globs if it means protecting my home… Lord Death knows this… Lady Life knows this… even Un knows this… I don't give threats lightly but if Bubblegum tries ANYTHING at all just to try and figure out what is going on and IF it caused harm to Grandfather Oak and my family who live in the forest… I would be your FIRST and worst enemy to worry about because I would do anything to make Bubblegum pay… just because she didn't do this drone incident doesn't mean she is clear of all her issues with the forest and its people… you want one example before we leave… ask her about some toxic chemicals some of her Banana guards dumped long ago near here?... this was before my time but… when her kingdom was first made… Grandfather Oak had ancient wood nymphs kill and destroy various items Bubblegum had near here… mainly toxic chemical stuff and various other tech… before you call bullshit… Grandfather Oak can explain more but as you can see… I don't trust Bubblegum at all to be close to the forest…" Emerald said while he had a deadly serious look in his eyes as magic of life and death attributes emit from him in shocking waves to show he was serious in his threat to Bubblegum if she tried to do ANYTHING to the Forest he and his family and friends live in…. He maybe a kid but he also reminds many he was not one to underestimate with magic taught by Globs of Life and Death and more.
Bubblegum sees the serious look before looking at her wife.
"Let's go, Marcy. Better if we don't stay here longer."
Emerald was quiet as he dismissed his magic while he had a cold look in his eyes when he starts walking away… for some reason… something was bugging Marcy since… it seems like Emerald had some kind of issue with Bubblegum that went deeper then just a simple warning given the look in his eyes… even Cedric and Finn looked a bit worried since this was a bit new to them… a warning sure but this seems to be something else.
"Anyway little dudes. Better get home and hope things get better." Marceline said before she starts to carry Bubblegum as she flew back to the castle.
Cedric looks at Finn.
"Okay… this isn't good."
"Y-Yeah… hey Emerald!... wait up!... what got you so angry!" Finn said when he ran after Emerald as Un, Rachel, Maite, Azure, and Cedric chased after him as Emerald was quiet.
"You really want to know Finn because you may not want to go to the Candy Kingdom period after because while I have my issues… I can tell you this… its because of one of Bubblegum's experiments that I was born the way I was… least that's what Death told me when I was older and stuff…" Emerald said and while many look surprised… none were as surprised as Marceline when she heard that thanks to her super hearing even from a distance.
Marceline was surprised before she looked at her wife which confused Bubblegum as Cedric spoke.
"What?!"
"Yeah… apparently something broke free from one of her labs or something and while I was in my mom's womb, seems a creature tried to attack her… didn't do damage persay since my dad and others killed it but it radiated something and while it didn't effect them… it messed with me and the stress caused my mom to have issues soon after… she seemed to recover but… that's probably why I was stillborn… I'm not sure what kind of experiment it was but apparently Lord Death said that creature was not a naturally made being with candy traits… he did say something about the creature being locked WELL away but unless someone let it out to make Bubblegum look bad… well… enough said her experiment is the reason I died that day before I was even born… I'm not angry about that… what I'm angry about is that she just doesn't seem to get her actions have consequences… Grandfather Oak doesn't trust her in the forest because she could do anything and think she is above morals… even if she learned not to do that and just did things in her own kingdom… doesn't change the past and doesn't mean she is changed fully from back then… unlike us… she is immortal like Marceline so her actions and mentality could change the moment she and Marceline have issues and break up again… she did it before and could do it again so she is no saint to me even if others think she is sweet." Emerald explained as he walked more while he had a calmer expression on his face… Marceline couldn't hear much more of this even with her ears thanks to the distance and what not.
Undeath and many more were shocked.
"I… had no idea. Father always complained about her but… I never knew that."
