Dan, Severus and Regulus looked at each other. All three had in one hand a hair and in the other a vial. Severus shuddered as he drank the concoction and he felt his face wobble and change. Regulus hands him the fake glasses that they had made. Severus transforms each of their robes to fit the gryffindor robes. "Come on Padfoot, Moony, it is time to catch some Slytherins," Severus drawls.

"Ai, Sev," Regulus says happily.

Severus glares backwards into the faces of Black and Lupin. "We do not want to be found out. Keep to those stupid nicknames they use and use stupid prank spells like your brother would."

Regulus rolls his eyes.

When they find Mary, she had already been cornered by Andrew and Rabastan and was walking in front of them. Her Hogwarts robe was missing, revealing her in only underclothes. "You liked flying, didn't you?" Andrew leered at her. "Betcha can't wait to get to some great heights in this snow storm." Rabastan barked a short laugh. Mary was trying to fight the curse, but found her body not able to listen to her as it already was listening to Andrew.

"Oi, what do you think you Slimy Slytherins are doing," Severus roared angrily.

Regulus flicked the first jinx at them. "Yeah, leave Mary alone! Tarrantallegra."

In a bored fashion Andrew stopped the jinx and turned around. "Maybe, Potter, Mary prefers our company, don't you Mary?" Mary nods slowly and a smile is plastered to her face. "I would have thought that as a head boy you would no longer attack innocent students? What would Dumbledore say?" Andrew then sniggeringly continues to walk along with Mary and Rabastan.

For a second Regulus, Severus and Dan share an unsure look. "I don't trust you Mulciber," Severus roars. "Inflatus! Brachiabindis, Levicorpus!"

Regulus and Dan next to him also start sending off hexes. Then Regulus is able to bind Rabastan and Severus is able to levitate Andrew by his ankle. A malicious grin spreads on Andrews face. "Are you sure Potter that you would like to continue?" Andrew then laughs loudly, as Mary again starts walking. After a second she starts sprinting. Dan knocks him out with a knockbback curse. Still Mary is sprinting and almost around the corner.

Regulus, Dan and Severus start sprinting after her. Regulus is in front. As they run through some corridors they arrive at the grand hallway, where they are just in time to feel an icecold breeze and see a few snow flakes float and dissapear that are blown inside. The broom cupboard is left open and Regulus quickly grabs the first one he sees and flies upwards. Dan and Severus follow Regulus outside without brooms. It is freezing cold. Mary is flying higher and higher, becoming smaller and smaller and then suddenly stops, stands up on the broom, holds her arms up wide and then lets herself fall.

Regulus started diving towards her, but Mary was falling fastly and the stormy weather blew him off track from his pursuit.

Severus looks horrified. Had he made things worse? Had he killed her by not joining in on the prank?

"Arresto momento" Dan shouted next to him, though Severus barely heard it above the blowing wind.

Quickly Severus also drew his wand. "Arresto momento," he screamed as loud as his voice allowed it as if screaming it louder made it more effective. Mary did seem to fall slower now and Regulus was catching up to her now.

Then..

Regulus caught her.

The sudden weight on the broom caused it to change direction and they hit the snow together.

Severus and Dan started running towards them. Mary was lying on top of Regulus, who thanks to the polyjuice potion still looked like Sirius. She was crying and Regulus was looking flustered. Severus helped both of them up. Regulus then started putting off his robe and put it onto a shivering, snivelling Mary. It was clear that Mulciber's spell had been lifted the moment she had let herself fall from the broom. Regulus gently pushed her back towards the castle. Severus cast a heating spell on all of them. As Mary felt the effect of the heating spell, she looked as if she wanted to give Regulus' cloak back, however Regulus waved it away. "Keep the cloak," Regulus murmered.

"I didn't mean to. I tried to fight, but my body listened to his commands and-" Mary stammered.

"We'll get you to the hospital wing," Regulus said soothingly, while steadily and gentily pushing her towards the hospital wing, knowing there was not much time before the polyjuice potion would wear out.

Severus froze up when Mary suddenly clamped onto him. "James, can you please get Lily for me? And tell Dumbledore. I just.. I don't want to.."

"Shh," Regulus soothed. "James will go get her. Come on, let's get you there." Regulus then gave him a sharp look. Severus then ran towards the great hall, till he was around the corner, then he turned to another corridor, back towards the dungeons, where he waited impatiently. Then not much later his face started to twitch and itch. With his wand he touched his robes that turned green and he vanished his glasses. As he looked up, he saw Dan and Regulus running around the corner.

"Ready?" Dan asked them.

Both nodded in turn. Then Dan turned Regulus and Severus into slimey snakes and used a few dungbombs to knock them all out..
