15:38:12, 10 Miles North Of Hanoi, Vietnam, on board the ATLAS Corporation's experimental Assault Airship, which is capable of transporting large sums of personnel and vehicles and deploying them in equally developmental Drop Pods, Right Hand Squadron awaits the briefing of possibly the company's last contract in the country. At the same time, they also fit into the latest and largest Exo Suit in the world: the A.S.T. (Armored Support Transport).

Prophet: How are the new A.S.T.s, Right Hand Squadron?

Gideon: Enormous and powerful. Everybody's comfortable with all eight of 'em like back in the trial phase.

Drelick: Half of us choose to be precise, while the rest want to lay down heavy suppressive fire on the enemy.

Joker: We got our next mission yet, Prophet?

Prophet: Affirmative, Right Hand 2. Briefing's just arrived. While the U.S. Military controls the east side of Hanoi, the Australian Defence Force takes the south, and the Republic of Korea Armed Forces assaults the west, The Pentagon has given us the north. With Vietnam's underground resistance exterminated by Delta Force and the Presidential Family captured by Task Force Mako, all we have to do is finish off the remaining Hanoi Capital Command and Vietnam Militia and Self-Defence Force elements, who have gathered in the north with plans to evacuate to China and return with another Global Risk and Black List army. We cannot allow even one of them to leave and let the U.N. know that Vietnam is still standing. Otherwise, the Second Vietnam War will prolong, and the tide can be shifted. You will be supported by a 2000-man ATLAS brigade, which I will command and closely monitor in light of the recent acts of treason committed by small Australian and South Korean military squads. Once the op is complete, Right Hand Squadron will be given the choice to either exfil immediately with the regiment or help the Winslow Accord in any way as they topple Vietnam. I'll leave that up to you. Lastly, since this may be the last job the U.S. Government has for us here, the check is already cleared. Scupper their emergency plans, Mercenaries.

Before boarding the team's Drop Pods, Gideon forms an Alpha Team and a Bravo Team once again.

Gideon: Joker, Drelick, Rivers, you're with me. Ilona, you, Torres, Carter and Baron are gonna be Bravo Team.

Joker: You got it, boss.

[Drelick and Carter fist-bump]

Ilona: I mean no disrespect, sir, but an Alpha Team is supposed to be composed of only the best. Replace the amateurs and take the professionals.

Gideon: Drelick and Rivers are not amateurs, Ilona. And professionals, like the three of us as you claim, are far from perfect. Enough fucking around and get your head in the game. Now, move!

Joker: Don't tell us you got Cristy living in your head rent-free, Ilona.

Ilona: *groans* Fucking Joker.

With Right Hand Squadron split into two organized teams, all 2008 Mercenaries assemble and rapidly head down. And since all the local anti-air defenses of Hanoi have been destroyed by either the man-made snowstorms or friendly Winslow Accord forces, everyone manages to land on Vietnamese soil without a hitch.

In the streets, the regular ATLAS foot soldiers get surgical as it is their job to go door to door. While Right Hand Squadron deals with the strongest hostile resistance outdoors.

Meeting them upon landing is none other than Sentinel Team.

Preacher: Welcome to the party, Right Hand Squadron, ATLAS. Saved most of the bad guys for you.

Gideon: Much appreciated, mate. Now, get behind us. We got this.

[Standard Chain Gun fire]

Drelick: Major Lennox, sir?

Lennox: Chief Master Sergeant Drelick? Hey, it's been a while, Maynard.

Drelick: Too long, Norman. Good to see you again. Glad to see the 24th is still doing well.

Lennox: Yeah, you too. Glad you're doing alright.

Rivers: Drelick, come on. You're missing all the fun.

[Explosive Chain Gun fire]

Drelick: Gotta go to work, sir. Drink with the Special Tactics Squadron after this?

Lennox: You're on. And please, no need to call me "Major" or "sir" anymore.

Drelick: You got it... Major. *salutes*

Lennox: *salutes* Hang back, Sentinel Team. ATLAS will take care of this, and Prophet's keeping a close eye on everyone.

[Standard Chain Gun fire]

[HBRa3 fire]

Victoria: While it is beautiful, it is still a shame that dire situations like this are what is needed to bring people together.

Preacher: Yeah. And that even doesn't always work. Home-based trauma leading to volatile reactions is a fucking cancer. Just grateful the majority of us aren't like the scum we've put down.

Victoria: I concur.

Since Right Hand Squadron is 100 percent straight, the other ATLAS Mercenaries are professional, and Prophet is keeping everyone under a microscope, the Winslow Accord strike force stays behind and lets them do their job. And they have proven to be great at doing it.

