Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we'll be going over the events of the episode of Ben 10: Omniverse titled it was them. As I said in the last chapter I really hate this episode however I won't skip it since it's important since Ben unlocks or transforms for the first time into Crashhopper.

Anyway after I get through this episode I'll be really happy because right after this episode I'll be working on one of my absolute favorite episodes. Anyway I don't have anything else to add so without further ado lets get this show on the road.

Mira's P.O.V.

After having been on patrol all morning we had decided to stop for lunch at burger shack for ourselves while Rook had brought his own lunch which I wasn't even going to try to pronounce what it was called. After having gotten our orders Ben had said as we were about to sit at one of the tables outside "finally some down time" just as the ground started shaking violently.

Across the parking lot a giant worm looking thing came out from the ground and was staring in our direction I said "you were saying". As the worm thing went back underground one of the passerby's stopped by us for a second and Ben turned to him and said "hey keep an eye on our lunches would ya" but he ran away and I said "just put it on the table or ground and ready up."

He did so as did I and he transformed into Diamondhead while I assumed my main Satan soul form just as the worm popped back up from the ground. Ben then said to the worm "let's make this quick slimy there's a triple cheeseburger with my name on it." The worm then started shooting acid balls at us which we dodged and responded to in kind with small dark eraser blasts and small Taydenite projectiles right in it's face.

That caused it to disappear under the ground again most likely from the pain our attacks had done to it and I said "huh nice trick it has there" and it then came out from the hole and slammed into the ground again creating another hole which we attacked it but unlike with it's face our attacks didn't seem to hurt it's body.

Ben said "would you just hold still" and the worm had appeared behind us while making more holes in the ground. as we were looking down into one of the holes it made it popped out right from under Ben and shot him into the air looked like it was about to eat him. However, he barely managed to catch himself in it's mouth before he fell down its throat.

He then quipped to the worm even though it couldn't understand him "I came here to eat lunch not be lunch" and while charging up a massive demon blast and said "hold it's mouth open for just a minute" and he said "will do" and I had finished charging up the blast and I aimed at the area of the mouth where Ben wasn't and shot the demon blast beam into its mouth with its many rotating sections of its body.

However, the blast wasn't as effective as I thought it would be and Ben said "let me add some power to it" and he formed a Taydenite blade which he slammed into one of the worm's rotating sections on the inside. The worm had spit him out and I landed next to him as he said "I'm not doing that again" while regrowing his hand and part of his arm so the blade must have broken inside the worm thing.

As the worm was thrashing around, I said "looks like he bit off more then he chew with your Taydenite blade and he said "it seems like it. As it looked like the worm was about to pull it's diving move again Ben said "oh no you're not going anywhere" before encasing the hole the worm was in with jagged pieces of Taydenite preventing it from going underground without potentially hurting itself. The worm looked around confused before shooting more of the acid balls at us which Ben shielded us both from.

He then turned back to the worm and said "okay number one gross and number two" before actually looking up and seeing the worm had disappeared. As we grabbed out lunches which were surprisingly undamaged in this case and went back into the truck and Ben said to Rook "so this whole time you've been sitting here eating uh."

Rook said "my seeswin swamp hoppers would you two like some" and I said "you and max with the alien cuisine" and Ben said "you couldn't have given us a little help out there." Rook said "you should have said something" and Ben said "like what" and Rook said "like Rook help us." I said "we didn't need help but it would have made dealing with that worm easier to be fair."

After having a few handfuls of fries Ben said "it seems like we're getting attacked by more monsters lately then Tokyo." Rook said "I thought these things were normal" and I said "these things aren't normal I mean us getting attacked is but not by these things but who would want to sick freaky monsters on us." Rook said "dude who wouldn't want to sick freaky monsters on you two" and after a moment he said "I've been working on my earth conversations."

Ben then said "there is one nut ball who does the freaky creature thing Dr. Animo" and Rook repeated his name and put his lunch aside and pulled Dr. Animo up on his dashboard computer. Ben said "yeah he's been after me since I was little mutant frogs, bats, prairie dogs you name it" and Rook said "I am not familiar with this nut ball of which you speak but there is a Dr. animo is currently in a holding cell at plumber headquarters."

As we got back into plumber's HQ we went into the elevator that went to the prison level and Rook said "you know tanrack the tyrant managed to stage a military coup without ever leaving his prison cell." Ben said "See that right there is what Animo must be doing" and Rook said "he had plasma cannons and an army of several million."

