Hahaha! No, no, no. No 'mom jeans' for Rogue. She's too sexy for those!
Gambit probably would put on a gown for his little princess. I know would (if I had kids)!

Thanks for the review!
They'll get some alone time on their trip and you'll get to see that, since I've been told it's time for some *ahem* love scenes.
ANA XPERT
Remember, Leila has been coming into their room a lot as of late according to Rogue and Gambit.
Haha, you'll get your smutt, ladies. Don't you worry ;)
The alarm went off letting Gambit know that it was time to get ready for the day. Hitting the button, he gently sat up and pulled his numb left arm carefully out from underneath Rogue. She rolled over on her left side not waking as she took in a deep breath. Pulling the covers up over her bare shoulders, he head into the bathroom where he had a quick shower to wake him up. Getting dressed, he head down to get some coffee.
Entering into the kitchen, he saw Storm and Gabby standing by the island counter. "Mornin'." He said with a smile, getting their attention. "What y' doin' up so early?"
"I'm heading out." Gabby said.
"A'ready?" Gambit asked, grabbing a cup from the cupboard and pouring the black coffee into it.
"I came to check out the school and I did. It's a great place and I feel safe leaving Danielle here." Gabby said.
"Ain' no safer place." Gambit said, turning to her as she walked up to him.
"Please watch over her, Remy." Gabby said. "She's all I have."
Giving her a warm smile, he drew an 'X' over his heart with his right hand. "Hope t' die, chere." He said, seeing her smile return at the familiar gesture as she moved in and hugged him tight.
"Thank you." She quietly said.
Pulling away, he smiled down at her again as he cupped her face and leaned in, kissing her forehead softly. "Y' take care o' yo'self." He said, taking his hands from her face.
She smiled again. "Have a lovely trip with Anna." She said. "I wish nothing but the best for you both."
She grabbed her bag and followed Storm out of the kitchen, giving him one last wave before she was out of sight. Letting out a sigh, he grabbed his coffee mug along with a banana and head down to his classroom where he opened the door and turned the florescent lights on. Hearing nothing but the hum of the lights, he suddenly cursed under his breath, remembering he had left his bag in the bedroom. Setting his mug on his desk, he turned and head out and down the hall toward the stairs as he peeled the banana.
Reaching the third floor, he head down and quietly opened the door finding Rogue hadn't moved. He smiled as he walked over to the closet and picked up his bag before he head to the door. Stopping in the doorway, he turned and walked over to the bed, leaning over and kissing Rogue's shoulder several times before heading out and back down to his classroom.
Finishing the banana, he tossed it in the trash once he made it back to his classroom. "Someone's up early." He looked over to see Rikki smiling at him in the doorway.
"A'ways get up dis early." He said, smiling back as he took his lap top out and booted it up. "Question is, why you up dis early?"
Rikki sighed as she hugged herself. "Micah was throwing up all night." She said. "He finally calmed down about an hour ago and now he's just sleeping."
"Mm." Gambit said as he took a sip of coffee. "Dat be de worst. I'm sorry."
"Is what it is. I just hope no one else gets it." Rikki said as she walked over and leaned against his desk and watched him as he pulled up whatever it was on his computer. "When are you two leaving?"
He looked up from his screen and made eye contact. "T'morrow." He said, taking another sip of coffee as he continued to look at her. "Quoi faire?"
"What?" She asked, her eyebrow cocked.
"Why?" He repeated in English this time. "Why de questions?"
Rikki shook her head. "Just making small talk." She said. "Plus, I have no problems helping out with Leila while you're gone."
He smirked. "T'ink dat come wit' de territory o' livin' here." He said. "Y' be obligatoire t' help out."
She smiled back at him. "True." She said, running her fingers over his desk top. "So, do people regularly speak French in New Orleans?"
Taking another sip of coffee he shrugged. "Not ever'one." He said. "Jus' be de language o' de Cajun people."
"I'd like to go one day." She said, crossing her arms. "I hear so many good things about it."
"It be a sight, dat's fo' sho'." He said. "Damn, I miss dat city."