As they reveal traps, expose hiding places, kick down doors and people with their Assault Exo Suits, and jump through windows, catching the Hanoi Capital Command Soldiers and Vietnam Militia and Self-Defence Force Insurgents off guard. And ATLAS Corporation's advanced warfare is ensuring that no team, regular or special, is suffering from any casualties.

Even though the Vietnamese are able to bring a small number of their miraculously surviving T-54M3s and T-55M3s to the streets to hold the Mercenaries and Sentinel Team off, they are immediately dispatched. As the A.S.T.'s Micro Rockets and Swarm Missiles are excellent anti-armor weapons, and the negative degree temperatures allow the Standard and Explosive Chain Guns to punch through the tanks' freezing armor like a pickaxe through ice.

Rivers: T-54s slowly approaching at 10 o'clock, engaging.

[Micro Rocket launches]

[explosion]

[Swarm Missiles launching]

[explosions]

[Standard Chain Gun fire]

[explosion]

Drelick: Freezing temps are making the tanks as fragile as the Titanic. You can use your main guns while your rockets and missiles reload.

[Explosive Chain Gun fire]

[explosions]

Joker: Good eye, Drelick.

15 minutes of direct and surgical assaults later, all NVA Soldiers and Vietnam Militia and Self-Defence Force Insurgents north of Hanoi are KIA before they could flee to China. And not a single Mercenary has been injured or killed or has committed a war crime.

While Prophet's 2000 man ATLAS brigade exfiltrates, Right Hand Squadron decides to stay in order to help Sentinel Team, SCAR Team, Viking Team 6 and Task Force Mako in any way. As well as to see Vietnam fall for themselves.

Lennox: Well, that's the north under W.A. control. We're moving to the east for the assault on the National Assembly Building. We take that, Hanoi will fall and Vietnam along with it.

Gideon: We copy, Sentinel 1.

Preacher: So, you guys are gonna exfil?

Gideon: Team?

Drelick: I wanna stay to help the Sentinels, SCARs, Vikings and Makos, sir.

Torres: We wanna see Vietnam fall. So we want to stay as well, sir.

Ilona: Agreed, we are regrouping on you now.

Baron: It ain't over until it's all over.

Carter: Better to have A.S.T. support and not need it than need it and not have it, boss.

Rivers: For the honorable fallen of the First Vietnam War.

Joker: Are we at the end of the war yet, boss? No? Then let's get there.

Gideon: Alright, it's settled. Right Hand Squadron, on Sentinel Team. We're moving east. Prophet, this is Right Hand 1. We're moving to assist the W.A. in their final assault, over.

Prophet: Roger that, Right Hand 1. You are cleared to provide support. Be advised, this is the last contract the U.S. Government has for us here. We're sending the debrief to your HUDs now, over.

Gideon: Understood, Prophet. Stream the debrief when ready.

As Drelick, Gideon, Joker, Ilona, Torres, Rivers, Baron and Carter follow Sentinel Team to the U.S. forces in the east side of Hanoi, Prophet live streams the debrief on their Heads Up Displays. Rather than the usual mission complete text at the end, like in the previous ATLAS missions, this video will be the AAR for this op.

Cristy: You proved ATLAS Corporation's worth, Mercenaries. Both in and out of Vietnam. Mr. Irons couldn't have been any prouder. While our mission here may have been primarily about helping the Winslow Accord win the Second Vietnam War, we've actually earned more than just a simple victory and massive payday. As we've gained the confidence and trust of The American People. Including the favor of the U.S. Government, which will allow us to get more profitable work from them. But more importantly. Uncovering the New Vietnamese Navy's capabilities defused any potential invasion on U.S. soil. Intercepting the U.N.'s state-of-the-art ground and air defense systems left Hanoi vulnerable to all of the friendly attacks that have occurred. Global Risk and Black List supported the Vietnamese Government publicly and privately. Exposing them made them too busy to deal with the rising Winslow Accord threat on their doorstep. Staff Sergeant Will 'Preacher' Irons was on the brink of freeing The Ghosts' Brainwashed American Slaves from their programming and the U.N.'s chain leash. All he needed was the support his disgraced team refused to give him. Terminating Global Risk and the fleeing Hanoi Capital Command and Vietnam Militia and Self-Defence Force elements was the penultimate move before checkmate. Their brief getaway and subsequent return with another Global Risk and Black List army would've turned a guaranteed victory into a protracted war no one could win. Weakened and decimated, the remaining Vietnamese Government will have no other option but to surrender to the Winslow Accord. Now, the U.S. Government may have allowed us to heal and rest, but they also told us to rearm, develop and expand while doing so. As future contracts will require more proficiency and go far beyond the local conflicts. Our work for them isn't finished. You should hear from them soon, ATLAS.
