Meanwhile, as Aquaformer was speaking in the med bay to Optimus, Ultra Magnus and Skyfire were not too far outside of the med bay as they wanted to give their mate space, but not be too far away. But where they were was perfect for two bots who were seeming to seek them out. Cosmos was nervous and it showed, as he was much smaller than the other bots around. "Boy, she is moody" Ultra Magnus piped up, while Skyfire shot the bot a look.
"Making fun of her will not make you a good mate to her, Magnus. You need to grow up a bit" Skyfire shot back.
"You Magnus have mate?" Grimlock asked.
Ultra Magnus nodded, seeing the Dinobot was right in Magnus' face. "Yes, Skyfire and I are mates to the sparked Aquaformer" Magnus replied.
"Maybe…maybe you can help us" Cosmos added.
"How can we help?" Skyfire asked, wanting to help.
"Well…. We are drawn to Lancex. Grimlock, Optimus, and I all are drawn to him" Cosmos softly mentioned.
Grimlock was gettting annoyed at the fact the small bot was seemingly beating around the bush. "How me Grimlock and others win him Lancex's spark?"
"Don't baby him too much. Aquaformer kicked us out because we were getting to be too much, apparently" Magnus piped up. Skyfire lightly struck Magnus up side the head, Magnus glared at the shuttle as he rubbed his helm where he had been struck.
"While that is sound advice, it isn't what they were looking for. You see, Lancex is his own bot, with his own thoughts and feelings. Those have to be respected. He has excellent skills in battle, but he may not have great skills in other areas. Those are times he will need to be taught those things. Even if he is a submissive mech who can carry, you can't just force a sparking on him or just act however you wish" Skyfire started, with cosmos already knowing most of this as he was also a submissive mech. "You also have to realize that there are times he won't want to face, where he will just want to be held or listened to. You have to realize that there is more to a spark bond than just interfacing. Communication is key, listening is key. If you want to win his spark, you have to show you are more than just a brute who wants someone else to carry your sparklings." Cosmos was glad to here this even if he was still shaking like a leaf around these bots.
Meanwhile, back in the rec room, Mirage felt himself drawn not to one bot but two, as while he wouldn't have needed a pair of bots, this pair had already bonded and came as a pair, and now they had a bot who could carry their sparklings. Jazz and Prowl couldn't have been any happier.