"You ever gonna go back?" She asked.
He gave another smirk. "Anna promise we go visit in de summer." He said. "I be excited, but den at de same time, non."
"I'm sure you'll have a great time." She said as she pushed off his desk. "Well, I'll leave you alone. I'm sure I've bothered you enough. Going to get some coffee."
"See y' 'round, chere." He said as she left his room.
Opening her eyes, Rogue rolled on to her back and stretched as she let out a yawn. She wasn't too sure how late it was, but it was definitely well into the morning.
"Leila!" She said to herself as she quickly got out of bed and pulled the undershirt Gambit had wore last night to dinner over her head before she went across the hall to Leila's room.
Opening the door, she saw Leila wasn't there. In fact, the bed was still made from yesterday when Rogue made it.
Letting out a sigh, she smiled. "Jean must've kept her." She said to herself.
She continued to smile as she head into the bathroom for a shower. Starting up the water, she pulled the shirt off and put it in the hamper before testing the water. When it was nice and warm, she climbed in and started her routine. She still had that smile on her face and she couldn't help it. Last night was great. Dinner was tasty, but last night when they got home was amazing. After these last few days, they needed to just focus on themselves and they did just that. Washing her hair, Rogue then continued with the conditioner before washing her body with her citrus smelling soap. After killing the water, she head into the bedroom where she got dressed and put her wet hair up in a bun.
Heading out and downstairs, Rogue walked into the kitchen to grab a bite. "Hey." Kitty said with a smile. "How are you? I haven't seen you in a while."
Rogue smiled. "Ah'm alright, ah guess." She said with a sigh. "Where have ya been? Ah haven't seen you around."
Kitty shrugged. "Been taking it easy." She said. "I heard you and Remy are taking Betsy up on the offer to head to Sydney to find that kid."
"Yeah." Rogue said, pouring creamer into her black coffee and then adding some sugar. "Ah think it'll be good for us. We need the break."
"Shyeah, no kidding." Kitty said. "I'm just glad everyone is safe and sound and back to normal."
"Thanks, hun." Rogue said with a smile as she took a sip of her perfectly made coffee. "Ah definitely don't wanna relive that ever again. Oh, and by tha way, congratulations."
Kitty beamed, knowing what she was talking about. "Thanks!" She said, but then let her smile fade. "I kinda didn't want to tell you since, you know, you two have been trying for years now."
"Gal, don't even worry about it." Rogue said. "It sucks, yeah, but ah'm happy for ya. Would've found out eventually then ah would've been pissed that ya didn't tell me. Besides, we're in the process of adoptin' so hopefully it all works out."
"I know, but still." Kitty said.
"Ah appreciate ya." Rogue said, winking at her friend before letting out a yawn. "Goodness. Sorry. Ah slept tha mornin' away."
Kitty chuckled. "Late night?" She asked.
Rogue smirked. "Always is, hun." She said as she took another sip of coffee. "Ah've gotta run and talk with Jean. Ya take care of ya self."
"Yep, you too!" Kitty said as Rogue left the kitchen.
Heading down to Jean's office, Rogue yawned again. "Lord." She muttered to herself as she walked into the office, seeing Jean and Betsy sitting on the couch. "Mornin' gals."
"I was wondering when you'd get up." Jean said with a smile.
"Yeah, well." Rogue said, leaving it at that as she walked over and joined the two women on the couch. "Ah came ta talk ta ya about what ya proposed yesterday."
"Should I excuse myself?" Psylocke asked.
"Nah, it ain't nothin' secretive." Rogue said crossing her right leg over her left. "Ah gave it some thought and ah think it'd be good for me ta be a councilor."
Jean smiled. "Excellent!" She said.
"What all would ah be doin' exactly?" Rogue asked. "Do ah gotta sit behind a desk all day?"
"No." Jean shook her head, still smiling. "You would just have to make yourself accessible to the students when they need someone to talk to."
"That ah can do." Rogue said. "Assumin' Leila doesn't act up in class."
