Something hadn't been right in a while. Lately, Miss Piggy found herself overcome with a sense of unease, as she started puking into whatever was nearby and getting a lot more than just her beauty sleep. Not only that, but her normally voracious appetite had diminished slightly. Sensing that something was awry, she couldn't shake the feeling that this was not just a passing phase. She had no idea what it could be, but she was determined to get to the bottom of it. This wasn't normal. This just wasn't normal. She couldn't figure out what was wrong, but she knew something was different. She knew what she had to do. She had to go see a doctor about this.
Motivated by a strong desire for answers, she resolved to consult the esteemed Dr. Jones at the renowned Muppet Hospital to unravel the enigma that had been causing her concern. She made an appointment with Dr. Jones over at the Muppet Hospital and was determined to get the answers she was looking for. She was worried, but also excited to get to the bottom of this mystery.
"Piggy Lee?" a nurse called out to her. "Dr. Jones would like to see you now."
Miss Piggy quickly got up from her seat. "Well, it's about time!"
She then marched behind the nurse into Dr. Jones' office, where the latter had been waiting for her.
Dr. Jones gave her a warm smile. "Good afternoon, Miss Piggy. I was expecting you. So what seems to be the problem?"
Miss Piggy nervously sat down and began to explain her symptoms. Dr. Jones listened intently, nodding as she spoke. She then asked some questions before suggesting that she give Miss Piggy a thorough examination to confirm if Miss Piggy could be pregnant or not. Miss Piggy agreed to the examination, and Dr. Jones proceeded to take her medical history and perform an ultrasound. Miss Piggy lay back and watched the screen anxiously as Dr. Jones moved the ultrasound wand over her belly. Suddenly, a tiny heartbeat appeared on the screen, and Miss Piggy gasped in amazement.
After a long and thorough examination, Dr. Jones looked up at Miss Piggy and grinned. "Congratulations, Miss Piggy! You're pregnant!"
Miss Piggy's eyes widened in shock. "Pregnant? Are you sure, doctor?"
Dr. Jones chuckled. "I'm absolutely sure. You're about eight weeks along."
Miss Piggy gasped, her hands flying to her stomach. This was news she had never expected to hear. A mix of emotions began to wash over her as she became aware of what was happening. She was excited, of course, but also a little scared. She had never imagined herself as a mother before. She faced a dilemma, one that seemed rather daunting on the onset. What was she supposed to do now? Would she have to put her whole career on hold just to raise a child? She'd have to think about that later, but first she needed to tell Kermit. After all, he was the father.
As she walked back to her dressing room, she couldn't stop thinking about the news. She wondered how Kermit would react, and how their lives would change with a little one on the way. She had always wanted a baby, but the timing was never right. Now, it was finally happening. She felt a mix of excitement and fear, but mostly she felt happy. She couldn't wait to tell Kermit the news and start the preparations for their new life.
As soon as she got to her dressing room, she picked up the phone to call Kermit.
Kermit picked up immediately. "Hello?"
"Kermit, it's me," she replied. "I just got some news from Dr. Jones."
"What's the news, Miss Piggy?"
Miss Piggy took a deep breath. "I'm pregnant, Kermit. We're going to have a baby."
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line before Kermit spoke again. "Really?"
Miss Piggy nodded. "Yes."
"How could this have happened? We only had a one-night stand."
"I know. I don't know if I can do this, do you?"
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and Miss Piggy felt a sense of dread wash over her. What if he didn't want to be involved? What if he didn't care about their child?
But then she heard his voice, strong and sure. "No, but we'll figure this out together. No matter what happens, I'll be there for you, Miss Piggy."
Miss Piggy felt a wave of relief wash over her. "Really, Kermit?"
"Really. I know it might be scary, but we'll figure it out together. We'll be the best parents we can be."
Miss Piggy felt a tear roll down her cheek. She knew that she and Kermit were in this together, and that they could handle anything as long as they had each other.
"Thank you, Kermit," she said softly. "I love you."
"I love you too, Miss Piggy," he replied. "I can't wait to start planning for our little tadpole-piglet!"
Miss Piggy couldn't help but smile at Kermit's enthusiasm. She knew that they had a long journey ahead of them, but hearing his support made her feel more confident.
"Alright, Kermie, I'll see you soon," Miss Piggy cooed. "Buh-bye!"
"Bye bye," Kermit replied.
As Miss Piggy hung up the phone, she couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. She was going to be a mother, and with Kermit by her side, she knew they could handle anything that came their way. They would need to start making preparations for their little tadpole-piglet's arrival. From finding the perfect nursery decor to researching parenting classes, there was so much to do. But Miss Piggy knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they had each other and their love to guide them through this new chapter in their lives. And as she sat in her dressing room, imagining all the joy and laughter that awaited them as parents, Miss Piggy couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the unexpected gift growing inside her.
