WARNING: LOVE SCENE
"Come, child, it is time for bed." Storm said, taking Leila's hand and guiding her out of the entertainment room where the older kids where.
"But I'm not tired." She said, dragging the stuffed giraffe behind her.
"It is your bed time, regardless." She said leading her upstairs and around the hall to the bedroom.
Walking through her parents' room, they crossed the hall and went into her room where Storm turned the light on and walked over, turning the sheets down.
"Brush your teeth and I shall read you a story of our choice." She smiled at the little girl who seemed to like that idea.
Setting the giraffe on her bed, she quickly went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth before returning and climbing underneath the covers.
Walking over to the small bookshelf, Storm knelt down. "Which story would you like tonight?" She asked.
Leila shrugged. "I don't know." She said, lifting her hand and scratching her head.
Storm smiled. "Perhaps I shall choose?" She asked, seeing the girl nod. "Very well."
Looking over the books, Storm finally settled for 'Jack and the Bean Stalk'. Taking her seat beside Leila on the bed, she opened the book and began to read, letting Leila see the pictures as the story went on. Halfway through the book, Leila was asleep leaning against Storm. Smiling lovingly, she carefully got up and lied her down, pulling the covers up over her and making sure her new giraffe friend was beside her.
Leaving the room, she head into Gambit and Rogue's room where she sat on the bed and read a book she had brought with her. It wasn't long before she was feeling tired herself and changed into her nightgown and turned the sheets down. Once she climb in bed, she lied her head down and then heard the door creep open. She couldn't help but smile, hearing the little feet quietly make their way over to the bed and then crawl up, cuddling close to her.
She knew Gambit and Rogue would disapprove of her not sleeping in her own bed, but they weren't here and it was only one night. Continuing to smile, she placed her hand on Leila's head before she kissed the top of it.
Rogue found herself wide awake around five that morning. She lied there a good while, listening to the ocean, before she carefully got out of bed and walked over to the window. Looking out into the horizon, she could see the pinkish sky starting up. The sun was going to make it's appearance.
Leaning over, she rest her forearms against the window sill and waited for the sun to show itself. After a few minutes, she jumped when she felt a pair of hands on her waist.
"Sorry." Gambit said quietly as he moved to the right of her, placing his left hand on her back.
She smiled at him and moved closer, kissing him softly. "Ah thought about wakin' ya up ta see tha sunrise with me." She said, reaching out and combing her fingers through his hair.
He smiled back, taking her hand and kissing her fingertips before he pulled her close and wrapped his arm around her. "It's beautiful, no?" He asked, kissing the side of her face.
"Mm hmm." She answered, the first rays of sunlight shining over the water in the distance. "We don't get ta see it like this at tha school."
"Nope." He said, letting his hand wander down her back and rub it lightly. "Joyeux anniversaire. Happy anniversary."
Rogue watched the sun start to rise and smiled, feeling him kiss her shoulder and then neck, trailing up to her ear and then the side of her face. Putting her right arm around him, she kissed him, causing it to turn the passion on inside them both. She rolled her head back as he kissed her throat, placing her hand on the back of his head as he trailed down her chest.
Running his hand up her stomach, he lifted his head and looked into her eyes that reflected the sunrise. "Vous ĂȘtes si belle." He said quietly as he pulled her close and kissed her lips passionately.
She let out a moan, feeling his hands grab her rear and pull her closer against him. As his kisses made their way down to her chest again, she kissed the top of his head and hugged him, feeling his hands move up and under her night top. Stepping back, she pulled it up and over her head before she pressed her bare chest against his, continuing the passionate embrace.
It was her turn to litter his jaw, neck and chest with kisses as he led her back over to the bed. Sitting down, he took her hands and pulled her closer to him, causing her to straddle his lap. She followed suit and ran her fingers through his hair again, continuing their heated kiss. It wasn't long before they found themselves in bed, naked.
Reaching down, Rogue took hold of Gambit and began to massage him as she kissed his neck. He let out soft moans as he turned his head and kissed her. After several minutes, he got to his knees and straddled her thighs, smiling as he pressed his lips against hers, his hand coming up and finding her entrance. As he massaged her bud, his fingers dipped in, feeling how ready she was for him.
"Ah want ya so bad." She whispered into his ear as she pulled him closer.
Smiling lovingly at her, he parted her legs and pushed inside her slowly, feeling her engulf him. He moaned, moving all the way in, before he slowly pulled out and pushed back in, repeating over and over.
