17. The Family of your choice

Autumn 🍂

"Sometimes we ourselves choose our real family."

The next morning.

Saturday, September 2nd.

09:05 a.m.

"Yuta, wake up! It's time to start the day!" shouted Maki, pulling the blanket that her husband was covering himself with and opened the curtains, letting in the daylight.

Yuta opened his eyes as he felt his blanket disappear and the cold hit his feet.
"What's wrong Maki?" He blinked several times, "Are you and the baby okay? IS THE BABY COMING?" he asked worriedly, sitting up quickly.

Maki was a little amused by Yuta's reaction.
"I think it's about time we practice a phrase for when my water breaks and the baby is born" she giggled.

She put her hands on her hips.
"We're both looking great and with some energy, so come on, get up and change clothes! We're going to have breakfast first and from there I want us to go as a family to the aquarium they have here in Sendai"

"To the aquarium?"Yuta had his eyes closed because the daylight that was penetrating into the room through the curtains that Maki opened "Why do you want to go there? I don't think we will have enough time to visit the aquarium."

"I have already arranged that!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms, "I talked to Mr. Ijichi and I got him to change our departure ticket to Tokyo for tomorrow's train at noon, and if we hurry from now on, we can enjoy that place in peace and quiet for the whole afternoon!"

"You promised that we would go to the aquarium, besides you said that you would show me an interesting place in your city where they sold delicious desserts and I want you to show me those places before going back home. So let's go to breakfast and from there to the aquarium as part of our mini vacation here"She caressed her belly tenderly.

Yuta sighed deeply and relaxed his shoulders. A faint smile tugged at his lips. She had to keep her promise, and maybe this outing would serve as a distraction because she still felt too sad about everything that had happened the day before.

"Okay love, let's go to the Aquarium"

11:15 a.m.

After having breakfast and going for a delicious dessert in the center of Sendai City.

Maki and Yuta went directly to the aquarium.

For some reason, the Maki seemed very excited to walk through those fish tanks, which looked like works of art, with their blue colors and the different colored fish swimming around.

On the other hand, Yuta looked pensive and even a bit down, but he seemed calmer about everything that had happened with his sister and father the day before.

The two of them were holding hands, walking along the corridors. When they stopped to look at the fish tanks, Yuta hugged his wife's back and lovingly caressed her belly and rested his face on Maki's shoulder with melancholy.

They admired the big fish tank where the sharks were. They also saw a show with sea lions.

They also reached the penguin area. Where Maki made a joke about soon walking like one of them.

The turtle tanks captivated Yuta, who had never seen them so closely. He was so fascinated by their shells and slow movements that he even stared at them for a long time. The visit continued through the rest of the aquarium, touring each space filled with animals and marine exhibits.

02:47 p.m.

After three hours of walking around that place, holding hands and with Yuta occasionally caressing his wife's bulging belly. They both decided that they would take a break near the open air area they had in that aquarium.

Due to her cravings and the heat she was feeling from her hormones, Maki asked to buy some ice cream, which was served in a small penguin-shaped cup.

"This is not bad at all and I even think the baby likes it" she said with the spoon in her mouth.

"It seems that the taste hasn't changed much over the years" commented Yuta, eating his ice cream."

"Have you visited this place before?"asked Maki curiously.

"Yes, when I was a child they brought us on a field trip in elementary school and I also came here several times with my..." Yuta sighed sadly "Sister and parents"

Maki took another bite of her ice cream, leaving the spoon in her mouth and then moving it from side to side in response.
"I understand, well, if it makes you feel better, I confess that this is the first time I come to an aquarium" she left her other hand on her belly.

"That's why you wanted to come?" Yuta asked curiously, "I thought you would be the first to tell us to go straight home"

"Yes, I admit that I already wanted to go home, but with what happened yesterday, I just wanted to cheer you up before going back to Tokyo" she ate some more of her ice cream, "So I thought it would be a good idea to bring you to a place like this," she pouted, and a bit of ice cream lingered at the corners of her lips.

Yuta smiled at his wife's gesture. He approached her lips and kissed her tenderly and removed that slight stain of ice cream from her lips.

"Thank you so much, love, for this. I really feel better already!" he kissed her again and put his hand on that bulging belly.

Maki reciprocated her husband's kisses and then with a napkin, wiped his lip.

"You're welcome, I just thought we could have a little family outing, just the three of us, as you suggested" she gave him a gentle tap on the forehead with her thumb and forefinger, "Besides! I don't like to see you depressed like this, you make me feel bad and even the baby hurts to feel that way. We just want you to be happy"

Yuta smiled at that comment while rubbing his forehead. Tears were coming to his eyes at those words.

"Really... thank you very much for everything, Maki san…" Yuta answered with his voice half breaking.

The two exchanged a tender look, while Maki put Yuta's hand on her belly, as her baby was moving at that moment and she wanted him to feel their child.

"Well, I guess when our baby is older, we could bring him to this aquarium or the one in Tokyo or Okinawa"

"Or we could take him or her to the three aquariums and let him or her decide which one he or she likes best" smiled Maki as she looked at the people coming and going.

They observed several groups of friends, couples on dates and families enjoying the place. They also saw a group of children hiking and other people eating.

But above all, Yuta was struck by those parents who carried their children on their shoulders or held them by the hand.

"Maki san, do you think I will be a good father?" he asked while playing a little with his spoon.

That question surprised his wife too much.
"Why that question?" she arched an eyebrow.

"Well..." he took a deep breath and let the air out in a sigh "I just wondered if I would be a good father figure for our son..." he replied, looking down at his half-eaten ice cream.

Maki first gave him a kiss on the cheek and then stole the last of the ice cream with her spoon.
"Baka! What makes you think you'll be a bad father? Are you already regretting having a baby with me? Are you thinking of abandoning me? Don't you love this family anymore?"

Yuta shook his head and quickly waved his hands.
"Of course I don't regret having a child with you! And I would never do something as cowardly as leaving you with a baby on the way. Besides, you two are the only family I have!" he looked down.

"But what I mean is, will I be a good father to our son? Will I know how to support him? Will I know how to take care of him and protect him? I ask myself these questions because the truth is... I don't want to be an absent father and much less I want to be like my own father, who simply walked away from me when I needed him the most..." a pure sadness was reflected in his face.

