15. Edolas

Chapter 15 - Edolas

Edolas

Siegfried groaned, "Menma, I am going to beat you up. Even if you have my face." he said as he strolled through the strange jungle that defied physics.

Somehow after being transported to a strange plain followed by being sent to this strange land. Siegfried found himself lost and wandering around the forest until he found a familiar sight. A strange plant like structure or a literal tree house of sorts. Where he found a familiar symbol and name edged into the doorway. Siegfried was relieved but slightly curious.

"I don't even know how they set this up so quickly, but I'm guessing it took a lot of ingenuity. What can I expect from Fairy Tail?" Siegfried asked as he tried to head in. When he suddenly had another thought, "I better keep an extra pair of eyes out. Clone Magic!" he casts as a clone appeared but quickly died.

Siegfried felt strange, it didn't make any sense. A clone made from mana was more durable and could handle more chakra than a Shadow Clone. So it was more useful despite it's real setback being it's lack of shared memory due to limited memory space. He also debated as to whether it's lack of individuality counted as a pro or a con. Regardless, he couldn't make any magic clones appear for more than a few seconds.

"Menma has answers, I will have to find him later." Siegfried said before making a Shadow Clone and ordering it to hide on a tree branch.

Inside the guild

As usual, it was busy and lively, although things were different and very wrong. Siegfried looked around and wondered if everyone decided to try new fashion trends as well as new personalities.

Elfman was crying while Jet and Droy picked on him.

Cana was dressed like a noblewoman who refuses alcoholic beverages.

Nab was actively picking jobs and running to get them done.

For some reason Levy and Lucy were arguing and ready to fight.

Bisca was in a bikini and apparently openly dating Alzack.

Juvia was ignoring Gray's pleads for a date. Although that wasn't really surprising as Siegfried suggested playing hard to get to Juvia and it was working. Although why was Gray wearing so many clothes and refusing to take them off?

Now the final question was where Makarov is during all this as well as Natsu and the other Dragon Slayers. No wait, there's Wendy. For some reason she's an adult and is very developed around the chest area. Okay something was definitely wrong here.

"Hey armor guy, you new?" asked someone who looked like a skinny Reedus.

"I've returned after many years but not to rejoin." Siegfried said as he took off his helmet.

Suddenly the ruckus stopped and everyone looked at Siegfried. He expected all sorts of reactions, but he didn't expect everyone to still be incapable of saying his first name.

"MENMA!?" Everyone screamed.

'At this point, they're just trying to avoid it.' Siegfried thought.

Suddenly, Siegfried found himself having to hold his gut as Levy punched him very hard. Luckily he had a good pain tolerance as well as armor, but Levy sure did hit hard. He looked down to see the short girl giving him a dirty glare.

"Where have you been you idiot!?" she asked angrily.

Siegfried responded by giving her a chop to the head, "That is the worst way to greet someone." he said earning another glare.

"That doesn't excuse you! You've been gone for two years!" Levy said angrily.

For some reason Levy sounded angry and emotionally hurt. Yet Siegfried put that aside as he looked around for a moment. Everything was wrong and he should have noticed by starting with the fact Wendy was an adult woman. Maybe also the fact that Fairy Tail on it's own can survive a lot of cataclysmic events but lack the capability to create a good shelter so quickly. Oh and, everyone did just call him Menma so that's another detail.

'Am I in Menma's world? He didn't explain much before this happened.' Siegfried thought as everyone was asking him questions.

"Menma you're back!" Mirajane yelled as she ran up to hug Siegfried.

'Okay Mira is still the same but showing off more flesh. Then again, Mira isn't as affectionate.' Siegfried thought just as Mira blushed and let go of him.

"Oh, sorry! It's been a while." Mira said with a sheepish smile. "Where have you been anyways?" She asked.

"Somewhere I shouldn't be." Siegfried answered before noticing a couple of things. "Natsu, Happy, get out of from under there." he said as everyone suddenly noticed those two.

Natsu panicked as he came out, "Oh hey! I was just uh… looking for my contacts." he said.

"Aye sir!" Happy said surprsing them.

For some reason, Lucy tackled him into a chokehold, "So that's where you've been!" she yelled angrily.

"I knew you had a crush on Natsu!" Happy exclaimed.

"Happy you're not helping!" Natsu yelled as he tried to pry Lucy off of him.

Then there was the other thing. The white haired girl in the guild and it wasn't Mirajane. Siegfried knew things were beyond wrong and immediately ripped Natsu out from Lucy's grip.

"We're leaving, this isn't the Fairy Tail we know!" Siegfried exclaimed.

"Aye, Wendy's not that developed." Happy said as Wendy finally noticed the woman who looks like herself as an adult.

"Not fair!" Wendy cried as she felt her chest.

"Wendy, I'll buy you some milk to develop your boob bones later." Siegfried said as he drew Balmung.

"Ah Menma, are you feeling alright!? You don't need to draw your sword!" the man who looked like Macao.

"Yeah, j-just put down the sword!" Elfman pleaded.

Siegfried narrowed his eyes around the crowd before Nab returned. He bursted through the guild's doors with a look of fear on his face.

"Everyone! The Fairy Hunter is here!" Nab shouted.

"Who is that!?" Siegfried demanded.

"That's Nab." Elfman answered only to earn an annoyed expression.

"He meant the Fairy Hunter!" Jet yells at Elfman. "She's this psychopath that's going after all the guilds." he said to Siegfried.

Meanwhile Levy jumped into a seat while working on some machine, "Damn it! I'll try getting the machine ready!" she said.

"Uh guys, I'm still lost." Natsu said.

Suddenly Lucy appeared behind Natsu and held him a headlock, "Don't you get it Natsu! The Fairy Hunter is here and she wants to kill us unless Levy can hurry the hell up and get us out of here!" she yelled.

Natsu screamed in pain, "Let go of me scary Lucy!" he pleaded.

"Oh boy, Lucy is really intense." Happy said as he gathered the attention of the whole guild.

"WHY ARE THERE EXCEEDS HERE!?" one of the guild members screamed in fear.

"Everyone shut up! I need to concentrate before the Fairy Hunter arrives!" Levy yelled.

Siegfried grunted as he walked towards the doors, "Hey where the heck are you going Menma!?" Droy frantically asked.

"Firstly, my name is not Menma, it's Siegfried Naruto." Siegfried said.

