Chapter 3: Getting used to it

Percy thought about it for a moment before saying "Okay."

Aphrodite blinked in surprise, "Really? But you refused each time?"

"I refused because it didn't change anything," explained Percy, "Even if I became a god, nothing would change, the loop would still come and I would have to do the past ten years over again."

"I see, so even becoming a god didn't stop the time loop."

"Yeah but that was me becoming a minor god of the tides or a god of heroes," said Percy before smiling, "But I've never become a god of time before."

"I'm sure if you become the God of Time, then the timeline will be in good hands."

"Yeah but how exactly do I go about doing that?" asked Percy, "I'm sure becoming a god of time is a lot harder than becoming some other minor god."

"It will be, but you can handle it," said Aphrodite before reaching in her robe and pulling out a small shard, "You're going to need to collect these, time shards."

Percy reached out and took the shard, the moment it was in his hand it began to glow. "This shard is from Kronos' Scythe."

"Yes and it is reacting to you, because you still have some time energy inside you from all the loops you've been through," said Aphrodite, "And also…."

She trailed off.

Percy thought for a moment as an image appeared in his head, "Because I destroyed the scythe during my fight with Nero…Nero tried to gather the Titan weapons and some Titans to fight us so he could become a god."

"Yes that is what happened this time around but you stopped Nero and killed him, fulfilling the new prophecy and still becoming the greatest demigod that ever lived. The best part is that it fits well for us."

"Because I destroyed the scythe, I'm connected to it, so I can find more pieces and eventually become the god of Time." as he made up the story on the spot.

"That works perfectly." Aphrodite agreeing to the tale. "Might need to add a little bit more flair to it but we can handle that when the time comes."

"Any idea when that will be?" asked Percy.

"Soon, now that I got you on board, I'll start looking and when I do, I'll send you to get them. Of course we'll have to lie and say some bullshit about it coming from a vision or another god to keep up appearances."

"Right, because if we all say it was from you, then they'll get suspicious and Zeus might try and kill you." Finished Percy.

"Most likely, I can imagine that their reaction to finding out I can manipulate time and sky, even if slightly, would be enough for a few of them to bring out the pitchforks and torches." Said Aphordite, "Until then, I suggest you return to your lovers and enjoy your birthday. Relax, get some of your memories of this timeline back and fuck around a little."
Percy nodded, "That sounds like a solid plan." As he stood up, "Anything else I should be warned about before I suddenly remember it a little too late."

Aphrodite thought about it for a moment, "Nothing really pops into mind, you should be able to remember if anything should come up. I would suggest however, to familiarize yourself with your personal life, such as your company. Find someone there you can trust and help you out, I suggest my daughter Silena."

"Silena? Isn't she your receptionist at the moment."

"Yes but a personal secretary is quite a step up." said Aphordite. "Also you can never have too many secretaries."

"Secretaries?" Percy then had an image of a woman flash through his mind. "I have a secretary at the company, don't I." Percy was then silent for a moment. "Should I be worried about STDs or anything like that."

Aphrodite smiled and snapped her fingers, "Not with my blessing you will."

"Thanks."

"Good luck."

Percy exited the elevator, "Hey Percy," greeted Selina, "How was meeting with my mom?"

"It was very enlightening," said Percy.

"Enlightening?" repeated Selina, "That's a new one."

"Well it was unique," said Percy before pulling out a business card. "Anyway you mentioned you were looking for another place for work and I might have something in mind, if you don't mind working for me."

Selina took the card, "I will definitely be looking into this." she then pointed to the door, "By the way I think you have someone waiting for you."

Percy looked to see Rachel waiting outside. "I see, that's my ride, I'll talk to you later Selina.

"Later Percy," said Selina as looked at the card, "You can count on it."

Percy walked out of the building to come face to face with Rachel who was wearing a tight red tank top that made it clear she wasn't wearing a bra. It was currently struggling to hold large breasts and short shorts that hugged her perfectly shaped ass.

Rachel smiled, "You and Annabeth had all the fun this morning. You left me out of everything."

"Not everything, let's find some place quiet and I'll show you." said Percy.

"Come here," said Rachel as she took his hand and pulled him towards a limo, Percy quickly realized it was one of hers. They entered Limo, "Driver, take us home please." She then hit the privacy button. "Now where were we?"

"Not waiting until we get home?"

"Nope." As Rachel jumped onto Percy starting a heavy makeout session. As they made out Rachel began to pull his clothes off.

"Count on it," said Percy as he looked forward to fucking his girlfriend. As they cleaned up Percy saw he had a message on his phone, "It looks like Jackson Shipping is calling their new CEO in."

Rachel groaned, "Those old farts."

"Looks like I might be back late tonight."

Rachel pulled Percy in, "You better not keep me and Annabeth waiting."

"I wouldn't dare." As they kissed and left Percy wondering what his company could want.