Maki sighed and looked at the people walking around.
"Well… we both have the same fears about whether we will be good parents for this baby because, let's be realistic, neither you nor I had good mother figures, let alone good father figures" she caressed her belly in circles, "But, that didn't stop us from deciding freely about being parents and well, we won't know if we are good at it until the baby is born and we really take care of him or her"

Yuta sighed at those words.

Maki's hands went to her husband's cheeks, making him look her in the eye.
"But if you ask me. I know you will be the best father for our baby soybean" she smiled.

Hearing this, Yuta could not hold back his tears, so he embraced his wife, taking refuge in her arms and feeling the warmth of what was now his real family.

03:37 p.m.

The couple was walking a little further into the aquarium when a show caught their attention from the second floor railing where they were standing.

In front of one of the larger fish tanks, there was a row of candles, which at the end and in front of the tank formed a heart. Around the heart were many petals and in passing there were several bouquets of flowers. It all seemed to be the perfect romantic setting for what was to come.

Yuta and Maki noticed how in that area, there was an aquarium worker, who was posing as a presenter, who chose a couple "at random" to show the new show that the aquarium had prepared as a surprise for its guests.

"Oh!" exclaimed Maki with a big smile, "I think I know what's coming next!" she said, looking at the scenery from the railing.

A year ago, she had had a similar surprise, with too many flowers and bright lights. So she already knew what would happen next.

The presenter asked the bride and groom to move to the center of the heart, while announcing that the show was about to begin.

At that moment, they noticed how two girls dressed as mermaids appeared inside the fish tank, who greeted the bride and groom and the audience.

The mermaids swam gracefully among the colorful fish, performing acrobatics and creating a magical atmosphere while a lively song played on the aquarium's speakers.

At the end of the show, the sirens signaled to their partner.

"The mermaids asked them both to cover their eyes. Apparently they are going to bring them a gift" commented the presenter passing a blindfold to the bride and groom. But in complicity, they only covered the bride's eyes.

The girls dressed as mermaids came up for air and then started down with a sign.

"Very well, the mermaids ask that on the count of three the eyes be uncovered"" said the presenter, giving the groom time to prepare the ring.

"One, two, three!"

The presenter commented, causing the bride to uncover her eyes and put her hands to her mouth at the surprise she saw in front of her.

That sign carried by the sirens said "Will you marry me?" next to that woman's name.

At that moment, her boyfriend knelt down in front of her.

"Ema, my life, will you marry me?" said the groom through the microphone and showing her that engagement ring.

That girl began to cry from happiness "YES, I ACCEPT!" she shouted from the emotion that could be heard up to the second floor. And once her fiancé put that ring on her ring finger and stood up, they joined in a strong hug and a tender kiss in front of those spectators who started to applaud.

Yuta seemed very excited to see this spectacle and did not hesitate to applaud loudly.

Instead, Maki smiled a little and then sighed.

"puaj!" she pretended to be nauseated, "How cheesy all this is, I think I'm going to throw up..." She remove off from the railing to go and sit on a bench nearby.

Yuta let out a slight chuckle at what his wife had said. He knew she said it out of annoyance.

"I guess that show must have cost that boyfriend a lot of money, you can tell he put a lot of effort, budget and feeling into it" said Maki taking a place on that bench and leaning her back while looking at the fish tank in front of her. "I guess it could have cost him a month of your salary as a special grade sorcerer," she put her hand on her belly, opened her legs a little and stretched them slightly.

Yuta sat down next to him. "It was still a very awesome show. I feel he beat me in originality"

Maki let the air out when she heard those words.
"I would say that you didn't do it wrong the first time you asked me to marry you either" she moved her right hand from one side to the other, while her left hand rested on her belly, "Although since I saw the place where you took me, I already suspected what you were going to do. I knew you were going to ask me to marry you"

Yuta raised an eyebrow at that answer.
"Did you suspect it already? I'm referring to my marriage proposal"

Maki caressed her belly tenderly. A sigh escaped her lips as she recalled the scene in vivid detail.

"Yes, since I saw the path of candles and red rose petals leading to that tree, something inside me froze. I don't forget how that tree was decorated with cascading lights and how from its branches hung those pretty lanterns, as well as those two curtains in shades of white, held up by roses and which when falling revealed even more roses under them..." she looked at Yuta with a slight grimace and narrowed her eyes- "THERE I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE PLANNING TO DO!"

Yuta sighed and looked at his hands.
"And now a year after that, I feel like I overdid it with the decorations. Although Nobara was practically the one who helped me decorate. I asked her for all the help I could get thinking you would like it."

Maki caressed his cheek and then her fingers squeezed his nose for a moment. "You know I'm not a woman who likes things that border on the extremely cheesy" she sighed, as if she had remembered something else.
"But now looking at it from this side, already a year later and married to you, I think I was lucky that you asked me to marry you in that way..."

Yuta smiled upon hearing that, as his wife leaned her head on his shoulder.

"And I remember you proposed to me just two weeks after we had talked about living together in our first apartment" Maki laughed lightly, "Remember when I proposed to you about living together outside the academy?"

Both she and Yuta seemed to share the same memory, for there was a spark in their eyes.

"I still remember" Yuta replied with a big smile.

Flashback.

Almost two years ago.

End of January.

Maki was lying on the bed in her room at the academy. Three years had passed since she had been assigned to that space, and every corner brought back memories of her life as a student.

Next to her was Yuta, her boyfriend at the time, who had entered the room minutes before. The two were together after Yuta returned from a mission and took a bath.

There was no shortage of kissing, snuggling and cuddling. They took turns hiding their faces in each other's necks, enjoying the warmth and intimacy of their touch. Although they knew it was forbidden, they both enjoyed spending time in their rooms, taking turns between rooms to be together.

"I don't want to move from here, but I don't want to be noticed again" said Yuta, looking at her and running his hand over her back.

Maki laid her head on her boyfriend's chest. A small laugh escaped her lips as her breath brushed the skin of his neck.
"Yes, I admit that time we were called to attention for making 'undue noises'" she sighed. "Although I won't deny it, I'd like to have more freedom outside these four walls. I wish I could sleep with you without having to hide between the two rooms. I long to have a place to come to every time we finish a mission, a space that is ours alone."

Yuta made circles on his girlfriend's back over her clothes, running his fingers down her middle and to her lower back, those caresses pleased her too much.

"Or a place where we wouldn't get caught wearing little clothes, or rather, wearing each other's clothes in the wee hours of the morning" Yuta whispered in her ear, reminding her of that incident.