Wrapping her legs around him, Rogue moaned, feeling him fill her up with each slow thrust. "Remy." She moaned into his ear quietly as he looked into her eyes.
"I love you." He said before he pressed his lips against hers, the kiss turning more passionately than before, as he quickened his pace, slightly.
She moaned again, running her fingers through his hair and taking hold of it in her fists as the pleasure intensified. "Yes." She said in a breathy tone as he picked up his pace again.
Littering her her neck with kisses, he moaned as her hands moved to his shoulderes and her fingernails dug into his skin, pulling him closer to her. He lifted himself with his hands and looked down into her bright green eyes as he kept his current pace. She stared back up into his eyes, her hands running over his chest and then arms before she closed her eyes and pressed her head back against the pillow in pleasure.
Pulling away, he took her hands and sat her up, guiding her to straddle his waist. Taking him, she guided him inside her and began to ride him slowly. Running her hands up her chest and into her hair, she lulled her head back before she looked down at him, staring deep into his eyes as her hands rested on his chest for support.
Breathy moans escaped them both as Gambit's hands ran up her thighs and rest on her rear. He sat up and kissed her lips, helping her ride him with his hands, pulling her closer to him with every grind she gave.
"Anna." He whispered into her ear before kissing it softly.
She smiled, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and hugging him tightly as she continued her riding. She could feel herself getting close, her breathing quickening. Kissing her clavicle, Gambit reached down and started to massage her bud with his thumb, causing her head to lull back in pleasure.
Coddling his head, she kissed the top of it as she approached her climax. "Don' stop." He whispered, continuing to help her ride him. "Keep goin'."
"Oh my god." She moaned shutting her eyes before she placed her hands on either side of his face and forced him to look up at her as she rode him. "Ah'm gonna come."
He glanced at her lips as he felt her hands rest on his shoulders. "Hold out jus' a li'l longer." He said, breathlessly.
Closing her eyes, she lifted her eyebrows and tried to concentrate as she pleasure from his massaging kept her going toward her end. "Remy... Ah can't..."
He grunted as he felt her walls contract around him. "Mm!" He shut his eyes, forcing himself to hold out as she collapsed in his arms, breathing heavily.
Gently rolling her to her back, he smiled lovingly down at her as he pressed inside her, moving at a quick pace. Leaning forward, he kissed her softly before kissing her right breast, sucking on the nipple lightly. Taking her legs, he put them together and moved them to the side, causing her to tighten around him.
"Fuck!" He moaned, keeping his fast pace.
Rogue reached out and lightly ran her fingertips up his lower stomach as she watched him. She couldn't help but smile as she continued to float on that sexual high she just experienced.
Letting out a breathy moan, he leaned over and placed his hands on either side of her chest and moved deeper, keeping his same pace. Rogue lifted her head and kissed the tip of his nose, causing him to smirk as he kissed her lips hungrily.
"I'm comin'." He whispered against her lips. "Fuck."
Wrapping her arms around his shoulders, Rogue kissed his chin and jaw before whispering into his ear. "Yes." She said, hearing him grunt.
Gritting his teeth, he looked into her eyes as he released himself inside her, slowing his thrusts to match the spasms of his orgasm. "Fuck." He moaned, pushing inside her before he lied down, resting his head on her left shoulder.
Kissing his left ear, Rogue smiled as she ran her fingers through his long, sweaty hair. "That was better than ah remember it." She said as he lifted his head and smiled at her.
"A'ways better when y' go wit'out fo' a while." He said, kissing her softly as he pulled out of her and lied down beside her, looking over her face. "I love you."
"Ah love ya, too." She said, propping herself on her side and drawing patterns on his chest. "We gotta find more time ta make love."
"Anytime good fo' me." He said, propping himself up and kissing her lips.
Rogue giggled. "Well, we can't just be having sex whenever. We got Leila in tha other room." She said.
"She a heavy sleeper." He said, kissing her neck. "After a hour, it be a'right."
"Ah don't know." She said, combing through his hair again. "Ah always have this fear of her walkin' in on us. Then we'll hafta explain sex ta her."
Lifting his head, Gambit raised an eyebrow. "Why y' t'inkin' o' dis right now? We Cross dat bridge when we get t' it." He said, kissing her lips again. "Now shut up an' let me love on y' fo' a while."
