"I know," Sona reassured him, making the latter stop talking. "Rinne told me everything."

"Hmm," Rinne spoke as she drew near to Shidou. "And she and I have a couple of agreements while you were gone."

"...Meaning," Shidou hesitantly looks at both of them.

"She agrees with our relationship, including that thing that we tend to do with each other, though we can still keep our relationship a secret from everyone else, especially when I pointed out a few risks that we do not need to deal with at the current time," Sona explained, careful to keep their conversation subtle so as Rio doesn't hear.

"...O-Oh, I see," Shidou said as he placed a sleeping Rio in Rinne's arms. Even if they said that, he thought, there was still a part of him that felt guilty for letting this outcome happen. If it came down to it, Rinne would testify that she had given her consent already to Sona's relationship with her husband and there shouldn't be a problem anymore. This situation is quite new and complicated for Rinne to deal with.