Maki's face turned red because she knew what Yuta meant.

"I confess!, that time it occurred to me to leave your room alone with your blue shirt on to go to the kitchen for a snack! It was in the wee hours of the morning and I thought no one would see me, so I snuck out. But I did NOT count on that idiot Megumi being there!" she pouted as she sat down next to her boyfriend.

"Sometimes I just wish I could walk around without so many clothes on, or go to the kitchen any time I want after sex. Or to be able to make whatever noise I want without bothering anyone. To just have my space, a big one that doesn't remind me of those hellish little rooms in the Zenin residence!"

She was referring to the time Megumi saw her wearing only Yuta's blue T-shirt in the wee hours of the morning.

That incident occurred after a night of passion in his room. Where after watching a movie, one thing led to another and they ended up doing it that night.

And after a little sleep, Maki got up because her stomach began to growl. And being close to three in the morning and incidentally, being summer, the heat was unbearable, as well as her appetite.

Seeing her boyfriend completely asleep, she found it easy to just grab her black panties and Yuta's T-shirt, which completely covered her ass.

She arranged her hair in her typical ponytail and stealthily made her way to the dining room. As she was entering the kitchen to see what she could steal from the refrigerator, she noticed her family member eating dinner in the dim light coming from the hood over the stove.

Megumi regretted that night that he had not gone to his room for dinner as he usually did.

It was an embarrassment for both of them, there was a beating for Megumi and a scolding for Maki. Who learned the lesson not to go out in underwear or at least put on a pair of shorts or pans before leaving her room.

Yuta laughed at that memory. "Yes, although there is also the option of sleeping away from here"

"That's the option I've been thinking about lately" said Maki with a knowing smile, while she kept looking at her boyfriend, stroking his cheek.

"And what have you thought of?"

"I was thinking that now that I am of age and have enough money saved up, why not live outside the academy" she asked with a smile.

"You're talking about living away from here?" Yuta questioned, sitting down next to his girlfriend.

"Yes, I was thinking of looking for a new place. A small apartment would be nice. I want to rent something comfortable and a place I can call home" she said with a smile.

"Well, if that's your decision, you know I will support you and if you like I can help you look for one" commented Yuta kissing his girlfriend's hand.

"I'm glad you brought it up" She stared at him "I was thinking about what if you and I lived together?"

Yuta opened his eyes wide at such a proposal.

"Are you talking about you and me living under the same roof? Living and sleeping together?" he asked surprisingly.

Maki shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know why you're surprised if we've already slept together and by the way we've lived together for three years" she pouted slightly, "But this way we could see if this really works outside of school, well only if you want it to" she commented with a smile.

"I would love to!" Yuta looked very excited about the proposal.

Perhaps that same proposal that Maki made to Yuta was what encouraged him to propose to her a few weeks later. More specifically, after Valentine's Day.

It was a big mistake for Yuta to do that, because Maki said no at the first time and after that "cheesy proposal scene", both gave each other some time, which was no more than a month.

Back to the present.

Yuta leaned his head tenderly on his wife's head.
"I admit that it was that talk of living together that motivated me to ask you to marry me"

Maki pulled away from his shoulder and stared at him.
"I think I can ask this now that we've been married for over a year and have a baby on the way. How did you know you wanted to marry me? How did you decide it was me and not another woman?"

Her look was one of complete curiosity.

Yuta took Maki's hand that was leaning on the bench, as he began to explain, "Let's say it was a series of little things that accumulated over time that made me realize that I wanted to spend the rest of my life by your side"

He smiled slightly and looked at his wife.
"Actually, I found out months after I met the three of you. I confess that at first I considered you, Panda and Toge, my new family. The academy became my new home and you accepted me as I was from the beginning, even if on the first day you tried to kill me"

That comment made Maki burst out laughing.
"Well, it will be a funny anecdote that we can tell our son when he asks us about the day we met, and how I almost killed you with my nigatama"

Yuta smiled at that, looked at his hands and continued confessing.
"And with time, I realized that what I began to feel for you was not only admiration, but love" he returned his gaze to his wife, "That's when I knew I was in love with you"

"And I still don't understand what it was that made you fall in love with me…" commented Maki with a slight pout.

"Let's say that in the beginning it was your determination and perseverance. Then I realized that I started to love everything about you. From your movements when you fought with me in training and on missions, to the little gestures you made when something bothered you. I really felt that you were already an important part of me."

Yuta Sigh –"Then I went to Africa and there I reaffirmed my feelings for you, because I was counting the hours for the night to come so I could talk to you and listen to your voice. I longed to go to that country with you by my side to show you everything there, but then Shibuya happened, and at that moment I just wanted to return to Japan to see you once again. Then came the extinction games and that exhausting December 24th three years ago, where I only had the hope that we could survive or if something happened to me, I just wanted you to survive and finally be happy with a normal life. But now I thank heaven that we are both alive and with a baby on the way."

"Even with this body I got after Shibuya and the wounds I received on December 24th, do you still love me?" she asked, raising and lowering her right hand to refer to the scars on her body and face. –"Because anyone would have stopped loving me with this hideous appearance…"

"No matter what you look like, I will still love you, that's for sure, because for me you are still that girl that not only made me fall in love with her beauty "

Maki pursed her lips and her eyes glazed over a little, she wanted to cry because of those words she was hearing from Yuta. She hated feeling so sensitive because of hormones.

"And after that talk where you decided it was time to look for a place outside the academy, where we could both live together. It was at that moment that something inside me took the courage to ask you to marry me because I really wanted to spend my life with you, especially after everything we lived through during those years when we had to fight for our lives"

It seemed that another memory had come to Yuta's mind, he scratched the back of his neck with his free hand.
"I even remember that I asked Megumi's permission to propose to you and after that, I talked to Nobara so that she could help me prepare the place where I proposed to you."

Maki raised an eyebrow.
"Why did you ask Megumi's permission to marry me? I'm supposed to be the older of the two of us. I'm his senpai and he shouldn't interfere in my decisions!"

Yuta scratched his cheek ruefully.
"He asked me the same question, and even he was too surprised when I told him..."

A little over a year ago.

In a restaurant.

Early February.

"I'm going to propose to Maki..."

The man seated in front of Yuta, spit out almost all the coffee he drank in that moment of revelation.

Instead, Yuta smiled nervously as a few beads of cold sweat trickled down his face.

Those gestures added a touch of grace to the situation, but Yuta did not expect that the whole revelation would provoke such a reaction in his guest.