Smiling, Rogue closed her eyes as his kisses trailed down her neck before going back up to her lips. His hand ran up her sweaty stomach and gently cupped her breast, kneading it softly so the nipple would go hard.
He licked her neck behind her ear. "Taste so good." He said, huskily into her ear, causing her to let out a throaty giggle. "Damn."
"Remy, stop that." She said, lightly slapping his chest. "That's gross."
He chuckled as he looked into her eyes, the sun was fully out now and was warming their bodies through the open window. Giving him a loving smile, she lifted her head and kissed him, running her hands over his back before they found his long, sweaty hair again.
Letting out a pleasurable sigh, Rogue pulled him close and hugged him tight. "Ah wish we had more than one night." She said, playing with a few chunks of his hair.
"How 'bout I plan somet'in' a li'l later on, eh? We go t' Hawaii o' somet'in'." Gambit suggested, kissing her shoulder.
"But that's gonna be pretty difficult with ya teachin' and all." She said, twirling his hair between her index and middle fingers.
"Jeanie fill in fo' me." He said, his hand running down her side and resting on her hip.
"Jeanie's gonna be outta commission soon." Rogue said, placing her hand on his that rested on her hip. "Once she has that baby, she ain't gonna be doing a whole lot."
"Den, Wha' do you suggest?" He asked, looking into her eyes.
"Ah suggest, we have a night every week dedicated ta us." She said, kissing his forehead.
"Jus' a night?" He asked, smirking. "We deserve mo' dan one night."
"Of course we do, but ya don't wanna be worn out." She said winking at him. "Anyway, ah'm getting hungry."
"A'right. Le's get dressed and call downstairs." He said, kissing the side of her face before they got up and got ready.
"Tante Ro." Leila whispered loudly. "I'm gonna go find Uncle Logan."
Stirring, Storm smiled at her and nodded. "Be quiet when you walk down the halls." She said, softly.
Leila nodded as she climbed off the bed and opened the door, heading out into the hall. Walking down the hall, she made a right and then another before coming up to Logan's room. Placing her hand in the cold, metal handle, she turned it and opened the door slowly, seeing his silhouette on the bed. Smiling, she quickly walked over and climbed up on his bed, crawling over to his face.
"Uncle Logan?" She whispered, causing him to stir. "Uncle Logan?" She whispered more loudly.
He jerked awake and looked to his right, seeing the little girl looking down at him. "What are you doin' up this early?" He asked, rubbing his face.
"It's morning." Leila said, placing the stuffed giraffe on his chest. "Look what mommy got me."
Logan smiled. "I see." He said, lifting his left hand and touching the tuft of hair on the plushie. "I like it. What's his name?"
Leila jut her jaw to the right and thought as she looked at the giraffe. "I haven't named him yet." She said, her face suddenly showing a slight sadness.
"That's alright, darlin'." Logan said, reaching out and tucking her hair behind her left ear. "You'll think of something to call him."
"Uncle Logan?" Leila asked.
"Yep?" He answered, sitting up and stretching his arms over his head.
"Can you take me to the park today?" She asked.
"We'll see." Logan said, placing his hand on the side of her face and smiling at her. "This week is pretty busy. You gotta get ready to start kindergarten." He shook his head. "Can't believe you're already startin' school. Do me a favor, kid. Stop growin'."
Leila giggled as she stood up and walked closer to him, giving him a hug. Logan smiled as he hugged her back, stroking her hair lightly before he pulled away and looked at her.
"Did you stay in your room alone?" He asked.
She shook her head. "Tante Ro stayed with me. We slept in mommy and daddy's bed." She said, seeing him nod.
"And Ro's still sleepin'?" He asked with a smile.
Leila nodded. "Mm hmm." She said.
"That's surprising. She's usually one of the first ones up, along with you, squirt." He said, making Leila smile.
"Come on!" Leila said. "Get up. Let's go to the park!"
Logan smiled. "Gotta get some breakfast first, kiddo. You're gonna need the energy is you wanna go run around at the park." He said, getting out of bed and putting a tank top on.
"That's what daddy says." She said, as he turned and picked her up.
"Well, your daddy's a smart man." He said, patting her leg as he slipped his house shoes on and made his way downstairs with Leila in his arms.
Walking into the kitchen, they saw Scott sitting at the table reading the paper, sipping on coffee and Charles at the end of the table looking at some papers. Looking up, Charles smiled at them as they entered.