I said "well to be fair Animo could be using millions upon millions of animals depending on what his sick mind may be thinking." After Ben had explained how Animo had always vowed to his revenge on Ben when he was younger Rook said "did he really say those things." Ben said "totally, maybe, close enough I don't always listen to the villains."

Rook then said "he seems like a harmless excentric" and Rook opened the cell and what was inside was a bit disturbing which it was stuffed animals with other stuffed animals heads sewn onto the bodies. Ben said "what did I tell you Rook the crazy is right here in front of us" while picking up one of the stuffed animals.

Rook then stated "conversely the prisoner is not" and Ben said "See I told you he was the one attacking me." I said "from what I can tell it doesn't seem like the force field has been tampered with" and Ben said "then there has to be an air vent or access panel or something there always in these places why is that anyway do they want prisoners to be able to escape."

Rook said "the air vents are all sealed with monomolecular grids" and Ben knelt down by the toilet and said "what are all these ants doing here." Rook said "ants are pretty common on earth there are well over twelve thousand species" and Ben kneeled toward the ants closer and said "but what are these ants doing here" and he moved the toilet to reveal that there was a secret tunnel."

Ben looked back at us and said "still think Animo isn't the guy attacking me" and while I stayed silent since I still wasn't sure and as we started crawling into the tunnel Rook said "he is a viable candidate." As we got to the end of the tunnel Ben pushed off one of the grates at the end of pipes and we landed in the sewer and Ben stated the obvious "and we're in the sewer of course we are."

I said "well what did you expect from going through a tunnel that was behind a toilet" and Rook said "these sanitation ducts go under the whole city the escaped prisoner could be anywhere." Ben then pointed towards the ants and said "not just anywhere" and we followed the line of ants that were still moving and we ended up face to face with a giant ant.

We all backed up from the ant just as it shot a fireball from its mouth which went over Rook but we managed to roll away from the blast radius. Ben said "fire breathing giant ant classic Dr. Animo" and Rook said "he seems like a very strange man." Ben then said "time to fight fire with Swampfire" and he activated the Omnitrix and transformed into Echo Echo."

He said his name and said "why am I not surprised" and I turned into my main Satan soul form and picked up Ben and dropped him on the back of the giant ant. He said "hey bug eyes over here" and he jumped off while firing a short sonic wave attack at the ant. Going back to our previous conversation in the truck Ben said to Rook "you didn't even have to ask for my help."

As we were leading the giant ant away from rook the ant started shooting fireballs at Ben but as the fireballs seemed to be hitting, he just multiplied until there were three of him. The middle one who was the original said "hey watch it" and Rook stopped behind the ant and started shooting blasts from his proto-tool however, they were just bouncing off the ant without leaving a single mark on it.

We had come to a crossroads of sorts and Ben had split into 5 total and all ran in different directions which seemed to confuse the ant for a moment before it went after what I think was the original. The original Ben then split into three more as there were 5 more tunnels but the ant kept following the original Ben.

As it got into a wide open space Ben had multiplied enough that there was an Echo Echo in each of the passages. I quickly took out the earplugs I had on my person at all times and put them in as he was getting ready to release a sonic scream. The sonic scream had done it's job as after a few seconds the ant had exploded and Ben had recalled his duplicates before turning back as I took the earplugs out and dropped my takeover.

Rook had caught up and said "Genius the sound must have atomized the pyrophoric chemicals in it's body" and Ben said "yeah because Echo Echo is the sound of victory" however it slowed down as we heard more giant ants surround us and he added on "yeah I should have seen that coming." As we were back to back with Rook Ben asked him "I don't suppose you have a freeze ray on that thing" and Rook replied "no" and Ben tried again "fire extinguisher" and Rook said "that would be a useful feature." As Ben was about to transform and I was about to use my takeover form again the ants had just left us alone and left the tunnel we were in.

As they were walking away Ben said "Was it something I said because I'll say it again" and I stated "they gave up way too easily" and Ben said "yeah come on" and we went down the tunnel the ants had went down. As we got to the end of the tunnel which was up off the ground floor Rook said "ants carrying machinery that is odd no matter they're size."

I then said "yeah but they're big enough to carry us as well" and the three of us jumped down onto one of the pieces of machinery. As we were hitching a ride Ben asked rook "I'm not sure I want to know this but why do you know so much about ants." Rook replied "when I learned I was coming to earth I read a fascinating guide book by merzel of Galvin prime. (I know he doesn't say Galvin prime but I couldn't quite make out which planet prime he said so I'm just going with it)

He explained that ants are the dominate lifeform on your planet" and Ben asked the same question I was thinking "why would he think that." Rook said "well ants to outnumber humans 200,000 to 1 and are found on every continent except ironically Antarctica" and the ants started exiting the tunnel back into sunlight and we jumped off and landed behind some rocks.