"That's a hard name to pronounce. The first part I mean." Mirajane said out loud and for some reason Lisanna looked nervous.

"Secondly, I will hold off the Fairy Hunter while Levy prepares the machine." Siegfried said as he drew put his helmet back on.

"Hey, I don't know what kind of arrogant jackass you became during the past two years, but there is no way you are…" Droy's rant was almost literally cut off by the front of his shirt being ripped in half by a mere flick of Balmung.

"Natsu, guard the building. I won't be too long." Siegfried said as he exited the guild.

Outside

After a few seconds of having just leaving the building. Siegfried saw a blond man in pink armor strut towards him.

"What do we have here? I see Fairy Tail either got their hands on shiny equipment or someone suicidal decided to join them." said the man with an arrogant tone.

"I am the temporary defender of this building." Siegfried said as he tightened his grip on Balmung.

The man shook his head, "You must have been in a cave or something if you think you can take me. Listen here kid, my name is Sugarboy and I'm one of the Captain of the 4th Magic War Division. I don't look like it, but I'm someone you don't want to mess with." he said.

Siegfried merely got into a stance. Sugarboy sighed as if he were an adult having to deal with a bratty child. He drew his sword revealing a double edged sword, contrary to the shape of the sheath it was in. He stretched his shoulders before also getting into a stance.

"Last chance to back out now." Sugarboy said.

Siegfried merely ran up to him, Sugarboy sighed again as he quickly countered. Only to be surprised by Siegfried sliding down and trying to kick him. Sugar Boy suddenly floated a few inches from the ground and moved away before avoiding several heavy strikes and blocking a quick thrust towards his neck before pushign him back. Before even having the chance to say anything, Siegfried dashed at Sugarboy at a high speed that surprised the man.

Sugarboy was lucky enough to block each attack before find an opening and bringing down his sword in an attempt to cleave Siegfried. Siegfried quickly blocked the strike and clashed his blade over his head. Sugarboy struggled with the strength that Siegfried had before giving up and pulling out. Subsequently making Siegfried almost fall and attempting to strike from his back. Only to find a kunai thrown at him which he quickly blocked.

The surprise didn't last too long as Siegfried slashed at his chest and sent him crashing into a tree. Before having to roll out of the way as Siegfried ran up to him at what should have been impossible speeds. Sugarboy was thankful for his own conditioning as Siegfried cut down the tree with ease and in a clean fashion too.

"You're a magic user aren't you? That speed is impossible to gain through normal means!" Sugarboy said with a glare when Siegfried was suddenly in front of him.

"Rock Lee would say otherwise." Siegfried said as he swung his sword from the ground and into the air.

Sugarboy gasped as he was now in the air and tried to recover quickly. He mentally cursed his arrogance and relied on using the little magic he himself had. He attempted to slash at Balmung again only to find a giant bloody gash on his hand followed by his glove breaking. Siegfried took this chance to bring down Balmung into another slash causing Sugarboy to crash back down into the ground.

Sugarboy struggled to stand up but found motivation in moving faster as he rolled away again. As Siegfried brought down Balmung in an attempt to stab him. Further motivating the pink armored knight into striking Siegfried at high speeds with each attack being blocked by Balmung before being shoved away. Sugarboy started to pant as he admitted that this foe was far stronger than he looked.

"What kind of magic is this?" Sugarboy asked.

"I can't use magic. This is purely skill and results of hard work." Siegfried answered as he did not look winded.

"Impossible! There must be a magic tool or spell you have on yourself." Sugarboy said.

Siegfried waved Balmung around, "There isn't, the only unfair thing I have done so far is throwing the kunai." Siegfried replied as he quickly dashed at Sugarboy again.

Who managed to block his sword strike in time as well as being able to parry a few moves and landing several slashes at Siegfried who fell back a couple of feet. Although this appeared to do nothing against Siegfried who merely felt like he got too confident.

'Damn that armor! It must be custom made if Rosa Espada can't turn it into liquid.' Sugarboy thought as he wasn't aware of Siegfried's anti-magic material used to make his armor.

Siegfried quickly came back to him and the two engaged in a display of quick swordsmanship before Sugarboy finally landed a good blow. By stabbing Siegfried and and cutting along the neck area. Only to see him turn into a log of wood that would then turn into liquid.

"What the?" Sugarboy asked before turning around and blocking a kick to the face.

"That makes two, Kawarimi is a good way to deceive a foe." Siegfried said before assaulting Sugarboy with a flurry of kicks and sword slashes.

Before eventually charging his sword with chakra and adding the wind element to it. As Sugarboy was just a second too slow to parry his attack. With the blow destroying his gauntlet and exposing his flesh. Sugarboy let out a scream of pain as Siegfried dug into his arm with Balmung before backhanding him away into the dirt.

"Do you heel or do you wish for more Fairy Hunter?" Siegfried asked.

Sugarboy looked at him with a confused expression, "Fairy Hunter? Are you confusing me with Knightwalker?" he asked before noticing the glow from the guild.

"That's my time to leave. Consider this my act of mercy." Siegfried said before running back inside just as it disappeared.

Sugarboy growled as he struggled to stand on his own. Just as a red haired woman on a large dragon like creature appeared.

"Took you long enough." Sugarboy said.

"You should know better than to fight my prey Sugarboy." the woman said.

"Whatever, they hired a strong mercenary who claims that he can't use magic." Sugarboy said as he clutched his wound.

The woman laughed, "Fool, you got cocky or he caught you when you weren't paying attention." she said.

Sugarboy glared at her, "At least I made it to the guild. Unlike you Erza, what were you doing? Preparing your hair and make up?" he asked.

"Erza" waved him off, "I took my time, but I do admit that I should have moved faster." she said. "Especially when they have someone who can give me a real challenge." she said with an impassive face.

Both unaware of the Shadow Clone who was spying on them. Taking several mental notes to send to his creator before exploding into smoke. This intel would greatly benefit Siegfried but at the same time, confuse him. As this world was filled with many absurd things he would have to research.

Somewhere in the desert, a while later

Siegfried sighed as he closed his eyes and took in the new information. Something was very wrong and Menma needed to explain things to him the next time Siegfried finds him. For now, he had to adjust to the absurd idea that alternate dimensions exist. He only hoped that dimensional travel did not have the same rules as time travel and that he accidentally makes someone disappear in his own dimension. Or is it just another world?