Okkotsu had called Fushiguro to meet him at a restaurant.

He had told him that there were some things he wanted to talk to him about the next missions they would have, and he also wanted to ask for his permission because he was Maki's relative.

Fushiguro opened his mouth slightly in surprise. He was searching for the right words in the face of that awkward situation, as he wiped the caffeine mess on the tablecloth and on his clothes with a cloth napkin.

"What did you just say what?" Megumi only managed to say as he looked at his superior with surprise.

"I'm sorry for telling you so suddenly" apologized Yuta with regret, "But I've decided, I'm going to ask Maki to marry me…"

"You don't have to apologize senpai, it's just that" he cleared his throat, "this news is very surprising, predictable but surprising nonetheless"

He sipped his glass of water, "But are you sure about this? I'm talking about proposing to Maki..."

Yuta nodded his head, he had a firm look in his eyes, just as firm was his determination to propose to Maki.

"I am completely sure. She is the person I want to spend the rest of my days with, she is the woman I love the most and I really want this to go beyond a simple courtship and that is why I have come to talk to you to ask your permission to marry her"

Megumi noticed that what Yuta said was completely serious and true.

There was a moment of silence between the two. The sorcerer of the ten shadows was finishing processing what his senpai had told him.

After taking another sip of his water, he began to speak.
"You know that you and Maki are free to make your own decisions about your relationship, but why are you asking my permission to propose to her?" he asked with a touch of confusion, "She is my senpai, she doesn't need my approval to marry you or whoever she wants" there was an unmatched seriousness in his tone of voice.

Yuta took a breath and became serious as he put his hands on the table, to show that he was telling the truth.
"I know that Maki doesn't need anyone's approval to choose about her life, but" he looked at Megumi fixedly and continued speaking, "But for me this is important. Fushiguro, you are the only family that Maki san has left and I consider it important to talk to you about this subject, maybe it may sound a bit traditional and cliché, but for me it is important that you, being her only blood relative left, give me your approval and your permission to marry her..."

Megumi did not stop staring at him
"You know she has a very strong character and is a difficult person most of the time... not to mention how stubborn she is..."

That conversation was beginning to feel heavy, as both had taken on an attitude and pose of complete seriousness.

"I know, but even with that strong and stubborn character I love her, besides, I dare say that I know her well enough to say that she also has her warm and sweet side that only with me she has shown in these years..." Yuta look at his guest seriously.

Megumi took another sip. He didn't doubt what Yuta said about Maki behaving very differently with Okkotsu, as he had noticed and checked it long ago.

Especially, because he knew what kind of relationship those two had. And he knew that Maki was happy next to Yuta.

"Even so, Okkotsu senpai, are you sure you want to marry Maki san? What can you offer her? Because you know how proud she is about having her own things?" questioned Megumi seriously, "Besides, if she marries you, we know that her family name would be changed..."

"I am. As I said, I love her and for her I would fight and go against heaven, sea and earth to make her happy so I am completely sure in wanting to marry Maki san" he took a breath and continued answering with seriousness and honesty.
"Besides, as a special grade sorcerer I can give her a life without want. Although if she wants to have her own things I would not deny her, and about the family name, well I think we would have to decide between both of us if she wants to keep her surname or take mine"

Megumi seemed to hold his breath for a moment at the seriousness and firmness Okkotsu was demonstrating.

Fushiguro took another sip from his glass. He was preparing for the next question. Which seemed to be the most important one.

"Okkotsu senpai, and if Maki says no to your proposal, what will you do?" he asked with a hard face as he knew Maki perfectly well.

At that question, Yuta actually became thoughtful. Even his shoulders slumped at the prospect.

"I... I don't know..." He answer with sincerity, lowering his gaze as well, "A part of me says that I would try to convince her that what I feel for her is true"

He returned his gaze to Megumi "Although if she really said No, I know that I would have to resign myself and accept her decision not to marry me. I wouldn't force her to say yes to me and much less to do something she doesn't want..."

The sorcerer of the ten shadows took another breath.
"And if she says yes, will you always respect her?" he looked him straight in the eye, "Will you always be faithful to her?"

"If she says yes, I will try to make her the happiest woman in the world. And I will see to it that she lacks nothing. I will always respect her as I have done since the first day we met" Yuta moved his hands, showing his palms as a sign of telling the truth " And I would never be unfaithful to her, if I were, she would most likely kill me and I would let her. She is the only one who could take my life if she wanted to!"

Megumi released the air, which escaped in a soft smile, a smile hard to see on him. It seemed that Yuta's words calmed his doubts.

"Then..." he spoke calmly, "I wish you luck in your proposal, as well as in your marriage to Maki if she accepts. So you have my blessing"

Those words brightened Yuta's face quite a bit as he continued to listen to Megumi.

"Above all, because I know that Maki will be in good hands. She is happy with you and I can tell she loves you, so I can rest easy with that" he sipped his new coffee, which the waiter had brought him.

"Thank you very much Megumi kun!" Yuta rose from his seat and bowed almost to the floor.

"Although as I said, in the end, the definitive answer can only be given to you by Maki san"

"I know. Although if she agrees to be my wife, from now on that makes the two of us family, that makes me your uncle and you would be my nephew." commented Yuta scratching the back of his neck.

Megumi felt uncomfortable with those words, "I'll just keep calling you senpai and please, I don't want you to call me nephew"

"Agreed" commented Yuta with a smile, "Now I must ask Nobara for help with the marriage proposal"

Megumi just nodded his head. He knew that Nobara was the best choice the organization Maki's proposal.

Back to the present.

Maki and Yuta had moved from that bench and were now looking at another area of the aquarium, which showed some plants growing under the sea.

"After that, I asked Nobara to help me organize the whole surprise, just as I asked her to help me choose the ring for you. In theory, she was the one who helped me organize that evening where I proposed to you" Yuta confessed.

"Ring I lost on a mission, OOPS!" Maki pursed her lips. Remembering how distressed she felt that time when she lost that ring.

Yuta smiled a little and continued talking as he took his wife's hand and kissed her ring finger.
"I promise I'll buy you another one. And I'll give it to you without making such a fuss or doing anything extravagant. I've learned my lesson"

Maki smiled.
"Back to the subject of how you proposed to me. Yes, how could I forget that" she looked straight ahead, "above all, I admit that when we arrived at the place, I knew what you would do..."

