Kuri ran over to Anteiku in the moonlight. "Greetings and blessed be my ghoulish comrades!" She got up on the platform.

Kaneki, still working, looked up and saw Kuri and was confused as to why she was there

"Tonight the full moon has blessed us with her beautiful smile. So we are going to draw her down to shine upon us. Lift your hands!" Kuri instructed, and to Kaneki's surprise, everyone did so, in revered silence. He watched in shock. Why were all the ghouls so well-behaved with a human?

"Together we will draw down the moon." Kuri closed her eyes and grounded herself, then opened and lost focus as she locked eyes with Kaneki, who was staring at her with shock and awe.

Kuri smiled gently at him, happy to see him, then refocused. "The moon protects us and guides us, lighting our way in darkness. The moon is protective of ghouls as we hunt, shrouding us in darkness. We now reach up to the sky and take her in our hands, calling forth just a drop of her magickal light!" There were murmurs as the audience actually pulled light from the moon.

Kaneki was not exactly sure what to do but followed everyone else.

A piece of moonlight came free in Kanekis hand.

Kaneki held it. He couldn't believe he was holding ACTUAL moonlight.

Kuri smiled as the moonlight sank into the audience, including Kaneki's hand. "Let us be blessed be on this full moon evening!" Everyone said it back and she bowed and got off the platform

Kaneki saw his chance and ran over. "Hey wait."

Kuri looked up at him, grinning. "Hi Kaneki!"

Kaneki grinned back. "Hey. How are you? That was amazing."

"No it was just…me…" Kuri blushed.

"It was still amazing. Was that really moonlight?"

"It was." Kuri smiled. "And now a lil bit is in you!"

"Is that part of your powers as a priestess?"

"Not exactly…I inspire others to find the magic in themselves. You," She touched his chest for emphasis. "pulled that moonlight."

"I," Kaneki said in surprise. "pulled it?"

"You are very very smart…" Kuri grinned. "but you aren't very spiritual Kaneki. But that doesn't mean it's not inside you." She smiled. "but look, I have to get home. It's…an emergency!" Kuri ran back to the hut still shocked as to what she had felt. "Sis! Omg I sensed it!"
