They stood opposite of each other just in front of their shack. Each one had their Duel Disk ready.
"I think I'll go ahead and take the first move!" said Crow, drawing from his deck.
"Wow...so much for chivalry." Akarii chuckled, "Whatever happened to ladies first?"
"Sorry Rosie~" Crow smirked, "But bad girls don't get rewards!" he scoffed, "And for my first move I'll activate the Spell card Black Whirlwind!" he stated, "Whenever a Blackwing monster is summoned to my side of the field- I can add one Blackwing monster from my dek to my hand that has less attack." he explained, "And I'll start off...by summoning Blackwing- Shura The Blue Flame!"

"And now thanks to my spell...I can also add Blackwing-Bora The Spear to my hand!" he grinned, " And you know as well as I do that Birds of a feather like to flock together right?" he chuckled, "If I control a Blackwing on my field, that means I can Special summon Bora to join his buddy!"

"With that...I think I'll go ahead and end my turn."
Damn...Crow's not pulling any punches...
She thought to herself as she drew from her deck.
First turn and he's already got a couple of bruisers...I guess that's just how it is with Swarm deks like his though...
"Hmm...she hummed softly as she pondered her move...
"First...I'll summon The Kick Man in Attack Mode!" she stated.
The Kick Man
ATK: 1300
DEF: 300
"Now U know he's weaker than your birds at the moment...which is why I'm going to activate this spell card- Riryoku!" she stated, "With this spell...I can take half of your monster's attack points...and add them to Kick Man's!"
Using Shura's attack, his attack dropped to 900 while Kick Man's rose to 2200. And using her new found boost...she decided to send him packing.
"Augh!" Crow cried as his life points dropped by 1300.
Crow: 4000- 2700
Akarii: 4000
"Next...I'll throw down a couple of face downs and end my turn."
"Well atleast I can say you have fire!" Crow scoffed as he drew from his deck, "Now it's time for you to get burned!" he grinned, "So long as I still control a Blackwing monster on my field like Bora- that means I can normal summon Blackwing- Elphin The Raven- without using a tribute!" he grinned.

