The Ocean Depth

Chapter 11th

SEAVIEW

Admiral Harriman Nelson having to be concerned was standing behind the sonar man Ron with the submarine for a long time as with many of the personnel. He had asked him whether or not he was able to keep track of the mini sub-team while heading down to the caverns.

For a moment Ron taking off his earphones had the general location of Chief Sharkey, Kowalski and now adding the doctor. "They are both inside the caverns Admiral. Chief Sharkey has sent a bouncing signal so that I can track them," he advised with his lips dry as hell.

"Can you find out just where Captain Lee Crane is located?" Nelson asked with grave concern in his tone of voice.

"Yes, sir! loud and clear. However, the bad news is the fact that something is surely not right with his body chemistry, sir." he said scared.

"It's possible that the lizard aliens might have changed his DNA pattern. Even though Doctor Anderson slightly had noticed a change during the past few months.

It was at this time that Commander Chip Morton walked slowly over to the Admiral after talking to the CMO over the mike asking for the Admiral.

"Sir, Doctor Anderson wishes to speak with you in sickbay," he responded with the comment.

Turned to face the commander. "is it urgent, Chip?" he cried out with his emotions getting in the way.

"Aye, it is, sir." Commander Morton needed to say with concern.

"Very well I will talk with the Chief Medical Officer. Ron will give you an update on what is going on with the trace of Crane and the others," he says before taking the spiral staircase to the sickbay.

Moments later Admiral Harriman arrived in sickbay asking the corpsman where Doctor Anderson was located. He will head for the doctor's office to knock gently. on the door while hearing a response from the CMO.

He walked in to see a very glum look on Doctor Anderson's expression. "What's going on Doctor Anderson?" Nelson will move closer to the doctor with the front screen of his computer.

"I bad news Admiral, it seems that Captain Lee Crane's DNA has completely changed as suspected." he motioned showing the Admiral and the information on the computer screen.

Taking the moment to ingest the entire information. "This looks bad Doctor Anderson. Does this mean that Lee's DNA pattern has changed further?" he sounded annoyed toward the CMO of the SEAVIEW.

"Yes, it does Admiral Nelson. And I have no idea whether his pattern can be changed back to normal," he advised.

Slamming his right hand against his leg out of anguish, Doctor Anderson gets up from his brown, swivel chair to check the Admiral's hand for any damage.

"Harriman, what did that prove with hurting your hand further?" he cried out taking hold of his right hand making sure there was no further damage. After a moment of examining the hand. There was nothing broken nor the fact there will be any type of swelling. "How does it feel now Admiral Nelson?" he asked with a calm type of tone.

Flexing it a little to ensure his hand wasn't damaged or any further pain. "Much better, thank you!" he remarked needing to find out further what the Doctor was going to be doing with the change in Lee Crane. Changed his question now for when it comes to his long-time Captain and friend Lee Crane. "Now what Doctor?" he says with a tone that had been lowered.

"There is a good possible chance that the lizard aliens might have a serum that will be able to change back the captain. Maybe we will be able to make a possible bargain to save the Captain." Doctor Anderson needed to have said with his directness of the subject.