'I'm starting to wish Kaguya left a manual on alternate dimensions. Then again, those portals could have just been glorified Reality Marbles.' Siegfried thought as he sensed people crowding him.

"Is he asleep?" someone asked.

"Maybe he's meditating." someone else said.

"Mira, now's your chance to kiss Menma when he's unconscious!" said someone Siegfried never thought he would see, Lisanna.

However what really woke him up and likely wrote a death warrant was Wendy. Not the child, the adult version who was explaining some things. Unforutnately despite certain circumstances being true and others lacking proper context. Edolas Wendy could not be put at fault for what she said next.

"I don't know how things work for you, but we're a dark guild." Edolas Wendy said as several snapping sounds were heard. "Hey what…" she asked before Siegfried placed Balmung next her throat.

"Then unfortunately, this guild no longer exists." Siegfried said his Sharingan came to life.

"Naruto is going to destroy a dark guild." Happy said.

Natsu already stood at the door, "Well it was nice knowing you guys. If the rumors are true, Naruto is going to blow this place up." he said as Happy was already running after him.

Meanwhile regular Wendy tried to reason with him, "Don't do it Naruto! If you kill adult me, I might never be born!" she exclaimed.

"This is dimensional travel child, not time travel. You could exist regardless of the other one's health." Carla said.

"Oh really?" Wendy said no longer feeling any concern.

"Hey get this guy off of me!" Edolas Wendy pleaded.

A few minutes and a few broken bones later plus a detailed explanation

Most of the guild was unconscious and had swirls in their eyes.

"We're called dark guilds because the government wants to get rid of every guild. We're not criminals, I swear." Edolas Gray said.

"This Menma look alike is overpowered! He even beat the strongest team!" Edolas Wakaba exclaimed.

"Yeah, who knew someone could defeat Team Shadow Gear." Edolas Macao said unaware of how weak Shadow Gear is in Earthland.

Jet and Droy put up the most resistance but they were both unconscious and covered in bruises. As for Levy, she was tied up and hanging from the ceiling. Siegfried did not want to harm Levy even if she was just an inter dimensional counterpart.

"Well if you want us to be honest. Team Shadow Gear isn't necessarily strong and they do have magic." Wendy said with a sheepish smile.

"It could be they lack the hard work that armored brute has." Carla said before she was lifted up by her head.

"And Carla has just volunteered for scouting duty." Siegfried said as Carla panicked.

"Naruto no! Carla's my first real friend! You can't just throw her somewhere Where she can get lost!" Wendy pleaded.

Siegfried gently placed Carla in Wendy's hands, "Fine, but she gets a demotion for a negative attitude. Poor teamwork leads to destruction." he said as he adjusted himself before leaving the guild.

"Are you seriously still considering going out there? I mean you did beat a bunch of us, but we're fodder compared to the armies of the Royal Capital." Elfman said as his sisters both looked worried.

"And you think it's not the first time I've fought an army?" Siegfried asked as a brief red glint appeared in his eyes. 'Damn, I can still feel Soul Edge. I suppose it will break boundaries just to get it's vessel.' he thought.

No one wanted to argue with Siegfried on that even if that sounded really corny and unbelievable. With Natsu following him shortly after he left the building and into the desert plains.

"Don't make stuff up to sound cool Naruto! You never fought an army!" Natsu yelled.

"Natsu I have nothing to prove to you." Siegfried replied making Natsu growl.

'Was I like this? No, I think Kiba was more bothersome. No wait, we're all idiots.' Siegfried thought just as the cats and Wendy ran behind them.

Outside, a few minute later

Siegfried sighed as he removed his armor and stored it in a storage seal, "I was fool to not pack casual clothes." he said.

"Hey Naruto, why are you always wearing fancy clothes?" Wendy asked.

"Because bright orange makes things worse." Siegfried answered.

"Huh?" Wendy asked.

"It's a long story you won't believe Wendy." Siegfried said as he lifted her up and placed her on his shoulder. "Now hang on, you're still small so you need the energy." he said.

Wendy blushed, "I'm not that small. Papa trained me." She said with a pout.

Siegfried smiled, "Oh? He wasn't that helpful when I was a kid." Siegfried said.

"You knew papa too? For how long?" Wendy curiously asked.

Siegfried started thinking it over, "Actually meeting him I would say… 34 almost 35 about this time of year." he answered.

Wendy looked shocked, "How old are you?" she asked.

"Physically or spiritually?" Siegfried asked making Wendy pout again.

"He's lying child." Carla said denying Siegfried's claims.

"And why would I lie?" Siegfried asked.

"Obviously to entertain Wendy's mind when she is so naive." Carla said.

"I doubt a talking cat is credible enough to deny my claim." Siegfried countered.

"I am not a cat!" Carla said with mild annoyance.

"Oh? Are you not a mammal? A carnivorous one to be specific? Are you not a domestic animal with tail and a fur? These are questions you have to consider Carla." Siegfried said making the cat's eye twitch.

"He got you there Carla." Happy said. "Although, she says she doesn't like fish." she said.

"Then the cat is defective. Kurama will have to buy Wendy one that's properly trained and learns to respect others. In other words, a purebread." Siegfried said making Carla turn red.

"Hey that's taking it too far! Don't listen to him Carla my love!" Happy said defending his crush.

"I do not need your help Tomcat! Also, what is that fool doing!?" Carla asked as she saw Natsu chase some sort of pink creature around.

"I'm bringing this back as a gift to Lucy." Natsu said.

"Natsu, most girls prefer jewelry, others prefer fine accessories from the latest brands, quite a few like weapons and there are those who want something of sentimental value." Siegfried explained making Natsu look confused.

"Eh?" Natsu asked.

'Okay, maybe I was more like him than I thought.' Siegfried thought with a sigh.

When suddenly they felt the sand shake and a giant frog like creature appeared. It was no doubt the same species as the creature that Natsu was chasing around. If it wasn't the mother, it conisdered everyone in front of it to be it's prey. Natsu decided it would be a good time to fight and surprisingly, that was the best thing to do in a situation such as this one.

"I got this! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu yelled as he punched the frog only for it's stomach to bounce. "Oh crap." he said.

