Jumpy felt Lin Chung's hand touch his head.
The pats and fur ruffling always made his heart skip a beat. He liked getting the affection from him. There wasn't a reason why he wouldn't, Lin Chung was his best friend so any affection felt great. Jumpy had a huge smile on his face. A cute little happy sigh left his mouth. Warmth spread across his chest. His ears went down slightly but they still pointed upwards.
Lin Chung smiled before he removed his hand and walked away. Jumpy's ears fell behind him. It felt too short, it always did. If it could last an eternity, he'd want it to last. His heart was close to melting, but it was still intact. All Jumpy could do was watch him leave. His paw went to the top of his head, still feeling it and longing for more. He always wanted more and he couldn't help it.
More pats, some cuddles, being next to him, kisses too-
Wait.
He had a sudden realization as he actively thought about that. He felt himself flush a deep red. His heart pounded harder and faster. Jumpy covered his face with his ears. He didn't know how he didn't realize it before. In a way, he did want all of that, but in another he felt anxious about it. He didn't know if Lin Chung would feel the same way or if he'd think it was weird Jumpy felt that way towards him.
He peeked at him again. Jumpy wanted to ask for help about this, but he didn't know how everyone else in Big Green felt about relationships between humans and animals. He was afraid to know what they thought if he had to be honest. Well, he supposed he didn't have to know right now. He could always wait until he was sure and ready to say something about it. It wasn't like he couldn't still spend time with him in the meantime either.
Jumpy Ghostface smiled at Lin Chung again.
