Episode 24: Are We There Yeti?
"Last week, on Total Drama Island," the voice of Chef Hatchet surprisingly began. "In a special episode, we saw how the kicked off campers were doing at the Resort of Rejects. Playa Des Losers!"
"Danger Boy and Writer Girl are still hooked to each other, the two screeching girls still share a brain, and the bulletproof hair girl has a grudge against the dirt boy for booting her out. Ms. Gymnastic and Mr. Guitarist are still figuring out their feelings for each other, and the gorgeous boy continues to admire himself."
The recap ended, cutting to Chef Hatchet standing alone in his kitchen. "Yeah, it's me doing the recap. You got a problem with that?!" he angrily brandished a cleaver. "Since Chris is off hostin' some frou-frou award show, I'm fillin' in as host. But guess what? I ain't happy about it either! So sit back," he took Mr. Coconut out from behind his back, "shut up, and watch tonight's episode of! Total!" he brought the cleaver down on the coconut, "Drama!" he brought it down again, "Island!" he brought it down a third time, and the coconut finally broke.
(Roll the Credits)
The episode opened with a shot of the sun cresting over the forested hills of Wawanakwa, before the scene cut to Eva on her bed. She was lying on her side with her hands sandwiched between her head and her pillow, and a small puddle of drool had formed in front of her mouth. A bird came to drink from it, then the focus shifted to Scott, also sleeping in a bed, a fly buzzing around his exposed ear. He unconsciously tried to swat it, but it was soon eaten by a frog which had jumped onto his shoulder.
The focus changed again, this time showing Priya resting peacefully. A squirrel poked an inquisitive head up from behind her, then leaped to the front. It waggled its tail in curiosity as it looked around off-camera, which caused Priya to sneeze and scare the squirrel away. One last focus shift showed Geoff sleeping soundly, until a butterfly flitted into view and landed on his nose. He reflexively tried to brush it off but failed.
It was snapped up by a long tongue as a frog jumped down from above, landing on his face and startling him awake before jumping off. "Wha-what?" he said, quickly bolting up. "Where are we?" The camera pulled back to show the four campers asleep in their bunk beds, boys on the left and girls on the right.
"How did we get here?" Priya added in alarm.
"What's going on?!" Scott panicked.
"MCLEAN!!!" Eva roared at the sky in anger.
The sound of a helicopter drowned out their cries and pulled their attention upward. "EVERYBODY JUST SHUT UP!" Chef yelled, swooping down on a rope ladder. "HOW YOU GOT HERE IS NOT YOUR CONCERN!" He touched down on the ground then gave the off-screen pilot a thumbs up, signaling the helicopter to leave.
"Where's Chris?" Priya asked in confusion.
"None of your gosh-darn business where Chris is," Chef told her harshly. "I'm in charge now, and I'm gonna make you wish you were never born." He grinned as he approached the four teens. "Your mission is to find your way out of the forest, or die tryin'!" he explained, looming menacingly over a perplexed Geoff.
"Are you serious?!" Scott exclaimed. "We will not live!"
Confessional: Eva
"Leaving us alone in the woods again?!" Eva growled in the confessional. "I'd like to meet the people who produce these challenges!"
Confessional Ends
"Here's how it works," Chef barked with a duffel bag in each hand. "Team One, Wild Queen and Soda Override," he tossed the first bag to Priya and Geoff. "Team Two," he tossed the other bag to Eva and Scott, "Muscle Brain and Pig Boy. Everything you need is in these bags. You'll navigate your way north to base camp. The first team to tag the camp totem pole wins. And here's a tip," he added matter-of-factly. "Better set up camp before sundown, because once nightfall hits, you won't even see your tremblin' hand in front of your terrified face."
"Unless," Chef added, "you got night-vision goggles," he held up a pair with a grin, "but you don't," he finished with a high-pitched cackle. Geoff and Priya shared a nervous look, then Priya rushed forward.