Siegfried had already put Wendy down when he reached for Balmung. Only to feel all of the sand shake again as something even bigger was coming. Something that already devoured the frog monster's entirety. Before long, they were staring down at a giant tanuki creature made of sand and it did not exactly define friendly with it's appearance.

"What do we have here?" the monster asked.

"REINDEER!" Natsu screamed.

"I AM NOT A REINDEER! I AM TANUKI!" the monster yelled.

Siegfried moved Natsu aside, "Everyone get back, this is Shukaku the Wind Spirit! A dangerous creature from the ninja lands!" he yelled.

"Looks like I got a fan." Shukaku said before paying close attention to Siegfried's face. "Hey, wait a minute!" he said as he remembered his face.

For a brief moment, Shukaku briefly see images of a younger boy with whisker marks and blue eyes. He narrowed his eyes as he tried looking deeper into Siegfried as if he had the ability to see his soul. Although he didn't have Kurama's sensory abilities, he still had Hagoromo's teachings somewhere in his head. With that philosophy of Ninshu and being able to read the hearts of others. One way shinobi did this was to exchange blows and develop a bond or sort of connection of sorts.

Right now, Shukaku sensed only caution instead of hostility. Along with something else going on within him.

"You look familiar." Shukaku said with narrowed eyes.

"And I know, you're one Kurama's more insane siblings." Siegfried replied.

Shukaku scoffed, "I'm better than Kurama!" he claimed.

"No you're not." Siegfried said making him growl.

"You know my papa!?" Wendy asked.

"Who's the brat?" Shukaku asked.

"Wendy Marvel! My papa is Kurama Otsutsuki!" Wendy answered.

Shukaku stayed silent for a moment as to take in what the child just said to his face.

"BWAHAHAHAHA! THERE'S NO WAY A BASTARD LIKE KURAMA WOULD TAKE IN A HUMAN CHILD!" he laughed.

Wendy pouted, "Shut up! My papa is the best papa! He could kick your butt like last time!" she said now remembering Shukaku.

"You think so?" Shukaku asked dangerously.

"Wendy, do you have Kurama's summoning seal?" Siegfried asked.

"Yes." Wendy answered.

"Then you can hopefully summon him. Chakra evolved from spiritual energy." Siegfried said knowing that Kurama trained the girl.

"Really? Then I can summon papa!" Wendy said as Shukaku started to back away.

"What's wrong sandy? Are you scared that Wendy's dad is going to kick your butt!?" Natsu yelled.

"Natsu be quiet." Siegfried commanded.

"No way! I can beat him and I can beat you brat!" Shukaku replied angrily.

"Leave him alone Natsu, we don't have the resources to fight Shukaku. Especially in the desert of all places." Siegfried answered as he didn't want an altercation with the bijuu.

"Pfft, that's right run away." Shukaku said as the group left. "Hey where are you going!?" he asked.

"Leaving, we need to get to the capital." Siegfried answered.

"Bu-but uh… uh…" Shukaku tried to think of something. "What am I supposed to do?" he asked.

"Find peace within yourself and spread that peace to the world." Siegfried answered.

"I don't want to hear no fortune crap! Take me with you!" Shukaku demanded.

"Is he a tsundere or something?" Happy asked.

"I guess he's nothing special after all." Carla said.

Only to see Shukaku follow them, "Come on! I don't like this place! I'm the strongest creature here and it's lonely at the top!" he pleaded as he stumbled towards them.

"Are all of his siblings like this?" Natsu asked.

"Just him apparently. Kurama hates people in general so hearing about Wendy was a surprise." Siegfried answered.

"Can't you all get a giant gourd to put me in? I might have issues if we have to cross those giant floating islands… or maybe a giant ocean!" Shukaku whined.

"That's what he gets for being made of sand." Happy said.

"The next one after him is pure fire, so they all have some weakness." Siegfried answered as Shukaku kept whining.

Much time later

Shukaku was not happy, "You put me in a tea pot!?" he asked.

"My fuinjutsu skills are still lacking, we don't have too many things to store sand in and you don't have power over Ethernano like Kurama. So you can't become a chibi like him." Siegfried answered, but Shukaku did not like the answer.

"My life is a failure, nothing but suffering. I was a mighty beast to be feared and now I'm trapped in a teapot." Shukaku said as Wendy picked him up.

"Don't worry Shukaku-san, you will more safe this way." Wendy said.

"Wendy be careful, that thing made an old friend of mine kill people without remorse." Siegfried answered but Wendy chose to ignore him.

"He's right kid, but Kurama still has worse anger issues." Shukaku said as he sulked in his tea pot.

"I'm sure you both just needed a friend." Wendy answered making Shukaku look surprised.

"Let's go now, it's a long road ahead of and we already have three whiny people on this trip now. I'm not talking about you Natsu, or Happy." Siegfried said as both were about to complain.

"Wait, who are you talking about then?" Natsu asked.

"I'm talking about Lucy who has been following us for the past 20 minutes." Siegfried answered as the blonde revealed herself.

"Scary Lucy!" everyone minus Siegfried said.

"Degenerate Lucy." Siegfried said.

Edolas Lucy grew a tick on her head, "Okay, I was not fine with being called scary, but degenerate is a whole other thing!" she said before running up to Siegfried like a meat head. Where she jumped up and tried to drop kick him, "Special move, number…!"

Siegfried interrupted her by grabbing one leg, "Now I stick the foot in your mouth, tie your hands like a pretzel and pop the discs in your spine like bubblewrap." he said as he did all those things to Lucy.

"Woah! Is she okay!?" Happy asked.

Siegfried shrugged, "It doesn't hurt." he said before hearing Lucy's muffled screaming. "Well I've been hit harder in the back before. So when my taijutsu instructor taught me, it hardly did anything but daze me." he said remembering Rock Lee again.

Siegfried then dropped Lucy who was trying to untangle herself, "You know Natsu, I think this Lucy is better for you. The other one is so uptight." Happy said.

"I have to agree, someone this brash and aggressive is a match-made in heaven for you." Siegfried added.

"Yeah and Lucy-san from our world would not get as mad with you." Wendy said.

Natsu tried to hide the blush, "Regular Lucy is perfect the way she is!" he said angrily.

Siegfried suddenly put a hand on his shoulder, "You are a good person Natsu. Always sticking up for your mate despite her flaws. Especially when those flaws are not toxic." he said giving him a thumbs up while maintaining an expressionless face.

