Chapter 1:
Re-Living
Harry Potter was stuck. Stuck in this crazy room, this crazy place. He just wanted to be free. Was that too much to ask? It wasn't until, Harry heard someone approach him.
"Who are you?" Harry asked as he turned and saw a figure
"I am Death." Death responded
"You are Death?" Harry replied, astonished that he had just met Death.
"Yes, Harry. We have a lot to discuss. You weren't meant to die today." Death revealed
"What? How was I not supposed to die? Voldemort killed me in the Graveyard." Harry responded
"He did. But he wasn't supposed to." Death said
Wasn't supposed to?" Harry retorted
"Yes Harry. Voldemort wasn't supposed to kill you. You were supposed to escape. It's too late to change that now. Normally, I wouldn't interfere with this stuff. However, your case is special Harry." Death answered
"How is my case special?" Harry said
"You see Harry. When Voldemort attacked you on the 31st of October 1981. He intended to kill you. Unfortunately for him, he didn't. When his killing curse rebounded and hit him. A part of his soul split from his body, and latched onto the nearest living thing. You." Death replied sadly
"You mean that... I was harbouring a piece of Voldemort's soul in my HEAD?" Harry screamed
"Unfortunately, that is the truth Harry. But that's not why I'm here." Death said
"Why are you here then?" Harry asked
"Simple. I'm here to give you an offer." Death replied
"What kind of offer?" Harry responded
"An offer, that you could not refuse." Death said, this got Harry's attention "I know how much you miss your parents. So, I'm willing to send you, to an alternate timeline." Death told him
"An alternate timeline?" Harry asked curiously
"Yes. One in which, Voldemort never went after your family. You could have a family, you could see your parents, maybe even have a sister or a brother?" Death winked at him
"What will happen to my timeline?" Harry responded
"Simple. Nothing will happen. Except for everyone in the timeline mourning over you." Death replied
"I think... I think I'll take your offer." Harry said "I would like to see my parents." He finished
"Excellent choice my friend." Death started "You will not regret it. See you on the other side" With that, the room disappeared. Leaving Harry lying on a bed.
Only to fall asleep...

Anyway, I just wanted to say that this isn't my first time attempting to write a fanfic. Nor will it be the last.
I'm not sure what pairing(s) to have in this fanfic. I've been leaning towards Harry/Daphne. Neville/Susan. Ron/Hermione. Blaise/Tracey. Maybe even Harry/O.C or Neville/O.C
I may also introduce a few O.Cs in the next few Chapters before Harry goes to Hogwarts. Speaking of Hogwarts, I have big plans for that. So make sure to stay up-to-date.