"Did you really sense it?" asked Yuta with too much curiosity.

She nodded her head.
"Yes, I had a hunch because of everything you were doing on the sly and I suspected it even more the moment I saw that cheesy decorated place, I admit I wanted to run away" she sighed while caressing her belly, "Especially when we stood under that tree and you started saying all those tender words…"

"I remember that I told you that I was happy with life and with destiny for having found you, I also told you again that I loved you with all my being and that I wanted our relationship to go beyond a simple courtship" answered Yuta.

"I confess that when you said that, My heart lurched, as did my feelings for you, but my pride was filled with doubt" her free hand went to her breast.

Yuta smiled slightly.
" also remember calling you by your last name…"

"YES, AND I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME BY MY FORMER LAST NAME!" Maki commented with annoyance, "And then came the bombshell. Especially when I saw you grab my hand and kneel down in front of me"

Yuta sighed.
"I still remember very well what happened next..."

Flashback

More than a year ago.

At the end of February

As they had already described.
Maki and Yuta were standing under that beautifully lit tree. While in the distance, the others watched and were ready to go out to congratulate the newly engaged couple.

"Zenin Maki" Yuta named her.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME BY MY LAST NAME!" she scolded.

"I'm sorry-"Yuta apologized and started again "Maki san" he named her again.

The Zenin pursed her lips as she watched Yuta take her hand and begin to kneel in front of her.

A shiver ran through her, it seemed that her premonition was coming true. Everything seemed unreal to Maki, it was like a dream from which she wanted to escape.

Okkotsu smiled sweetly as he showed her that ring, "Would you like to marry me?" he asked with his heart in his throat.

Maki's face was too serious and her eyes were fixed on him. She softly pressed her lips together, she seemed to be fighting with herself to keep the words out of her throat and the tears inside her eyes. While Yuta waited for her answer.

"No"

That answer made Yuta's eyes widen like saucers. His smile faded.

"I'm sorry Okkotsu but... I'm not ready for this... besides, I..." Maki let go of him hand and sighed- "I just don't... I can't..." she took a step back as Yuta stood up.

Fear and doubt invaded her. The air began to burn in her lungs. She wanted to run away from there.

"Did I do something wrong, Maki?" he questioned in confusion, his feet unable to move.

Maki shook her head no.
"You haven't done anything wrong... on the contrary... I'm not ready or safe for this..." she started to take several steps backwards.

"It's okay if you need time to think about it or if you want we to talk about it..." Yuta was interrupted by Maki, who stopped to look at him for a while before leaving.

"I'm sorry…" She turned quickly and started to walk away almost running.

"I- I understand…" said Yuta with a broken heart, seeing how she quickly walked away from there.

Maki was confused by everything that was happening. She didn't even look back, and her tears started to spill until she was far enough away from there.

While their friends and classmates watched the scene with confusion.

They were even dressed for the occasion and had the bouquets of flowers ready to give to Maki.

"What's going on?" Itadori asked curiously.

"Yuta is already on his knees!" Nobara said excitedly.

"Salmon!"

"Maki senpai has already said yes?" questioned Itadori when he saw that they were very quiet.

"Should we leave now?" asked Panda.

"Tuna?"

"I say on the count of three let's go out!" Nobara began to count, "One," she was interrupted.

"I don't think we should go out..." commented Megumi seriously, "Something is not right..."

Megumi had begun to notice how Maki took a few steps back and walked away.

"What the hell is going on?!" questioned Nobara, quickly getting out of there as she saw Maki walking away and Yuta just standing there.
She was the first to run over there, proving that even in heels she was skilled at running.

Not only did she run over, but Megumi and the others also rushed over to Yuta."

"Okkotsu senpai, what happened?" Itadori asked quickly, "Are you all right?" he put his hand on his shoulder.

Yuta had his eyes looking down at the ground "She said no..."

Hearing that, made everyone gasp in surprise.

"WHY DID HE TELL YOU NO!? DIDN'T HE LIKE THE DECORATION? I SPENT HOURS DOING THIS!" shouted Nobara.

Yuta only sighed and looked with confusion at his friends. In his eyes was reflected a great sadness.

"I'M GOING TO TALK TO MAKI!" said Nobara in annoyance, "SHE'S GOING TO LISTEN TO ME!

Megumi went after Nobara and Maki. He was the only one who could control those two.

Instead, Itadori, Panda and Toge stayed by Yuta's side.

It all seemed like the end of that relationship.

Back to the present.

Maki sighed as she looked at the large fish tank in front of them, even admiring her reflection under that blue light.
"Yes... I remember perfectly well that time I told you no"

Both had decided to move from place to place again while they were talking about that memory. So now they had gone to another of the larger fish tanks in the aquarium.

They were holding hands as they watched the fish inside that big tank.

Yuta sighed, "And after that, we both lasted almost a month without talking to each other, remember?" he looked at his wife and smiled slightly, as if that memory was funny to him now, "I even remember that you avoided me everywhere, you didn't even tell me that you had already moved out of the academy, and I found out about that thanks to Megumi kun"

Maki shrugged her shoulders.
"Yes, I confess that that time I really didn't know what I wanted. Besides, it was all so sudden that I was really confused with everything that had happened between us" she clicked her tongue- "Tss that Megumi is always a snitch!"

Yuta laughed at his wife's words." But after that and everything we went through, in the end you said yes to me"

"Yes, but in the way you least expected" she said, patting him lightly on the shoulder, "I guess that will be another funny anecdote we can tell our baby for when I ask us how you asked me to marry you, or rather how I asked you to marry me"

"It will be a funny story to tell" said Yuta, patting her hand on his shoulder.

At that moment, they both noticed how there were also some big moray eels inside that huge place, which were moving snaking inside that big fish tank.

"That's an ugly fish" commented Maki, pointing her finger at the animal.

Yuta laughed a little.
"That reminded me of the curse we defeated on that mission where I later gave you the yes, remember?"

Maki made a small sign with her index finger for him to bend down a little so she could kiss him on the lips, this was one of her ways to reach her mouth since his wife's bulging belly was already starting to separate them when they were standing.

"I remember it perfectly"

Flashback

A little over a year ago.

Almost the end of March.

Almost a month after that failed marriage proposal. Maki and Yuta had been called to the same mission outside Tokyo.

Zenin's heart wanted to stop when she saw that Yuta was also involved in that mission where they had to exterminate a gigantic curse in the form of a large snake, which had already devoured several villagers.