"Please," she said as she got to her knees and grabbed the larger man's apron, "don't leave us out here again! We won't survive!"
"Grab a hold of your gut, soldier!" Chef barked, pushing Priya away.
Confessional: Scott
"Why did Priya suddenly act like a chicken?" Scott asked with a suspicious look. "She's up to something obviously."
Confessional Ends
"This is insanity!" Geoff exclaimed in panic. "We're gonna get scarfed down by grizzly bears!"
"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that," Chef said in an oddly reassuring tone. "You wish you'd saw a grizzly once you meet up with ol' Sasquatchanakwa!" he told the group with a dark smile. "He's one mean mama-jama!" The sound of a propeller and a kicked-up dust cloud announced the return of the helicopter. Priya gasped as Chef grabbed onto the hanging rope ladder with one last cry of "Good luck, troops! Try not to die!"
The campers watched in shock as he was carried off, gasping when a pair of metal hooks dropped down and latched onto their bunk beds. The four were left alone with the bags they'd been given.
"Get back here, big house! You can't do this!" Scott shouted angrily while his partner rummaged through their bag and pulled out a compass.
"Save the complaining for later," Priya told him. She grabbed Geoff and they ran into the woods.
"Where do they think they're going?" Scott snapped. "They can't survive out there!"
"Why don't you close your jaw already?!" Eva shot at him.
Confessional: Scott
"I'd love to ditch her in the middle of nowhere," Scott told the outhouse camera, "but I need to keep her in case a bear is around and hungry since she has more meat on her bones."
Confessional: Priya
"I was happy to be paired with Geoff," Priya confessed. "He's the person I currently like the most on the island, and this challenge will give us more of a chance to bond."
Confessionals End
The footage cut to Geoff and Priya sprinting through an unremarkable patch of woods. "Do you have any idea where you're going?" Geoff called out. "I'm pretty sure we've never been to this part of the island."
The competitive girl skidded to a halt, prompting her partner to do the same. "Not really," she explained. "I just wanted to get a head start and psych them up a bit."
"They probably will follow us," Geoff said with a glance behind him.
"Let's see what we have to work with..." Priya spilled the contents of their bag onto the ground: a sleeping bag, a can of bug spray, a pair of binoculars, and a map. "Not bad. The only things missing are a compass and food."
"We can satisfy our taste buds from whatever this island's got to offer," Geoff assured.
"Okay..." Priya murmured unenthusiastically.
"So why did you run up to Chef like that earlier?" Geoff asked. "Were you scared?"
"Nah. I just wanted to snag these," Priya told him with a sneaky smile as she revealed a pair of night-vision goggles.
"Wait, you stole those from Chef?" Geoff asked in mild alarm. "Isn't he gonna be pretty ticked off?"
"He will, but we have to do risky things if we want to win," Priya told the party guy. "These goggles will make things easy for us."
"I guess," Geoff admitted. "I'll take the compass. You keep the map," he told his partner, picking up the pair of binoculars and holding out the map.
Priya accepted, and while her teammate began to move forward, she began to look over the map. Her eyes – and the camera – focused on the compass rose, with north pointing down to coincide with the campground's marked location. Holding onto that image, the scene transitioned to an actual compass in the same position.
The shot of the compass rotated and pulled out to show it in the hand of Eva. "Camp is north," she said, "so we just follow the river."
"As long as we don't run into Sasquatchamacallit, we'll be trouble free," Scott said.
Eva rolled her eyes. "That's just a dumb myth made to scare us."
Confessional: Scott
"I'm not afraid of any sasquatches," Scott scoffed. "If Eva could handle one, then so can I if I worked out more!"
Confessional Ends
Scott and Eva were shown jogging from afar and from the viewpoint of something watching from a bush. The unseen watcher gave off deep and animalistic breaths as it ducked away, and the footage faded ahead.