"We bonded last night while you and Remy were at dinner." Jean said. "Painted our nails and toenails. She even spilled the beans that she sometimes paints Remy's."
Rogue smiled. "Tha man is a saint." She said, picking lent off of her pants. "God, ah love him so much."
Jean and Psylocke chuckled. "I take it last night was good, then?" Jean asked.
Giving a playful grin, Rogue took a sip of coffee. "Why do all of our conversations lead back ta sex?" She asked, making them all laugh.
"Hey, I was just asking about your night in general. You're the one taking it down the sex path." Jean said making them laugh again.
"Sex is important." Betsy said.
"Yes it is." Rogue said as she sighed before looking at Psylocke. "Ta change tha subject, what time does our plane leave tomorrow?"
"Five twenty-three." She answered.
"Mornin' or evening?" Rogue asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Unfortunately, morning." Psylocke said. "It was the only time my pilot could meet me here before he heads off to another location for me. I squeezed this trip in, you could say."
"Ain't a big deal. We can nap on tha plane." Rogue said, waving her hand in a shewing motion. "How long does it take ta get ta Sydney from here?"
"About a day." She replied. "There will be plenty of time to sleep and relax. Just don't have sex on my plane."
The three women laughed. "Listen, that would be awkward." Rogue said. "We ain't gonna be doing anything like that on ya plane, hun. That's just wrong."
"Knock, knock." Gambit looked up from his laptop and at the door to see Rogue.
He smiled as he stood and walked over to her. "When y' get outta bed, chere?" He asked, kissing her cheek.
"About ten thirty." She said, reaching up and running her fingers through his hair. "Ah'm doin' some last minute packin'. Ya need anything?"
Pouting his lips in thought, he shrugged. "Guess m' cards." He said. "We need our uniforms?"
"Ah packed 'em just in case, since they're armor. Especially for ya. Ah don't want ya gettin' hurt." She said, moving in and wrapping her arms around his neck.
He smirked. "Won' get hurt. Not if y' be t'ere t' protec' me." He said, placing a gentle kiss on her lips.
"Whoa! Sorry!" A student said as they entered the classroom.
Gambit and Rogue pulled away. "Ya alright hun." She said, looking back at Gambit. "Betsy said our plane leaves in tha mornin'. Five twenty-three."
Letting out a groan, Gambit rolled his head back before looking at his chuckling wife. "Why de early flight?" He asked.
"Listen, she squeezed this trip in last minute and it's tha only time her pilot can get here." She said. "Ah know, early flights suck, but we'll have time ta sleep. It takes about a day ta get ta Australia."
"You're going to Australia?" The student asked, eavesdropping. "What about class?"
Turning to the student, Gambit put his hand out as if to calm her. "Don' worry. Class will still continue." He said, looking back at Rogue. "We havin' a straight shot from here?"
"Sounds like it." Rogue said as she crossed her arms just under her bust as she glanced at the student who got their papers out for class.
"Wha's de matter?" He asked, placing his left hand on her right elbow. "Dat be yo' 'I'm t'inkin' 'bout somet'in' serious' face."
She smiled. "Ah feel guilty leavin' Leila." She said, seeing him smile at her. "After what she went through this past weekend."
"I unde'stand, but she be fine here. Safe." He said, giving her elbow a light squeeze. "An' we need dis getaway to pull ourse'ves back toget'a. We been t'rough de ringer, too."
"Ah know." She said letting out a sigh. "Okay." She moved in and placed her hands on his chest. "Ah promise not ta be a downer startin' now."
"Bon." He said, giving her another kiss.
"Ah'm gonna go finish packing last minute things. Ah'll see ya after school." She said as she turned and left his classroom.
"Jeanie?" Leila asked, getting Jean's attention.
"What is it, honey?" Jean asked.
"Why are the other kids in my class scared of me?" she asked.
Jean gave the young girl a smile. "They aren't scared of you." She said.
"Yes they are." Leila said. "I can see it in their eyes."
Placing her hands on the young girl's shoulders, Jean was about to speak but Leila cut her off.