Since the two sorcerers had arrived, the tension between them was evident. And more that the Zenin had avoided meeting Okkotsu during the following weeks by refusing his marriage proposal.

But on that occasion, they had to work together, even if they didn't like the idea.

"You seem to have more dark circles under your eyes than the last time we met..." commented Maki, finally breaking the silence between them in that small base, where minutes before they had had a meeting with other sorcerers that accompanied them in that mission. Especially, because Yuta was the leader of this mision.

"Huh?" He let out a sigh and scratched the back of his neck, "Yes, I've had a lot of work lately and well... you know it's hard to rest, especially at the academy"

"Yes, sometimes their beds are not comfortable..." answered Maki without taking her eyes off him.

"Yes, a little..." he answered dryly and lowered his gaze.

"Yuta I..."

"Maki, if you don't feel comfortable in this mission, it is not necessary for you to stay" he commented seriously, "I know you have been avoiding me for a whole month since that night and I am not going to force you to be here with me" his voice sounded firm and had tinges of coldness in it.

"How friendly!" she grunted a little, "But I'm not backing down. Especially not on a mission like this!" she folded her hands across her chest.

"Ok" said Yuta seriously as he looked at her, "Well, we'd better get started at once and get going to finish soon"

"Yes" replied Maki with a small nod of her head.

But before Yuta left the store, Maki stopped him for a moment, holding him by his shirt.

"Okkotsu..." She name him again, but now with a thread of voice in a plea.

"What?" he replied dryly, turning to look at her.

"Do you think that after finishing this mission we could talk?" she asked, feeling the air escaping from her lungs.

Yuta moistened his lips a little.
"Okay" he said with a very faint smile. Which was feigned by the pain of his broken heart.

That mission was carried out as organized.

Yuta and his team, made up of Maki and five other sorcerers, arrived at the nest of that curse, after crossing several kilometers infested with horrible creatures. Even Rika helped to exterminate them.

That team followed the signs of the cursed energy until they found the entrance to the nest. It was inside a cave, where every night the curse came down to attack the neighboring villages because it was a special category curse.

Once they entered the cave, they began to execute the plan, which was very difficult to carry out since they discovered that the curse was actually a local deity.

It was a big curse and they even noticed that it had big paws and claws, with which it ended the life of a sorcerer of that team.

That thing began to attack them, moving abruptly, making the earth tremble.

"MAKI!" Yuta shouted as he saw the tail of that curse hurl the woman against the rocks.

He quickly ran to her, took her in his arms and moved her away from that point as some stones were about to fall on her.

"I'm fine!" she wiped the blood from her mouth.

"We must eliminate her as soon as possible!" said Yuta, watching as Rika helped cover the other sorcerers.

"I have a plan, let's attack at the same time, we must attack both below and above his head!" said Maki standing up, "I noticed that he has a weak point there since it is a soft área!"

"All right!, I'll have Rika distract it and you and I will attack it at the same time, okay!" commented Yuta wiping the blood from his head. Since a small rock had grazed him.

"OK!" Maki commented firmly.

But before going any further. La Zenin once again named her ex-boyfriend.

"Yuta!" Maki stared at him, "There is something important I must tell you..." she gripped her sword tightly as Yuta turned to look at her.

Their gazes met, their chests rose and fell from forced breathing as they were tired, but they had to get rid of that thing.

Yuta could see it in his eyes, there was something very important that Maki wanted to talk to him about.

"I..."

But at that moment, the shouts of their companions caught their attention.

"What you have to tell me can wait!" commented Yuta, turning away from her, "Let's get this over with first!"

Maki nodded her head. "But don't die by then!" she shouted and gripped her sword tightly.

And so, they both threw themselves against the thing.

Yuta and Maki, both driven by Rika, managed to get to the thing's head.

They both held on to the hard scales that had that curse protecting their bodies.

Yuta was the one who pierced that thing's jaw from above, as Rika helped him fall on it. At that moment, Maki with his sword and brute strength, managed to cut off the head of that thing. It twisted for a few more seconds before it stopped moving completely.

Both looked at each other as they caught their breath, even exchanged a knowing smile. While their other surviving companions celebrated being alive.

Once that mission was completed.

The rescue team was already waiting to attend to them a few meters from the cave. So they all went down to the village once again to receive medical attention and to give their report.

It was already dark when Maki came out of the tent where they were collecting information about the mission, and on her shoulders he was wearing Yuta's white sweatshirt, since he had lent it to her once they left the cave.

"Do you feel all right?" he asked, standing up once she was out of there, "Do you need me to heal you?" he was actually waiting for her.

Maki shook her head.
"I'm fine, I only have superficial scratches. It's nothing serious, I've been saved from worse blows" she said with a slight smile, "And you?, how's your head? I guess with your reverse curse technique there is no problema"

Yuta lifted his bangs to show his forehead.
"I'm fine, there won't be a mark as it was a very superficial blow"

"fine…"Maki let the air out in a sigh.

"Yes..."

They both kept a moment of silence again as they looked at each other. Listening only to the people around them and in passing, feeling how the light wind blew against the leaves of the trees, since winter had just ended a few days ago and the warmth of spring would soon begin to take over.

Yuta looked down at the ground, breaking eye contact.

"I'll ask someone to take you wherever you want to go" he suggested.

"Yes thank you, but before that, could we talk for a momento?" asked Maki, waving her hand slightly, indicating that they could go for a walk around the area where they were, since they had set up tents in a central park.

Yuta understood that signal.
"Of course…"

They both began to walk side by side along that road full of street lamps, trying not to stray too far from those tents.

"I heard that you already got a small apartment outside the academy..." commented Yuta with a breath of voice to break the ice.

Maki let out the air in a little noise of annoyance.
"I guess Megumi told you, didn't he?"

"Yes, it was"

Maki made a fist with her hand, which she raised slightly- "I will hit Megumi for opening his mouth" then he looked slightly at the sky- "But Yes, I moved a few weeks after that..." sigh- "that proposal of yours..."

"That's why you've been avoiding me?" Yuta questioned with curiosity and pain.

"Yes, and more that I needed time to think and clear my head..." sigh "I really wasn't ready for that proposal and even less in that way... full of romantic details and stuff... I just felt overwhelmed"

Yuta scratched his head a little.
"I'm sorry about that time..."

Maki let out a little noise from her throat.
"You don't have to apologize for that. You've always been a cheesy boy..."