"Probably for the best… heard from Lord Death and Lady Life that if Bubblegum dies, would be in one of the lower Dead worlds even if Marceline came to beg… she had many actions and things that practically spits in Life and Death's domain… only reason she isn't killed by an assassin yet from the Dead worlds is because Marceline keeps her in check and stuff… Marceline probably heard most of what I said but given the distance… not this… so try and not mention this to her any of you… Marceline would do anything to protect Bubblegum but unless she does anything worth something in Life and Death's eyes… honestly… I don't see why… she may have made a kingdom full of sentient candy but doesn't excuse the rest of her actions… EVERYTHING has a consequence for their actions… if Bubblegum can't get that kind of thing in life… well… if she dies… I'll enjoy it since she would get some serious karma." Emerald said and as he walked off… he had an unnerving smirk on his face that REALLY doesn't fit him.
Cedric and Finn did shudder.
"Glob… that's not good when he smirks." Finn said.
"Yeah…" Cedric said.
"Well hopefully Emerald will calm down… if he is to be Lady Undeath's future suitor… he will have to be impartial… taking personal issues will be a serious issue in matters so Bubblegum at best if she dies anytime soon if Lady Life and Lord Death retire… well chances are someone else will have to deal with her like the Judge or someone else who sorts souls in the Dead worlds." Azure said when she walked next to the others while she looks at Finn and Cedric.
"Just to explain its not just Lady Life and Lord Death who sort souls… my Father Charon takes special souls to Lord Death sure but my father does take into account the souls actions… if they did well… they get top tier treatment… if they do badly… they get sent to normal soul sorting… its a bit basic in the explanation but thats just one of the many ways souls are dealt with in the dead worlds." Azure said while she explained some things to Finn and Cedric.
"I see…" Cedric said but deep down…
'Shit… if I'm not careful I could end up in a terrible dead world.' He thought.
"So… wait… if I say become a hero or something… I would get top tier dead world treatment?" Finn said as Azure sighs and comically chopped Finn on his head.
"OW!" Finn yelps as Azure looks at him with a half lidded look.
"THOSE kinds of souls my father sorts out are the virtuous and the kind who never expect much in return for their help… mainly hero class souls… even if some souls do take things in exchange for their help… they do things that are worth it while not expecting to die… if things go by your logic Finn… any two bit hero or knight could be hero worthy if they expect to do good deeds and get high tier treatment like a VIP… try and not make fun of how the dead world works because you would be shocked at how many souls that think like you expect the VIP treatment yet get kicked down to normal sorting because of greed like that." Azure said when she looks at a dazed Finn.
"G-Got it… sorry." Finn said.
"Good… don't get it wrong… if you say act like a mercenary and get paid for your work… as long as you do your job and more… you COULD get a chance to become a heroic soul… it just depends on if you take evil jobs or not… before you say something like WHAT!?... or why would I take even jobs!?... we take situations into account… we can't fully ignore things like killing others in case a loved one is a hostage and your forced to do things but as long as you are not doing anything with malicious intent we give some leniency… and if nothing like that happens and if you do things and put in 120% effort to help out with others while only accepting nothing more then the reward… mainly you could still become a heroic soul… it just deepends on the situation and what not… after all your only mortal so mistakes are a given… I mean even immortals like Bubblegum and even Marceline in some examples are prime examples of beings who would not have heroic souls despite their accomplishments… if it was just from good actions alone… Marceline would be one of them but certain issues in the past with her make it hard for her to be sorted being the Princess of the Nightosphere… Bubblegum… no… just… just no… honestly Finn if you just do nice things and help others when it matters and not expect a reward… you would be a heroic soul in no time… doing things on the job to live… thats fine… just… don't end up like Bubblegum and think you're more than what you are… you're no Glob so try and not have an ego and think you're stronger than one because at the end of the day if you die… Lord Death and his group will judge your soul and to ALL souls… all are equal before globs when it comes to getting sorted." Azure said when she had a serious look on her face at the end as the group entered the forest.