"I don't want to see in people's eyes anymore." She said, her face turning sad.
"Leila," Jean started, stroking the side of Leila's head. "We don't get to choose whether we have these amazing abilities or not. They just randomly happen. In your case, your abilities surfaced years before they normally would. I know it's difficult and confusing and scary, but you'll get the hang of it and you'll know the importance of your abilities."
"Were you scared when you could see in people's eyes?" Leila asked.
Jean smiled. "Yes. Very much so." She said. "But once I learned to control it, I wasn't scared anymore. That's why we play the games here in my office. So you can learn to control your powers and you won't be scared."
Leila smiled as a knock on the door made them look. "Papa!" Leila called out, making Gambit smile.
Running over, he knelt down and scooped her up. "Y' gonna go teasin' me wit' yo' French again?" He asked, kissing her cheek. "Should start talkin' t' you in French mo' often. I know it be in t'ere."
Leila smiled as she hugged him and rest her head on his shoulder. "We had a pretty intense session this afternoon. Didn't we Leila?" Jean asked, placing her hand on the girl's back.
"Mm hmm." Leila nodded.
"T'ink it be time for some dinner." He said, turning to whisper into Leila's ear. "Votre choix."
"McDonald's!" She said full of enthusiasm.
"Non. Y' had dat already dis week." He said. "Allons au restaurant."
"McDonald's is a restaurant." Leila said.
"I'm talking about a nice sit down restaurant." Gambit said with a smirk. "Y' too smart fo' me."
"Have a good evening." Jean said. "Wherever you decide to eat, I hope it's tasty."
Leila smiled at Jean as she watched her dad pick up her backpack and walk her out of Jean's office. "Daddy?" Leila asked as she played with his hair in the back.
"Mm hmm?" He asked, looking at her.
"Why are you and mommy leaving tomorrow?" She asked. "Why do you have to find a boy?"
He smiled at her. "Dat boy took somet'in' from Miss Betsy." He said. "We gonna go talk t' him and get whatever it is dat he took, back."
"Does he have abililies?" She asked, making him smile at the big word she tried to pronounce.
"Oui." He said. "Where y' learn dat word?"
"Aunt Jeanie." She said, making him smile again.
"She be a smart woman. Here, let's go find yo' mama." He said as he took her upstairs to their room where they put their things away before heading back downstairs to look for Rogue.
Heading down to Leila's classroom, they found Rogue chatting with Rikki. "Mommy!" Leila called out from down the hall, making her look their direction and smile.
Running toward her, Rogue knelt down and picked her up as soon as she got to her. "Hey sugah pop." She said, giving Leila a kiss on her cheek. "Looks like ya two are on a mission."
"We're going to go eat dinner." Leila said, playing with the necklace around her mom's neck.
"Are we, now?" Rogue asked, looking at Gambit who finally made his way over to the ladies.
"Figure we have a family night out b'fore we leave." He said smiling.
"Sounds good." Rogue said as she looked back at Rikki. "Ah hope Micah feels better. Ah know Hank's takin' good care of him."
"Thank you." Rikki said. "I'm gonna go check on him. Make sure he's gotten enough fluids and kept it down. You guys have a good night and have a safe trip."
"Thanks, hun." Rogue said with a smile as Rikki closed the door to her classroom and walked toward Beast's lab. "Well, were are we goin'?"
"Daddy wants to go to a sit down restaurant." Leila said, looking back at Gambit. "Right?"
"Oui." He said, running his hand up Rogue's back. "Wha' y' in de mood fo'?"
"Ah honestly don't care." She said. "How about that burger place that just opened up not too long ago? Ah hear it's pretty tasty."
"Den le's go." Gambit said, escorting them to the garage.
Getting in the car and buckling up, they head toward the new restaurant. Stopping at a red light Gambit looked back at Leila and saw she was looking out the window and in her own world. He smiled and noticed the light turned green. Hesitating, he looked both ways before easing off of the break and slowly stepping on the gas.
He looked at Rogue when she placed her hand on his right forearm and she gave him a loving smile, making him smile back. Removing his right hand from the wheel, he took her left hand and intertwined their fingers as he continued on toward the burger joint.