"I know, but since that day I haven't stopped thinking about us and what I might have done wrong in our relationship" Yuta stopped abruptly.

Maki also stopped and looked at him squarely.

Yuta seemed overwhelmed.
"Something inside me thinks that maybe I should have asked you earlier about what you thought about marriage. I regret not having broached the subject earlier and it has led me to believe that I'm a complete idiot for thinking it would be a good idea to propose to you just like that"

Maki kept looking at him, "I would just say that you were a bit of an idiot to propose it to me without consulting me first"

"I know"

"But this issue involved both of us and maybe this could have been different if only we had talked about it earlier"

Yuta lowered his shoulders when he heard those words
"As I said, I admit that it was easy for me to be guided by all the love I felt and still feel for you, and even more so now that we are both adults... I thought we could join our lives forever and have our own family... but I see that I was wrong... and now we are each making a separate life for ourselves"

They both kept a moment of silence, which was broken by her.

Maki sighed and lowered her shoulders a little. "It' s not that I didn't share that thought, it's just that at that moment I wasn't ready to give you an answer, besides I wanted to stand up for myself a little more" she took a step closer to face him.

Yuta sighed at those words "Maki, I still love you. But I respect your decision…"

She continued speaking –"Thank you for having respected my decision since a month ago, that helped me to think better"- she moved her hands a little, which she crossed over her chest for a moment –"Also I confess that being in my new apartment in complete solitude made me realize several things and one of them is that, that place although it is small and cozy for me, it feels empty without you" -she commented with a blush, as her face started to get tinted.

Those words made Yuta blink rapidly.

"As well as it also made me think carefully, that my name doesn't sound so bad next to the surname Okkotsu" she smiled without taking her eyes off him.

"Maki? You mean?"

"AGH! WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS YUTA, WILL YOU MARRY ME?" she asked with her cheeks all red as she waved her hands while looking at him very seriously.

"I know I don't have a ring to ask you formally! And I'm not a girl who loves cheesy things to prepare something as elaborate as what you planned a month ago! But I still love you And " Maki sigh with her face all red – "I really want to spend the rest of my life by your side..."

They both stared at each other, especially Yuta was very serious.

Maki noticed that almost sepulchral silence of Yuta – "It's okay if you reject me right now. I understand, I broke your heart when I told you almost a month ago that I didn't want to marry you, and you have every right to reject me too and..."

She was interrupted by the sudden nervous chuckle of Yuta, who was also wiping away some tears.

He quickly embraced her.
"Of course I accept!" he said with a big smile, looking at her with tears in his eyes, "Of course I want to marry you, Maki!" he shouted happily.

Maki relaxed her shoulders and sighed with a faint smile on her lips. She took Yuta's face in her hands and kissed him, but their lips searched for each other desperately. Just as their bodies came together once again that night, but now as fiancés.

A few days later, they were united as husband and wife officially before the law. Later, they moved together into their first apartment, which soon after would be requested by the owner and would lead them to search for their next nest, where they currently live.

Back to the present.

05:40 p.m.

Now Maki and Yuta were resting once again, but this time they were sitting on another bench, but now in an area that had many plants outside the aquarium, because their tour in that place was over.

They were both watching the sunset.

The two were laughing at such a memory described about how Maki proposed to Yuta.

She rubbed her belly a little, as that laughter made her baby kick her hard.
"Ouch, that hurt!" she complained to her belly, "You kick harder every day!"

Yuta put his hand on his wife's hand, "Hehe, this baby inherited its kicks from you" he sighed and a big smile appeared on his lips, "That will definitely be a funny anecdote about how her mother asked her father to marry her and a few days later we got married in secret" he went down to place a kiss on her belly.

Maki sighed with a big smile as she rested her hands on the bench and leaned her back slightly backwards.

"Yes. It definitely will be" she said, looking at the people coming and going.

"And now analyzing everything that has happened to us, who would say that a year and a half after getting married, our little family, which we chose to form, will now have one more member, we will no longer be just the two of us, but very soon we will be three" Yuta sighed, that air came out in a sigh that conveyed a great peace.

"Yes, we are now a family of three…"

Maki looked at her husband. It seemed that there was something else she wanted to tell him at that moment, but she decided to simply keep quiet so that he could enjoy this moment of tranquility.

A few minutes later, Maki looked at her cell phone, which had vibrated in her pocket. A message had arrived.

She looked at the time. It was time to go somewhere else before returning to their hotel.

"Yuta" She said, "Do you think we could go eat at that restaurant we went to yesterday? The baby and I are already hungry and I'm craving the Omurice they prepare at that place"

The sorcerer turned to look at his wife.
"Are you sure you want to go back there? Don't you want to go to another restaurant for dinner? I remember there are better places that sell that dish"

Maki crossed her arms and grimaced.
"But I want to eat there. I have a craving for Omurice from that place. Don't you remember that you promised to fulfill all my cravings? Or do you want our baby soybean to come out with some stain on its skin because of that unfulfilled craving?"

Yuta sighed and scratched his head. –"It's okay. Let's go to that restaurant for dinne," he smiled a little.

Maki took his cheeks and caressed them tenderly. "Perfect!"

She said this with a tone that betrayed happiness. It sounded like she was planning something.

06:20 p.m.

As Maki had requested, they had both arrived at that restaurant.

Upon entering, Maki seemed to be looking for someone, but it looked like that someone had not yet arrived, so she asked for a table near the door.

They both decided to order. Maki ordered the Omurice she was craving and Yuta ordered a simpler dish consisting of some curry and tonkatsu.

He was a little sad to be there and even more so because of what had happened the day before. But his wife's smile and her hand gave him peace.

Peace that vanished when a voice timidly asked them to sit down.

"Excuse me... May I sit with you? Am I late?"

"Welcome and come on in, you're just in time to order!" commented Maki with a big smile.

That voice made Yuta alert, he seemed to be on the offensive.

"Thank you Maki san..." commented Yuna shyly sitting down in front of her brother.

Yuta looked quickly at Maki. He was confused by what was going on.

"What is she doing here?" he asked with a tone of annoyance and confusion.

"I invited her" commented Maki with a smile and placing her elbows on the table for a moment, "I told her to come and have dinner with us before we go back to Tokyo and, by the way, I asked her to come and thank her personally for this T-shirt she gave me yesterday!" she pointed to the garment I've been wearing all day.

