Chapter 11: A Young Girl's Dream

The alarm clock blared, and I shot up in bed with a start. I ran into the bathroom and stood in front of my mirror, running a hand through her hair as she double-checked her appearance. It wasn't like her to be so concerned with how she looked, but today was different. Her friend Tanya was finally back from the hospital and joining them at the dorms after a long absence. Excitement bubbled up in my chest, but I hesitated to show it, knowing full well that I was bad at expressing my feelings without music.

"Get it together, Kyoka," I muttered to myself, running a hand through my disheveled hair and adjusting my outfit. I took one last look in the mirror before leaving the room.

The lounge was buzzing with activity as students made their way downstairs, chatting and laughing while I stood in a corner, quietly observing. It felt like an eternity waiting for Tanya, but I knew she was worth it. She had been through so much, and I couldn't wait to see her again.

"Hey, Kyoka!" Tanya's voice suddenly called out, snapping me back to reality. I whipped around to find her walking back in from the front door, glistening with sweat from her morning run. My eyes darted away from the mangled scar on her neck and the dim, flickering light of her quirk, trying not to stare.

"Hey, Tanya! You're back! How was your run?" I asked, forcing a smile and trying to keep my voice steady. I didn't want her to think I was uncomfortable or pitying her because of her injuries.

"Great! It feels good to be back and moving again," Tanya replied, wiping her brow with a towel and grinning. "I've missed everyone here, especially you, Kyoka."

My chest tightened at her words, and I fought to keep my composure. "I've missed you too, Tanya. We all have."

"Thanks," she said, her eyes briefly meeting mine before looking away. "I know I can be… difficult sometimes. But it means a lot to have friends who care."

"Of course," I replied, trying to keep my voice level. "You're a part of our family here, Tanya. We'll always be here for you."

"Kyoka, you've always been so understanding," Tanya said softly. "I don't know what I would do without you."

My face flushed red as my heart raced. I wanted to say something reassuring, but all that came out was a choked, "Me too."

"Come on," Tanya said, looping her arm through mine and pulling me toward the group. "Let's go catch up with everyone else."

As we walked together, I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and happiness enveloping me. Despite everything she had been through, Tanya was still standing tall, determined to overcome any obstacles in her path. And I knew that, no matter what challenges the future held, we would face them together.

The lounge buzzed with excitement as everyone caught up with each other, the air filled with laughter and chatter. I stood next to Tanya, trying to focus on the conversations around us, but my mind kept wandering back to her. Her presence was like a magnetic force that drew me in, and every time our eyes met, my heart skipped a beat.

Suddenly, Momo and Mineta, who had been joking around moments before, locked eyes and began making out passionately right there in the center of the room. The sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard, and a stunned silence fell over the lounge.

"Uh, what's going on?" I muttered under my breath, my cheeks flushing red at the sight.

Tanya just shrugged, seemingly unfazed by their public display of affection. "I guess they're really into each other?"

As Momo and Mineta continued to kiss, Izuku's eyes widened in shock before he let out a determined yell. He ripped off his shirt, revealing a muscular physique that seemed to grow more powerful by the second. Within moments, he towered at eight feet tall, his newfound strength rippling through his veins.

"Midoriya?!" Tanya exclaimed, her eyes practically bulging from their sockets.

"Is this some kind of prank?" I wondered aloud, my pulse quickening with every bizarre twist and turn.

Ochako let out a scream of ecstasy, but as her flesh began to fall away, she revealed herself to be none other than a cat-like girl with messy buns for hair. her eyes flashed dangerously with a bloody knife appearing in her hand. My stomach churned at the horrifying sight, and panic set in as everyone started making out with each other. The lounge was no longer a safe haven—it had become a battleground of twisted desires.

"Wait, what the hell is happening?!" I shouted, feeling panic rise within me. My mind raced as I tried to make sense of the surreal scene unfolding before my eyes.

"Kyoka, I don't know, but we need to get out of here!" Tanya yelled, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the door.

Before we could escape, though, it seemed like everyone in the room had lost their minds. Our classmates all started making out with each other - or rather, whoever was closest to them. It was as if a switch had been flipped, plunging our world into utter chaos.

"Is this some kind of quirk? A villain's attack?" I asked Tanya, my voice shaking with fear and uncertainty.

"Or maybe… an elaborate prank?" she suggested hesitantly, her eyes darting around the room as though searching for answers.

The world around me spun in a whirlwind of chaotic passion, each bizarre event piling on top of the other. I struggled to make sense of it all as Tanya grabbed my hand, her grip firm and reassuring.

"Kyoka." The seriousness in her tone made me star deep into her hypnotic blue eyes. Then her eyes started to glow golden as her voice took on almost a melodic tone, "Ich habe dich so vermisst. Ich liebe dich."

Her words were foreign to me, but the intensity in her eyes spoke volumes. Before I could react, Tanya pulled me close and pressed her lips against mine. My mind raced, trying to comprehend what was happening.

"Wait...what?" I stammered, pulling away from her. The moment seemed to stretch on forever, leaving me feeling lost and disoriented.

"Kyoka!" Tanya exclaimed, her voice filled with urgency. "Du musst mir vertrauen!"

"What are you saying?" I asked the frantic girl.

To myself, I couldn't help but think

Is this really Tanya?

My surroundings grew more chaotic by the second. Izuku's newfound bulk towered over us, and Momo and Mineta continued their passionate embrace.

"Kyoka, ich liebe dich!" Tanya suddenly blurted out in German, her eyes gleaming with intensity. She grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me in for a passionate kiss, leaving me utterly dumbfounded.

"Wha- Tanya?!" I stammered, pulling away from her. My cheeks burned with embarrassment, but more than that, I was utterly confused. "What are you doing?! We need to find All Might!"

"Was ist los?" Tanya asked, still speaking German. It seemed like she was trying to convey her feelings, but I couldn't understand her. And even if I could, there were more pressing matters at hand!

"Can we please focus on the situation?" I pleaded, my voice rising in frustration. My mind raced as I tried to come up with a plan, anything to stop the madness around us. But every idea I came up with seemed futile against the overwhelming chaos. The girl ignored me and grabbed my shoulders before giving me another deep kiss.

Just when I decided to just give up and accept the kiss, it felt like the ground beneath me was crumbling, and I was free-falling into an abyss of confusion and fear. Suddenly, I jolted awake, gasping for air as suddenly, I jolted awake, gasping for air. My heart raced as I looked around my room, taking in the familiar surroundings. It had all been a dream - an incredibly vivid, bizarre dream. I glanced at the calendar on my wall and groaned when I saw the date: April 1st.

"Ugh, just a stupid April Fools' prank from my subconscious," I muttered, burying my face in my pillow and screaming in frustration. As I tried to calm myself down, I realized that at least the day could only get better from here. And maybe, just maybe, it would be a day filled with laughter and camaraderie instead of chaos and confusion…

Though, she wouldn't mind that kiss-

I buried my face in my pillowcase and let out a muffled scream.