They had a good time and even stopped by the ice cream shop before coming home. Leila feel asleep by the time they got home so Gambit took her out as gently as he could so he wouldn't wake her. Heading up to their room, he walked across the hall and lay her on her bed before he got her dressed in a night gown and tucked her in bed. Smiling, he grabbed Freddie and placed him under the covers with Leila before he kissed her forehead and closed her door.
"Still out?" Rogue asked, letting her hair down from the bun she had it in all day.
"Cold." He said with a smile as he watched her fluff her curly hair. "Damn, love t'ose curls, chere."
She chuckled. "So ya've told me." She said, looking at herself in the mirror as she continued to fluff her hair. "Sometimes they're a little too wild."
"Never." He said, coming up behind her and kissing her neck.
Turning around she faced him and looked at his lips. "Not tonight. We've got a early mornin'." She said before she kissed him.
Holding on to her, he kissed her back causing it to heat up quick. She ran her fingers through his hair as he did the same with her before she broke the kiss.
"God damn ya." She joked as she watched him strip from his shirt and sit down on the bed to take his shoes off.
"Can' help it." He said, standing again and stripping from his pants. "Wha' time we wakin' up?"
"Ah was thinkin' three." Rogue said as she started to get undressed. "Gives us time ta wake up and get there and checked in."
Getting into bed, he watched her slip a tank top on before she slid into bed beside him. "Den I set de alarm fo' t'ree." He said as he turned and set it.
"Night, hun." She said, kissing his cheek before she lied down on her left side.
Turning the light out, he moved in closed and spooned her, draping his arm over her waist. After dozing off and falling asleep for some time, he felt the bed jostle and immediately knew it was Leila. Moving away from Rogue, he felt her climb up and get under the covers between them. He smiled as he pulled the covers up and tucked her, and Freddie, in before he closed his eyes and tried to fall back to sleep. Leila was out fast and he heard her lightly snoring. He couldn't help but lie there and listen to the cute sound that made him smile. Closing his eyes again he finally fell back to sleep only to be woken up by the alarm.
Stirring awake, he hit snooze and noticed the two girls waking up. Leila protested as she buried herself under the covers with Freddie as Rogue slowly sat up. Turning on the lamp on her side table, she smiled at the lump under the sheets. Getting out of bed, Rogue pulled her jeans on before she got dressed. Gambit did the same before he pulled the sheets down to see Leila asleep again.
"What time did she get in bed with us?" Rogue asked, running her fingers through her hair.
"Not sure." Gambit answered as he tucked her in. "Midnight?"
"Are we just gonna leave her here?" Rogue asked.
"She be fine. She be sleepin'." Gambit said as he sat down on the edge of the bed and put his shoes on.
"But she ain't gonna get up and go ta school on her own." Rogue said as she walked over and pulled the covers off of Leila before she gently scooped her up. "Ah'm gonna take her down to Logan. Ah know he won't mind."
Heading out of the bedroom and into the dark and cool hallway, Rogue walked down to the second floor and walked back to the end of the hallway. Quietly opening the door, she walked in and over to the bed where Wolverine was snoozing.
"Logan?" Rogue quietly asked. "Hey."
"Mm!" He grunted as he sat up quickly seeing Rogue holding Leila. "What's wrong?"
"Everything's fine." Rogue said. "Ah'm sorry ta wake ya, but can ya get Leila ready for school? Remy and ah are about ta leave on a plane."
"Oh, yeah yeah." He said, taking Leila from Rogue's arms. "No problem at all, kid."
"Thanks." Rogue said, giving Leila's forehead a kiss before she winked at Logan. "We'll see ya when we get back."
"Take care." Wolverine said as Rogue left his room and head back upstairs to her's.
Walking inside, she saw Gambit laying back on the bed with his arms stretched out on either side. Smiling, she walked over and looked at him to see his eyes were shut.
"Ah hope ya ain't asleep." She said, seeing his eyes slowly open.