"Yeah… Lord Charon doesn't just let anyone through… it would put him out of a job and in trouble with the God Auditor if he heard Lord Charon would let just normal souls by and stuff." Aura said and when many look at her…
"He is told to be working for the higher Globs to check in on Lower globs so if you piss off a Glob auditor… it will not end well even if Lady Life and Lord Death back you… to Globs of higher classes… unless you do something to impress even them… you would be less then dirt to some depending on how those higher globs work… not all of them are like that but some are but they take their jobs SERIOUSLY… so… yeah… best to not anger the higher globs." Aura said when she followed that up since she lived in the dead worlds and knew things as well.
"Yeah… heard from my mother that Lord Death and Lady Life when Lord Death came to visit her during the Festival of the dead that even he wouldn't want to anger the higher globs since they could take his job away and stuff VIA the God Auditor… think of him as giving the pink slip in a bad way to Globs who shirk their duties… but given what Lady Life and Lord Death do… they get passes to do what they want with their mortal worlds to some level so having the Death Clan is an OK thing to many… heard there are other dimensions that allow similar things so its not like there would be issues… just can't anger the higher Globs." Elena said when she explained more from stuff she heard about from the past.
Finn pales at the look from the triple explanation from the three Dead world experts… more so when Emerald had a serious look as well.
"C-Crystal."
"Good… though just in case a Glob angers you in the future and you get the idea to try and kill one…" Azure said as Undeath speaks.
"I'll explain this one Azure… you're making Finn want to pee his pants if the fear in his eyes are any indication." Undeath said when she saw Finn shaking like a leaf comically.
Azure shrugs.
"Alright."
"Alright… I'll be quick and say this… there is a serious consequence in killing a Glob… if you say for example kill my father… you would be forced to take his Place and become the new Glob of Death as an example… were not invincible after all and while some may find becoming a Glob tempting… there are serious rules in place that would make any mortal hesitate in going that route… mainly you would be forced to more or less take on the job of being Death as an example… sort souls occasionally… deal with collecting souls… and most importantly deal with matters that would risk the balance of said life and Death… all in all… may have some perks but my father does want to semi-retire occasionally so I would be trained to take over after some time and more or less have Emerald be my other half… of course he wouldn't be official since he would have to kill my mother or father but that would never happen given he owes Mom his life… but all in all he would help me with keeping things in order… point is… you REALLY don't want to go that route… especially since my father had to get permission from the Globs above even HIM to get permission to allow me and Emerald to take over for some time while Mom and Dad go on vacation so to speak… they can't stay retired forever but vacations can be done… so… get why killing a Glob would be a bad idea?" Undeath said when she looks at Cedric and Finn with her two heads.
Cedric and Finn gulped before nodding their heads.
This had the group walk more… though… oddly enough as the group left the scene and what not… to some surprise… the air shimmered and well… Dawn shockingly appeared from an invisibility trick she got from Marceline and well… the shocked look on her face showed she heard a LOT more then some would expect… guess she followed the group with her speed while making sure Marceline couldn't track her and since the spell thing was an instant thing VS Dawn's speed… she was able to catch up after a number of minutes… she was in hiding but heard a lot more about her Mom Bubblegum then she would have liked and… more with Emerald and potential reason for his death… honestly the only reason she didn't go ballistic right now was because that it sounded like someone let out whatever experiment her mom was working on at the time and stuff so while she had MANY questions… looks like she would only get more if she went into this kind of line of thought… she maybe smart but she was only still a kid at the time so she was just getting a headache as she rubs her head.
'I can't believe one of mom's experiments was the cause of Emerald's misfortunes and now… it's likely I'm also not gonna be well liked for being related to them." Dawn thought.
Still she did look determined given that unlike her mom… she didn't do much to the group… she would may as well show that even if Emerald had issues with her Bubblegum… wouldn't have issues with her at least.
'Okay… I just gotta show them that I'm not like mom.' Dawn thought.
This comically had her float after Finn's group so if she wanted to visit… would need to find out where Emerald, Finn, and Cedric lived first… as she follows… the scene went to Marceline and Bubblegum for now as they got back to Bubblegum's room and Bubblegum slightly stretched her arms.
