Ness woke up. Unfortunately, she immediately recognized where she was. Vanessa trembled. Ness knew she was in for one hell of a day or week or however long. Alex walked in. She was already burnt out. Who knew how long she'd been asleep?. Hell, who knew what Alex had done to her whilst she slept.
Hours Later..
Ness looked at the bruises and cuts all over her body. She was never gonna recover from this. She put Luis's jacket on as a sort of comfort and zipped it up. She could hear Alex talking to someone. Vanessa walked out. And glanced at the company. Police.. Gregory, Cassie, Luis, and William.. She smiled. That smile quickly faded as she listened to the lies Alex said. "I told you i don't even know this person you're searching for!." He snapped at them. Luis looked down at the kids, then William and sighed. Vanessa took note of the knife Alex had. He had been using it to cook. Vanessa didn't hesitate. Despite her shaky (and bleeding) legs. She ran forward and quickly pulled the kids away from Alex. Luis and William's gaze snapped to Alex's instantly. "Shitt-.." The police barged in. Whilist William, and the other 3 comforted Vanessa. She smiled tiredly at the others. "How'd ya find me?.." Vanessa asked. "The kids woke me up, saying someone had taken you. And Luis has apparently been watching it all outside. So we went to the police," William explained. Vanessa smiled. She kept her arms around the kids as they talked. Luis rubbed her back gently. While William assured Ness everything was ok and that the ambulance would be here soon. Ness finally blacked out as the ambulance sirens drew closer.