"Non. Jus' relaxin'." He said as he slowly sat up.
"Liar." She said with a smirk as she grabbed the two suitcases. "Let's get goin'."
Standing, Gambit stretched his arms over his head and blinked sleepily. Still smirking, she placed her hand on the side of his stubbly face and rubbed it.
"Leila keep ya up?" She asked. "Ah didn't even feel her get in tha bed."
"Non, she went righ' t' sleep. Was jus' kinda hard goin' back t' sleep, but finally did." He said, taking one of the suitcases from her.
"Ah'm sorry." Rogue said as they left their room and quietly made their way downstairs. "At least you'll have time ta sleep on tha plane."
"Mm hmm." He agreed as they walked into the garage and got in the convertible.
Pulling out of the school's driveway and on to the road, they made their way to the interstate to get to the airport faster. Ten minutes later, they suddenly hit bumper to bumper traffic.
"What tha hell? It's almost four in tha mornin'." Rogue said as they sat there.
Sighing, Gambit slouched a little in the seat as he crept up, but the car in front of him wasn't moving. "Mmm." He grunted in annoyance.
Rogue looked at him. "Ah hope we catch Betsy's plane." She said, looking behind them to see the cars started to pile up. "There's gotta be a wreck up there."
"Dat's blockin' de whole damn freeway?" He asked.
"Hey." She said, cutting her eyes over at him as twenty minutes passed.
"Ugh!" He sighed as he rest his head back on the head rest. "We gonna miss dat flight."
"Let's keep optimistic." She said, patting his thigh.
"Anna, we been sittin' here fo' a'most t'irty minutes." He said. "We missin' dat flight. Call Betsy. Maybe she can work somet'in' out."
"Dammit." Rogue said, reaching into her pocket and pulling her phone out and pulling Betsy's number up.
Leaning his elbow against the window, Gambit rest his head in his hand as he listened to Rogue.
"Hey Besty. Ah'm so sorry ta be callin' ya at this hour." She said. "No, no, we're fine. We're actually caught in some kinda wreck. Well, behind it ah should say. We haven't moved but a foot in tha last half hour. Ah don't think we're gonna make it ta tha airport."
Looking in her direction, he looked over her face as he tried to listen to their conversation.
"Alright. Ah'll let ya know when we get there. Thanks, hun and ah'm sorry for wakin' ya." She said. "Alright, bye."
"Well?" Gambit asked.
"Well," Rogue said, putting her phone back in her pocket. "We're gonna have ta catch a commercial flight."
"Merde." Gambit cursed as he looked out his window.
"Ah know we've been spoiled, but this is just a one time thing." She said. "Hell, ah hate flying commercial, too."
"So wha' happens when we get t'ere?" He asked, looking back at his wife.
"She's gonna get us tickets to a connecting flight where we'll meet up with her pilot." She said, smiling at Gambit's reaction of disapproval. "It ain't that bad."
"Here, y' take de wheel. I'ma sleep." He said, reclining the chair back.
"Excuse me." She said, pushing the chair back up.
"I be kiddin'." He said with a smile.
Sitting in the silence for ten more minutes, Rogue turned the radio on and found an classic rock station. Taking her seat belt off, she tucked her left leg underneath her as she faced Gambit. She smiled at him when he looked at her and she reached over and took his hand. He smiled back when he felt her gently rub his knuckles with her fingertips.
"I'm gonna fall asleep." Gambit said as he leaned his head back and cosed his eyes. "Y' doin' dat ain' helpin'."
Rogue lightly chuckled as she reached over and placed her hand on the back of his head. "Then ah'd better keep ya awake." She said as she guided him closer to her where she kissed him softly.
Kissing her back, he ran his hand up her right thigh before finding the side of her face. The kiss started to heat up but they were broken from their moment when they heard honking. Looking ahead, they saw traffic had moved up about five car lengths, but they came to a complete stop again.
Putting the car in park again, Gambit turned to Rogue and smirked. "Where were we?" He asked, seeing her move in with a smirk of her own.
"Right here." She said, placing her lips on his.
