Chapter 91
As they depart Solanet Town, Ash and his companions find themselves on Route 12, the final numerical route leading to Pixetty City. With excitement in his voice, Ash exclaims, "Once we pass through Route 12, we'll step into a city straight out of fairy tales: Pixetty City! The entire city, from its buildings to its gardens, is a homage to various fairy tales, filled with enchanting sights and magical experiences."
Alice adds, her eyes gleaming with determination, "And you'll be amazed by how beautiful it looks now. Despite the battles we faced with Team Rainbow, only seven of them remain, united in their mission to steal the Legend Plate." She continues, "While the Pixie Plate might be housed in the museum, and the Draco Plate secured within the Dragon Safari, right before us stands the towering giant beanstalk. Venture into it, and you'll ascend to the stairway leading to the Hall of Origin, a place where legendary Pokémon like Dialga, Palkia, and Arceus reside." (Note: In the game, you'll need to get all 18 plates to open the area)
Ash continues, excitement bubbling in his voice, "And here we have two gyms. One is near the Dragon Safari, owned by the formidable Dragon Valkyrie Lucine. The other gym is located within the Pixetty Museum, owned by the renowned detective and my sister, Minami Satoshi."
As they approach the final challenge, the group splits into two. Ash leads one group to face Minami's gym, while Alice takes charge of the other group to confront Lucine.
(Note: Within the Museum, there are additional encounters awaiting trainers. Interacting with a glass wall grants an opportunity to capture a Mr. Mime. Moreover, a Ralts Egg is hidden atop one of the statues, and an Audino can be found after healing in each Pokémon Center. Near the garden, a Galarian Ponyta awaits discovery. In the Dragon Safari, trainers encounter Pseudo Legendary Pokémon.
To encounter Legendary Pokémon, players must utilize all 9 HMs to reach Latias and Latios; Rayquaza resides in the Jade Tower, situated near the gym and the Safari; obtaining both the Red Orb and Blue Orb is necessary to unlock Rayquaza's location. The Tapus are found in a specialized room within the Candy House, requiring Pokémon capable of using Terrain moves to access the Legendary of choice. Additionally, a Beast Ball Spot for Ultra Ruins exists in the Dragon Safari, and five Paradox Machines in the museum house Iron Valiant, Scream Tail, Roaring Moon, Koraidon, and Miraidon. There's also a Regi Temple akin to the one in Three-Point Pass; using different moves leads to encountering either Regibaby or Regidrago.)
"So the Regis here are Regibaby and Regidrago? I'm familiar with Regidrago, but what's this Regibaby about?" Cynthia inquires.
"Regibaby is the youngest among the Regis, known for its mischievous nature and tendency to cry. Its ability, Baby Face, reduces all opponent Pokémon's stats, and its signature move, Infant's Hug, not only acts as a protective move but also induces infatuation," explains Ash.
Alice proudly introduces the Dragon Type Eeveelution, Drekeon. "Behold Drekeon! Its scales are as tough as diamonds, imbued with mystical energies capable of weaving miracles. Evolve it by trading while it holds the Dragon Scale, just like Kingdra. Drekeon possesses the abilities Mold Breaker and Swift Swim, with Multiscale as its Hidden Ability," she explains.
Lance admires the revelation, commenting, "That's quite a remarkable addition to your team."
(Flashback)
The battle's conclusion leaves Phoenix defeated, his Mega Tyranitar falling to Ash's Pikachu. "It's over, Phoenix. You've lost," Ash declares, a mixture of relief and sadness in his voice.
Phoenix, defeated and despondent, kneels to the ground, murmuring, "I'm truly worthless, aren't I? Everything I've done... it's all for nothing. And my precious daughter, the one bright spot in my life, was taken from me as well..."
Agate's harsh voice cuts through the somber moment, "You mean the traitorous Sapphire who couldn't accomplish anything?" Phoenix's eyes flare with anger as he defends his daughter, "Don't you dare speak ill of my daughter!"
Agate, unfazed, continues with a sneer, "I'm merely stating facts. You're nothing but a coward, claiming you wanted to use the Legend Plate to exact revenge on the PLA, yet you lacked the courage to follow through."
Confused, Ash interjects, "What do you mean?"
Agate's tone turns sinister as he produces a vial, causing Alice to gasp in horror, "That's the virus that killed Sapphire!" The revelation sends shockwaves through the group, the gravity of the situation dawning upon them.