"That's right... Maki san invited me,,," commented Yuna with some shyness, feeling the heavy look of her brother, "But I also came because..." she was interrupted.

"She already thanked you, so I guess we should go now," said Yuta seriously, but when he was about to stand up, his wife's hand on his shoulder stopped him from getting up from his place.

"Yuna also came because she wants to talk to you. Yuta" Maki stood up while still holding her hand on her husband's shoulder to keep him in his seat.

"But I don't want to see her... even less when she has lied to me..." commented Yuta putting his hand on his wife's hand.

"But she deserves to be heard by you. She's not like your hateful parents, I saw that yesterday" said Maki looking at her sister-in-law and squeezed her husband's shoulder tightly, "she does want to spend time with us, so I called her so you two can settle this before we go back to Tokyo"

"That's true. Maki san was the one who contacted me last night and offered to meet me here" commented Yuna looking at her brother.

"Besides!" Maki took her hand off her husband's shoulder and put it on her hip, "she is the only sane and worthwhile member of your family. So it would be very unfair that because of the bad decisions of your crazy parents, you stop seeing your sister, who you can tell loves me and our son even though we hardly spend time together. Even if she is a bit of a loose mouth, she is still a good girl and I know she will be a good aunt!"

Yuta looked at Maki with that authoritative pose of a wife. He knew she was serious. Her shoulders dropped in a long sigh.

"Well, while they talk and bring us what we ordered, I'll go to the bathroom" she pointed to her belly, "this baby really puts a lot of strain on my bladder. I'll be right back..." she commented, walking with her hands behind her back as she went to the bathroom.

Both siblings were silent. Yuta looked quite serious.

Thus in silence they lasted a few minutes until Yuna decided to break the ice.

"Yuta, I want to apologize for yesterday..." she began to speak shyly.

"Yuna..."

"I just want you to know that if I didn't tell you anything about my move in the beginning, it was because I didn't know how you would react, especially because at that time, mom and dad were still on me and they really didn't want to know anything about you and they didn't want me to tell you, I know it was wrong that I let them influence me in that aspecto" She looked at her brother, her hands were shaking under the table.

"Although I must admit I was relieved once I stopped living with them and they left town..." she wiped her tears with her hand. "And I also didn't tell you anything about my situation because I didn't want to worry you, especially since you have a difficult and stressful job and I didn't want to interrupt because I know that what you do is super important for everyone in society to be safe from those monsters. Both what you and Maki do is important and I really didn't want to worry you about something that I had to solve on my own..."

Yuta sighed when he heard that. His face softened as he watched his sister tell the truth.

"And about yesterday..."- Yuna wiped her tears again, which kept coming out of her eyes. –"I swear, I tried to convince them to come, I told them it might be a good time to get back together as a family, but you heard dad... he..."

"I know. Dad is an idiot who doesn't listen" replied Yuta.

Yuna nodded her head.
"Yes... for that, brother, I ask you a big apology" she started to cry while she lowered her head – "truly, I tried to unite this family again, but in the end I separated it more..." she sobbed – "And if you never want to see me again or I am already dead for you, I will understand and I promise not to come closer to you three if you ask me to…"

Yuta sighed with regret as he watched his sister cry.

He even began to realize that he was wrong to have left his sister alone in that disconsolate state the night before.

What if something bad had happened to her? What if she had been in an accident? Or what if someone had taken advantage of her vulnerability?

Yuta knew that he would blame himself for that. Besides, that he behaved very badly to her by telling her those horrible words where for him, it was better to pretend that those three were dead.

Then he took a quick glance at the other tables and noticed two siblings with their parents, the four of them were having dinner. Above all, he noticed how those brothers were playing with each other, just as he and Yuna were playing and painting as children on the tablecloths that could be colored in that restaurant.

He longed for that childhood, but he knew it would never happen again. But there was still time to save his fraternity with the only one among his blood family members who was worth her salt. His sister.

Yuta sighed and scratched the back of his neck, "Yuna, I too must apologize to you for everything I said to you yesterday"

Those words made Yuna turn to look at him with her eyes full of tears and her face red from crying.

"I know it was wrong of me to leave without listening to you. Besides, if something had happened to you in that state, it would have been my fault for being a lousy big brother" commented Yuta controlling himself not to cry, "I'm sorry for that"

Yuna dried her tears with a napkin.
"The one who should apologize is me for not having told you the truth from the beginning..."

"And I forgive you for that," Yuta was quite serene at that moment.
"I know our parents are very difficult people to deal with, but now that they are no longer in this city or in our lives, I guess we can finally take a break and live a better life without them in our way"

Yuna sobbed some more when she heard that.

"So"- Yuta smiled calmly –" I forgive you for what happened yesterday. Besides" - he stood up and opened his arms for a moment "I know you're going to be a cool aunt"

Yuna wiped her tears, stood up and went to hug her brother.

"I'm going to be an aunt! Seriously, I still can't assimilate this news!" -she commented hugging him- "Thank you brother..."

"As I said, you'll make a cool aunt and a good nanny at the same time"

"And you're a good father, there's no doubt about that!"

That embrace was sweet but fleeting, as Maki had returned with a small dessert in her hands.

Maki sighed calmly at the sight of those siblings embracing like that, a part of her was happy that those two were reconciled. But another part of her sank into pure melancholy.

Seeing that embrace, she only longed to have her twin sister by her side again.

"Mai..." whispered Maki, placing her hand on her belly, which she looked at with tenderness and melancholy, trying not to cry, "I wish you were here... I don't think I can do this without you...".

Maki felt like she needed her more than ever and more than the baby shower and the long awaited revelation of the sex of that baby was about to happen.

Would they have a boy or a girl? At the autumnal equinox they would know.

🍂To be continue...

Notes

Also, An Apologies if there are some errors in the translation.
I'm doing the best I can, if you don't like this translation you could read the fic in its original language, Spanish.

I hope you liked the chapter.

Truth be told, this fall season would be full of memories of these two.

Besides, one of my favorite and personal headcanon, is the one in which Maki would be the one who would ask for marriage but in the simplest way possible.

And just as you have just read, already in the next chapter the baby shower and the long awaited revelation will happen .

Are you excited to know what the event will be like and what will happen in it? Because it is more than obvious that Aunt Nobara will prepare something big.

So tell me, what do you think will happen at that party? How do you think Maki and Yuta will react to such a babyshower and surprise?

But more importantly, what do you think that soybean will be? A girl or a boy?

Vera loves you ❤