"She's not my mate!" Natsu yelled with a red face.

"Not yet anyways!" Happy said just to embarrass Natsu.

"MMMMMPH!" Lucy screamed through her foot.

"Who thinks I should keep her that way?" Siegfried asked. Everyone but Carla raised their hands, "Then it's settled." he said.

Louen

Lucy Ashley, Edolas Lucy's full name, was not happy. She was tied up with rope and forced to hang over Natsu's shoulder during the whole walk. They were planning to send her back to Fairy Tail, but she said they needed a guide. Siegfried did not trust this Lucy's aggressive behavior and decided to leave her tied up until they arrived at a nearby city called Louen.

"Here we are, now let me go!" Lucy Ahsley demanded.

"Okay." Natsu said as he dropped Lucy.

"She said to let her go, not drop her." Happy said making Natsu fix his mistake.

"Good now…" Natsu lifted her over his shoulder again after untying her. "Don't pick me up again!" Lucy yelled before being dropped again. "Or drop me again either!" she adds.

"What do you want from me scary Lucy!?" Natsu asked.

"Stop calling me that!" Lucy said angrily.

"Natsu, stop arguing with Degenerate Lucy. She needs to help guide us." Siegfried interrupted.

Lucy glared at Siegfried, "And you! I don't know what the real Menma is like but I don't like you calling me a degenerate." she said sounding very annoyed.

"Stop arguing! We can't reach our friends at this rate!" Wendy pleads.

"Let's go already! I'm starving and there was no food at the guild." Natsu said as he ran down into the city.

"Don't just rush in there! Louen is crawling with the royal army!" Lucy yelled as she ran after him.

Inside of Louen

Siegfried kept his guard up and occasionally tapped into sensory skills to make sure he wasn't being followed. While it could be argued that Siegfried is being his paranoid self, Lucy was doing something similar in terms of watching out for every corner. Along with looking at anyone seemingly shadow or catching glimpses of them.

"So no one can use magic?" Natsu asked.

"Of course not, it's like we said at the guild. The kingdom tried to wipe us out." Lucy answered.

"But that doesn't explain why no one can use magic." Wendy said.

"I don't know the details of how your world does it, but here we have to store it. So we have to use magic tools and those are hard to come by since they're outlawed." Lucy explained as she lead them to a secret shop.

"I see, unlike traditional magic like with mana. Ishgar uses Ethernano which is the same, but with a different term and process." Siegfried started to explain. "Magic is already stored inside you, but I think a wizard typically needs to take some from the atmosphere. I can't remember the details anymore, but it's sort of like a furnace." he explained to the best of his ability.

"So the magic is the wood needed to build heat?" Wendy asked.

"That's it, so I doubt Edolas grants that ability since there is no magic in the atmosphere." Siegfried answered.

"I'm confused." Natsu said.

"Magic is magic Natsu. There is no magic so you can't use magic." Siegfried said.

"What?" Happy and Carla asked, sounding very confused.

"Oh that makes sense." Natsu said making the cats face fault.

"Wait, but can we still use jutsus?" Wendy asked.

"Yes, chakra is spiritual energy that was changed by humans to be weaponized. For some reason they thought it would make peace." Siegfried answered.

"You cannot be arming people if they have the mentality of a child." Carla said seeing why the concept of ninshu failed.

"Kurama can vouch for that. He's witnessed human stupidity. I swear, his love for his father kept him from annihilating a civilization." Siegfried said surprising Wendy.

"Papa wouldn't do that, would he?" Wendy asked.

"At his full power, Kurama has been said to cause tsunamis and shatter mountains just by flicking his tails." Siegfried answered, further surprising Wendy of her adoptive father's true power.

"Cool! Now I wanna fight him and his shaman magic!" Natsu said.

"Of course you do Natsu." Happy said as he sweat dropped.

"Hey, enough chit chat! We're here!" Lucy said as she lead them inside.

A few minutes later, at a cafe

Natsu took a peak at his newly purchased weapon. Only for Lucy to scold him and tell him to put it away. Which passed onto Wendy who had a weapon as well. But not Siegfried as he had no need for such things as he had a few skills in fighting without power.

"You know, if you let me out. I could beat everyone in one hit!" Shukaku said from his pot.

"Shukaku no! We might hurt someone innocent in the process!" Wendy said.

"Augh! You're lame, since you're Kurama's daughter. That makes you my niece. Now I have a lame niece." Shukaku grumbled before Siegfried poured hot water on him, making him scream in pain.

"You're lame you psychotic reindeer." Siegfried said.

"I AM A TANUKI! DO I LOOK LIKE I HAVE ANTLERS!" Shukaku screamed before Lucy poured hot water on him as well.

"Shut up you stupid sand thing. We don't need attention!" Lucy said berating the bijuu.

"Ignore him, how far are we from the capital?" Siegfried asked.

"I would say we're west from it. It's going to take 10 ten days on foot unless we get our hands on a transport of some kind." Lucy answered.

Natsu groaned, "Naruto, don't you have a fancy motorcycle you can summon or something?" he asked.

Carla rolled her eyes, "How exactly would he…"

"My order hasn't arrived yet." Siegfried answered, confirming that he had some sort of personal vehicle being made.

Carla face faulted, "Maybe I should stay silent during this whole trip." she said.

"I guess now I can talk for the both of us." Happy said making Carla already regret her decision.

"Hey speaking of which, what is the Lucy from your world like?" Lucy asked.

Natsu chuckled, "In Naruto's words, not a degenerate." he says making Lucy growl.

Carla sighed, "That does not even sound remotely…"

"That is very accurate Natsu." Siegfried interrupted making Carla face fault.

Lucy's eye twitched, "I wouldn't mind more information." she said.

Siegfried thought it over, "It's too hard to put it into words." he said before reality appeared as if it flickered on and off.

"What's happening?" Lucy nervously asked.

Flashback 1

Lucy found herself sitting on a bed and saw her other self and Siegfried talking, "What is this?" she asked.

Earthland Lucy cried tears of joy, "Thank you so much for the seals." she said.

"Seals?" Edolas Lucy asked.

"Your welcome Lucy, now all that's left is this window and everything should be updated." Siegfried said just as Natsu crashed into the window.

"Hey what's the big idea!? Can't a guy visit his teammate!?" Natsu asked angrily.