Agate's chilling declaration sends shockwaves through the group. "And now, it will claim the worthless leader as well. With Phoenix out of the way, I'll ascend as the new leader, and Team Rainbow will finally exact our revenge," he proclaims, his voice dripping with malice.
Phoenix's rage boils over as the truth sinks in, "So it was you all along... You're the one responsible for my daughter's death!"
Agate, unfazed by Phoenix's anger, continues with a cold smirk, "Indeed, it wasn't Red who took your daughter's life. It was me. You should know by now that Red is none other than Ash Ketchum, infamous for killing his own mother. I've done my homework on you. It's almost pitiable, being victims in our own ways, yet here we are, enemies."
Before Agate can carry out any further plans, meteors streak down from the sky, striking him with brutal force. His screams of pain echo through the air, confusion and fear gripping him.
"What... what's happening?" Agate's shock is evident as he writhes in agony, while Ash's eyes blaze with an otherworldly light. "You've caused enough chaos in this world! Scum like you don't deserve to exist! It's time for your reckoning!" Ash's voice resonates with authority and judgment.
Agate's screams intensify as he is consumed by the meteors' onslaught, vanishing into nothingness. The vial of deadly virus clatters to the ground, and Alice, wearing protective gloves, swiftly retrieves it, preventing further catastrophe.
The revelation leaves Phoenix stunned, his eyes wide with disbelief. Ash's voice, now carrying the weight of Arceus, resonates through the air. "Yes, I am Arceus, using Ash's body as a vessel to communicate with you," he confirms.
"The legendary Pokémon... speaking through Ash?" Phoenix's astonishment is evident.
Arceus continues, "From Ash's memories, I've come to understand your intentions. However, the individual over there," he gestures towards the remnants of Agate, "has led your team astray, making Team Rainbow no different from the organizations Ash has thwarted."
"I see now... I was deceived by Agate," Phoenix admits with a frown. "But his presence in the team, and the events that followed, are ultimately my responsibility. He manipulated me, and I lost my daughter because of it. Her last words were a plea for me to seek you out and fulfill our goals."
Acknowledging the complexity of the situation, Arceus adds, "The corruption within the Pokémon League Association is indeed a serious issue. While I cannot directly intervene, Ash possesses the potential to bring about change and restore order. Place your trust in him."
Phoenix nods solemnly, understanding the gravity of the situation. With a final nod, Arceus departs from Ash's body. The aftermath of the confrontation leaves everyone reeling, with Alice expressing concern for Ash's well-being. "Are you alright, Ash?" she asks, her eyes filled with worry.
"I feel strange, but I think I'll be okay," Ash replies, his voice reflecting a mix of confusion and acceptance. "Phoenix, I've heard Arceus's message, and I'm ready to assist in rectifying the turmoil caused by the Pokémon League Association. However, you'll still have to face the consequences for your team's actions."
"I understand. I believe I deserve to face justice," Phoenix acknowledges somberly as Looker and Adam lead him away.
In the aftermath, the truth about Quartz's demise at Agate's hands comes to light, adding another layer of tragedy to the situation. The remaining members of Team Rainbow—Topaz, Emerald, Gray, and Actinolite—are also apprehended by the International Police, held accountable for their crimes.
As they survey the city's damaged state, Minami expresses her frustration, "Thanks to Team Rainbow, my city is in ruins..."
Mark offers a glimmer of hope, "We can rebuild the city. It won't be easy, but it's definitely possible."
Golly, with a determined nod, adds, "Indeed, we're the ones who shaped this region. We can restore it to its former glory." Together, they embark on weeks of dedicated effort, rebuilding and revitalizing the city, turning tragedy into an opportunity for renewal.
In the museum, Minami's Gym is tucked among numerous picturesque displays, creating an ambiance of artistry and challenge. Trip takes on Minami in a battle that ends in his defeat, a consequence of underestimating her skill and strategy.
Meanwhile, in the Dragon Safari, the final showdown unfolds at the Dragon Gym. Leon steps up to face Lucine, and through his determination and prowess, emerges victorious.
"I'm sorry, Champion Red. I gave it my all," Lucine apologizes, bowing respectfully.
"It's alright. You've shown great dedication and skill, Dragon Valkyrie Lucine," Ash reassures her, acknowledging her efforts with respect and admiration.
As the traitors approach, Ash maintains a composed demeanor and inquires, "Is there something I can assist you with?"
Misty's voice carries a note of accusation as she demands answers, "What have you done to the Kalos Queen Serena? She's been inconsolable for a week now, and we can't help but wonder if you're behind it."