Rook then asked "so where is this evil mastermind Dr. animo" and Ben said "oh I don't know how about over there in that skyscraper sized anthill." As we got closer, we hid behind some more rocks right by the entrance and Ben said "I don't see a doorbell guess we'll just have to invite ourselves in" as he was getting ready to pick an alien for the job.

Rook said "just one moment Ben" and he grabbed what looked like green mud and splattered it all over Ben's face and he said "hey what's with the mud pack." Rook explained "not mud pheromones" as he splashed himself as well and said "ants naturally attack any intruder but with these secretions on us members of the colony."

As I was getting myself covered a bit with the pheromones Ben said to Rook "this better work because if you just smeared me with ant goo for nothing we're going to have a problem man." As we were walking along with the ants one of them turned around and Ben hid behind Rook for a moment as the ant was smelling us before it turned around and kept walking.

Ben asked Rook "proud of yourself" and Rook said back "I did not say a word" and we walked further in and saw larvae ants eating rocks and any slight hunger I had been feeling was suddenly gone just seeing how they looked. As we got to the end of a tunnel we were going through we came upon a massive machine and of course on top of it was animo who said "yes my pets build, construct, grow."

As we got on the level of the machine he was on Ben said "Dr. Animo" and Dr. Animo said "Ben Tennyson" and Ben said "what's the deal with sending creepy mutant aliens to attack me." Rook then wiped his fur on the back of Ben's shirt as Dr. Animo said "mutant aliens I don't know what you're talking about" and Ben said "don't play dumb."

Dr. Animo as if he were in theatre said "I'm not playing honestly, I wasn't planning on killing you until phase 2 but here you are. First however you will witness my greatest triumph did you know there are roughly a quadrillion ants on earth with species native to every continent but Antarctica" and Ben said "actually yes I did."

Animo said "the device before you generates a mutagenic pulse that will turn every ant into a giant mutant with me Dr. Animo as their king the whole world will be my ant farm." Rook said "this is not your guy" and I said "you got that right" Ben said "look Dr. Animo I'll be the first to admit an army of giant ants actually sounds pretty cool but come on you know we can't let you get away with it.

my girlfriend, partner and I" but he cut himself off as Rook was looking over at what an ant was carrying and he said "that is a coremite power core" and as Ben was trying to get him to focus on Animo Rook said "just keep chatting I got this" before walking off. Ben then said "okay just my girlfriend and I are going to smash this picnic" and Animo said "do you're worst Ben Tennyson nothing can stop me."

Ben then started running over to him as he slammed a fist on a button which caused the machine to go even further up. Ben said "come on one more time Swampfire" and as he transformed the watch had turned him into Rath. He said "let me tell you something new Omnitrix that keeps turning me into the wrong thing you keep turning me into the wrong thing."

I assumed my main takeover form and said "focus on animo not the Omnitrix" and he said "right" and ran at Animo. It would have worked however, animo put his hands to his head as if he were sending a telepathic message which he may very well have been as he said out loud "come my ant army destroy Ben Tennyson."

As he was about to tackle animo an ant tackled Ben away from animo and were slowly surrounding him as animo said "you may be strong but in sufficient numbers ants can take down any prey." Since he focus was mostly on Ben I powered up a dark eraser and blasted it right at him however, an ant got in front of him and took the blast which had made it disintegrate into dust.

I said to Ben "can you buy me some time" and he said "you got it" and I flew up into the air and started putting all the power I could spare into a massive magical energy ball. After a few minutes it was done and I said "ben brace yourself" and he did so and I called out "Expanding darkness shower" which instead of shooting the ball of energy forward as the normal evil shower did this shot it all over the place which had caused most of the ants that hadn't ducked for covered to disintegrate.

However, as I was feeling proud of myself I saw even more ants dropping from the ceiling and said "you got to be kidding me" and I slowly hovered to the ground and dropped my takeover form since I was now out of power. The ants had fallen down directly on us and Animo said "in mere moment you two will be nothing but bones" and Ben had said "oh yeah Dr. Animo mutator of mutant mutants rath is going to" but even I couldn't make out what he said as the ants were muffing him.

As we were struggling with the ants Rook had shot some powerful blasts which knocked a few of the ants off and then wrapped a grapple rope around one of each of our wrists and pulled out of what remained of the dogpile of ants. As we flung us away from the ants he said "Ben Mira I have recovered the coremite power core" and I said "thanks for pulling us out of there."

