Soon enough, Lancex, Ultra Magnus and Skyfire found themselves at the edge of a nearby lake. "I sense she is near here, but I don't see her anywhere. Where could she go?" Skyfire asked, confused. Ultra Magnus shrugged. His spark also indicated that Aquaformer was nearby but he didn't see her either.
"Well, remember she does have the ability to be invisible" Lancex reminded them. Ultra Magnus and Skyfire scanned for an energy signal but found none.
"Man, how could she hide so well in plain site, not even Mirage is this good?" Ultra Magnus asked.
Then Lancex thought of something. "Have you guys checked in the water?"
"In the water?" Magnus asked as if Lancex had grown three heads.
"What makes you think she would go in there?" Skyfire asked gently, not wanting to piss Lancex off, as the bot could be quite the fighter from what Aquaformer had told the shuttle.
"Think of her coloration. Even Mirage's mirages don't hide him this well, as you said" Lancex said, a bit annoyed at all of this, but also getting on his friend's mates in a way most bots didn't dare, save for Ratchet but he was busy.
Ultra Magnus looked confused still while Skyfire realized what Lancex was saying. "You mean, she is under the water?" Skyfire asked. Lancex just looked at the bot with the where else could she be look. Skyfire didn't hesitate to jump in, much to Ultra Magnus' surprise. While she had two mates, it was clear which one showed his was more of a mate to her.
After jumping in, Skyfire scanned around and soon found his mate, shivering and hiding under a rocky cover in the water. It was clear her systems were acting up, though he didn't know that I'd she had been under attack and had water, this was an escape route she had used in the past. Skyfire soon came up with Aquaformer, to the shock of Magnus and not shock of Lancex. "Magnus, I need your help to get her to the med bay. Ratchet needs to check her over" Skyfire commanded. Ultra Magnus didn't argue and soon took off. Lancex followed, wanting to make sure his friend would be okay.
Skyfire took the time to contact Ratchet and inform the medic of what had happened. Ratchet sighed but told the shuttle to bring her in for a check up. Ratchet just hoped that this would be the only time Aquaformer would try this while sparked, but whether that was true would remain to be seen.