Alice, with a hint of disbelief, adds, "How could we have harmed her? If anything, Serena instigated the conflict, and it was Champion Red who had to intervene and address the situation."
Trip's frustration is palpable as he joins in, "Serena is not one to cause trouble. Since arriving in this region, we've faced numerous challenges, many of which seem to stem from our interactions with you."
As the tension rises, Ash maintains a composed front before addressing their accusations. "Do you have any concrete evidence to support your claims? It's unfair to pin all the trouble on us when there's no proof of wrongdoing."
May's frustration is palpable as she retorts, "How dare you brush this aside! We know Manaphy isn't yours. Our leaders have confirmed it was originally mine, and you've manipulated the situation."
Alice steps in, her tone tinged with weariness, "This fixation on entitlement needs to stop. Just because someone holds a title doesn't mean they control everything. Reality doesn't bend to personal desires."
Brock, ever the provocateur, adds with a smirk, "Are you truly certain about that? Maybe it's time for a reality check." His words hang in the air, challenging the assumptions and accusations flying back and forth.
"Just what is wrong with you guys?" The Champions arrive on the scene, their expressions a mix of concern and disbelief as they witness the confrontation between the traitors and Ash and Alice. Cynthia steps forward, her voice carrying authority, "Champion Red, Princess Aurora, we've been informed about the situation with Kalos Queen Serena. What is the meaning of this?"
Leon, his tone filled with righteous anger, adds, "Indeed. Serena has been inconsolable, refusing to leave her room. How could you do such a thing to someone as kind as her?"
Ash's voice cuts through the tension, his tone icy with suppressed anger, "Enough. You're on my turf now. How dare you accuse us of something so baseless? Yes, I made Serena cry, but only because she had hurt Aurora. Aurora has faced bullying in the past, and you know how sensitive that topic is for her. You didn't want anyone pressing your own traumatic buttons, did you?"
The weight of Ash's words hangs heavy in the air, causing a palpable silence to envelop the group. "Have you ever considered that your Champion status should be used for the greater good, not personal gain?" Ash's voice carries a mix of frustration and determination. "I haven't revealed the true reason Team Rainbow sought the Legend Plate. They believe the Pokémon League Association is tainted by greed, protecting criminals and framing the innocent. Perhaps they're onto something. Why should our region suffer for the sins of a few?"
The Champions are unable to respond, their expressions a mix of contemplation and guilt. However, Adam, Lance, Steven, Diantha, Geeta, and Lillie fix piercing gazes on their peers, silently acknowledging the weight of Ash's words.
As the gym leaders, Elite Four members, and Ash's friends gather, a sense of anticipation and tension fills the air. Ash and Alice exchange determined glances, knowing that the time for retribution has come.
The scene grows even more intense as the International Police arrive, surrounding Ash as Alice departs to seek her sisters and allies. The stage is set for a confrontation that will shake the very foundations of the Pokémon world.
The atmosphere turns tense as Ash demands an explanation, "What's the meaning of this?"
"Champion Red," Looker steps forward, his tone grave, "Today marks the commencement of Ash Ketchum's trial, and we require your presence."
Shock ripples through the gathered crowd at the mention of Ash Ketchum, a name associated with a heinous crime - the murder of his own mother. Ash, resigned yet composed, responds, "Very well, I'll accompany you."
Confusion swirls among the onlookers as they try to comprehend why Champion Red, a symbol of justice and heroism, is being taken by the police. However, before the proceedings can proceed, Ash halts and declares, "But first, I have something to reveal."
With all eyes on him, Ash takes a deep breath and confesses, "The truth is... I am Ash Ketchum."
A stunned silence descends upon the gathering as the gravity of Ash's revelation sinks in, leaving everyone frozen in disbelief at this unexpected twist.
Here is a new chapter, I have some things to discuss:
There is the Victory Road in the region, but the Victory Road only leads to Latias and Latios and you need all the HMs to use. The Pokemon League is on top of Mt. Iceat. Next is that I didn't tell you about the Starter Pokemon, that's because the Starter Pokemon is going to be as individual missions and there are 27 missions. I am still thinking of where and how would I put it.
And finally, the Elite Four and the Champion battle will be held in Otem Town's Ash's Castle, they have their own chambers there. As for the Elite Four members' past, I've already included in the previous gym chapters. I hope you like this chapter.
The truth is finally revealed. What is going to happen to him? And the Region's explanation is about to come to an end. I hope you like this chapter.