"Come on, Scott. Move your legs!" Eva called in annoyance, jogging a few yards ahead of her partner.
"Would you relax for once?" Scott shot back, the buzz of insects just audible in the background. "I'm trying not to be an all-you-can-eat buffet for these mosquitoes!" He paused for a moment to swat the air a few times.
Confessional: Eva
"I might be this close to missing Chris if he didn't make Chef the psycho watch over us," Eva told the outhouse camera.
Confessional: Scott
"I hope you're enjoying your day off, McLean!" Scott angrily shouted. "Your tank of a sidekick didn't actually do anything the whole time you were gone except ditching us in the woods!"
Confessionals End
The scene moved to a shot of the sun high in a clear sky before panning down to the docks, where Chef laid on his back. He was wearing only a pair of purple swim trunks, and was reading a book in french. "Pardon, monsieur, où est la bibliothèque?" he said to himself with a chuckle.
Geoff and Priya were shown climbing up a mountain cliff.
"Did you get what Chef said about the Sasquatchanakwa?" Geoff conversed with Priya.
"I did, but that's not what we should be focusing on right now," Priya told her partner as she grabbed onto a ledge.
"Got it," Geoff got on board and continued his climb.
Confessional: Geoff
"I remember when I was handcuffed to Eva a while ago," Geoff told the viewers. "She made a good point about me needing to show more attention to the task at hand, and I want to respect that advice."
Confessional Ends
Priya and Geoff were now on top of the cliff. "It was a struggle, but we made it to the top," Geoff said.
Priya took out their binoculars and started to scan the forest. Eventually, she spotted Eva and Scott in the lenses, walking not too far away in the direction they had come away from.
"Check it out. Those two are going the wrong way. Hey guys!" Priya raised her voice and got their attention. "Your direction is extremely off! Try checking a map!"
"We would if we had one!" Eva shouted back. "This compass tells us that's north! The place where Chef said the camp is?"
"Rats!" Priya acted miffed at the news.
"Enjoy the view up there, chumps!" Scott teased the two as he and Eva continued their walk.
Priya put the binoculars away. "Now we're behind them."
"We just have to jump and dive into the river," Geoff suggested. "Easy peasy."
Confessional: Geoff
"I still remember Brick's cliff dive from the first challenge like it was yesterday," Geoff commented before the scene rippled to Brick charging past Chris and jumping off the cliff until he splashed into the water.
The flashback ended and Geoff was the focus again. "I regret doubting him that time, and I don't want to look like a hypocrite by refusing to dive with Priya."
Confessional Ends
"That cliff jump we did when we were teammates was so cool," Priya smiled.
"Then let's not waste any time and recreate it now!" Geoff said before diving off the cliff headfirst. Priya followed him with a front flip, and two splashes were heard in order to indicate that they had landed in the water.
(Commercial Break)
The scene cut to the end of the Dock of Shame, the camera looking in at camp and flying in towards the cabins. The scene cut inside, showing Chef bent over and rummaging around – he picked up a book titled 'World's Biggest Wipeouts', then smiled. A flash, and he was shown reaching under a top bunk, and pulling out a dumbbell. Another flash, and he picked up a knife from another bunk.
Eva was shown dumping the bag onto the ground as Scott rested on a rock by the river. Eva opened the duffel bag and took out an energy bar for Scott and one for herself.
"Look, you hate my guts and I hate yours as well. And I know we both want to sacrifice each other to a bear if it means saving our skins," Scott said.
"You've read my mind," Eva noted.
"Despite all that dribble, we both know that we have to win this challenge," Scott enforced. "We can't let Geoff and Priya win invincibility. They're much closer than the two of us will ever be."
The shot quickly cut away to Priya and Geoff sitting on a raft floating downstream. Geoff burped, causing Priya to wince. "Do you have to do that now?!" she exclaimed.
"Sorry 'bout that, bra," Geoff apologized to his partner. "I drank some coconuts yesterday, and I guess this is an effect of doing so."