"Good morning." He said, placing the papers on the table.
"Hi." Leila said as Logan walked over to the coffee and poured himself a cup before he walked over and stood by the table.
"I was going to make breakfast." Scott said with a smile.
Leila shook her head. "I don't want waffles." She said.
Scott's eyebrows dipped behind his glasses before he looked at Charles. "What's wrong?" Charles asked.
"I think she just read my mind." He said, looking at Leila. "Did you see what I was thinking?" Leila nodded. "Can you do it again?"
She shook her head, hugging Logan, feeling strange with everyone looking at her.
"Leila?" Charles asked, getting her attention. "How often do you do this?"
She slightly pouted, feeling as if she had done something wrong. The shame was evident on her face.
"You ain't in trouble, darlin'." Logan said, patting her knee. "You've got a gift."
"How many times do you see peoples' thoughts?" Charles asked, smiling warmly up at her.
"I can't all the time." She said, looking down at the floor as she played with Logan's hair in the back.
"What do you see?" Charles asked her.
"Pictures." She said.
Charles looked at Scott. "We'll need to start working with her. This is remarkable." He said. "We haven't had one this young to discover their powers since that incident here years ago."
"The little girl died?" Leila asked, looking into Logan's eyes.
He nodded his head. "Accidentally." He said, remembering he had seen her body and feared for what Leila had just seen in his head.
"Do Anna and Remy know about this?" Scott asked, before he looked up at Leila. "Have you told your mom and dad that you can see pictures in peoples' minds?"
Leila shook her head as Jean entered the kitchen. "Good morning." She said, walking closer to them.
Charles looked at Jean and Logan knew they were speaking telepathically. Jean's eyes widened a bit before they fixed on Leila.
"Leila, honey, would you like to play some games today?" Jean asked with a smile.
"Yeah!" She said, enthusiastically with a smile, causing everyone to chuckle.
"Perfect. After breakfast we'll play, alright?" She asked with a smile.
"Okay." Leila said, hugging the giraffe.
Jean nodded at Charles before she turned to start on breakfast. "Here, I got it." Scott said, standing and walking over to her.
"You're a horrible cook, Scott. I love you, but you're terrible." She said with a smile, causing them to chuckle. "Leila, would you like to help me?"
"Yeah!" She said, trying to squirm out of Logan's arms.
"Whoa!" Logan said, trying to make sure she didn't fall before he sat her down.
"Here, you hold that and wait until I need you to stir this up. Got it?" Jean asked, looking down at the girl with a smile.
"Got it." Leila said, waiting for her task to come about.
Rogue took in a deep breath of the salty, ocean air and closed her eyes. It had been an amazing morning, and the food wasn't half bad, either. Hearing the bathroom door open, Rogue turned and smiled as Gambit walked out still drying himself off.
Winking at her, he threw the towel on the bed before walking up behind her and hugging her, wrapping his arms around her. "Missed you in dere." He said, kissing her neck.
Smiling wider, she placed her right hand on his arm that wrapped around her shoulders. "Ah'm sorry. Ah needed ta do some thinkin'." She said, turning her head and looking at him.
"Understand." He said, kissing her cheek before he walked over and began to get dressed.
Rogue's phone beeped and she looked over at where it was on the nightstand. Standing, she walked over and picked it up.
"Don' y' dare look at dat phone." He smirked, pulling a shirt over his head.
"Shut it." She said, turning the screen on and reading the text that was sent from Logan. "Oh my god."
Gambit shot his head up and looked at her shocked face before he walked over and looked down at her phone. "Wha's wrong? Wha's de matter?" He asked, looking at her.
"Logan just said they believe Leila's a telepath." She said, looking back down at the text he sent her. "She saw what Scott was thinking and then saw something in his mind. Jean's gonna start working with her on controlling it."
Gambit's brows dipped. "She only five." He said. "Slim t' none chance dat happens."
"Well, it's happened, sugah." Rogue said. "Just like ya little chef. Remember?"
His eyes looked up into hers. "Dis gonna interfere wit' her schoolin'?" He asked.
"Ah think her learning ta control her powers is more important than kindergarten." Rogue said, setting her phone down. "Besides, Leila's extremely smart. Ah'm sure she can skip kindergarten and go right on inta first."
