"Question, is Gojo related to the Schnees?"

I didn't plan for that initially but sitting on it for a little bit made me like the idea of Gojo related to the Schnees. Might have him be a relative on Jacques' side. The planet sized ego that Gojo has would make sense if he was related to the Schnees so thanks for putting this idea into my head.

In all the four kingdoms it is universally known that Huntsmen and Huntresses protect the people from Grimm, it's a job that inspires heroes and legends to be born. It's a highly sought after job with nearly every kid wanting to forge their own weapon to go fight the Grimm and as one of the highest paying jobs in all four of the kingdoms what parent wouldn't encourage it? But some kids aren't lucky enough to have the choice to become a Huntsmen as a trend since the last century was the introduction of Huntsmen clans. Huntsman Clans were started by the introduction of Zenin Clan and has been at the top ever since, with a complete focus on power above all and birthing the greatest huntsmen in history. Ever since the Zenin clan was formed in Mistral the kingdom has never felt safer and with that power comes influence as along with power comes influence, the Zenin clan are practically the government in Mistral with the Head of the clan Naobito Zenin holding nearly the entire country in the palm of his hand.

Multiple families have merged into the Zenin clan as it's seen that any child born from the Zenin clan has a future of success ahead of them. But to be a Zenin means that you need to be born with talent, aka a powerful semblance or lots of aura, after all the Zenin clan has an image to uphold. But what happens when you have none of that? Then you might as well not even have the name Zenin, if you aren't born talented you are nothing more than dirt to the clan. But what happens when a child is born not only without a semblance but no aura to speak of? Then you are a Maki Zenin.

The Imposter, The Zenin Failure, The Worthless One, The Auraless, all names that describe Maki Zenin. Maki was born with a rare condition having her born with no aura to speak of and with no aura means no semblance, add that on top a family who looks for talent and power above all else and Maki was destined for failure the day she was born, to be a servant since she turned old and died. But even against the world Maki would never stay down and at age 17 left the clan with the vow that when she returns to the clan it will be as the head of the family and left for Beacon Academy who after a year of proving herself has earned the name "The Monster of Beacon."

The Auraless girl was traversing a snow ridden forest as she looked up at the shattered moon. She wore glasses and had her head in a ponytail, dressed in an all black outfit with a cloak covering her body and keeping her warm from the cold night. Over her shoulder was a large case with various weapon handles sticking out. Maki reached an empty part of the woods and stood in the middle of an empty field as she raised her arms and took in the world as she emptied her mind finding peace in the quiet forest.

But the last thing you would ever find in this world was peace and Maki knew that all too well. A horde of Grimm were surrounding the auraless girl and maki looked at the surrounding horde with her expression going from peaceful to one of killing intent. She ripped off her cloak showing her exposed arms that were riddled with healed scars both fading and permanent as she grabbed one of the handles from her bag and pulled out a handle that got longer and longer the more she pulled until she fully got it out displaying a black Naginata the size of her body. Pulling a dust cartridge from her pocket with a fire symbol engraved into it she popped it into her Naginata making the blade of the weapon turn red. She pulled back her Naginata in a stance showing she was ready to swing at the first sign of an attack.

3 Beowolfs leaped towards Maki going for a quick kill but in a swift swing Maki cut all three of the Grimm in half as their bodies flew right past her and hit the ground as they turned to ash. The horde began to close in on Maki but the auraless woman dashed at the monsters too quickly for them to react as she skewered three Beowolfs on her Naginata. With the Grimm still pierced on her weapon she spun her Naginata and clashed with multiple Grimm as not one of them could seem to land a hit on her. Pushing the Grimm back she flexed her muscles in her arms and a large wave of fire shot out including 3 burning Grimm bodies at her attackers damaging or outright burning them to ash.

More Grimm started to pop out from the woods and Maki seeing this put her Naginata back in her carrying case then grabbed 2 different handles being a jet black sword and a wide edged knife with fur near the handle. Maki leapt into a crowd of Grimm spinning with her two blades cutting up any Grimm who was unfortunate enough to get in her way, to call it cutting through butter would be an insult to the durability of butter. Maki tossed her knife high into the air and began to use her sword two handed as one grim was cut in half from an overhead slash, and as the knife came falling down to the earth Maki was able to kick it right into the Grimm's head as she dashed over to get it.

The Grimm's numbers were dwindling fast as Maki then heard the roar of something large, Maki turned around and saw what was commonly known as an Alpha Beowolf. It towered over the auraless woman as Maki knew she had to change things up but the Grimm swung it's giant claws at her which made her use both of her blades to block as she was disarmed from her knife and sword. Maki was sent tumbling back as she quickly got back onto her feet and seeing the Alpha Beowolf coming her direction she now has to use her trump card.

Grabbing another handle from her carrying case she pulled out a three section staff which each section of the staff held together by chains as she held the first and third part of the weapon. As the Grimm went swinging both claws in an overhead motion Maki put up a cross guard and blocked with ease not even a hint of struggle as she was able to push back against the Alpha Grimm making it stagger backwards. Grabbing the 3rd part of the weapon with both of her hands she swung towards the beast's right arm and the Grimm tried to attack with said right hand as upon impact the Grimm's right arm was completely blown off turning to dust that was blown away by the wind. Maki winced in pain from the attack and went to end this fight right now with her running up and in an instant the Grimm was hit by the 3 section staff as it rocketed into the distance as its body was blown into chunks.

Maki seeing that nothing was left went to grab the two blades she lost earlier but she fell to one knee as her body felt weak and she coughed up a little blood as she felt her whole body start to hurt after putting away the staff. She layed on the ground and caught her breath looking up at the shattered moon once more in the night sky. It wasn't long before she heard a voice of a familiar white haired man in a blindfold and she could already feel herself get a headache hearing his voice. "What is this like the tenth time you used Playful Cloud to end a fight? That weapon really is no joke huh?"

"The Blindfolded Idiot… Gojo can you go away, your voice is the last thing I wanna hear today." Maki told Gojo clearly not wanting to hear from him.

"I think there's better ways to let out your anger than pushing your body beyond its limits y'know? Plus you're gonna catch a cold sitting in the snow like this waiting to be able to move." Gojo picked Maki up with one hand as she rested against him.

"It's just bullshit man…" Maki looked away from Gojo.

"Yup, Zenin clan got too much influence for their own good, even The Wizard of Oz can't do much about their decisions but if I learned anything about teaching you Maki? It's that you are unbreakable, even with the greatest odds stacked against you it never kept you down. How about we go get you some burgers from that one super unhealthy place you like so much?"

"Whatever… but you're paying."