"So we're a team, right?" Scott told Eva.
"Right," Eva rolled her eyes.
The duo then spotted Geoff and Priya floating by on the river. They waved silently as they passed through the shot, and Eva and Scott looked at each other in a renewed panic. They exclaimed in unison, "They're getting away!"
Confessional: Scott
"Using the river was irritatingly smart of them!" Scott told the confessional camera. "Why didn't I think of that?!"
Confessional Ends
A campy tune comprised mostly of whistling, a tuba, and drums began to play in the background over a montage of the two teams over the course of the afternoon. Geoff and Priya were shown first, walking through the forest. Geoff noticed a protein bar, causing him to smile and bent down to pick it up, unaware that his feet were in a snare trap that soon hoisted the party guy in the air. Priya put the bag down and climbed the tree to untie her partner. Scott snuck by and rooted through their duffel bag to steal a can of bug spray, then left unnoticed. Geoff fell to the ground with a pained grunt and Priya leaped down later, waited for her partner to get up, and they both left none the wiser.
A flash forward to the next clip showed some bushes. Geoff and Priya popped up between them and shared a smirk. They growled like bears and scared Eva and Scott away. They ran into a log large enough for them to hide in, and Geoff and Priya pushed a large boulder into the opening and rooted through their duffel bag to steal a couple of protein bars. The camera panned to the other side of the log, where Eva and Scott left and looked back with confused expressions.
The next clip had Eva and Scott by a red berry bush. Scott grabbed a bunch of berries and squeezed them over his partner. Eva laid down on the ground and pretended to be dead while Scott hid behind the bush. Geoff and Priya walked on the scene with a sleeping bag, and when they saw the "dead" bodybuilder, they took off with fearful screams, unintentionally dropping the sleeping bag. Eva smirked and grabbed the bag.
The scene changed again, now showing a close-up of a pile of sticks and leaves on the ground. It pulled back, showing that Geoff and Priya had set the trap up before dashing off. Moments later, Eva and Scott came into the shot and fell into the hidden pit. Geoff quickly dashed over and grabbed their bag before it fell down, retrieving their compass and tossing the bag down to them with a grin.
The moonlit night was shown through the trees. A colony of bats flew across the scene, and the camera cut to Scott and Eva walking without any of their things.
"I can't believe they stole all of our supplies," Scott said.
"We should never underestimate them!" Eva quoted. "And we better get to camp soon cause you reek!"
"I can smell your armpits from a distance," Scott shot back.
The pair continued in silence until Eva spotted something on the ground and held her hand out for Scott to stop. The camera panned down to a trail of large human-like footprints in the dirt, then went back up to show the two exchanging a smirk.
"Scott, look!" Eva exclaimed. "Sasquatchanakwa must be nearby! We should be careful, right?"
"Oh please!" Scott declared loudly. "You're just making a fool out of yourself!"
Eva's eyes locked onto the bush as she tiptoed towards it. The bush rustled a bit before Eva sprung onto it.
An animalistic growl issued from it, and seconds later, Sasquatchanakwa rose up from it with Eva hanging around its neck in an attempted sleeper hold.
Scott screamed at the beast and ran. Eva looked down and saw that she was on top of the bigfoot. Sasquatchanakwa then hollowed and followed Scott more out of blind panic than anything else, and with Eva still barely clinging onto it.
The scene cut over to Priya and Geoff, Priya leading the way with the compass while Geoff took up the rear, looking around through the night vision goggles. "Sup, chipmunk," he said as he spotted a waving chipmunk. "How you doing, raccoon?" he continued as he saw a raccoon taking a fish out of the water. He spotted the Sasquatchanakwa and Eva running towards him, the former still yelling and the latter still clutching on, and gasped as they approaching group.