Oof...that guy's no light hitter either...
Akarii gulped.
That wasn't all that monster could do either. With it, Crow could also change the position of one of Akarii's monsters once per turn...And Kickman's defensive power wasn't anything to brag about...not even her face downs could save her from this wrath-
Because Bora The Spear did Piercing damage whenever he attacked a monster in defense mode-
Crow: 2700
Akarii: 4000- 2600
and then of course there was Crow's Raven...
Crow: 2700
Akarii: 2600- 400
Damn...Crow REALLY isn't holding back is he...
Akarii's heart pounded in her chest as she scanned her hand after she drew.
If I don't find away to turn this around in this turn...it's over!
She gulped.
Well...this is it...
She thought to herself as she looked through what she had available to her.
With enough luck...it oughta be just what she needs!
Here goes...something!
"I'll play a monster card in defense mode!" she declared, "With that...I'll end my turn.
This was it...all or nothing!
"Well...you tried babe." Crow chuckled as he drew his card, "But I'm afraid you just couldn't cut it..." he grinned, "Go! Bora! Attack her face down and end this duel!"
"Sorry but not today!" said Akarii, "I activate a spell card... Shrink!"
"Shrink!?" Crow gasped.
"That's right...with this spell I can cut your Bora's attack in half!" she stated, "Sorry Crow...but no piering damage from your spear today!" she declared, "Infact...prepare yourself for backfire!"
And she was right...
Because with Bora's 1700 cut down to 850-
That meant the 1400 points of defense would bounce back 550 points of damage to Crow's life points.
Crow: 2700- 2150
Akarii: 400
"No matter." said Crow, "Because Raven's attack will just finish it off!"
"Yeah but not without a cost." Akarii grinned, "You know what happens when my Pyramid Turtle is Destroyed she grins, "Thanks to its special ability...I can now summon Red Eyes Zombie Dragon to my field!"
Red Eyes Zombie Dragon
ATK: 2400
DEF: 1200
"Yeah yeah...I'm aware of your ace monster." Crow chuckled, "You may be safe this turn but on my next turn...You can bet I'll have it beate," he grinned, "So enjoy the small win...because I'll be taking the victory!"
"We'll see about that." said Akarii as she took her draw, "Because I'll be adding Regenerating Mummy to my field in Attack mode!"
she stated.
Regenerating Mummy
ATK: 1800
DEF: 1500
"What!?"
" And that's not all either!" said Akarii, "I activate the field spell...Zombie World!" she declared.
"Oh no!"
"Oh YES!" said Akarii, "And you know what Zombie world does...it turns every monster on the field and graveyard into a Zombie..." she grinned.
Not to mention fuels her monster's special ability.
" First, I think I will send Regenerating Mummy after Bora!" she declared. The Difference between them a mere 100 points...but enough to get him out of the way.
Crow: 2150- 2050
Akarii: 400
"Now Go! Red Eyes Zombie...attack his Raven!" she declared.
Her dragon overpowered Crow's Raven, only by 200 points...so it wasn't a big cost...it was her Dragon's ability that got him undone.
"And now...thanks to my Dragon's ability and the effect of Zombie World...I'm afraid Elphin the Raven now belongs to me...Sorry~"
"Aw man..." Crow Groaned as he watched his previously destroyed Blackwing, reappear on the now winning side...
"Brace yourself Crow Hogan..." said Akarii, "Because this game is Over~"
Elphin The Raven's 2200 attack was more than enough to finish Crow off. Even though He still had
"NOOOOOOO! DAMMIT!" Crow huffed as he dropped to his knees.
Crow: 2050- 0
"Ugh...I was so close..." he sighed.
Akarii: 400
"Yeah...you really were..." said Akarii as she ran a hand through her hair, "Honestly Crow I really thought I was a Dead Girl Walking there for a sec..." Akarii chuckled.
But by sheer luck...she won...this time.
"Well..." Crow sighed, "I guess your down time didn't weaken your game...that's good." he chuckled softly.
"But of course!" she grinned back,"Did you think I was gonna stay in bed when we have finally reached our last gang to take down!? No way! I trained my ass off!"
Since their last encounter with a rival duel gang...
Things looked a little grim.
Everything was touch and go in regards to her...accident.
So Crow's concern for her was in very strong standing.
She was stuck in bed for a while...so enemy duel gangs thought it would be the ideal time to take advantage of The Enforcer's weakened state.
Big mistake on their part...especially those who dared take on either Jack or Kalin.
"Well I see you're both here~" a familiar voice chimed in from the door way,"And you were dueling. Excellent looks like you're both in good shape."
"Kalin!" Akarii beamed and ran to greet him. Arms thrown around him, to show her body motion functioning like normal once again.
The leader grinned and swung her around once before plopping her back down on her boots. He was kind of like a big brother to her...
Since Kai was gone.
"Akarii... I'm so glad to see you up and active out of bed again!" Kalin grinned, "So how are you feeling?" he asked.
"Good enough to pull a lucky win out of her ass apparently." Crow huffed chuckling softly.
Akarii rolled her eyes.
"I'm feeling better than ever Kalin!" she grinned and showed him her determination through a clenched fist.
"Good...I'd hate for you to have to miss our biggest battle."
"Does that mean you found the next target?" asked Crow.
"You bet I did." said Kalin,"And we strike tomorrow."
"Tomorrow huh?" Crow grinned,"Excellent feeling up to a training session, Rosie?"
She blushed a bit.
"Wait...you mean that wasn't the training session? Just now?"
"That match? Are you kidding?" he laughed, "That was just the warm up!"
"...Awe man..."
Two perfectly rounded spots of red on her cheeks...It was easy to see where the nickname came from. And it finally seemed like Crow was has accepted to back off a little and give her free reign...
Which meant he was probably going to be kicking her bet in High gear from here on in.
"Good to hear it." said Kalin,"This is the biggest match...if we win here, we will have conquered all of Satellite. Train well...and get some rest."