"Breaking and entering is not the same as visiting." Siegfried said before double locking the window.

"Hey can you make a seal to keep my manuscript safe by any chance?" Earthland Lucy asked.

Edolas Lucy bursted out laughing, "HAHAHA! I'M WRITING A BOOK!?" she asked.

Flashback 2

Edolas Lucy stopped laughing, "Okay, where am I now?" she asked.

"So how's the book Lu-chan?" Levy asked.

"I think I'm making a lot of progress and saving a lot more time now that no one can break into my apartment." Earthland Lucy said.

"No F***ing way! Why am I friends with Levy!?" Edolas Lucy asked angrily.

Meanwhile Natsu and Gray were trying to fight Siegfried who knocked them out, "You two need to learn patience." he said.

"WHY IS GRAY HALF NAKED!? HE'S ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING COLD!" Edolas Lucy asked.

"Beloved!" Juvia cried out as she tried nursing Gray back to health.

"Leave me along Juvia." Gray said.

"Juvia cannot do that!" Juvia argued.

"NOW JUVIA IS CHASING AFTER GRAY!?" Edolas Lucy asked. "Okay, calm down. What else is new?" she asked.

"Cana, you should put on a shirt and maybe drink less." Siegfried said grabbing Edolas Lucy's attention.

"Bah! I'm more fun when I'm drunk and the shirt is just going to get dirty anyways." Cana said sounding drunk.

Edolas Lucy was twitching, "What kind of sick place is this?" she asked.

Flashback 3

Edolas Lucy now found herself outside, "Fine, whatever! I saw a drunk Cana, a half nude Gray and a yandere Juvia. What's next? Is Lexi Dreyar a man in this dimension?" she asked.

Suddenly she saw a chid Siegfried struggling to stop a carriage until it came to a halt, "Phew, don't worry miss. I stopped the carriage." he said before struggling to open the door.

When he did, a child version of Lucy came out, "Thank you!" she said happily.

"Your welcome miss, but now I gotta go back to Fairy Tail before grandpa gets worried." Siegfried said.

"Fairy Tail? What's that?" little Lucy asked.

Siegfried looked at Lucy as if she was a caveman, "You've never heard of Fairy Tail!? It's like the best guild in all of Fiore!" he exclaimed before hearing the clock tower go off. "AH! I gotta go!" he said.

"Wait, you never told me your name!" Lucy called out before her maids came.

"Miss Lucy, are you alright?" a maid asked.

"Yes, thanks to a boy from something called Fairy Tail." Lucy answered.

"Fairy Tail? The local wizard guild?" the maid asked.

"Wizard guild." Lucy murmured to herself before finding the old guild building.

Edolas Lucy raised a brow, "Have they known each other for a long time?" she asked.

End of flashbacks

Lucy shook her head and noticed that she was back at the cafe, "What was…"

"I would say, she has an attitude but that's just from being a normal teenager with a regular upbringing." Siegfried interrupted.

"Lucy has a giant mansion and she has this city next to it! She said it's her backyard!" Natsu yelled.

Lucy sighed, 'I guess I should keep it to myself.' she thought when suddenly Siegfried stood up.

"We're surrounded!" he yells as he draws Balmung.

"Crap!" Lucy curses as she sees the Royal Army had found them.

"There they are!" the lead guard yelled.

Natsu fumbled with his magic tool, "How do I use this!?" he asked as his tool lit on fire. Before turning off about a few seconds later, "What happened!?" he asked.

"You can't use it for that long! Magic is super limited!" Lucy yelled.

"CHARGE!" the commander ordered.

*SWISH SLASH*

Siegfried cut down half of them with a few sword blows, "You may have skills against magic users, but like most wizards. You don't train your bodies." he said before blocking the next few strikes. "Wind Cutter." he yells as he blows away more guards with a quick sword swipe.

"Yeah! I can just use my fists!" Natsu yells as he jumped over three guards who charged him. "Regular Dragon Kick!" he yelled as he kicked away the three guards.

"I can help too!" Wendy said as she messed with her magic tool.

"Child don't do that!" Carla said before Wendy created a tornado that sucked everyone in.

Another part of town

Siegfried quickly stood up and looked around for more guards, "I think we're safe for the moment." he said.

"Hey let me go!" said a female voice.

"I spoke too soon." Siegfried said as he looked around the corner.

"My papa is going to kick your butt when he gets here!" yelled a familiar voice.

"Filo!" Siegfried yells as he runs towards the voices.

"Naruto come back!" Wendy yelled.

When Siegfried found the source of the screaming. He found Filo and Lucy being dragged by royal guards. Siegfried had no time to stand around and thrusted his sword with great speed and accuracy.

"Quick Sword!" he yells, surprising every guard in the vicinity.

Once free, Filo recongized Siegfried, "Papa!" she cried out as she hugged his leg.

"Filo, how did you get here!?" Siegfried asked sounding frantic.

"A man that looks like you gave me a weird piece of candy and one to Lucy too." Filo said.

Siegfried did not like how she phrased that, "Just Lucy? What about your mothers?" he asked.

Filo shrugged, "I've only been with aunt Lucy." she said.

"Aunt Lucy? She's not that old." Siegfried said.

"I keep telling her that and she won't listen." Lucy said with a sad face.

"You're aunt Levy's friend, so you're aunt Lucy!" Filo said just as more guards arrived.

"Filo get behind me!" Siegfried commanded as he prepared for yet another fight.

"Filo can fight too!" Filo said as she transformed.

"Me too! Let's go Scorpio!" Lucy said as Scorpio appeared.

"What?" Siegfried asked with wide eyes.

In that split second of surprise. Filo repeatedly kicked several guards while Scorpio blasted the rest of them away with his sand before disappearing.

"Filo, you and Lucy can use magic?" Siegfried asked.

Filo nodded happily, "And I beat those mean people too!" she exclaimed just as everyone else arrived.

"Hey I heard fighting! Did you take them all up!?" Natsu asked.

"Guys! You're here and… with me!?" Earthland Lucy asked before being surprised by her Edolas counterpart. "Well this explains why the other guy called himself Menma." Lucy said with a shocked face.

Later that night, hotel

Siegfried gently helped Filo put on some pajamas he required through dirty means. Not that anyone needed to know. Especially since he felt like a bad person considering the fact that this city did not look wealthy.