"Priya," Geoff announced as the point-of-view moved back to him and Priya, "we have to RUN!" He bolted in panic and ran past his partner, who gasped in alarm as she looked back, then ran away in terror as well. Scott was shown following them, with Eva and the sasquatch on the tail end of the chase.
Priya and Geoff were shown running into a cave in their panic, the camera following them in.
"Priya?" Geoff called out to the darkness, only his eyes visible in the upper left part of the screen.
"Geoff?" Scott answered suddenly, his eyes appearing in the lower right.
"Scott?" Eva added with a hint of confusion, eyes opening in the upper right.
"Eva?" Priya asked in another sudden appearance, her eyes in the lower left.
"Priya?" Eva replied.
"Geoff?" Priya called back.
"Scott?" Geoff repeated.
"Eva?" Scott shot back.
"Now that we know we're all here, what are we going to do?" Priya asked as a pair of red eyes opened in the middle of their group. "That thing is humongous!"
"I could have taken him," Scott boasted.
"Weren't you screaming like the rest of us?" Eva told her partner.
"I was trying to confuse it!" Scott defended. "Yeah, that's about right!"
"Well as long as we stay here, we should be safe," Geoff told the others.
"It depends on what you view as safe," Priya countered as countless smaller sets of red eyes opened around them.
"Sorry to interrupt," Eva said as a distinct chittering squeak began to fill the cave air, "but is the thing on my shoulder Scott's hand?"
"I'm not even touching you," Scott said.
Geoff's eyes went wide. "Then that must mean...bats!" At his cry, the camera cut back to the mouth they'd entered the cave from. Sasquatchanakwa came out running, roaring in fear as it left the cave. The camera panned to the left, showing a second opening similar to the first, from which the final four came running and screaming along with their respective bags and a large colony of bats.
The four teens stopped to catch their breath at a tree a fair distance from the cave. "One thing's for sure," Scott panted, "I do not want to wrangle with an angry sasquatch tonight."
"For once, I'm on your side," Eva replied.
The scene cut to Chef, sitting alone in the middle of the amphitheater stage strumming a large golden harp and singing a wordless melody. A cloud of small insects swarmed around him and one inadvertently flew into his open mouth, putting a temporary halt on the performance. With a deep snort and gurgle, Chef hocked up a loogie containing the offending insect, spitting it onto the floor before he resumed playing.
"Okay, guys," Scott told the others. "We're all pretty freaked out right now, so why don't we just camp together for the night?"
"We can still keep going!" Eva exclaimed.
"Maybe you can," Priya countered, "but I'm tired, and it's best to just make camp here."
"I'm with you guys," Geoff added, "There's no problem with sharing."
Eva looked around and frowned. "Fine! I know I'm outnumbered here! If we're going to do this, we'll need some firewood!"
"Me and Geoff will be in charge of handling that," Priya said.
"You two should set up camp while we're at it," Geoff offered before they ran off into the woods.
"I can't believe you made us halt our progress," Eva chided the devious farmer.
"Do you want our stuff back or not?" Scott hissed.
Confessional: Scott
"Even after being on the same team as me, Geoff and Priya are still blind to my plans," Scott told the confession camera with a devilish chuckle. "Those two won't know what hit 'em!"
Confessional: Eva
"Just when I think he can't get anymore underhanded, he manages to exceed my expectations," Eva said. "Well played."
Confessionals End
"Are you sure we should trust them with our stuff back there?" Geoff spoke to Priya as the scene focused on them.
"As if," Priya snorted and pulled their map out of her shirt. "Always be prepared," she winked at her partner.
The scene flashed forward, showing the moon above before panning down to the campers and their campfire. Scott yawned and stretched his arms, then slid his team's bag over to him. "I'm going to sleep," he announced, laying down on the ground with the bag as his pillow.
"I'm turning in as well," Geoff added and decided to lie on his back before dozing off.
The camera moved over to Eva and Priya, the latter leaning against the tree. "Are you going to watch the fire?" Priya wondered.