"C'est vrai." He said, his face suddenly turning to worry. "Wha' if she see my past an' de t'ings I done? Wha, am I suppose t' tell her? Wha' if she see me-"
Rogue turned and cupped his face. "Remy, calm down." She said, stroking the apples of his cheeks before she kissed him softly. "Ya can tell her tha truth. Ya her daddy. She expects ya to."
Slightly nodding, he looked away. "Guess." He said, turning and sitting on the bed. "Don' want her seein' me as a monster."
Rogue gave him a warm smile before the knelt down in front of him, placing her hands on his knees. "From what it sounds like, she can only see what ya thinkin' at that moment, not ya past memories." She said, patting his knees before she stood up. "But ah could be wrong."
"Ugh!" Gambit moaned as he lied back on the bed with his arms sprawled out. "Why we gotta have a telepath?"
Rogue laughed as she walked over and crawled up his body, looking down at him. "That's just tha way it is, lover." She said, kissing his forehead. "Get it under control now and teach her the value of her powers and we won't have any problems later on."
Looking at her, he raised an eyebrow. "She a LeBeau." He said, placing his hands on her waist. "And she got yo temper. We in trouble."
Rogue chuckled as she got off him and sat down beside him. "That's why we gotta nip it now." She said, watching him sit up and lean in close to her.
He smirked, stopping just inches from her lips. "Gonna be a interestin' ride, no?" He asked, his eyes dipping down and looking at her lips.
"At least we'll be in it together." She said, closing the gap between them and kissed his lips.
"Alright, let's start this exercise." Jean said, walking into her office and sitting down at her desk. "Leila, I'm going to hold up a card and you're going to tell me what's on it. Sound good?"
"Okay." Leila said, sitting opposite of Jean at her desk.
Opening a drawer in her desk, Jean took out a deck of cards. "Alright, tell me what's on this card." She said, taking one out and placing it in front of her.
"I don't know." Leila said, looking down at the card. "I can't see it."
Jean smiled. "This is part of the game." She said, seeing Leila look up into her eyes.
"Banana." She said.
Jean raised her eye brows at her correct, quick answer. "That's right." She said, flipping the card over to reveal a banana. "How about, this one?"
Leila watched her as she took a card out and placed it in front of her again, on the desk. She could see the girl thinking and start to gnaw at her bottom lip.
Looking into Jean's eyes again, Leila spout out the answer. "Ball." She said with a smile.
Jean smiled back, flipping the card over. "Right again." She said, taking another card out, glancing at it as she had been doing, before she placed it on the desk. "How about this one?"
Leila kept looking into Jean's eyes. "Bear." She said.
"Good job." She said, realizing how the girl's power worked. "What about this one?"
Jean took the card out and placed it on the desk, this time not looking to see what it was. Leila looked into Jean's eyes and her face turned to worry.
"I... I don't know." She said quietly, lowering her head.
Jean smiled, flipping the card over. "Truck." She said. "Leila, do you understand how you're able to see the pictures in my mind?" Leila shook her head. "Don't worry, you'll understand soon. Let's keep working, alright? Afterwards, I'll have Logan take you to the park, alright?"
"Okay!" She cheered up, sitting up straight in the chair.
"Alright, now with this game, I want you to tell me the object I'm Looking at." She said. "Are you ready?"
"Uh huh." Leila said, waiting for Jean to start.
Jean looked around her office behind Leila. "Alright. What am I seeing?" Jean asked.
Leila looked into Jean's eyes. "The Earth." She said, making Jean smile.
"The globe, that's right." She said, understanding her abilities more. "And what now?"
"Scott." Leila smiled.
"The picture of Scott, yes." Jean looked at the little girl. "Leila, you have a very special gift. Do you always see what people are thinking?"
Leila shook her head. "Not always." She said, scratching her knee. "Sometimes it doesn't work. Especially on Daddy."
Jean smiled again. "Yeah, sometimes I have a hard time seeing what he's thinking, as well." She said. "I think we need to have these exercises every day for ten minutes, alright?"
"Okay." Leila said, with a smile.
"Now, go report to Logan and tell him I said to take you to the park." She said, smirking.
"Yeah!" Leila exclaimed as she hopped out of the chair and ran out of Jean's office.
A/N: Sorry for the late update. Been EXTREMELY busy with my cosplay, which I finished, and life. I'll try and update more if I can. Also, I've been asked to write a story about Leila as a 19yo. Well, we gotta see if she even lasts that long in this story... Thanks for reading!