"Filo, thinking about it. What happened to the shoes I bought you?" Siegfried asked.

"I don't like shoes papa." Filo answered.

"Filo, you should wear shoes. You might get hookworm or something and then you will get sick." Siegfried tried to explain before Edolas Lucy (E. Lucy) appeared in her towel.

"So did you guys make up a plan?" E. Lucy asked.

"Hey! Don't walk around half naked!" Original Lucy (O. Lucy) exclaimed.

"Why? You don't want to offer a peak?" E. Lucy asked as if she was flirting with Natsu and coercing O. Lucy into joining.

"Hell no!" O. Lucy yelled.

Then Natsu laughed, "Hey you guys can wash each other's backs!" he says.

"Hey you know what else? You have Gemini now, so you can make three identical Lucy's." Happy pointed out.

"Who?" E. Lucy asked.

"Gemini, one of my spirits who I'm contracted with." O. Lucy answered as she summoned her spirit.

"What's up?" Gemini asked, now in Lucy's form.

"WOAH!" E. Lucy shouts in surprise.

"Three Lucy's!" Happy exclaimed.

"Hey Naruto, can't you transform too?" Wendy asked.

Siegfried used a henge and transformed into an armored version of Lucy, "Okay that's actually cool." O. Lucy said.

Then Siegfried proceeded to wave around Balmung before throwing it in the air. Making it spin a few times before coming down. Where he held down it's sheath and caught it perfectly without injury to himself or anyone around him.

Filo giggled, "Normal Lucy, Scary Lucy, Gemini Lucy and finally Awesome Lucy!" she said.

"How come I'm not Awesome Lucy!?" E. Lucy, O. Lucy and Gemini asked.

Natsu decided to inspect Siegfried while he was still in Lucy's form, "You know Lucy, you might get a date if you wear some armor." he said before being kicked in the face by Siegfried.

"If there is anything I hate besides dark mages. It's perverts and you being Erza's brother figure, you inherited her perverse thoughts." Siegfried said as Natsu recovered. "Now then, put on some clothes you perverts!" he shouts as he threatens them with Balmung.

"You should be Super Scary Lucy!" both Lucy's yelled as they ran back to change their clothes.

Siegfried sighed as he returned to normal, "Now then, I can try to work out a plan for tomorrow." he said.

"OW!" Natsu complained. "Do you need to hit me so hard!?" he asks with a glare.

"Yes, knowing Erza tried to educate you. She put in some bad materials in there as well." Siegfried answered, thinking Erza filled Natsu with perverted thoughts.

The next day

"SHE STIFFED US!" O. Lucy yelled.

Natsu struggled to open his eyes as his teammate woke him up, "Wha- what happened?" he asked.

"The other Lucy abandoned us in the middle of the night and left us withe the bill!" Lucy answered angrily.

Siegfried sighed, "I knew she was a degenerate. Though to be fair, I'm one as well." he said.

"What makes you say that?" Natsu asked as Siegfried reached into his pocket.

With Edolas Lucy

Edolas Lucy sighed, "It's not the right thing, but I'm not risking my life for them. Hopefully my Natsu has enough magic in his car to get them close to the royal capital and get back." she said to herself. "That and I'm glad the other me summoned that hairstylist to cut my hair." she said as she reached for her shorter hairstyle.

As Edolas Lucy continued her journey back to the guild's new location. She felt her stomach rumble and realized she has not eaten breakfast. Only as she was deciding whether or not to make a pit stop to eat something. She realized that her pockets were light.

"You have to be kidding me! Is one of them a kleptomaniac!?" she asked as she turned red from rage.

Back with everyone else

Natsu and Lucy were laughing their butts off, "Instant karma!" they both yelled.

"Papa, why did you steal from mean Lucy?" Filo asked.

"Filo, just do as I say. Not as I do." Siegfried replied before packing up everything.

"Yeah ignore the criminal behavior. That's what I call parenting." Shukaku said sarcastically.

"You look thirsty." Siegfried said as he poured hot water onto the tanuki.

"AHHHHHH!" Shukaku screamed.

Outside, a while later

After having made their plans as to how to get to the Royal Capital. The group stopped and saw an airship landing nearby. Prompting them to think of a plan to steal the airship and fly all the way to the capital. They only had to worry about the guards and make it to the airship before it has a chance to leave without them.

"Okay, we'll do this quietly. I can try and use a genjutsu to put them into ignorant bliss and try to take out anyone still conscious. While the rest of you just run towards the airship." Siegfried explained.

"Let's just knock them out! Lucy can use a spirit to get by." Natsu suggested.

"Natsu we can do this quietly without any risks." Siegfried said.

"I don't have time for that! Just do it Luce!" Natsu demanded.

"Uh okay!" Lucy said.

"No don't!" Siegfried yelled.

"Open! Gate of the Lion!" Lucy said as she used Leo's key, only for Virgo to appear instead. "Virgo?" she asked.

"I'm sorry but big brother is busy on a date. So I will be here in his stead." Virgo said before looking at Siegfried's disgusted face.

The very same one when pink haired people are around.

"I regret saving him." Siegfried said.

Lucy smirked as she came up with the perfect revenge plot, "Virgo before you attack those guys. Tell Aquarius that Leo made Naruto super angry." she said.

"I have no idea why Aquarius would care, but I will do it for a punishment!" Virgo said unaware of who will really be punished.

"Damn it, I got distracted. Don't…!"

Virgo already dug herself into the ground and popped out from under the royal army. Prompting another fight to break out with Filo turning into a bird and Natsu just running in followed by Wendy trying to figure out how to use her magic tool.

"Child, why did you even get that?" Carla asked.

"It looked cute." Wendy answered.

"There should be more to a purchase than something looking cute." Carla said with a disappointed look on her face.

Unfortunately while this fight went on. The airship started to take off.

Lucy groaned, "I should have listened to Naruto." she said as Siegfried ran after the airship.

"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Siegfried yells as several dozen clones appeared to dispatch the guard while he made a beeline for the airship. "Wood Style: Binding Grip!" he cals out as a large wooden hand came from the ground to grab the airship by the tail end.

"Hurry Naruto!" Natsu yelled.

"I would not have to do this if you listened to my plan!" Siegfried yelled.

"Okay I'm sorry! I'll listen next time!" Natsu apologized before the airship broke off from the tail.