"We both need our sleep. Let's just leave it alone," Eva mumbled before swallowing a protein bar and falling asleep.
"Good night then," Priya told her with a smile before putting her head on the tree and closed her eyes in an attempt to drift off. The night faded into day and the reality TV fan was shaken awake by Geoff.
"Wake up!" Geoff shouted as he shook his partner. "Scott and Eva already left, and they took all our stuff!"
"WHAT?!" Priya shouted, immediately bolting to her feet. She looked for the map under her shirt, only to find out it was gone. "They even took our map!"
The scene cut to Eva and Scott sprinting through the forest. They both had the bags with them, and Scott had the map in his hand.
Confessional: Eva
"I have absolutely zero remorse for stealing from them," Eva admitted in the confessional. "They did the same thing to us, so that should even things out."
Confessional: Scott
Scott began his confessional by laughing. "So while the other team went out to get firewood, me and Eva planned for me to sleep for a little while until they got back. That way I could wake up earlier, alert Eva, and take the map and their things." Scott laughed again. "I just wish I could have seen their faces."
Confessionals End
"I can't believe we let them get one over us!" Priya moaned.
"It's not our fault. They just managed to wake up and get a headstart before us," Geoff comforted her before his train of thought was derailed when he caught a whiff of something in the wind. "Wait, do you smell that?"
Priya sniffed the air. "I do. It has a sweet and cinnamon-y touch to it."
"Those are sticky buns!" Geoff finished. "But who's making them?"
The shot cut over to the main campgrounds, the camera focusing in on the mess hall before cutting to a close-up of an oven door – a tray of sticky buns visible inside. Chef opened it with a puff of steam and took the pastries out. "Mmm," he said as he gave them a hungry look. "That's some oven lovin'."
The scene moved back to Priya and Geoff. "Whoever's making them is irrelevant. Let's follow that scent!" Priya immediately took off.
"Already behind you!" Geoff followed her.
Another flash took the shot back to Chef as the hulking man took his tray of sticky buns to a chair near the camp totem pole. Before he could start eating, a cry gained his attention.
"We're almost there!" Eva exclaimed off-screen.
"Aww, crap...," Chef muttered, his face falling.
The camera changed the focus over to the campers, Scott and Eva closing in fast until Geoff and Priya burst through some bushes and caught up. "Don't think we're out of the running yet!" Geoff countered as he and Priya began running alongside them for a brief moment before pulling ahead.
"Oh no you don't!" Eva declared. She came to a stop and hoisted Scott over her head, leaving the two bags on the floor.
"What are you doing?!" Scott yelled at his partner.
"Do you want to lose to them?" Eva asked. After pulling her arms back, she hurled Scott forward. The dirt farmer screamed as he flew through the air, and just as Priya and Geoff were about to touch the totem pole, they were taken back by Scott slamming onto the pole before them.
"Take that!" Scott mumbled with a dazed look before falling to the ground while Eva rushed to the three campers with the bags and helped him up.
"Dang it! We lost!" Priya huffed.
"Game's over. Scott and Eva win," Chef announced tersely, "Geoff and Priya lose!"
Confessional: Priya
"We were so close to the totem pole!" Priya complained in the outhouse. "I blame the other team's dumb luck for this, not me and Geoff!"
Confessional: Scott
"I don't like that Eva threw me to the pole, but it made us win at least," Scott confessed.
Confessional: Geoff
"Priya's pretty upset right now," Geoff admitted to the camera. "I'd ask for some sticky buns so I can give half to her, but I'd be refused."
Confessional: Eva
"Me and Scott deserved that win," Eva said. "Had it not been for my quick thinking, one of us would have to kiss the money goodbye!"