Ooo/ Candy Kingdom/ Bubblegum's room/ Bubblegum, Marceline
"Well… that… was something… shame we couldn't take Undeath, Azure, Rachel, and Maite back to the dead world… maybe if we visit Death and Life, could ask them to send someone to wherever Emerald, Finn, and Cedric live, and pick them up and stuff." Bubblegum said though she blinks when Marceline was… oddly quiet…
"Marceline? You're oddly quiet, all okay?" Bubblegum said.
Marceline was silent before she looks at Bubblegum.
"Maybe… maybe not… lets just… head to Death and do what you said and stuff first… can take the usual path." Marceline said when she rubs the back of her head while she looks thoughtful… she then moved to look at a corner of a wall with a 90 degree angle and looks cross eyed before she floats over to get to the Dead worlds.
Bubblegum was confused before he follows Marceline not knowing what her wife was thinking.
After this happened and the duo got to Death and Life in Death's home and while he was on the phone.

"Yes… yes… yes… alright… I'll make sure to give you a bonus for this… OK… bye." Death said in a relaxed tone instead of using a Glob type tone… he sounds more relaxed.
"OK… one of my workers will be visiting Grandfather Oak's place soon to pick up Undeath and the others… so will that be all you two?" Death said as Marceline looks thoughtful before…
"Yeah… before we do anything fun… I want to ask… is it true that one of Bonnie's past experiments is why Emerald is here working for you as a soon to be replacement for you or Life for that vacation I heard rumors you two would be going on when the time comes?" Marceline asked while she had crossed arms.
Bubblegum blinks a bit.
"What?" She said with a surprise look.
Life looks surprised while Death looks amused.
"Did Emerald tell you?" Death said as Marceline shakes her head.
"No… he was telling his friends as I was flying away with Bonnie… said one of her experiments was let loose by someone so wasn't Bonnie's handiwork there so I'm not blaming her for what happened… but I just want to check… was it true Emerald was stillborn thanks to him being irradiated?" Marceline asked as Death takes a moment to look at her.
"And if I tell you… what would you do?... Given things it would be old news… Emerald isn't hostile to Bubblegum… a third party had one of Bubblegum's early abominations let loose so not like she can be at fault for this… you worried that Emerald would hold a grudge or something given your daughter maybe friendly or more with him or hehe… maybe you and Bubblegum if you think of giving him a good time when he is 18 would help his issues with Bubblegum?" Death said while he looks amused as he looks at Marceline with a curious look in his glowing eyes.
"Wait!… someone let loose one of my experiments and it did something to Emerald?" Bubblegum said as she was now shocked at the info.
Death looks amused.
"Guess your guards are idiots for not telling you… I'll keep it brief, one of your twisted experiments, a Candy Chimera, was let loose by someone, I maybe a Glob but I can't say much else on that because even I don't know who did that one… but the Chimera was irradiated and while it was let loose and rampaged toward Grandfather Oak's forest… well… enough said while no one died… someone wasn't born properly… if not for Life and I… one of your experiments would have killed an unborn child just from being near it…" Death said while he looked at Bubblegum seriously.
"Want more info… go to one of your hidden bunkers near Grandfather Oak's forest during the day or something… one of the ones you rarely use… should have plenty of info unless you had that place abandoned." Death said while he relaxed in his large chair.
Bubblegum gasps before covering her mouth as she starts connecting the dots for a bit… that's why Emerald blamed her and why Dawn couldn't see him through the goggles since it revealed things that were unexpected… he wasn't truely alive in the normal sense. Drones aside… well some of it… she was partially to blame since it was her experiment.
Death looks amused by this.
