Akarii stood cornered by two men with her back against the wall.
But she didn't hesitate...her Duel Disk was ready...and so was she.
"DUEL!"
Outlaws: 4000
Akarii: 4000
"Ladies first!" said Akarii as she drew her card, "I think it's the least you can do if you're gonna tag team." she stated, "And I'll start by activating a Spell Card known as Vengeful Bog Spirit!" she declared, "With this spell...No monsters on the field can attck on the same turn they're summoned!" she stated.
That oughta make it a little more than annoying for a tag team...
She thought to herself.
Of course the same rules applied to her too-
But it was a small price to pay.
"Next I'll summon Pyramid Turtle...in Attack mode!"
Pyramid Turtle

DEF: 1400
"That will do for now!"
"Well I'm gonna activate Mystical Space Typhoon!" declared the enemy, with his partner smirking.
Well...so much for my edge in this duel...
Akarii huffed.
"Next I'll summon Maha Vailo!" he declared.
Maha Vailo
ATK: 1550
DEF: 1400
But he didn't attack...instead he ended his turn after placing a face down.
Hmmm...perhaps these guys are more cautious than I give them credit for...
Akarii thought to herself.
No matter...they don't call me reckless for nothing!
She smirked.
If they won't take the bait...then I'll just force it down their throat!
"I summon Paladin Of The Cursed Dragon in attack mode!" Akarii stated.
Paladin Of The Cursed Dragon
ATK: 1900
DEF: 1200
"Next I'll activate an Equip Spell- Black Pendant!" she stated, "This Equip Spell grants 500 extra attack points to a monster it's equipped to...and also comes with a bonus if it's destroyed and sent to the grave." she grinned, "And I'll be equipping it to my Pyramid Turtle!"
Pyramid Turtle's attack then rose from 1200 to 1700- and she sent it after Maha Vailo.
Only htey countered with a quickplay that rose his attack to be more than her turtle- not that it mattered...as Destroying Pyramid Turtle only did her favors in the end!

Akarii: 4000- 3750
"Thanks to the effect of Pyramid Turtle- I can now summon a Zombie monster from my deck to my field so long as its Defense is equal to 2000 points or less-" she stated, "And the Momster I choose Ryu Kokki!"

ATK: 2400
DEF: 2000
"And that's not all either!" she stated, "Pyramid Turtle was equipped with Black Pendant...and now that it's destroyed...it's gonna ost you 500 lifepoints!"
"Grrrh..."
Outlaws: 4000- 3500
Akarii: 3750
"Now with my new monster still in Battle phase...I
"I'll continue my assault!" she stated, "Ryu Kokki- attack their Maha Vailo!" she declared.
Outlaws: 3500-3050
Akarii: 3750
Following up...was her Cursed Paladin, taking away another 1900.
Outlaws: 3050-1150
Akarii: 3750
"I;ll end my turn for now." she stated.
"My turn now!" said the other member as he drew, "And I activate Banner Of Courage!" he declared. A spell card that granted theur monsters an extra 200 attack during their battle phase...
Which allowed for his Ninja Grand Master Sasuke to beat Akarii's Cursed Paladin by a hair.

Akarii: 3750- 3650
But now they had nothing left...
It was Akarii's turn now- and this game was won.
"I activate Soul Taker!" she declared, "While this card grants you 1000 life points, it also lets me destroy a face up monster on your field...so it's time for Sasuke to go away!"
she declared.
But even the extra 1000 life points couldn't stand against Akarii's beast-
2400 cleared out 2150...
Lights out.
"The two of us together...lost?"
Only goes to show that it's not just strength in numbers that make for a strong Duelist...but strength in skill too.
Jack cleared away his enemies too...and the 4 of them scrambled away while the team members moved to reunite.
"Heh...well whattaya know~" Akarii teetered in victory,"Seems I barely even killed any time there~" she chuckled as she watched them all scramble away like rats.
"Hmph...good to know your last brush with death didn't affect your game any~" Jack scoffed.
"You can't kill the undead that easily." Akarii grinned.
Zombie puns.
Jack rolled his eyes chuckling as he met her half way, each of them stepping over their victim's duel disks that smoked in bitter defeat.
"If anything it's given me alot of steam to let off!"
"Good...use that." said Jack, standing in silence for a moment, taking in his victory.
"No matter how many of these guys come after me, I will take them down all at once...they don't have a chance." he scoffed, crossing his arms.
Though...something else seemed to be bothering him...
"Oi...Akarii...?"
"Huh?" she blinked,"Yeah, Jack? What is it?"
"Say uh...Akarii...when...when this is all over..." he stopped a moment, seeming to try and gather his thoughts.
She tilted her head in confusion and he just shook his head.
"No...never mind." he sighed," Now's not the time." he paused, holding his gaze on hers and smirked, "Good job, Girlie."
Through his intense staring she could feel somthing burning through her.
Something he wanted to ask.
"So listen...it will probably be faster if we just take them all down at once...they have big numbers but...they don't seem to be that strong."
"Yeah I think you're right." she said awkwardly, "That's probably why them seem to hunt in packs."
"Roight then." Jack blinked, "Good luck."
With that he quickly turned on his heel and began his pursuit for his next victim.
"...Okay...that was weird." Akarii blinked awkwardly and sighed with a shrug,"Jack is as Jack does I guess..." she stated, and pushed forward as well...