Confessionals End
The campfire ceremony began. "This," Chef said to the campers, "was supposed to be my day! I had it all planned," he said as the four watched him pace back and forth from across the fire pit. "I was gonna eat my sticky buns, and workout with one of Eva's dumbbells," the strong woman gasped, "while I finished reading Priya's book," the reality girl gasped, "and cleaned my toenails! That reminds me. You need to sharpen this," he threw Scott's knife back to him, though it was now scuffed up.
"Then I was gonna drink the rest of Geoff's bottles of soda," Chef added, earning a final gasp from the fourth camper.
"But you all ruined it, so I'll decide who's leaving!" he cast an angry glare at the teens, then began to rifle around in one of his pockets. "Here's your invinci-darn-bility." He tossed a pair of marshmallows, which sailed over the fire to be caught by Scott and Eva.
Chef grinned as the tension built up between Geoff and Priya. The shots began to alternate between the grinning cook, the nervous Geoff, and the anxious Priya. "You!" Chef announced towards Geoff and threw the last marshmallow at his mouth. "Choke on this, Thrill Ride!" The cook marched forward to the devastated girl. "You're finished!"
"Why did you pick me?!" Priya said in shock.
"Cause I know you stole my goggles from me," Chef informed her. "This is your punishment!"
The scene cut to Chef Hatchet marching down the Dock of Shame. "Left," he chanted, "left, left right left! C'mon, soldier," he said as he passed by the three remaining contestants, "do I bare a striking resemblance to somebody who's got all day?!"
Trailing behind him was Priya. "I would've loved to battle you in the finale," Scott told her as she walked by, "but you're out of the way now."
"For what it's worth," Eva added, "I respect your courage, and I admire your loyalty to our former alliance."
Priya walked further on and stopped in front of Geoff, who immediately scooped her up in a hug. "You did a good job on the island, and I know your parents would be proud of you despite not winning."
Geoff let go of Priya, who smiled back at him. "I hope you make it to the finale. You deserve it more than me," she said before walking past and boarding the Boat of Losers without another word.
A flash took the scene back to the campfire pit, the remaining campers seated around it. "So," Scott said in the middle as he looked to Geoff on his right and Eva on his left, "it looks like we're the Final Three."
Confessional: Scott
"I'd like to give a shout out to a few of the eliminated losers," Scott grinned. "Jasmine, I had to frame you for the tiki doll because I know you'd easily win the season if you made it to this point. MK, you are one bright girl. I wish you were still around. And Rodney, I never thought you had the brainpower to figure me out, but people can surprise me."
Confessional: Geoff
"Oh yeah," Geoff cheered in his confessional. "Final Three, baby! Only a few more days, and I'll be the winner! One hundred thousand dollars, here I come!"
Confessional: Eva
"Secretly, I didn't think I would make it this far given my personal issues," Eva admitted to the camera. "Now that I have, I might as well win."
Confessionals End
The static cut to Priya sitting on the deck of the Boat of Losers. "Are you able to speed the boat up?" she asked the driver as the camera moved to her point-of-view, looking into the darkened cabin. A soft and eerie tune began to play in the background as the camera zoomed in, revealing none other than Sasquatchanakwa itself driving the ship. It turned and snarled at Priya, who gave a short scream. Shockingly, the beast then grabbed at its own face, tearing it off and revealing Chef hiding just beneath – he had been in costume. He snickered, and Priya breathed in relief.
Then he tore off his 'head' again, revealing the snarling face of Sasquatchanakwa again. Priya screamed again, and the cycle began to repeat over and over, each mask getting tossed into the lake as the Boat glided across it.

Author's Note: I am absolutely happy with how we handled Priya this season. She probably is the most controversial character of the reboot and for good reason too. I made sure to make it so her parents weren't absolute degenerates like in the show(that's a whole basket-case I'm not eager to cover) and I had her shipped with Damien who is honestly my favorite ship for her(it could've been Millie but... I'm sure we all saw what Priya did in that finale). So yeah, I'm happy with what we did for Priya but she couldn't win this season.
