Everyone gaped at Oliver's statement. So, Oliver continued, "Between 1924 and 1949 around four thousand remains were put to rest in the cemetery. By 1958, there were no longer visitors and the property owners decided they wanted to sell the land. During the next year, the families of those who were put to rest there were contacted to collect the remains. Only three thousand of the remains were collected however. In 1960, the land was sold and bulldozed. The cremations I suspect were lost in the soil. As far as I can tell, no supernatural phenomenon took place while the school was being built and it was completed in 1963. There has been no reported paranormal activity until a few months ago, which begs the question: Why would it start now?" He finished.
The room was silent as everyone contemplated what Oliver just said. John was the first to speak, "Perhaps, something angered or disturbed the spirits recently making them come out of their rest."
"Obviously, but what exactly?" Oliver emphasized.
Suddenly Mai clapped her hand together in realization. "The pool!" She chirped. "Over summer break workers were going to build a pool on campus but stopped when they had technical difficulties. I had heard rumors that strange things started to happen and that's why they stopped."
"That would make sense." Lin said turning to Oliver. "And it matches the time line of when the activity started perfectly."
Oliver gave a partial nod. "Mai, do you know where the construction site was?"
"Yeah, it is still fenced off on the other side of school." Mai replied.
"Alright, since it has already been a long day, you all may go. Tomorrow however, I want us to meet at the construction site at eight o'clock sharp." Oliver informed everyone receiving nods in return.
Eight o'clock the next morning SPR, save Oliver and Lin, walked up to the fenced off area.