"Oh don't look too shocked… given your past records and given what you may do if you and Marceline ever break up… not exactly a saint if you have relapses… look lets just say that you owe Emerald BIG time so could either give him a good time when he is 18 or let him date your daughter or something… enough said she is friendly with Lillum so the apple may not fall far from the tree if Dawn dates Lillum in the future but point is, got lots to do before you think Life and I would believe you would feel bad for long… while you do have MANY issues Life and I would get onto you about… your no coward… your not someone who just takes one fall and you get back up… or is the Candy Queen who married Marceline so fragile that she is just a glass cannon when it comes to doing things in over the top manners?... because if so… well the Bubblegum my records show wouldn't take this lying down… well… not without her ankles at her head hehe… point is Bubblegum… are you a crier… or are you going to actually do something to help make up for things… you may have not let that Chimera loose… but you did make the thing in the first place so may as well say that you'll think of something to make up with Emerald for later once things calm down and stuff…" Death said when he gave Bubblegum a psudo peptalk/taunt since even if Bubblegum cried… it was a fact given how she made a kingdom… did so many things to get here… she was sure as hell no crier even if this was a shocking bombshell and stuff.
Bubblegum can cry but she knew that she will have to fix things with Emerald.
Death looks amused before he got up.
"Well… unless you want to leave… may as well cheer up Marceline with a fun time since she does owe me one… and could bring Life in… she does like using her two tongues on some tight holes hehe." Death said while he looks amused when Life smirks when she licks her two maws with long tongues.
"Indeed I do." Life said.
This made Marceline blush lightly though she did glance at Bubblegum to see what she would do.
Bubblegum frowns.
"I'm not leaving if you think I'm gonna cry."
"Good… least you're stubborn in some good ways… follow me you three… may as well show you the bedroom and help you ladies relax." Death said while he looked amused as he started walking.
"Oh… and don't worry Marceline… can change that spectral cock I have to a deep red color so feel free to drain me dry hehe." Death said while winking at Marceline.
Marceline blushes from that before the trio follows Death though now Bubblegum was quiet.
Death noticed this and lightly nudged Marceline who floats near him and gave a subtle gesture that when the fun happens… should cheer up Bubblegum.
Marceline sees this and goes to her wife.
"Bonnie?"
"Hmmm?... something wrong Marcy?... was following and stuff." Bubblegum said when she looks curiously at Marceline.
Marceline wasn't buying this.
"I know what happened is bothering you but I know we can solve this mystery together."
Bubblegum blinks at this.
"Well… I'm not worried too much about WHO did it since I have to see some security cameras and stuff on what is going on… hopefully I can find out some things… I'm worried about how to make things up with Emerald… issues or not… I'm still part of the reason he… well…" Bubblegum said as Marceline, though still a bit worried on how THAT part of PB and Emerald meeting to bury the hatchet will go… most likely when he is 18 or something… though Marceline trying to help Bubblegum relax surprisingly smacked her ass.
"Oh relax Bonnie!... sure its a shock and stuff… but knowing you, you'll do well in making things up to Emerald… doubt he would stay mad if you let him fuck your ass later when he is older… I mean you even let that one Royal fuck your ass to help with that peace treaty and they were hostile to you hehe." Marceline teased when she smirks at Bubblegum.
Bubblegum blushes brightly.
"It was the only solution… and don't remind me."
"Hehe hey just saying… that sexy legendary ass can make even Globs weak in the knees… I mean last time we had fun with Death, guy was firing blanks if you remember that party… then again at the time you were hammered when someone swapped drinks around so you accidentally drank Glob level drinks and did things no one should speak about again but I digress… you are one hell of a party girl where it counts when having fun so let's just forget our troubles for now and have fun." Marceline said before she floats after Death and Life while Bubblegum blinks at what Marceline said… did things she doesn't remember?
"Wait… what?!" Bubblegum said before going after Marceline.
Marceline though kept quiet as Life giggled and Death looked amused as the group entered a large bedroom.
"Eh never you mind, best if you don't remember… for now we should focus on the fun so unless you ladies want to bathe if you haven't yet, you should get undressed… Life and I bathed so we were good on our end." Death said while he looks at Bubblegum and Marceline with an amused look.
Marceline grins as Life giggles before they and a blushing Bubblegum decide to use the restroom to wash up.
Death chuckles before he moves to the bed and undresses before he waits for the trio to exit the bathroom.