Ben said "let me tell you something new alien partner I never wanted in the first place but I'm begrudgingly starting to like in spite of myself Rath is gonna" just as he started timing out." As one of the ants had knocked Rook away and started charging at us again they dogpiled on us again as Ben had just slammed down the core of the Omnitrix. As he finished transforming he jumped out of the dogpile after grabbing me and landed in front of animo and looked at himself and said "wow new alien I wonder what I can do."

I saw that he looked like a humanoid grasshopper and Dr. Animo said "it doesn't matter what you do for now you face the fury of the ant king." Ben said "you might want to work on that name" and I said "yeah normally ants have queens not kings." He then shot flames at Ben and left me alone since he must have saw I was out of power but Ben had just jumped over the flames and got his head stuck in the wall higher up.

As he pulled his head out he said "as for my name I'll go with crashhopper" and he jumped from the wall to a part of the machine to knocking animo down to slamming into again after landing a few feet from him. However animo got him to retreat for a few moments as he shot more of the fire looking energy from his hands at Ben.

As Animo was running somewhere on the machine Ben had slammed into his back which sent him sprawling to the ground as Ben hand landed on a higher part of the machine and said "you had enough Animo because I'm having a blast." Rook called out "Ben if you have a moment" and jumped over to me and grabbed me before jumping onto the part of the machine Rook had called out from and put me down on my feet and got in front of Rook and the ants.

Rook then said "I can set the power core to overload which will destroy the anthill, the ants, us, and several populated areas." Ben said "bad plan" and Rook then asked "what if I just adjust the power core frequency to just atomize the ants" and Ben had said "better plan." Animo had gotten on an elevator and as the door opened he was tapping his foot impatiently and he said "curse you Ben Tennyson curse you and your meddling ways."

Ben looked back at Rook and said "see I told you he talks like that" and at that moment a dog had appeared and landed on the area of the machine we were on and Ben saw it and said "mutant dogs too one theme at a time Animo." Animo then said "but it's not one of mine" and then it transformed into a hulking grey beast with purple pockets all over it's body as Animo said "oh but it soon will be."

The now dog thing had charged at Animo as he was trying to control it's mind however he wasn't able to and it slammed into him a wall. Ben had tried attacking it by hitting it however the grey part of it's body seemed to be made to tough leather like skin as he tried again only for the same results. Ben then tried hopping at it again only this time he got stuck in one of the purple pockets on it's chin and as he was struggling his arms got stuck as well.

He said "Rook help me" and he said "gladly partner" and pulled his proto-tool off his shoulder and grabbed ben with a grappling rope and pulled him out of the pocket and he said "thanks." He then jumped over the 'dog' as it was charging at him and landed closer to animo and said "this thing is definatly an invader the ants ought to attack it" and I said "and I'm sure they will if we give them they're free will back."

I ran over to animo and pulled the helmet off his head and tossed it to Ben who broke it over Crashhopper's knee. The ants then dogpiled on the 'dog' and Ben said "now Rook" and after a moment the ants had all exploded which caused a dust cloud to kick up. From inside the dust cloud I heard a sound that sounded kind of like the Omnitrix timing out as the dust cloud cleared the 'dog' was back in the form it had come in here in.

After shaking its head for a minute it then ran off and Ben looked over at Animo who was running away but he was stopped as Rook landed right in front of him. Rook had said "Aloysius James Animo" and Ben walked up behind him as he was timing out and said "oooh he middle named you, you are so busted." As we were getting back to plumber's base with animo in the back of the truck or ship whatever in handcuffs Rook looked over at Ben and said "this is not your usual jubilant post-butt kicking attitude dude."

Ben who just had his head out the window with his chin resting on his hand said "animo wasn't the guy" and Rook said "true." Ben then said "and that whatever it is that keeps jumping me did you see how it turned into the exact perfect predator to fight my new alien it's like a Ben eating monster." Rook then said "I will admit I through you were being paranoid before but now someone is definatly out to get you someone very dangerous."

As Ben remained silent Rook said "but at least we stopped the nefarious Dr. Animo he wont be causing trouble for a long, long time."

Yet another chapter done in the next chapter we'll be going over one of my personal favorite episodes titled so long and thanks for all the smoothies. I know I pretty much had Mira kind of sidelined during the first fight with the first ant and then use up all her power destroying a good number of the ants but really I didn't really know what else to do with her in this episode since I never really gave it much thought since honestly I hate this episode with a passion.