Due to the enormous pressure and bad grip from the Mokuton. The airship escaped only to lose the tail end and subsequently crashed into the nearby ground. Followed by a loud and fiery explosion signaling it's destruction.

"That one is only halfway my fault." Siegfried said as his clones were now surrounded by reinforcements. "Damn!" he cursed as he started cutting down more royal guards.

"What now?" Natsu asked.

"Is there another airship on the way?" Wendy asked.

"I doubt it! We need to escape the army's sight!" Siegfried said as more started coming only for a giant dust cloud in the distance appeared.

"What is that?" Happy asked as the dust cloud revealed itself to be a vehicle.

When the door opened, it revealed a pink haired boy with goggles, "Get in!" he ordered.

"Who is that!?" Lucy asked only to be tossed inside with everyone.

"Worry about it later." Siegfried said.

"Don't let him get away again!" a commander yelled.

Siegfried went through a few hand seals before slamming his palms down, "Earth Style: Earth Wall!" he calls out a barrier to stop the soliders in their tracks before jumping into the car and escaping.

"Thanks for that stranger, but who are you?" Lucy asked curiously.

The boy grinned, "Just a friend of Lucy, the other one I mean." he answered.

Siegfried sighed, "A version of Natsu that doesn't have motion sickness." he said surprising everyone.

"How do you know?" Wendy asked.

"Look at him Wendy." Siegfried answered making Wendy sweat drop before noticing that Natsu got sick.

"You better not vomit in my ride." Edolas Natsu said.

At the same time, at Fairy Tail

Lisanna was staring deeply into the same table she was cleaning over and over again. To the point that she was earning looks of concern from Mirajane.

"Something wrong Lisanna?" Mirajane asked.

"Nothing sis, just thinking about that otherworldy craziness or whatever." Lisanna said referring to Earthland Fairy Tail.

Mirajane waved it off, "I'm sure everyone will be okay. So don't worry about it." she said.

"You were all excited to see Menma though." Lisanna said with a smirk.

Mirajane blushed, "Stop making things up Lisanna!" she said before running back to the bar area.

Lisanna giggled for a moment before looking back at the table, 'So that's Naruto? He's big… but he's not the same.' she thought sadly.

Flashback, several years ago

It was a stormy and rainy day. Mirajane was doing her best to hang onto Lisanna and Elfman as they braved the storm. It was difficult for small children to handle such horrible weather. By then, the Strauss siblings made their way to a forest in Magnolia. They were exhausted, terrified, hungry and no doubt going to be sick. With the only hope being able to continue moving what Lisanna thought at the time was a maelstrom.

When the worst looked like it was far from over. Lisanna's ears perked up as she heard music in the distance. Some sort of horn or whistle was being played. Lisanna was not sure what it was, but it was music. Even Mirajane could hear it and it motivated her to go towards that direction in hopes that it would lead to shelter.

When the Strauss siblings found the origin of the music. They saw a strange hut in the middle of the forest with bright lights inside. Lisanna and Elfman were rather anxious about bothering a stranger as their magic usually scared people away and forced them to scavenge for survival. But Mirajane still took the chance and hit the door with all her might. When she stopped, she saw a little boy with blond spiky hair standing at the door way.

"C-Can I help you miss?" The boy asked.

"Please let us in! I beg you! My sister and brother are cold and sick and… and… and we just want to stay somewhere just for the night or until the rain stops! Please!" Mirajane frantically begged.

"Siegfried, who is that the door?" asked a pink haired mage.

"Granny, this girl and her brother and sister want to stay so they don't get sick." the boy answered.

The woman sighed, "Very well." she said as Lisanna and Elfman ran inside.

A while later

Mirajane was already in a bed panting from a fever she caught, "You strained yourself young lady. You must have put up a fight to make it this far. Where are you parents anyways?" the mage, soon to be recognized as Porlyusica, had asked.

"Gone… they're gone…" Mira said in between pants.

Porlyusica looked solemn for a brief moment, "I am sorry to hear that." she said before leaving her side.

Then Siegfried appeared, "Hi miss, I'm Siegfried Naruto. What's your name?" he asked with a friendly face.

"Mirajane…" Mira answered.

"Nice to meet you Mirajane." Siegfried greeted.

"What kind of name is that? Sicker, Seeker, Sickman?" Mirajane asked.

"Siegfried Naruto!" Siegfried repeated.

"I'll just call you Naruto. Your name is too hard." Mirajane said.

Siegfried pouted, "Then I'll call you Mira-chan." he replied.

Mirajane sighed as she thought of him as a dumb kid, "What was that music anyways? Is there a record player around here?" she asked.

Siegfried smiled as he pulled out his instrument, "It's an ocarina. Do you want me to play it?" he asked excitedly.

Mirajane sighed again, "Not…"

"I wanna hear it!" Lisanna said.

"Me too!" Elfman said making Mirajane groan.

"Okay, let me warm up first." Siegfried said before playing.

End of flashback

Lisanna smiled, 'It was always your favorite song Mira.' she thought before moving onto the next table.

With Siegfried's group

Siegfried reached into his pocket and grabbed his wallet. As he opened up the old leather thing. He slid out some photos he kept in one of the pockets and gazed at them during the ride.

"Papa what's that?" Filo asked as she pointed at what looked like a family photo.

Siegfried smiled, "This is everyone from the guild a few years ago. See, here's mama Erza, here's uncle Gildarts, aunt Levy, Cana is here too, Jet and Droy are here, and mama Mira when she was scary with uncle Elf before he was more of a man. Look, even Natsu and Gray are fighting here too." he said.

"But who's that?" Filo asked as she pointed at a girl standing next Mirajane.

(Re Zero OST - Abyss)

Siegfried frowned and without noticing that look. Natsu, Wendy and Lucy took a peak at the small photo. Lucy thought the girl was vaguely familiar, Wendy didn't recognize them at all and Natsu frowned before looking away. Happy and Carla peaked over Siegfried's shoulder. The former being the only one who looked saddened.

"Tell me papa, is she one of my aunts?" Filo asked happily.

Siegfried tried to smile again, "She is Filo, that's… that's your aunt Lisanna." he said not noticing Edolas Natsu's curious look. "She's the sister of your mama Mira and uncle Elf." He answered.

"Aunt Lisanna? But where is she? Why haven't I met her?" Filo asked.
